In existing internet, e-mail protocols including POP3 and IMAP4, provide e-mail services for exchanging messages with texts, hypertext and images as well. For the e-mail services in wireless mobile network, mobile e-mail service Providers have to install a mobile exclusive e-mail server or have to convert e-mail to mobile exclusive e-mail with wireless application format in case of POP3 protocol. In the e-mail service of IMAP4 case known as web-mail, It is difficult to view e-mail directly from server without IMAP4 mobile client because e-mail is stored in mail server side with remote file server. In either case, it also has the problems of viewing the e-mail of hypertext and image information at mobile, This Paper Provides e-mail extraction engine with image and hypertext conversion facilities that can be applied in wireless mobile internet and it is optimized In mobile communication environments such as a small display, small size of memory with web-mail protocol based on IMAP4 as well as POP3 mail protocol.
To support the mobility, mobile computers are generally equipped with lower capability than desktop PCs or workstations in terms of the size of a display, the processing power of CPU and so on. This may give a rise to limitation in mobile computers of supporting multimedia services such as World Wide Web which users would otherwise fully enjoy in desktop PCs. Approaches to reducing the limitations are distillating original multimedia data or converting them to text. Conventional proxy servers for mobile computer simply send distillated image files with the fixed size regardless of the display size of a target mobile computer. Since the cached data is kept separately for each user, they cannot be shared among users with the same display configuration and thus the proxy server could be overloaded. In this paper, we first classify various mobile computers based on their display capability in terms of display sizes and colors. We propose an enhanced proxy server called Class-based proxy that provides a mobile computer with distillated image files in proportion to its class display capacity. The proposed proxy server allows a mobile computer user to have a homepage view similar to that in PC or Workstation. Mobile computers with the same class share the cached image files, which are distillated appropriately for that class. This helps the proxy server to get higher cache hit ratio with improved efficiency and scalability.
An e-business client application in ubiquitous mobile computing environment may become disconnected from the enterprise server due to broken communication connections caused by the limitation of mobile computing environments(limited battery life of the mobile device, low bandwidth communication, incomplete wireless communication infrastructure, etc). It Is even Possible that mobile client application Intentionally operates in disconnected mode to reduce communication cost and the power consumption of the mobile device. We use “data hoarding” as a means of providing local autonomy to allow transactions to be processed and committed on the mobile host despite of disconnection. The key problem to this approach is the synchronization problem that serialize potentially conflicting updates from disconnected clients on master objects of the server database. In this paper, we present a new transaction synchronizing method that splits a transaction into a set of independent component transactions and give the synchronization priority on each component taking the possibility of use and conflicts in the server into consideration. Synchronization is performed component by component based un synchronization priority. After the Preferred component of a no bile transaction succeeds in synchronization with the server, the mobile transaction can pre-commit at server. A pre-committed transaction's updated value is made visible at server before the final commit of the transaction. The synchronization of the component with low synchronization priority can be delayed in adaption to wireless bandwidth and computing resources. As a result, the availability of important data updated by mobile client is increased and it can maximize the utilization of the limited wireless bandwidth and computing resources.
Tn the data transmission service of the mobile host, it is needed to reduce the bandwidth and to make a reliable error recovery. there are two appropriate methods in that. One is FEC which retransmits the parity of error recovery, in case of happening of the loss after forming the parity of error recovery by grouping original data. The other is local recovery based on server which can block the implosion of transmission. The use of FEC and local recovery based on server at the same time enables the reliable multicast. This paper suggests algorithm that recovers the loss by FEC and local recovery based on server through the solution of the problems about triangle routing, tunnel convergence by dividing mobile host into two parts-the sender and the receiver. This model about the loss of algorithm tested the efficiency of performance by the homogeneous independent loss, the heterogeneous independent loss, the shared source link loss model. The suggested algorithm confirms effectiveness in the environment where there are much data and many receivers in mobile host.
This study attempts at building an integrated GIS computing framework for evaluating space-time accessibility of an individual with the approach of time geography model. The proposed method is based on the integration of mobile GIS and object-relational spatio-temporal database. Three components are central to our system: ( i ) mobile GIS application that transmits spatio-temporal trajectory data of an individual; ( ii ) spatio-temporal database server that incorporates the time geography model; and (iii) geovisualization client that provides time geographic queries to the spatio-temporal database. As for the mobile GIS application, spatio-temporal trajectory data collected by GPS-PDA client is automatically transmitted to the database server through mobile data management middleware. The spatio-temporal database server implemented by extending a generic DBMS provides spatio-temporal objects, functions and query languages. The geovisualization client illustrates 3D visual results of the queries about space-time path. space-time prism and space-time accessibility. This study shows a method of integrating mobile GIS and DBMS for time geography application, and presents an appropriate spatio-temporal data model for evaluating space-time accessibility of an individual.
We consider a mobile content delivery network (mCDN) in which special mobile devices designated as caching servers (caching-server device: CSD) can provide mobile stations with popular contents on demand via device-to-device (D2D) communication links. On the assumption that mobile CSD's are randomly distributed by a Poisson point process (PPP), an optimization problem is formulated to determine the probability of storing the individual content in each server in a manner that minimizes the average caching failure rate. Further, we present a low-complexity search algorithm, optimum dual-solution searching algorithm (ODSA), for solving this optimization problem. We demonstrate that the proposed ODSA takes fewer iterations, on the order of O(log N) searches, for caching N contents in the system to find the optimal solution, as compared to the number of iterations in the conventional subgradient method, with an acceptable accuracy in practice. Furthermore, we identify the important characteristics of the optimal caching policies in the mobile environment that would serve as a useful aid in designing the mCDN.

The offloading method is important when there are multiple mobile nodes and multiple edge servers. In the environment, those mobile nodes connect with edge servers with different bandwidths, thus taking different time and energy for offloading tasks. Considering the system load of edge servers and the attributes (the number of instructions, the size of files, deadlines, and so on) of tasks, the energy-aware offloading problem becomes difficult under our mobile edge environment (MCE). Most of the past work mainly offloads tasks by judging where the job consumes less energy. But sometimes, one task needs more energy because the preferred edge servers have been overloaded. Those methods always do not pay attention to the influence of the scheduling on the future tasks. In this paper, first, we try to execute the job locally when the job costs a lower energy consumption executed on the MD. We suppose that every task is submitted to the mobile server which has the highest bandwidth efficiency. Bandwidth efficiency is defined by the sending ratio, the receiving ratio, and their related power consumption. We sort the task in the descending order of the ratio between the energy consumption executed on the mobile server node and on the MD. Then, we give a "suffrage" definition for the energy consumption executed on different mobile servers for offloading tasks. The task selects the mobile server with the largest suffrage. Simulations show that our method reduces the execution time and the related energy consumption, while keeping a lower value in the number of uncompleted tasks.
Purpose: The primary purpose of this study is to examine the influence of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) on the use of mobile money in Indonesia. The acceptance of technology has brought changes to society where the application of technology is aimed at identifying the best solution among the various existing alternatives. There are two types of electronic money: chip-based and server-based electronic money. Server-based electronic money is found on mobile phones. The Indonesian government has encouraged the use of electronic money and launched Less Cash Society to create a secure, efficient, and smooth payment system. Research design, data, and methodology: This study collected quantitative data from users of server-based electronic money through surveys conducted based on the sample size. The data were processed using SEM LISREL 8.70. Results: the results show that each of the TAM's fundamental elements has a significant impact. Perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness are able to encourage attitude toward using and behavioral intention to use towards actual use. Conclusions: The distribution of mobile money has a positive impact on society. Hence, mobile money providers must simplify access-recommendations made to strengthen the acceptance of mobile money via Perceived Ease of Use and Perceived Usefulness.
Recently, in according as rapid improvement of telecommunication markets and wireless internet technology, Location- Based Services (LBS) have been discussed as new 'Killer' application. The purpose of LBS is to determine location of user through mobile handset and to offer location information service to end-user. This paper has suggested an efficient transmission scheme of maps data as one of the important content services relating to data transmission of LBS in mobile environment. The basic system consists of three parts : (1) GIS (Geographic Information System) Server for storing, processing and handling map data, (2) Middleware Server for transmitting of map data by request of client, and (3) Client for requesting map data to Server and displaying them on handset. Also, in order to transmit map data, we are to expand WKB (Well Known Binary) in conformance to Simple Feature Specification of OGC (Open GIS Consortium), and increase efficiency of data transmission by developing trans mission data format to be able to transmit lightweight data and considering data compression technology.

There are several application have been developed on internet-based speech recognition. Internet-based speech recognition is a distributed application and there were various techniques and methods have been using for that purposed. Currently, client-server paradigm was one of the popular technique that been using for client-server communication in web application. However, there is a new paradigm with the same purpose: mobile agent technology. Mobile agent technology has several advantages working on distributed internet-based system. This paper presents, applying mobile agent technology in internet-based speech recognition which based on client-server processing architecture.
