The design of a vacuum pumping system for the KOMAC (Korea Multipurpose Accelerator Complex) RFQ(Radio-Frequency Quadrupole) linac is described. [Fig] Resulted from the lost proton beam, gas streaming from the LEBT (Low Energy Beam Transport) and out-gassing from the surfaces of the RFQ cavity and vacuum plumbing, the total gas load will be on the order of 7.2$\times$10-4 Torr-liters/sec, consisting mainly of hydrogen. The system designed to pump on a continual basis with redundancy to ensure that the minimal operating vacuum level of 1.0$\times$10-6 Torr is maintained even under abnormal conditions. Details of the design, performance analysis and the preliminary test results of the cryogenic pumps are presented.

The purpose of this study is to investigate Residents' Neighborship in the Habitat Housing. It is also aimed to promote the community and community sense. Questionary methods and Direct interview were used for the survey of residents in the Habitat Housing. SPSS 10.0 program use for a statistical analysis. Most of the low-income bracket residential district has few public spaces. Habitat residential areas also have difficulties in taking various spaces because of the small scale and few people. According to the answer to the questions about Habitat residential problems, many people need public spaces. Consequently, multipurpose spaces must be made for the Habitat residents' neighborship and their good lives.

The number of clinics for Oriental Clinic is increasing sharply in Korea after the inception of National Health Insurance System in 1987. However there have been many troubles in making efficient plans for oriental clinic facilities because of the lack of proper guidelines related to the design of them. This research was conducted as part of the planning project for the "G" Oriental Clinic. The purpose of this project Is to place a optimal number of beds in a small oriental clinic and medical-environmental friendly design After arranging necessary spaces, such as the Director's Office, Herbal Medicine Preparation Room, Multipurpose Room, Medicine Cabinet, and Waiting Room in the clinic, partitions are used to differentiate the spaces and the storage area.

Multi-functional USN Gateway (MUG) is a multipurpose system combining a mesh router and a sensor gateway. The paper presents the design and implementation of the MUG system and the test-bed to verify the MUG system. MUG combines IEEE 802.11n based Wi-Fi mesh router functions and USN gateway functions. MUG supports IP sensor networks based on 6LoWPAN and non IP sensor networks based on ZigBee. MUG also provides various backhaul network interfaces including WiBro, HSDPA, and Ethernet Interfaces. We verify the feasibility of the MUG system through implementation and evaluate the performance by installing and testing several MUG systems in the test-bed.

The developments of small hydropower plants in korea have been delayed by rising construction cost/low feasibility, local people's disagreement even though the capacity of water resources are enough. However, the recent raising of electricity purchasing price, the government's enlarging plan of small hydropower plants caused the newly development to be accelerated. In this paper, the design of remote control of small hydropower plants are proposed for better economy and easy control. The operation and monitoring of power plants are planned based on One(1)-man control from the central control room of regional area water works/ operating station and engineering station multipurpose dam offices with the equipments of OS, RTU(PLC), KT leased lines, WMPS, CSU and etc.

This is a study of a residential area for displaced villagers planned for residents of Gyodo Village who must evacuate their hometown because of flooding due to the Hantan River Dam Project. The study aims to construct a plan for a new residential area for the villagers focusing on reflecting the existing characteristics of their former village and on ensuring sustainability for the new village. Departing from previous practice of focusing on merely physical aspects when planning, the current study is significant in that it presents a new planning process and method for a sustainability-focused plan. While the study has many limitations such as objectivity in the process of deriving the sustainability indicators and the appropriateness of the indicator questions, it is hoped that future studies on sustainability will serve to make up for these limitations and problems.

한국의 9개 다목적댐저수지와 그외 다른 3개 저수지로부터 1995년 11월부터 1998년 9월까지 채집된 민물 태형동물 4종을 보고한다. 이중 Pectinatella mag-nifica는 외국에서 유입된 종을 우리나레에서는 처음으로 보고되는 종이며, 따라서 한국산 민물 태형동물은 모두 11종이 기록된다.

무선인터넷은 유선망을 중심으로 한 인터넷 비즈니스의 범위만큼이나 다양한 형태의 데이터 제공 및 서비스가 가능해야 한다. 하지만, 무선인터넷 초기의 SMS 기능을 이용한 단순 데이터 서비스를 위한 브라우저 만으로는 다양한 멀티 미디어 컨텐츠를 서비스할 수 없으므로 좀더 발전된 브라우저가 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 이동단말기용 웹브라우저에 자바가상기계를 추가하여 자바프로그램 수행이 가능한 자바브라우저를 설계구현하였다. 본 자바브라우저를 탑재 한 이동단말기는 원하는 기능의 자바 프로그램을 동적으로 적재하여 전자상거래, 전자지갑, 게임기와 같은 다용도의 이동단말기를 가능하게 한다.

I. Objectives This study investigated the dentin shear bond strength and the degree of conversion (DC) of currently used dentin bonding agents (DBAs) that were irradiated with a light emitting diode (LED) light curing unit (LCU) and a halogen LCU. II. Materials and methods The halogen LCU and the LED LCU used in this study were a VIP(Bisco, Schaumburg, IL, USA) and an Elipar Freelight(3M ESPE, St Paul, MN, USA) respectively. For the VIP, $400mW{\cdot}cm-2$ intensity mode was used to adjust to the intensity of the LED LCU. The DBAs used in this study were Scotchbond Multipurpose (3M ESPE), Single Bond (3M ESPE), One-step(Bisco), Clearfil SE Bond(Kuraray), and Adper Prompt(3M ESPE).(omitted)

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of multiple application of all-in-one dentin adhesive system on microtensile bond strength using confocal laser scanning microscope and microtensile bond strength test. The dentin surface of human molars, sectioned to remove the enamel from the occlusal surface were prepared. In group I, Scotchbond Multipurpose(SM, 3M ESPE) was applied by manufature's recommended. In group II, after the all-in-one adhesive, Adper Prompt L-Pop was applied for 15s, and light cured for 10s, the second coat was re-applied and light-cured.(omitted)
