This paper investigates the relationship of service quality and user satisfaction in the wired and mobile Internet services based on the integrative framework of both systems. Given a moderate level of reliability and validity, the commonly driven dimensions for measuring service quality include responsiveness, assurance, empathy, convenience, usefulness, and diversity. User satisfaction is measurable by the dimensions of communication/entertainment, finance/economics, location/geography, and information/consulting. We apply the MANOVA tests to evaluate whether each of the service quality dimensions has an overall influence on user satisfaction. Next, multiple regression analyses are conducted to check if unique positive effect exists between each combination of service quality dimensions and user satisfaction dimensions. The results show that service quality must be taken care of with respect to the assurance dimension in order to enhance customer satisfaction in the dimensions of location/geography, which will contribute to increasing the utilization of mobile service. For improving user satisfaction in the dimension of information/consulting, service quality must be supported with respect to assurance and empathy in the mobile Internet market, in addition to diversity, which is the only significant service quality in the wired Internet service.

This study analyzed the digital divide of Korean senior citizens through the preference for smart media. Targeting two media out of mobile internet and mobile social media, the media dependency ratio and the trend of people in their 20s-60s were verified. Regarding the dependency ratio of young people(20s) and senior citizens(60s), in case of mobile internet, people in their 60s were average 8.6% while people in their 20s were average 38.9%, so that the ratio of senior citizens was lower by 30.3%. In case of social media, people in their 60s were average 1%, which was 7.1% lower than people in their 20s(8.1%). And this divide was the digital divide shown in the informatization process through the trend of internet use of senior citizens in their 60s or up. Thus, as the policy measures for solving the digital divide of senior citizens, it would be required to continuously develop the digital cultural programs for senior citizens, to expansively perform the government subsidiary policies like additionally providing the essential information to senior citizens, and also to expand the smart-based infrastructure for senior citizens' participation in economic activities.

인터넷과 연결되어 있는 하이브리드 애드혹 네트워크가 통신을 하기 위해서는 IP주소의 설정이 필요하다. 기존에 제안된 대부분의 주소 설정방법은 노드를 중심으로 설정을 한다. 노드 중심의 주소 설정 방법은 애드혹 네트워크 내에서 네트워크의 대역폭을 낭비하고 많은 배터리를 소모해서 비효율적이다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷 게이트웨이를 중심으로 한 효율적인 주소설정 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 방법은 노드에서의 주소 설정 패킷을 유니캐스트 방식으로 전송하여 네트워크 트래픽을 줄인다. 또한, 인터넷 게이트웨이의 주소 설정 알고리즘을 통해서 교환하는 패킷의 수를 줄여 배터리 소모를 줄이고 주소설정 시간을 감소시킨다.

There are several application have been developed on internet-based speech recognition. Internet-based speech recognition is a distributed application and there were various techniques and methods have been using for that purposed. Currently, client-server paradigm was one of the popular technique that been using for client-server communication in web application. However, there is a new paradigm with the same purpose: mobile agent technology. Mobile agent technology has several advantages working on distributed internet-based system. This paper presents, applying mobile agent technology in internet-based speech recognition which based on client-server processing architecture.

In recent years, cloud computing services based on smart phones and other mobile terminals have been a rapid development. Cloud computing has the advantages of mass storage capacity and high-speed computing power, and it can meet the needs of different types of users, and under the background, mobile cloud computing (MCC) is now booming. In this paper, we have put forward a new classification-based virtual machine placement (CBVMP) algorithm for MCC, and it aims at improving the efficiency of virtual machine (VM) allocation and the disequilibrium utilization of underlying physical resources in large cloud data center. By simulation experiments based on CloudSim cloud platform, the experimental results show that the new algorithm can improve the efficiency of the VM placement and the utilization rate of underlying physical resources.

청소년들에게 사이버불링은 심각한 위해 요소로 작용하고 있지만 사안의 심각성과 중요성에도 불구하고 학문적인 접근과 시도는 아직 초기 단계이다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 전국 초 중 고등학생 1,112명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 조사 결과 청소년들 사이에 인터넷 불링 가해경험은 유형별로 20.3%에서 39.0%, 피해경험은 11.0%에서 23.4%, 휴대전화 불링 가해경험은 15.9%에서 44.1%, 피해경험은 5.5%에서 21.8%인 것으로 나타났다. 사이버불링 가해 경험에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 인터넷의 경우 성별, 학업스트레스, 인터넷 접근성, 익명성, 인터넷 이용시간 등인 것으로 조사되었다. 휴대전화의 경우에는 학교급별, 학업스트레스, 휴대이동성, 익명적 이용가능성, 휴대전화 이용시간 등이 휴대전화 불링에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 인터넷 불링과 휴대전화 불링과의 관계를 살펴본 결과 인터넷 불링 가 피해 경험과 휴대전화 불링 가 피해 경험은 서로 관련이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 인터넷 불링 가해경험과 휴대전화 불링 가해경험, 인터넷 불링 피해경험과 휴대전화 불링 피해경험은 상당한 관련이 있는 것으로 조사되었다.

급속히 발전하는 인터넷의 활용은 여러 측면에서 긍정적 발전을 가져왔고 삶의 질적인 향상과 생활의 풍요로움을 가져다주었다. 그러나 사이버 공간은 비행이나 폭행 등 부정적 결과를 초래하고 있다. 이는 현실세계에 보다 심각한 사회적 혼란을 야기하고 있다. 본 연구는 모바일 SNS 사용자를 대상으로 인터넷 윤리의 바람직한 방향을 연구하고자 한다. SNS는 경제적 가치는 물론 사회적 파급효과도 적지 않아 특정 문제에 대한 의견 소통의 도구로 이용된다. 사회적 영향력, 개인의 감정요소는 커뮤니티 관계의 요소가 된다. 또한 SNS는 이용자의 정체성과 공공영역에 영향을 미치게 된다. 모바일 SNS 시대에 인터넷 윤리는 모바일 인터넷 사용자들에게 올바른 인터넷 윤리정보를 인식하고 실천하도록 할 것이다.

Wireless mesh networks enlarge the wireless coverage area by interconnecting relatively stationary wireless routers (mesh routers). As wireless mesh networks are envisioned to provide high-bandwidth broadband Internet service to a large community of users, the Internet gateway, which acts as a central point of Internet attachment for the mesh networks, is likely to suffer heavily from the scramble for shared wireless resources because of aggregated traffic toward the Internet. It causes performance decrement on end-to-end transmissions. We propose a scheme to balance the load in a mesh network based on link quality variation to different Internet gateways. Moreover, under the mesh coverage, mobile nodes can move around and connect to nearby mesh routers while still keeping the connections to the Internet through the best gateway in terms of link quality. In this structure, gateways perform the balancing procedure through wired links. Information about gateways and mobile node's location is distributed appropriately so that every mesh router can quickly recognize the best gateway as well as the positions of mobile nodes. This distributed information assists mobile nodes to perform fast handoff. Significant benefits are shown by the performance analysis.

In this paper, we suggest criteria for objective measurement of speech quality in mobile VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) services over wireless mobile internet such as mobile WiMAX networks. This is the case that voice communication service is available under other networks. When mobile VoIP service users in the mobile internet network based on packet call up PSTN and mobile network users, but there have not been relevant quality indexes and quality standards for evaluating speech quality of mobile VoIP. In addition, there are many factors influencing on the speech quality in packet network. Especially, if the degraded speech with packet loss transfers to the other network users through the handover, voice communication quality is significantly deteriorated by the transformation of speech codecs. In this paper, we eventually adopt the Gilbert-Elliot channel model to characterize packet network and assess the voice quality through the objective speech quality method of ITU-T P. 862. 1 MOS-LQO for the various call scenario from mobile VoIP service user to PSTN and mobile network users under various packet loss rates in the transmission channel environments. Our simulation results show that transformation of speech codecs results in the degraded speech quality for different transmission channel environments when mobile VoIP service users call up PSTN and mobile network users.

이 연구는 새로운 대인커뮤니케이션 매체로 자리잡은 인터넷과 이동전화를 면대면 커뮤니케이션과의 관계 속에서 바라보는 ‘매체간 연구’를 시도했다. 즉 이용자들이 처한 면대면 커뮤니케이션 환경과 인터넷과 이동전화의 이용양상은 어떠한 관계를 맺고 있는가를 경험적 자료를 통해 조명해보았다. 온라인조사방법을 통해 수집된 자료를 분석한 결과, 면대면 커뮤니케이션을 회피하는 사람들은 그렇지 않은 사람들이 비해 면대면 커뮤니케이션 네트워크는 물론 인터넷과 이동전화의 이용에 있어서도 작지 않은 차이를 보였다. 즉, 면대면 커뮤니케이션을 회피하는 사람은 그렇지 않은 사람에 비해 면대면 커뮤니케이션 네트워크의 폭이 더욱 제한돼 있으며, 인터넷을 사용하게 된 후 인간관계의 폭이 더욱 심하게 위축된 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한 면대면 커뮤니케이션을 회피하는 사람들은 현실공간의 그것과는 사뭇 다른 새로운 정체성을 사이버공간에서 더욱 적극적으로 실험함으로써 현실에서 충족되지 않는 자신의 욕구를 대리 충족하려 하며, 지신의 인터넷 사용을 자율적으로 통제하지 못하는 ‘강박적 이용’의 양상도 더욱 강하게 표출했고, 이동전화를 통한 현재적 잠재적 커뮤니케이션 네트워크도 더욱 위축돼 있는 것으로 나타났다.
