  • In the paper, we proposed the systematical and quantitative software risk management methodology based on risk analysis model. A software risk management consists of the basic risk management method(BRIMM) and the detailed risk management method(DRIMM). BRIMM is applied to unimportant phases or the phase which also the risk factor does not heavily influence to project. DRIMM is used from the phase which influences highly in project success or the phase where the risk factor is many. Fulfilling risk management combined two methods, we can reduce project's budget, term and resource's usage, and prevent risk with the optimum measures obtained by the exact risk analysis.

  • Technology acceptance model(TAM) has been widely used to predict the end-user's acceptance of a new IT/IS. We used TAM as a theoretical foundation to explain user's intention to use an Internet shopping mall. The theoretical model is tested with the questionnaires from 308 users of an Internet shopping mall. Results show that several individual characteristics such as Internet skills and self-efficacy have a significant impact on user's perception of usefulness and ease of use. Results also show that both perceived enjoyment and perceived usefulness of Internet shopping mall strongly predict intention to use the Internet shopping mall. However, perceived ease of use has no direct influence on intention to use the Internet shopping mall. Personal innovativeness and Internet skills also have a positive effect on perceived enjoyment. Therefore, Internet shopping mall managers have to consider intrinsic motivational factor(enjoyment) as well as extrinsic motivational factor(usefulness). In addition, individual characteristics should be emphasized to form the positive beliefs about using the Internet shopping mall.

  • The objective of this work was to simulate lead frame etching characteristics to optimize the etching process, Characteristics such as the etching factor and uniformity were investigated for different actual operating conditions, including pressure, distance from the nozzle tip, pipe pitch, and feed speed. The correlation between the etching and spray characteristics was analyzed to develop the etching model. Spray characteristics obtained from an experiment using a phase Doppler anemometer system were then simulated using a Monte-Carlo technique, The etching process model was coded in the Java language, The spray and etching characteristics were correlated with each other and simulated results agreed well with the measured data for a lead frame etching process, The optimal operating parameters under various conditions were successfully determined.

  • Recently, micro forming process technology have been developed since the size of machine parts become the crucial factor for minimizing of products in general electronic products. Most small machine parts consist of gear and rotation axis and the wear by mechanical contact is known as the primary factor for life reduction of high precision machine part. Lots of studies for mechanical wear and friction have been reported and many researches of MEMS technology have been studied recently. But just few studies for wear of micro or milli sized machine part have teen implemented. In this research, the wear equation is suggested according to the contact shape of axial part in micro or milli sized machine part. And wear analysis model which can predict the magnitude of wear through this suggested equation with numerical analysis program.

  • Traditionally, the statistical methods has been used to analyze the relationship between landslide occurrence and related factors(soil depth, soil strength, slope angle, vegetation, etc.) in GIS technique. However, the method have no mechanical meaning. Therefore, the mechanical model is suggested in this research. The method analyzes the mechanical equilibrium of a potential slide block and then calculates a slope safety factor. Since this method is able to consider the balance of forces applied to the slope and is a more reasonable method for an individual site. In this research, the spatial data is obtained, managed and analyzed using GIS technique, and the infinite slope model is used to evaluate factor of safety and analyze the slope stability.

  • As many organizations are searching for ways to compete more effectively in today's market environment. Image of Product is become the most important fact to improve their competition. The objectives of this paper are to provide an overview of PDM(Purchasing Decision Factor) and to discuss how to measure it more efficiently. This study develops a conceptual 'relation model of the purchasing decision factor', which identifies only performance based measurement, and proposes Fuzzy Measuring Method which uses the Fuzzy rule based algorithm to adept survey to date sets.

  • This paper describes an attempt to develop a unified design approach for reinforced concrete short beam failing in shear based on a Arch Factor. Designing for short beam in shear is not as straightforward as designing for flexure due to the complicated interdependency of the variables involved and to the nonexistence of a rational theory tn current design code. Shear failure of reinforced concrete beams with stirrups is influenced greatly because of the actual geometrical shape(a/d) of the concrete and flexural reinforcement steel ratio, stirrup reinforcement ratio and concrete compression strength, size effect etc. The objective of this paper is to present a pilot study to develop a simplified physical model for estimating shear behavior of reinforced concrete short beams. The Key idea incorporated with this model is the Arch factor, introduced by Kim and White.

  • This paper deals with the stress singularity developed in a polymer layer that is coated to a concrete surface, due to temperature change. The boundary element method is employed to investigate the behavior of interface stresses. The polymeric layer is assumed to be a linear viscoelastic material, and is thermorheologically simple. The order of the singularity is obtained, numerically, for a given viscoelastic model. Numerical results exhibit the relaxation of interface stresses, and large gradients are observed in the vicinity of the free surface. Results show that the stress singularity factor is relaxed with time, while the order of the singularity increases with time for the viscoelastic model.

  • Various statistical methods for assessment of equivalence in average bioavailabilities have been developed under the assumption that the intra-subject variabilities for the test and reference formulations are the same. Without the assumption, assessing the equivalence in average bioavailabilites does not imply that the two formulations are therapeutically equivalent and exchangeable. The most commonly used test procedure for equality of variabilites in 2$\times$2 crossover experiment is the so called Pitman-Morgan's adjusted F test based on the model without carryover effects (Chow and Liu(1992)). In this paper, a Bayesian method based on the Intrinsic Bayes Factor is proposed, which can be applied to the model with carryover effects.

  • We present a three-dimensional average flow model considering elastic deformation of pad asperities for chemical mechanical planarization. To consider the contact deformation of pad asperities in the calculation of the flow factor, three-dimensional contact analysis of a semi-infinite solid based on the use of influence functions is conducted from computer generated three dimensional roughness data. The average Reynolds equation and the boundary condition of both force and momentum balance are used to investigate the effect of pad roughness and external pressure conditions on film thickness and wafer position angle.
