Modified- Tribar의 수리특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Hydraulic Characteristics of Wave Dissipating Modified- Tribar)

  • Specially shaped concrete blocks are used for the armor layer of rubble structure for breakers, seawalls, or other shore protection work. In this study, the hydraulic characteristics of the Modified-Tribar(MTB), which addresses the shortcomings of the Arch-Tribar, and the most widely used Tetrapod(TTP) in Korea are examined through hydraulic model tests. The MTB are much more stable than the TTP, as shown through the stability model tests under non-breaking and non-overtopping condition. The value of the stability coefficient(KD) was obtained at around 30. The model tests show that the TTP random two layers and MTB uniform 1.5 layers have similar effects, but the MTB one layer shows slightly low effects in dissipating wave energy. The TTP random two layer model is the most effective in reducing wave overtopping rate, under overtopping condition, while the MTB uniform one layer and the MTB uniform 1.5 layer models follow respectively.

가스터빈 연소기에서 화염의 위치를 고려한 열음향 해석 (Thermoacoustic Analysis Considering Flame Location in a Gas Turbine Combustor)

  • Authors' previous works on thermoacoustic(TA) model development showed good results in predicting combustion instability characteristics in a gas turbine combustor. However, they also suggested there were some limitations in growth rate estimation, which might be related with over-simplification of flame structure. As a first trial for improving the model accuracy, the current paper introduces the modified TA model considering the actual flame location in the combustor. The combustor is divided into the unburned and the burned area before and after the flame location, and then acoustic equations are re-organized. The modified TA model results show a better accuracy in predicting the growth rate of instabilities comparing with the previous results. However, obtained results still overestimate the conditions where the combustor goes unstable. Further researches considering heat release distribution through flames are required.

저속시 선체에 작용하는 유체력 수학모형 정립을 위한 모형시험 방안 연구 (A Study on the Model Test Scheme for Establishing the Mathematical Model of Hydrodynamic Force and Moment Acting on a Slowly Moving Ship)

  • The mathematical models of hydrodynamic force and moment acting on a ship at low speed range should be established differently from the ones at nominal cruising speed range since a ship moves with large drift angle or rotates in a stationary position. We modified widely used Yoshimura's cross flow model in order to apply the system identification method to estimate parameters in the model. The apparatus and the procedure of free running model test were suggested so that the parameters in the model be estimated. The validity of our proposing modified model and test procedure was confirmed by comparison with the results of simulated model test.

  • "How does advertising affect sales?" is the fundamental issue of modern advertising research. There is an interesting issue for estimating carry over effects of advertising on sales, and the aggregated data biases exist in the duration of advertising effect. This research suggests a modified model at micro-data using Koyck model (Koyck 1954) by estimated model the aggregate data, and empirically shows the aggregated data bias. Our modified model with the aggregated level of actual data is more appropriate than the base model for micro-data. The result shows that it is very important to consider the disaggregated data level in the analysis of dynamic effects of adverting such as lagged effects.

수막두께와 속도를 고려한 도로포장면의 미끄럼저항 예측모델 개발 (A Development of Skid Resistance Prediction Model Considering Water Film Thickness and Vehicle Speed)

  • 도로 포장면과 타이어 사이의 마찰 저항을 미끄럼 저항이라고 한다. 미끄럼 저항은 도로 안전에 매우 중요한 요소이며, 다양한 요인이 복합적으로 작용한다. 미끄럼 저항 측정법의 한계를 극복하기 위해 컴퓨터 모델링을 이용한 해석 수행 결과, 속도가 증가하거나 수막두께가 두꺼울수록 미끄럼 저항은 감소하였다. 해석 결과를 이용해 수막두께와 속도에 따라 수막 위를 주행하는 타이어에 발생하는 양력을 계산할 수 있으며, IFI(International Friction Index) 미끄럼 저항 예측모델과 실측 미끄럼 저항과의 차이를 줄이기 위해 양력을 반영한 수정 IFI 미끄럼 저항 예측모델을 개발하였다. 예측모델과 실측 데이터의 상관관계 분석 결과, 기존 IFI 예측모델의 $R^2$는 0.49로, 수정 IFI 예측모델의 $R^2$는 0.64로 나타나 수정 IFI 예측모델이 기존모델에 비해 예측 효과가 우수하였다. 포장면의 상태에 따른 수막두께를 수정 예측모델에 반영할 경우 더욱 정확한 예측모델을 얻을 수 있을 것이다.

흡착에 의한 석탄암체의 부피변화가 고려된 흡착모델 개선 및 부피변형률 예측 (Development of Volume Modified Sorption Model and Prediction for Volumetric Strain of Coal Matrix)

  • 본 연구에서는 CBM의 1차 생산뿐 아니라 $CO_2$$N_2$ 주입을 통한 ECBM, 혹은 지중저장을 목적으로 석탄층에 $CO_2$를 주입할 때 발생할 수 있는 암체의 부피변화 영향을 고려하여 기존의 Langmuir 흡착 관계식을 개선하였다. 본 모델의 검증을 위해 $CO_2$$CH_4$, $N_2$의 단일성분 흡착실험 데이터에 기존 Langmuir 모델값과 본 모델의 결과값을 비교하였다. 그 결과, 기존 모델에서는 흡착용량이 큰 석탄일수록, 흡착친화도가 큰 가스일수록 실험값과 모델값 사이의 오차가 커지는 경향이 나타났지만 본 모델에서는 모든 조건에서 실험결과를 잘 묘사하였고 본 모델을 통해 예측한 부피변형률 역시 실험값과 유사함을 확인하였다. 이렇게 개선된 단일성분 흡착모델을 혼합가스의 흡착모델인 IAS 모델에 적용하여 부피변화가 고려된 IAS모델로 개선하였다. 그 결과 혼합가스에 대한 흡착거동 역시 기존 모델에 비해 정확도를 높였고 이는 Hall 등(1994)이 수행한 혼합가스의 흡착실험결과와의 매칭을 통해 확인하였다.

  • The hybrid CAE/CAT methods are widely applied to product development in various fields because this method can predict the response of the whole system when a part of the system is changed. Especially, the hybrid CAE/CAT method is very useful to predict tile vehicle NVH characteristics after changing some parts of the vehicle. Target parts can be established on the basis of test models and FE models of the prototype constructed in the planning stage of car development. In this study, the topic was focused on the proper test-based FBS application process to predict vehicle NVH characteristic. First, the test-based FBS method was apply to vehicle substructure and car-body. And then the test-based model was replaced with FE model to apply hybrid CAE/CAT method. The replaced FE model was modified through the optimization process. The interior noise in vehicle during the drive was predicted with Modified FE model, then the predicted results were verified by experimenting with actual modified model.

혼합모델 조립라인의 생산순서 결정을 위한 유전알고리듬 (Genetic Algorithms for Mixed Model Assembly Line Sequencing)

  • This paper considers the genetic algorithms(GAs) for the mixed model assembly line sequencing(MMALS) in which the objective is to minimize the overall line length. To apply the GAs to the MMALS, the representation, selection, genetic sequencing operators, and genetic parameters are studied. Especially, the existing sequencing binary operators such as partially map crossover(PMX), cycle crossover(CX), and order crossover (OX) are modified to be suitable for the MMALS, and a new sequencing binary operator called immediate successor relationship crossover (ISR) is introduced. These binary operators mentioned above and/or unary operators such as swap, insertion, inversion, displacement, and splice are compared to find operators which work well in the MMALS. Experimental results indicate that 1) among the binary operators ISR operator is the best, followed by the modified OX, and the modified PMX, with the modified CX being the worst, 2) among the unary operators inversion operator is the best, followed by displacement, swap, and insertion, with splice being the worst, and 3) in general, the unary operators perform better than the binary operators for the MMALS.

Rosin변성 phenol수지의 분자량 변화에 따른 평판인쇄 잉크의 물성변화에 관한 연구 (The Effect of Changing Molecular Weight of Rosin Modified Phenol Resin on Physical Properties of Litho Printing Inks)

  • Litho printing ink vehicles based on rosin modified phenolic are faster drying, have better durability, are harder and glosser and have greater resistance to water than ones based on ester gums. Ink-Water balance and rheological properties are important in litho printing process. These physical properties is concerned with molecular weight of Resin to use vehicle. So this paper was studied about the effects of changing molecular weight of Rosin modified phenolic on surface tension, viscosity, pseudoplasticity and printability of Litho Inks. The results were as follows. 1) The surface tension of model inks depended on the molecular \veight of the resin : Dispersion componnent of ink increase but non dispersion component decrease as molecular weight of Resin increase. 2) Water pick-up of litho ink is more fast balance, using low molecular weight of Resin. 3) Viscosity, Yield value and Newtonian value of model inks increase as molecular weight of Resin increase. 4) The litho ink prepared with the modified phenolic of which molecular weight is about 20000 showed the highest printing density and gloss.

  • 2000년 이후 국지성 호우로 인한 지역별 홍수량의 차이가 현저히 많이 나고 있다. 때문에 유역 내 주요시설물 및 인명피해를 줄이기 위해서는 유역의 특성을 최대한 반영한 홍수 분석이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 충주댐 유역의 실측 강우량 및 유입량 자료를 이용하여 단위도를 유도하였다. 단위도 산정 방법은 강우자료의 모의기능을 추가한 Modified Clark 방법을 이용하였다. 단위도 관련 직접유출의 형태를 결정하는 주요 매개변수는 도달시간 $T_c$와 저류상수 K에 의하여 결정되며, 홍수량 산정 시 가장 중요한 매개변수라고 할 수 있다. 충주댐 유역의 2002년부터 2007년까지의 강우자료 중 대표 강우사상을 분리하여 강우사상별 매개변수를 추정하였다. 추정 결과 강우 사상별 형태에 따라 매개변수가 다르게 나타났다. 이는 강우의 패턴에 따라 댐에 유입되는 매개변수가 다르기 때문인 것으로 보인다.
