지문 워터마킹을 활용한 진술조서 간소화 시스템 (Reference statements using the fingerprint watermarking simplify system)

  • 사건 및 사고로 다수의 피해자 또는 참고인들은 경찰서를 방문하고 진술 조서를 작성한다. 진술 조서 과정 중오기 또는 오타로 인하여 수정이 요청 되었을 때 수정 부분을 수정한 후 지문을 이용하여 수정되었음을 인정하는 불필요한 단계 과정에서 불편함과 위생적 문제점을 해결하고, 경찰의 내 수사 단계에서 진술조서 작성 시 KICS와 전자 수사자료표 시스템을 연동한 지문인식기 도입으로 원터치 신원 확인 및 간인 날인 절차를 간소화 할 수 있다.

  • 제안한 논문은 기 체험 여행자가 SNS를 통하여 남긴 정보를 바탕으로, 첫째, 제안한 지능형 투어리즘을 통하여 SNS로부터 다양한 여행자 정보를 수집하며, 둘째, 체험예정자에게 맞는 스케줄 정보를 제공함으로써 기 체험자의 정보를 기준으로 수정 또는 적용할 수 있게 하고. 셋째, 위와 같은 서비스를 바탕으로 체험예정자가 직접 투어리즘 스케줄링을 등록 및 수정할 수 있는 가상 투어리즘 설계를 목적으로 한다. 따라서, 본 논문을 통하여 기체험자와 체험예정자간의 매칭 과정을 통하여 신뢰가 기반된 투어리즘 서비스를 제공함으로써 투어의 만족도를 최대화할 수 있는 효과를 얻게 한다.

동력용 배전 변압기의 최대부하 예측 개선 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Peak Load Prediction for Molter-use Distribution Transformer)

  • The contracted electric power and the demand factor of customers are used to predict the peak load in distribution transformers. The conventional demand factor was determined more than ten years ago. The contracted electric power and power demand have been increased. Therefore, we need to prepare the novel demand factor that appropriates at present. In this paper, we modify the demand factor to improve the peak load prediction of distribution transformers. To modify the demand factor, we utilize the 169 data acquisition devices for sample distribution transformers. The peak load currents were measured by the case studies using the actual load data, through which we verified that the proposed demand factors were correct than the conventional factors. A newly demand factor will be used to predict the peak load of distribution transformers.

  • Logistics optimization problems related with vehicle routing such as warehouse locating, track scheduling, customer order delivery, wastage pickup etc. are very interesting and important issues to date. Many Vehicle Routing and Scheduling Systems (VRSS) have been developed/proposed to optimize the logistics problems. But majority of them are dedicated to a particular problem and are unable to handle the real world spatial data directly. The system developed for one problem may not be suitable for others due to inter-problem constraint variations. The constraints may include geographical, environmental and road traffic nature of the working region along with other constraints related with the problem. So the developer always needs to modify the original routing algorithm in order to fulfill the purpose. In our study, we propose a general-purpose platform by combining GIS road map and Database Management System (DBMS), so that VRSS can interact with real world spatial data directly to solve different kinds of vehicle routing problems. Using the features of our developed system, the developer can frequently modify the existing algorithm or create a new one to serve the purpose.

  • In the field of material science, the interests and efforts to modify the surface of materials in agreement with the need of usage have been extensively increasing. he modification to improve the wettability of surface is very important is terms of adhesion, printing, etc. It is very difficult to modify metal surface into hydrophilic one. therefore, surfactant coating has been generally used in many cases. However, surfactant has disadvantages such as environmental problem, soluble in water. in this study, hydrophilic polymer films as alternative of surfactant were deposited on metal substrate by DC plasma polymerization. Hydrophilic polymer films deposited by DC plasma show many merits such as good wettability, stone adhesion to substrate, high resistance to most chemicals. Monomer gas and reactive gas were used as source plasma polymerization. Plasma polymerized films were fabricated with process parameters of deposition time, ratio of gas mixture, current, pressure, etc. Effects of these variables on wettability of plasma polymer films will be discussed. With XPS and FT-IR analyses of plasma polymeric films, the relation between wettability and chemical state of polymer films by DC plasma was investigated.

An Adaptive and Real-Time System for the Analysis and Design of Underground Constructions

  • Underground constructions continue to provide challenges to Geotechnical Engineers yet they pose the best opportunities for development and deployment of advance technologies for analysis, design and construction. The reason for this is that, by virtue of the nature of underground constructions, more data and information on ground characteristics and response become available as the construction progresses. However, due to several barriers, these data and information are rarely, if ever, utilized to modify and improve project design and construction during the construction stage. To enable the use of evolving realtime data and information, and adaptively modify and improve design and construction, the paper presents an analysis and design system, called AMADEUS, for underground projects. AMADEUS stands for Adaptive, real-time and geologic Mapping, Analysis and Design of Underground Space. AMADEUS relies on recent advances in IT (Information Technology), particularly in digital imaging, data management, visualization and computation to significantly improve analysis, design and construction of underground projects. Using IT and remote sensors, real-time data on geology and excavation response are gathered during the construction using non-intrusive techniques which do not require expensive and time-consuming monitoring. The real-time data are then used to update geological and geomechanical models of the excavation, and to determine the optimal, construction sequences and stages, and structural support. Virtual environment (VE) systems are employed to allow virtual walk-throughs inside an excavation, observe geologic conditions, perform virtual construction operations, and investigate stability of the excavation via computer simulation to steer the next stages of construction.

  • For several years, graduate students and faculty of the Engineering Systems Research Center at U.C., Berkeley have been studying new methods of planning and scheduling in a computer integrated manufacturing environment, with particular emphasis on large scale integrated circuit fabrication. One part of this work, focusing on short interval scheduling, uses simulation models as a primary research tool. We have built two versions of the same basic model (programmed in C) to study two different problems (one deals with machine down time and the other with setup times). These have proven to be efficient for studying particular problems, but are difficult and time consuming to modify. We are convinced that our research will be more effective: (1) if it were easier to build special purpose models tailored to the research question at hand; and (2) if we had better interfaces to graphics output. Commercially available factory simulators are inadequate for this research for a variety of reasons. Existing packages such as SIMKIT, SLAM, SIMAN and EXCELL have their own weaknesses. Typically, they are hard to develop and to modify. They do not allow for adding new dispatching decisions or release decision. Also, it is hard to add more machines to existing environment or change the route the product flows. For these various reasons, we had developed a new simulation package having flexibility and modularity. In this paper, based on experiences gained in the application of object oriented programming, we discuss unique features of the simulator developed in OOPS and ways to take advantage of features in developing and using manufacturing simulation software written in the OOPS

  • Friction stir welding(FSW) was developed as a new solid state welding technique by The Welding Institute (TWI). On the basis of FSW, a new processing technique, friction stir processing (FSP), has recently been developed. FSP has been applied to cast aluminum alloy to modify the microstructure to enhance mechanical characteristic. FSP is a new solid state processing technique for microstructural modification in metallic materials. FSP has been applied to aluminum alloy to modify the microstructure to enhance mechanical characteristic. In this study, we investigated optimum condition friction stir processing with the evaluation of mechanical characteristic for 5456-H116 Al alloy. The mechanical characteristics of base metal similar with in 15 mm/min, 250 RPM with full screw probe. This condition is concluded that optimum friction stir processing condition. The result of this investigation will be able to application for repair of welding part for aluminum ship.

영재학급 학생들이 What-If-Not 전략을 사용하여 만든 변형 루미큐브 게임 사례 분석 (The case analysis of Rummikub game redeveloped by gifted class using What-If-Not strategy)

  • 영재들에게는 교과서에서 요구하는 문제 만들기 수준을 넘어 생활 주변에서 경험하는 다양한 수학적 소재들을 창의적으로 재구성해보는 경험이, 영재 지도 교사에게는 그 학생들의 사고를 이해하고 후속적인 지도를 위한 교훈과 반성이 필요하다. 본 연구는 영재학급 학생들에게 문제 만들기 전략 활용 수업의 가능성을 확인하고, What-If-Not 전략을 배우고 난 영재학생들이 루미큐브라는 보드게임을 자신이 알고 있는 수학적인 요소에 맞게 변형해 본 다양한 사례들을 분석한다. 그 결과물을 교육과정의 내용(주제)별로 제시하고 변형 루미큐브 만들기 수업의 교육적 가치와 영재들을 위한 교육적 시사점을 제안하였다.
