  • With the increasing requirements for the survey and development of the ocean, the demands on the of AUV(Autonomous Underwater Vehicle) technologies have been increased. Reconstruction and replay of the AUV motion on the basis of the data stored during the execution of mission, can help the development of control strategies for AUVs such as mission planning and control algorithms. While an AUV cruises for her mission, her attitude and position data are is recorded. The data can be used for visualization of the motion in off-line. However, because most of the position data gathered from acoustic sensors have long time-interval and include intermittent faulty signal, the replayed motion by the graphic simulator can not demonstrate the motion as a smooth movie. In this paper, interpolation methods are surveyed to reconstruct the AUV position data. Then, an efficient 3D visualization method for AUV motion using the interpolation method is proposed. Simulation results arc also included to verify the proposed method.

  • With the development of the digital age, the moving poster shows the possibility of development and update. In this study, by analyzing the characteristics and types of moving posters, we studied the elements of motion graphic movement of moving posters. Through this specific case, we analyzed the characteristics of moving posters expressed in Memphis style to explore their strengths and applicability. In the current situation where the popularity of moving posters is increasing, it is good to develop and utilize the study of Memphis moving posters.

  • This paper presents the historical development process and expressive style of motion graphics which are intended to artistic expression, and discusses the value of artistic expressions in motion graphics through the works and activities of F5 and Semi-Permanent which are the representative organization of that. Commercial use of digital motion graphics has been rapidly widespread and used in most of the picture contents by changes in the digital video production environment with the development of the computer. Motion graphics begins with a graphic design applied to the motion graphic content and is transferred from the abstract representation of the animation at the same time. Since then motion graphics have been developed as an independent genre on the basis of graphic design and animation, and take the important position for the understanding and development of the contemporary design and content industry. Moreover, the motion graphics which present the experiment of various techniques and the aspect of mixed genres contribute to the development and diversification of the visual image. This paper is covered on not only F5 and Semi-Permanent that have published experimental artistic motion graphics but also the analysis of the developed ways and expressive patters to produce experimental motion graphics of their works. Furthermore, it discusses the experimental artistic value of these works.

  • The purpose of this investigation was to study the kinematics of joints between the foot segments based on computer graphic model during the stance? phase of walking. In the model, all joints were assumed to act as monocentric. single degree of freedom hinge joints. The motion of foot was captured by a video collection system using four cameras. The model fitted in an individual subject was simulated with this motion data. The range of motion of the first tarsometatarsal joint was $-8^{\circ}\;\~\;-13^{\circ}$, and the first metatarsophanlangeal joint was $-13^{\circ}\;\~\;-48^{\circ}$. The kinematic data of tarsometatarsal joint and metatarsophanlangeal joint were similar to the previous data. Therefore, our method based on the graphical computer model is considered useful.

  • Robot system development consists of several sub-tasks such as layout design, motion planing, and sensor programming etc. In general, on-line programming and debugging for such tasks demands burdensome time and labor costs, which motivates an off-line graphic simulation system. MSRS(Microsoft Robotics Studio) released in recent years is an appropriate tool for the graphic simulation system since it supports CCR(Concurrency and Coordination Runtime), DSS(Decentralized System Services), and dynamics simulation based on PhysX and graphic animation as well. In this paper, we developed an MSRS based network simulation system for quadruped walking robots, which controls virtual 3D graphic robots existing in remote side through internet.

For implement this, we use a design data that converted data which made by use a CAD for Laser RP(Rapid Prototyping) progress into C coding for simulator programming. Using OpenGL, an API of graphic, it has a efficiency and detail of graphic operation. To make and test animation data, it has the option of save and resume in animation.

  • We have developed software for the SMFD that utilizes a range of graphic design tools. These tools enable us to effortlessly create graphic elements by defining their attributes, such as position and motion. Subsequently, we can convert these designs into source code and execute the resulting software on the target system, leveraging the graphic engines provided by the tools. However, when it comes to developing the displaying software for the SMFD using multiple graphic design tools on a single system, we face various challenges. In this paper, we will delve into these challenges and propose solutions for developing the displaying software for SMFD based on heterogeneous display design tools.
