  • 유아교육 현장에서 교사들이 가정과 연계하여 유아와 효율적이고 실천적인 유아환경 보전 교육활동을 할 수 있도록 우리의 환경문화를 중심으로 한 구체적이며 적절한 환경보전 교육활동자료의 개발이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 유아의 환경교육을 보다 효과적으로 지도하고 유아의 발달단계 특성을 고려하여 환경교육과 내용을 정하고 그 발달단계에 맞는 교육내용을 3D 애니메이션으로 설계하였다.

  • 본 논문은 기존의 가상현실을 이용하여 환경교육용 프로그램과의 차별성을 두어 단순히 가상현실을 이용한 전통문화 체험학습이 아닌, 조선시대의 자연환경과 주거환경 모습을 가상현실로 재현하고 각계 전문가의 고증을 통해 작성된 시나리오를 바탕으로 사용자 스스로 현재의 자연환경 변화의 모습과 조선시대의 환경변화 모습을 비교 학습하고 원인과 해결방안을 모색 할 수 있는 환경교육용 가상체험 프로그램을 제작하는데 그 목적이 있다.

  • 디지털화된 새로운 패러다임(paradigm)은 교수 미디어에 있어서도 많은 변화를 가져오고 있다. 과거의 일방적 지식전달방식에서 탈피하여 피교육자 스스로 선택적으로 강의를 찾아다니면서 본인의 능력에 맞도록 수업을 할 수 있으며, 각종 e-Learning 컨텐츠의 활용은 물론 피드백이 가능한 커뮤니케이션을 요구하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 디자인 기술 분야의 교과목에서 도입중인 e-Learning을 중심으로 고려되어야 할 사항 및 효율적인 학습방법과 그 활성화 방안의 한 가지를 제시하였다.

  • This study seeks to explore the method of imagination through creative new thinking in cultural heritage education and the most effective model of education in education. Research methods were organized by the methods of reviewing literature, browsing the Internet, and comparative analysis of prior research. We hope to realize the need for differentiated Korean cultural heritage and make efforts to incorporate our identity in the design. In the process of visualizing information, the focus should be on identifying the structure, characteristics, and the correlation between pattern and trend analysis, and the heterogeneity analysis, and should be made with the characteristics considered. Texting, graphics, sound, animation, lighting, and Navigation are often used as the expressive elements of information visualization for educational models. To facilitate the understanding of learners, accurate information transmission visuals should be presented. To do so, the use of infographic can be the answer. It is necessary to develop appropriate multimedia visual data, such as the use of infographic to be applied, and to develop various infographic multimedia visuals. These work should not be merely a research dimension, but should be carried out with the aim of helping develop actual cultural heritage educational content.

  • Reflecting the current craze for early childhood education, the demand for learning contents has soared, kids content is emerging as a key topic of the contents industry. The industry developing digital content for young learners is called the 'angel industry', it is attracting a lot of attention because of the increased demand for early childhood education. This paper selects characters used in successful digital products to study character design for OSMU children's educational contents. Through advanced research, analysis criteria were prepared and analyzed to derive general success strategies for character design. As a result, common design features in the analyzed characters were found and confirmed the need for further research. Hopefully, this study will contribute to OSMU character design and lead to improved development of educational contents and commercialization of various characters.

  • Multimedia information, including video and voice, is highly utilized in that it is easily understood by people. For this reason, applications have been studied which store multimedia information in IoT devices and transmit information in conjunction with smartphones. The problem is that the size of information can be larger than the capacity of IoT devices due to video and image. In this paper, the multimedia content design technique, which takes into account the limitations of storage capacity, was studied when there is a limit of storage capacity. Considering that the video has a higher understanding of information than text, while the capacity is larger, the solution between information comprehension and capacity is sought. The size of static and dynamic media is a variable and the harm is solved in accordance with the linear planning method. Case studies have shown that the design techniques of this paper are useful.

  • Elementary school students feel more difficult the mathematical word problems than the numberical formula. I think that this reason isn't the ability of mathematical calculation but the problems representation. It is demanded exactly understanding about the requirements of problem for improving ability of the mathematical word problem representation. It is necessary that we take multimedia data and communication for this, because web advances multimedia materialization and promotes mutual communication, then it gives us with the most environment for word problem representation learning. According to, this thesis is designed web-based system to improve ability of the mathematical word problem representation, applied the sixth grade it experimentally.

The Effects of Preoperative PCA Education with Multimedia and Brochure on Pain Management in Surgical Patients (수술환자를 위한 동영상과 소책자를 활용한 자가통증조절장치 교육의 효과)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of preoperative PCA (Patient-Controlled Analgesia) education on pain, patient attitude, and patient satisfaction in surgical patients. Methods: The study was a quasi-experimental research design. The participants were 54 patients who were admitted for surgery at I hospital in G city, Korea. Of the 54 patients, 26 were assigned to the experimental group and the rest to the control group. The PCA education was provided in the nurses' station, individually to patients in the experimental group the day before their operation. Multimedia and brochure, and a real PCA model were used. The control group received only verbal education about PCA. Results: The postoperative pain scores were significantly different for lapse of time in the experimental group compare to the control group. Patient attitude toward using pain medicine was significantly more positive in the experimental group than in the control group. The postoperative patient satisfaction with pain management was significantly higher in the experimental group than in the control group. Conclusion: The study findings indicate that preoperative PCA education could be an effective nursing intervention for pain management of surgical patients.

  • This paper described the design and implementation of the FRA(Fault Recovery Agent) for home network environment based on IP-USN. This system consists of a FDA, FSA, and FRA. FDA is an agent that detects an fault by hooking techniques for multimedia distance education based on IP-USN environment. FSA is an agent that is an fault sharing system for multimedia distance education based on IP-USN environment. FRA is a system that is suitable for recovering software fault for multimedia distance education running on home network environment based on IP-USN. It is necessary for the system to be protected by reactivity of media service instance instead of breaking process of session. This system is limited only for FRA modeling.

  • In this paper, in order to help one to write contents for education in such a way to increase effectiveness, we implement SMIL editor, which helps anyone to author contents for education and multimedia text in an easy way based on multimeda language SMIL. Thanks to its interface which utilizes WYSIWYGT, this editor allows teachers or other users who do not know SMIL to write contents for education and multimedia text in an easy way and to check in a real time how a partially completed document work and to revise when it is not satisfactory. It also allows one to write contents with explanations to help learning because usable multimedia objects can be inserted. This editor helps the user to reduce his inconvenience that he has in memorizing SMIL tags and to reduce his time and offers in writing the documents.
