  • In order to predict failure behavior of advanced high-strength steel sheets (AHSS) in hole expansion tests, damage model was developed considering surface condition sensitivity (with specimens prepared by milling and punching: 340R, TRIP590, TWIP940). To account for the micro-damage initiation and evolution as well as macro-crack formation, the stress triaxiality dependent fracture criterion and rate-dependent hardening and ultimate softening behavior were characterized by performing numerical simulations and experiments for the simple tension and V-notch tests. The developed damage model and the characterized mechanical property were incorporated into the FE program ABAQUS/Explicit to perform hole expansion simulations, which showed good agreement with experiments.

엔드밀을 활용한 홀 가공 시 표면거칠기 예측에 관한 연구 (Prediction of Surface Roughness in Hole Machining Using an Endmill)

  • Helical machining is an efficient method for machining holes using an endmill. In this study, a surface roughness prediction model was constructed for improving the productivity of hole machining. Experiments were conducted to form holes by the helical machining of AL6061-T4 aluminum sheets and correlation analysis was performed to examine the relationships between the variables based on the measured results. Meanwhile, a regression analysis technique was used to construct and evaluate the prediction model. Through these analyses, the parameter which has the greatest influence on the surface roughness when the hole is formed by the helical machining is the feed, followed by the number of revolutions of the endmill. Moreover, for the axial feed of the endmill, it was concluded that the influence of the surface roughness is small compared to the other two parameters but it is a factor worth considering to improve the accuracy when constructing the predictive model.

DME 커먼레일 시스템을 위한 인젝터 분사 유량 개선 (Injection Flow Rate Improvement of Injectors for DME Common-rail Systems)

  • In this study, injection flow rates and material of the solenoid sealing of the injectors were improved for the development of a di-methyl Ether(DME) common-rail system. To deliver the same amount of energy provided by injection pressure of diesel $P_{inj}$ = 160 MPa, the DME injectors need to have larger diameter of nozzle hole and more No. of hole at low injection pressure of $P_{inj}$ = 40~50 MPa. The simplified nozzle flow model, which takes account of nozzle geometry and injection condition, was employed in order to design the concept of a injector nozzle such as No. of hole, diameter of hole and diameter of needle seat, etc. Injection amount and rate were tested by diesel and DME test stand. As a result, the diameter of nozzle hole were enlarged by 0.25 mm. The diameter of the orifice in the high pressure line was increased by 1.0 mm to maintain hydraulic force in the nozzle. The material of the solenoid sealing was changed to HNBR, which was strong against the corrosive. Experimental results showed that the injection amount of the DME injector drastically increased by 191.9% comparison to that of diesel at $P_{inj}$ = 40 MPa.

구조적 공백과 협업필터링을 이용한 추천시스템 (Recommender Systems using Structural Hole and Collaborative Filtering)

  • 본 연구에서는 사회연결망분석기법 중 하나인 구조적 공백 분석 결과를 이용하여 추천과정에 사용자의 정성적이고 감성적인 정보를 반영할 수 있는 협업필터링 기반의 추천시스템을 제안한다. 협업필터링은 추천기술 중 가장 많이 활용되고 있지만 전통적으로 확장성과 희박성 등의 문제점뿐 만 아니라 사용자-상품 매트릭스의 선호도만을 이용하여 추천을 함으로써 사용자의 정성적이고 감성적인 정보를 추천과정에 반영하지 못한다는 한계점이 있다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 추천시스템은 사회연결망분석에서 중심성 분석과 함께 연결망 내의 주요개체를 탐지할 수 있는 구조적 공백 분석을 이용하여 연결망 내의 대표 사용자들을 추출한 후 이들을 중심으로 군집을 형성한 후 각 군집색인 협업필터링을 수행하는 과정을 통해 전통적인 협업필터링에서 반영하지 못했던 정성적, 감성적 정보를 반영한다. 한편, 군집색인 협업필터링을 수행함으로써 추천의 효율성을 높일 수 있는 장점도 있다. 본 연구에서는 실제 사용자들의 상품에 대한 선호도 평가점수와 사용자들의 사회연결망 정보를 수집하여 실험을 수행하고 전통적인 협업필터링과 다양한 형태의 협업필터링과의 추천성과 비교를 통하여 제안하는 시스템의 유용성을 확인한다. 비교모형으로는 전통적인 협업필터링, 임의 군집색인 기반 협업필터링, k평균 군집색인 기반 협업필터링을 이용한 추천시스템이며, 실험 결과, 제안한 모형이 다른 비교모형에 비해 추천성과의 정확도가 가장 우수하였다. 추천성과의 차이에 대한 통계적 유의성 검정 결과, 제안 모형은 전통적인 협업필터링 기반의 추천시스템과는 통계적으로 유의한 성과 차이가 없었으나, 다른 두 모형에 대해서는 통계적으로 유의한 성과의 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

공내수 전기전도도의 자동측정시스템 구축을 위한 실험 (An Experiment for determining Electrical Conductivity in Modelholes using Continuous Measurement System)

  • 모형시추공 내에서 공내수 전기전도도의 자동 측정시스템을 구축하고 이로부터 수리상수 결정과 관련된 제반 기초 환경을 검증하였다. 실험은 상대적으로 높은 염도를 공내수로 하고 증류수를 지층수로 사용하여 지층수의 유입과 유출되는 유량을 일정하게 유지한 상태에서 공내수의 전기전도도 프로파일을 구하는 방식으로 이루어졌다. 관찰의 주 대상은 공내수와 지층수 사이의 염도차. 온도차 및 지층수의 유입량. 유입 ·유출구에 따른 모형시추공 내에서의 전기전도도 변화 양상 파악에 있었다. 실헌결과, 이들 요인이 미치는 영향범위와 적정 측정 환경이 제시되어 향후 모델 실험 및 원위치시험에서 적용될 기초실험 여건이 마련되었다.

  • A perforated shear connector group is commonly used to transfer shear in steel-concrete composite structures when the traditional shear stud connection is not strong enough. The multi-hole perforated shear connector demonstrates a more complicated behavior than the single connector. The internal force distribution in a specific multi-hole perforated shear connector group has not been thoroughly studied. This study focuses on the load-carrying capacity and shear force distribution of multi-hole perforated shear connectors in steel-concrete composite structures. ANSYS is used to develop a three-dimensional finite element model to simulate the behavior of multi-hole perforated connectors. Material and geometric nonlinearities are considered in the model to identify the failure modes, ultimate strength, and load-slip behavior of the connection. A three-layer model is introduced and a closed-form solution for the shear force distribution is developed to facilitate design calculations. The shear force distribution curve of the multi-hole shear connector is catenary, and the efficiency coefficient must be considered in different limit states.

결함을 가지는 모델을 이용한 허브 홀 확장에서의 파단 예측 (Prediction of fracture in hub-hole expansion with a defected-edge model)

  • The hub hole is usually formed with a stretch flanging process followed by a blanking process of a hole. Since the hole is made by blanking, the blanked surface is so rough that the formability in the region is rather poor. The emerging task is to identify the formability of the blanked region in the forming simulation and to relate the criterion to the real forming process by experiments. In this paper, the blanked region of a hole surface is modeled by a defected-edge finite element for stretch flanging simulation. The analysis deals with the level of defect in the blanked region in order to identify the formability in the real process. The analysis provides the formability depending on the level of defect and seeks the way to match the level of defect to that of the real surface. The approach makes the analysis possible to deal with the formability of the high strength steel and predict the fracture at the hole surface during the stretch flanging simulation.

저 NOx 응축형 가스보일러 개발에 관한 연구(I) -원통형 다공 예혼합 연소기 설계- (A Study on the Development of Low NOx Condensing Gas Boiler(I) -Design of Cylindrical Multi-Hole Premixed Burner-)

  • This paper describes a design study of the cylindrical multi-hole premixed burner to be used for condensing gas boiler which can raise performance and reduce NOx emission. In this study, specifications of the multi-hole burner (hole diameters and arrangement) are investigated using model flat burners in terms of flame stability, and combustion characteristics for stability and NOx emission are examined for cylindrical multi-hole burner. As a result, the equivalence ratio for optimum operation condition of the cylindrical burner is around 0.72(0.7∼0.75). In this condition, turn-down ratio becomes 3 : 1 at least which is suitable for proportional control. The NOx and CO emission is less than 40ppm and 25ppm(0$_2$0% basis), respectively. This burner can be applied LPG as well as NG because there is no difference for stable combustion region.

태양열 공기가열기의 흡열판 홀 배치와 형상에 따른 열적 성능에 관한 수치해석적 연구 (A Numerical Study on the Thermal Performance of a Solar Air Heater Depending on the Hole Configuration and Geometry in the Absorber Plate)

  • A series of numerical analyses was conducted to predict the thermal performance of a solar air heater depending on the hole configuration and geometry in the absorber plate. The planar dimensions of the prototype were 1 m (W) by 1.6 m (H), and the maximum air flow considered was $187m^3/h$. It was considered that protruding holes with a triangular opening in the absorber plate would invoke turbulence in the air flow to enhance the convection heat transfer. Six different hole configurations were investigated and compared with each other, while the hole opening height was considered as a design variable. Three-dimensional transient analyses were performed with a commercial software package on the airflow and heat transfer in the model. The numerical results were analyzed and compared from the view point of the outlet air temperature and its time response to derive the optimal hole pattern and hole opening height.

EMBODIMENT OF THE CORRECT DEPTH-CUE IN STEREOSCOPY

  • Pin-hole model has been widely used as a robust tool for easily understanding how to obtain a stereo image and how to present the depth-cue to an observer in stereoscopy. However, most of the processes to analyze depth cue in stereoscopy are performed that a stereo image is taken by camera model practically but depth cue of the image is analyzed by pin-hole model. Therefore, the result of depth cues by the process to be uncorrected. The reason of the uncorrected depth cue is led to the image distances of camera model due to variable focused object distances, and it makes a depth distortion. In this paper, we tried to show the contradiction such as occurring depth distortion in the process which the pin-hole model is used to analyze depth cue despite practical camera model is used in stereoscopy, and we presents the method to overcome the contradiction.
