In this study, the structural relationship among risk factors, safety motivation, and safety behavior perceived by telecommunications workers was empirically verified. A survey was conducted on field workers at S telecommunications companies in Korea, and the following major results were obtained. First, among the risk factors perceived by telecommunications workers, personal, cultural, and institutional factors were found to have significant positive effects on workers' safety motivation. Second, workers' safety motivation had a significant positive effect on safety behavior. Third, among the risk factors of telecommunications companies, personal, cultural, and institutional factors did not significantly affect workers' safety behavior. Fourth, all risk-causing factors perceived by workers, such as personal, cultural, and institutional factors, indirectly affected safety behavior through safety motivation. This study presents the importance of perceiving risk factors in the workplace to prevent and alleviate industrial accidents by examining the effects of riskcausing factors perceived by carrier workers on safety motivation and behavior.
Purpose: The aim of this study was to analyze effects of internal marketing activities on nurse's motivation based on the Herzberg's two factor theory. Methods: The subjects of this study were 521 nurses who were working in the 4 general hospitals located in Seoul and Incheon area. The data were collected by self-reporting questionnaires. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and path analysis. Results: The mean score of nurse's perception of internal marketing was 3 point, and it was similar to previous studies results. In the motivation factors, the most satisfied factor was a responsibility. Advancement was the most unsatisfied factor. In the hygiene factors, the most satisfied factor was a technical supervision. Policy and administration were the most unsatisfied factors. Internal marketing activities affecting on nurse's motivation were different by each motivation-hygiene factors. In an aspect of motivation factors, the statistically significant internal marketing factors were paid-leave, employee welfare and communication, however, in hygiene factors, education, employee welfare and reward. Conclusion: These results will be used to develop a macro or micro internal marketing strategies to enhance nurse's motivation based on motivation factors and hygiene factors.
This study analyzed various factors of reading motivation and motivational differences between grades and gender. An urban sample of first-, third- and fifth- grade children completed the Motivation for Reading Questionnaire (MRQ; Wigfield & Guthrie, 1997). The MRQ assesses such possible factors of reading motivation as self-efficacy, intrinsic-extrinsic reading motives, and social aspects of reading. Factor analyses and cronbach's ${\alpha}$ demonstrated that 10 factors of children's reading motivation could be identified and measured reliably. Mean scores on most of the factors differed by grade and gender, with girls and lower grades reporting stronger motivation. This study found that children's reading motivation is various and decreases as children mature. Various efforts to encourage children's motivation for reading are suggested in this study.
This study aimed to explore how the Korean university students' reading motivation is related to their English (L2) reading behavior. The construct of the students' Korean (L1) and L2 reading motivation was investigated with the data obtained through the questionnaire from 120 sophomore students. A factor analysis was conducted to extract the major factors of motivation and determine the interrelationship among items in the questionnaire. As a result, 6 factors were extracted: Intrinsic Motivation for English Reading, Extrinsic Motivation 1 (Immediate Goal Orientedness), Extrinsic Motivation 2 (Integrative Orientation), Importance of L1 Reading, Intrinsic Motivation toward L1 reading, and Importance of L2 Reading Skill. The interrelatedness between the assessment results on the L2 reading behavior (reading amount, time and speed) and motivation factors was measured by correlation coefficients. It was found that Intrinsic Motivation toward English Reading was significantly related to the students' reading amount and Intrinsic Motivation toward Korean Reading had positive association with the students' reading time with statistical significance. Other factors did not show significant correlation with the students' reading behavior. In addition, the students' reading speed was significantly related to their reading amount as well, while reading time did not affect the speed gain.

This paper discussed motivation, some theories of motivation and motivation of library personnel. The most important aspect of any organization is its workforce. Motivation arouses, energizes, influences and sustains behaviour and performance of employees. Motivating factors include extrinsic factors which pertain to the conditions under which a job is performed and intrinsic motivators which contribute to job satisfaction and subsequently increase productivity. Two levels of motivation were identified in the library: the need-factor motivation and the profession-related motivation. Need-factor motivation is well-pronounced in the lower cadre of library staff such as library assistants, clerical staff, and porters who set their priority on economic needs. The profession-related motivation occurs among professionally trained librarians whose motivation hinges self-fulfillment derived from professional growth and development. Other motivating factor in the library is job design which includes job rotation, job enlargement, and job enrichment. Job design specifies the contents or methods of any job in such a way that various requirements of a job can be effectively satisfied. Adequate motivation of library employees lies with the managers because they generally control work distribution, freedom and autonomy, work challenge Remove, staff development and training, and advancement opportunities. The managers are urged to create enabling environment to ensure improved commitment, satisfaction, and productivity of employees in the library.

A great deal needs to be learned about why and how users participate and consume information on various online sites. The design of socio-technical systems especially for promoting engagement in terms of maximum user participation is both a theoretical and real-world challenge that researchers strive to understand. At present, most of the research on the motives of Internet video users' behavior focuses on the user's "viewing motivation" and "sharing motivation", and lacks the analysis of the factors affecting users' "subscription motivation". This study will attempt to compensate for this gap. Based on the YouTube platform, we take Chinese video users as the research object and uses the "Censydiam user motivation analysis model" to make assumptions about user subscription motivation from the two levels of social needs and personal needs, using regression analysis. Validate the hypothesis and get the influencing factors that may be available in the user's subscription motivation based on the assumptions. Built on survey data from 215 respondents, the study found that Enjoyment, Vitality, Power, and Conviviality are four factors that influence user motivation.
This study examined the relationships between multiple intelligences as cognitive factors and affective factors of learning motivation and academic self-concept. The data were collected from 276 4th grade elementary school students and analyzed by correlation, multi-variate analysis, and step-wise multiple regression. Results were that (1) multiple intelligences, learning motivation, and academic self-concept had statistically significant correlations among themselves. Multi-variate analysis showed that intra-personal intelligence explained 58.6% of the linear combination of learning motivation and academic self-concept. (2) Intra-personal intelligence explained 29% to 58% of learning motivation and its sub-factors of achievement motivation, internal locus of control, self-efficacy, and self-regulation. (3) Intra-personal intelligence, logical-mathematical intelligence, musical intelligence, and inter-personal intelligence were explanatory variables for academic self-concept and its sub-factors.
Purpose: This study sought to identify the factors influencing learning motivation and demotivation in online dental technology students. Methods: A survey was conducted from October 1 to 30, 2021, on 188 dental technology students. The collected data were processed using the IBM SPSS IBM SPSS Statistics ver. 22.0 statistical program (IBM), and frequency, factor, and one-way ANOVA analyses were performed, for which the significance was set at 0.05. Results: It was found that the main online learning motivation factors were the usefulness of the learning content, interest, and confidence in the activities, the relationships with the teachers and friends, the feedback, and learning satisfaction. The factors that reduced the students' online learning motivation were interaction difficulties, maladaptation to the self-directed learning environment, the inadequate number of learning activities, and activity difficulty. Conclusion: Based on the identified online class motivation and demotivation factors, better systematic management and increased research are needed to improve the quality of non-face-to-face classes.
This paper reviewed the relationship among safety education/managerial factors, safety motivation and safety appliance, and the moderating effect of safety motivation. Based on the responses from 225 employees in small & medium manufacturing and construction industry, hierarchical regressional analysis showed that all education/managerial factors have positive relationships with safety motivation. Also, safety motivation has mediating effect between education/managerial factors(safety education, communication, system, precautionary activity) and safety appliance.
