This study is intended to propose a technique that can trace objects by utilizing the multimarker method in the Marker Recognition which is a bridge way connecting virtuality and reality in complex environments or in a condition hands become obstacles. In the existing marker method, the object becomes blinking when the maker is blocked since this method relies only on single marker. However, the researcher was able to confirm the appearance of augmented object when the marker was blocked for the multiple markers replaced the blocked one. In order to implement such technique, multi-marker estimation was utilized with perspective matrix. The advantage is the fast estimation process for there is no need of other calculation. The implemented technique can detect markers and locate their positions, represent 3-D object in various circumstances.
In the post-COVID era, the importance of quarantine measures is greatly emphasized, and accordingly, research related to the detection of mask wearing conditions and prevention of other infectious diseases using deep learning is being conducted. However, research on the detection and tracking of visitors to cultural facilities to prevent the spread of diseases is equally important, so research on this should be conducted. In this paper, a convolutional neural network-based object detection model is trained through transfer learning using a pre-collected dataset. The weights of the trained detection model are then applied to a multi-object tracking model to monitor visitors. The visitor detection model demonstrates results with a precision of 96.3%, recall of 85.2%, and an F1-score of 90.4%. Quantitative results of the tracking model include a MOTA (Multiple Object Tracking Accuracy) of 65.6%, IDF1 (ID F1 Score) of 68.3%, and HOTA (Higher Order Tracking Accuracy) of 57.2%. Furthermore, a qualitative comparison with other multi-object tracking models showcased superior results for the model proposed in this paper. The research of this paper can be applied to the hygiene systems within cultural facilities in the post-COVID era.
Image segmentation is very important technique as preprocessing. It is used for various applications such as object recognition, computer vision, object based image compression. In this paper, a method which segments the multidimensional image using a hierarchical histogram approach, is proposed. The hierarchical histogram approach is a method that decomposes the multi-dimensional situation into multi levels of 1 dimensional situations. It has the advantage of the rapid and easy calculation of the histogram, and at the same time because the histogram is applied at each level and not as a whole, it is possible to have more detailed partitioning of the situation.
Electrical impedance(EIT) for the multi-phase flow visualization is an imaging modality in which the resistivity distribution of the unknown object is estimated based on the known sets of injected currents and measured voltages on the surface of the object. In this paper, an EIT reconstruction algorithm based on the extended Kalman filter(EKF) is proposed. The EIT reconstruction problem is formulated as a dynamic model which is composed of the state equation and the observation equation, and the unknown resistivity distribution is estimated recursively with the aid of the EKF. To verify the reconstruction performance of the proposed algorithm, experiments with simulated multi-phase flow are performed.

A multibody system dynamics analysis program is presented using one of the most useful programming methodologies, the object-oriented modeling, The object-oriented modeling defines a problem from the physical world as an abstract object. The object becomes encapsulated with the data and method, Analysis is performed using the object's interface, It is then possible for the user and the developer to modify and upgrade the program without having particular knowledge of the analysis program, The method presented in this paper has several advantages, Since the mechanical components of the multi-body system are converted into the class, the modification, exchange, distribution and reuse of classes are increased. It becomes easier to employ a new analysis method and interface with other S/W and H/W systems, Information can be communicated to each object through messaging. This makes the modeling of new classes easier using the inheritance, When developing a S/W for the computer simulation of a physical system, it is reasonable to use object-oriented modeling.
In this paper. a heuristic multi-thresholding algorithm is proposed to extract objects from background. Specifically the proposed algorithm finds out multi valleys from gray level histogram automatically and non-recursively. Some experimental result for various types of image. are presented, to show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

Borescopes facilitate the inspection of areas inside machines and systems that are not directly accessible for visual inspection. They offer real-time, up-close access to confined and hard-to-access spaces without having to dismantle or destructure the object under inspection. Borescopes are ideal instruments for routine maintenance, quality inspection and monitoring of systems and structures. The main application being fault or defect detection, it is useful to have measuring capability to quantify object dimensions in a target area. High-end borescopes use multi-optic solutions to provide measurement information of viewed objects. Multi-optic solutions can provide accurate measurements at the expense of structural complexity and cost increase. Measuring functionality is often unavailable in low-end, single camera borescopes. In this paper, a single camera measurement solution that enables the size estimation of viewed objects is proposed. The proposed solution computes and overlays a scaled grid of known spacing value over the screen view, enabling the human inspector to estimate the size of the objects in view. The proposed method provides a simple means of measurement that is applicable to low-end borescopes with no built-in measurement capability.
Ultrasonic sensors are widely used in mobile robot applications to recognize external environments, because they are cheap, easy to use, and robust under varying lighting conditions. However, the recognition of objects using a ultrasonic sensor is not so easy due to its characteristics such as narrow beam width and no reflected signal from a inclined object. As one of the alternatives to resolve these problems, use of multiple sensors has been studied. A sequential driving system needs a long measurement time and does not take advantage of multiple sensors. Simultaneous and pulse coding driving system of ultrasonic sensor array cannot measure short distance as the length of the code becomes long. This problem can be resolved by multi-frequency driving of ultrasonic sensors, which allows multi-sensors to be fired simultaneously and adjacent objects to be distinguished. Accordingly, this paper presents a simultaneous and multi-frequency driving system for an ultrasonic sensor array for object recognition. The proposed system is designed and implemented using a DSP and FPGA. A micro-controller board is made using a DSP, Polaroid 6500 ranging modules are modified for firing the multi-frequency signals, and a 5-channel frequency modulated signal generating board is made using a FPGA. To verify the proposed method, experiments were conducted in an environment with overlapping signals, and the flight distances for each sensor were obtained from filtering of the received overlapping signals and calculation of the time-of-flights.
In this paper, we describes the design of software architecture supporting for healthcare context information service platform based on multi agent in home environment. In this platform, the DOGF supports the execute object and healthcare sensors and device's logical services grouping. JADE framework can support mobility in heterogeneous environment. The multi agents on platform order to support a healthcare context information service it will be able to divide. An agent collects an environment information from distributed devices. Another an agent follows mobile-device specific and it does a different service. And an agent where it manages like this. The mobile-proxy&agent is an interface part between DOGF and JADE, support data interchange or mobility pattern. For DOGF and JADE to provide healthcare context information service, we describes the design of multi agent software platform and multi agent classification by services. Finally we showed the system environments which is physical environments and prototype based on platfonn for healthcare context information services.

In this paper, a new algorithm for the segmentation of the multi moving objects at the 3 dimension space and the method of measuring the distance from the camera to the moving object by using stereo video monitoring system is proposed. It get the input image of left and right from the stereo video monitoring system, and the area of the multi moving objects segmented by using adaptive threshold and PRA(pixel recursive algorithm). Each of the object segmented by window mask, then each coordinate value and stereo disparity of the multi moving objects obtained from the window masks. The distance of the multi moving objects can be calculated by this disparity, the feature of the stereo vision system and the trigonometric function. From the experimental results, the error rate of a distance measurement be existed within 7.28%, therefore, in case of implementation the proposed algorithm, the stereo security system, the automatic moving robot system and the stereo remote control system will be applied practical application.
