Surfacing Process of Pulsed Nd:YAG laser by using Multiple mesh and Pulse Superposition Technique (다단메쉬 및 펄스중첩법을 적용한 펄스형 Nd:YAG의 Surfacing Process)

  • In this study, we designed multiple mesh circuit consisting of 3-6 meshes and pulse superposition one consisting of a 3 mesh, and fabricated the electrical power supply and the single elliptical resonator. We developed the two pulse superposition technique forming the step pulse shapes of pulsed Nd:YAG laser with single shot multivibrator and 2 SCRs. Laser beam generated by multiple mesh circuit and superposition one respectively irradiated target surface to analyze process state of surface with spark and vapor. And it was obtained experimental results that all superposition meshes had common points which the best efficiency was obtained at delay time 0[${\mu}s$], followed by, no superposition and obtained at delay time 250[${\mu}s$].

Pipelined A/D Converter with Multiple S/H Stage Structure (여러개의 S/H단 구조를 가지는 파이프라인 A/D변환기)

  • In this paper, the pipelined A/D converter with multi S/H stage structure is proposed for high resolution and high-speed data conversion rate. In order to improve a resolution and operational speed, the proposed structure increased the sampling time that is sampled input signal. In order to verify the operation characteristics, 20MS/s pipelined A/D converter is designed with two S/H stage. The simulation result shows that INL and DNL are $0.52LSB\~-0.63LSB$ and $0.53LSB\~-0.56LSB$, respectively. Also, the designed Analog-to-Digital converter has the SNR of 43dB and power consumption is 18.5mW.

  • Two furanosesquiterpenes, (5'E)-5-(2',6'-dimethylocta-5',7'-dienyl) furan-3-carboxylic acid (1) and (1'E,5'E)-5-(2',6'-dimethylocta-l',5',7'-trienyl) furan-3-carboxylic acid (2), were isolated from soft coral Sinularia lochmodes collected from Palikir pass at Pohnpei Micronesia, June, 1990 in Hawaii. Their structures were elucidated by $^1H$, $^{13}C$ NMR, Homo-COSY, $^1H$-$^{13}C$ (1 bond) Heteronuclear Multiple Quantum Coherence Spectroscopy (HMQC), $^1H$-$^{13}C$ (2 and 3 bond) Heteronuclear Multiple Bond Coherence Spectroscopy (HMBC), Electron Impact Mass Spectroscopy (EI-ms), and Infrared Spectroscopy (IR).

  • In this paper some attempts have been made: (a) To identify all the elementary minor concepts of the Highest Common Factor (H.C.F.) and the Lowest Common Multiple (L.C.M.), and (b) To find the sequential order of these elementary concepts. Total 385 elementary minor concepts have been identified and sequenced.

  • The rolling stocks of KORAIL are KTX, Saemaulho Multiple Unit(PP), New Electrical Locomotive(DL), Electrical Locomotive(EL), Diesel Locomotive, Metropolitan Commuter Train(CDC), VVVF and Resistance Controlled Multiple Unit, etc. EMU with the maximum speed of 150km/h is under the test run at the moment. Electrical Multiple Units for mainlines with 180km/h speed are supposed to be introduced as a substitute for Saemaulho Multiple Unit which is scheduled to be out of service. But the specification standard for the control board design of train driver's cab does not exist and there is no a study for layout and type of controlling device with driver's ergonomical approach. That's why the types of controller and operating are different from rolling stocks, which has high possibility of driver's human error and needs education whenever a new car comes in. Based on the opinion poll of drivers, design specification of safety engineering and ergonomics for controlling devices and safety facilities can improve exact control for devices and deal quickly with an emergency so as to improve rolling stock safety and operational efficiency.

Improved H.264/AVC Intra Lossless Compression Using Multiple Partition Prediction For $4{\times}4$ Intra Block ($4{\times}4$ 블록의 Multiple Partition 예측을 이용한 개선된 H.264/AVC 무손실 인트라 압축 방법)

  • H.264/AVC 무손실 인트라 압축을 위하여 사용되는 픽셀 예측 방법은 Sample by Sample DPCM (SbS DPCM) 으로서 이 방법에서는 각각의 픽셀을 주변 픽셀로부터 예측하고 그 오차를 전송한다. 본 논문에서는 $4{\times}4$ 블록에 대한 Multiple Partition 예측과 SbS DPCM을 이용하여 H.264/AVC 의 무손실 인트라 압축 효율을 증가시키는 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 각 $4{\times}4$ 블록을 $4{\times}4$, $4{\times}2$, $2{\times}4$, $2{\times}2$, $1{\times}1$ 크기의 sub-partition 을 가지는 다양한 partition 으로 예측한다. 이 때 각 sub-partition 들은 SbS DPCM을 이용하여 예측되고 이 때 사용하는 예측 방향의 개수는 예측 방향 정보량을 고려하여 sub-partition 크기에 따라 조절한다. 실험 결과에 의하면 제안하는 방법은 기존 H.264/AVC에 비하여 최대 17.02 %p, 평균 13.29 %p 의 압축율 개선을 보여주며 SbS DPCM만 사용하는 방법에 비하여 최대 4.74 %p, 평균 3.62 %p 정도의 압축율 개선을 보여준다.

  • Many researchers have studied synthesis method of 90/150 group CA. However, there is a lack of researches for synthesis method of 90/150 nongroup CA. In this paper we report some interesting properties of 90/150 multiple-attractor CA in which all of the cycles are of unit length. 90/150 multiple-attractor CA is a class of nongroup CA. And we propose a construction of 90/150 single-attractor CA. Also we construct 90/150 multiple-attractor CA derived from 90/150 single-attractor CA.
