Design and Implementation of a Mobile-based Evaluation Application for the Residential Performance of Hanok (한옥의 거주성능 평가를 위한 모바일 기반 어플리케이션 설계와 구현)

  • The purpose of this study was to implement a mobile application to evaluate the residential performance of Hanoks anytime and anyplace free of time and space constraints made possible by mobile devices such as smart phones. To effectively evaluate the performance of Hanoks, the mobile application includes architectural information and help functions to ease the usability by the general public. In addition, it is designed to be intuitively understood through the presentation of field photos through empirical cases in line with the functional characteristics of smart phones. To test the functionality of the mobile application, a field evaluation was conducted at the Set-yi-seo Literature Center in Eunpyeong Hanok Village. The findings of this study provide a basis for using smart phone based applications for evaluating buildings such as Hanoks in the future. It can be used as a model for developing future user-friendly performance evaluation applications for public Hanok research and development.

  • This study was attempted to develop education programs through mobile apps to promote breastfeeding for high-risk mothers. The development of mobile apps was carried out in four stages, including analysis, design, implementation and evaluation, by referring to the software development life cycle. The subjects of this study were cesarean delivery mother, premature baby and twin delivery mother, and contents of education included difficulty in breastfeeding by high risk mother. Experts and users evaluated the program and found it appropriate as an educational mobile app. The education through mobile app is not limited by time and space. Therefore, it will help knowledge and continuous practice of breastfeeding by high risk mothers. It is necessary to directly test the effects of applying the breastfeeding app developed in this study.

  • Smart work has been gaining more popularity recently. Smart work means that employees perform their works anytime and anywhere as utilizing the information and communication technology. It can be divided into four categories; the mobile office, the home office, the work-at-center and the tele-cooperation. Among them, the mobile office based on tablet personal computers(PCs) or smart phones, employees can exchange information with tablet PCs or smart phones via mobile radio communication networks and portable terminals. Smart devices such as tablet PCs and smart phones help to access intranet system for requests, approvals, information search whenever employees need. This mobile office system for real-time HSE managing can contribute to improve the productivity and work efficiency in a shipyard. In this study, the main goal is to design the specialized mobile application for the HSE management system on the shipbuilding industry. The mobile application including 10 functions is designed based on ooCBD(object-oriented Component Based Development) methodology.

  • Mobile computing devices are becoming increasingly prevalent in a huge range of physical area, offering a considerable market opportunity. The focus of this paper is on the development of a platform of fault diagnosis system integrating with personal digital assistant (PDA). An improvement of induction machine rotor fault diagnosis based on AI algorithms approach is presented. This network system consists of two parts; condition monitoring and fault diagnosis by using Artificial Intelligence algorithm. LabVIEW allows easy interaction between acquisition instrumentation and operators. Also it can easily integrate AI algorithm. This paper presents a development environment fur intelligent application for PDA. The introduced configuration is a LabVIEW application in PDA module toolkit which is LabVIEW software.

  • 유비쿼터스 사회의 도래로 모바일 비즈니스 서비스 수요의 증대와 다양한 사용자 요구사항 및 변경이 빈번해짐에 따라 소프트웨어의 특성을 적시에 반영할 수 있는 새로운 소프트웨어 개발 기술이 필수적이다. 소프트웨어 프로덕트 라인은 공통의 유사한 기능을 가지고 있는 소프트웨어 제품 혹은 소프트웨어 시스템 집합으로 특정 영역의 시장과 용도의 요구사항에 따라 재사용 가능한 아키텍처 및 컴포넌트를 구성함으로써 생산성과 품질을 향상시킬 수 있다. 특히, 시스템을 분할하고 구조화하여 시스템의 성능과 효율성을 향상시킬 수 있는 소프트웨어 아키텍처 개념이 중요시 되면서 아키텍처의 개발과 평가에 대한 체계적인 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 CBD (Component Based Development)를 기반한 소프트웨어 프로덕트 라인(PLD: Product Line based Development)을 도입하여 모바일 비즈니스 도메인에 적합한 모바일 응용 시스템 아키텍처(MASA: Mobile Application System Architecture)를 제시한다.

A Curriculum for Mobile Programming Education that Includes A Project Completion and It's Implementation Results

  • In recent, android application developments have been done widely that intensify smart phone utilization. In this paper, we propose a curriculum that undergraduate students can improve their mobile programming abilities as well as integrate experiences of application development based on android. And also a series of practices to advance their sense of accomplishment are added by offering an opportunity to carry out a real project to use a variety of sensors embedded in smart phone during the course of study. The project is composed of a series of modules for implementing a trekking App that helpful to people who enjoy spending time in outdoors through their favorite activities such as trekking, cycling, and climbing with their own smart phones. Through practical curriculum operation and project implementation, we show that the proposed curriculum is appropriate to a mobile programming education that combine learning and practice.

  • Including technical device and general information system, the information-technical(IT) system is defined as the technical system for acquiring, processing, storing and transferring information to a person. This paper presents Knowledge-based Heuristic Evolution Model for creating the advanced information-technical system. This Evolution Model is derived from the historical review on definition of evolution, the research on the architecture of the general IT system, history of IT system, technology innovation theory and multi-case study research. The evolution model is applicable to the conceptual creation of the advanced product in R&D organization requiring development methodologies like rapid-prototyping to develop next generation product. For the detailed theoretical construction and practical application of Evolution Model, the case study research based on action research is performed. the object of the case study is mobile device, especially mobile hand-held phone. Thus, we obtain the Evolution Model for creating the advanced information-technical system.

Purpose of this study grasps use factor of LBS application Mobile service, and it is that analyze actual proof through questionnaire to grasp whether some relation is with value and action determination that is felt of LBS application Mobile service. Distributed all question of 190 copies but disk floret inclination did valid data 171 that clear question and omission remove a lot of questions by type of study among questionnaire of collected 182 wealths. Analyzed factor analysis and authoritativeness to search validity and confidence of questionnaire and used single regression analysis and multiple regression analysis for hypothetical verification. According to verification result, Mobile service that apply position base service usefulness and system quality, adaptedness of Mobile service that apply position base service by leading person affecting in use, acted for connection healthy and felt value is important factor immediately. Usability and social effect, felt expense, privacy did not appear by leading person that keep in mind in this study. Is been related with step that Mobile service that apply position base service is placed. That is, as present childhood, a person who have experience that use service to look for friend is few and usability fairly in last in wide application boundary and this very important person was removed finally in model. This study has sense in terms of study systematically about LBS application service use leading person that is getting into the spotlight worldwide among Mobile service that is injured newly.

  • In this paper, the write analysis the application of basic video content of Mobil Device Platform in China and studies the future development scheme. According to the survey, as of 2019, 78% of Chinese total population is the Internet service users and application software users. Mobile Device Platform is independently developed to provide video content application services, which already have 640 million video application users from 2013 to the present. 65% of users install and use more than two video content applications. In China TikTok, Kuai Shou, MeiPai and other video content applications, not only can easily achieve simple user interface and users can directly shoot video content. These production functions is different from YouTube, a famous video platform in the United States. In the video platform market, the core competitiveness is content creation. In the future, the integration of video content of VR, AR and other video projects will expecte to further activate the video platform market.

  • Currently mobile services are on the verge of full commercialization ahead of 5G mobile communication (5G). The first goal could be to preempt the 5G market through realistic media services utilizing VR (Virtual Reality) and AR (Augmented Reality) technologies that users can most easily experience. Basically this movement is based on the advanced development of smart devices and high quality graphics processing computing power of mobile application processors. Accordingly, the importance of mobile GPUs is emerging and the most concern issue becomes a model for predicting the power and performance for smooth operation of high quality mobile contents. In many cases, the performance of mobile GPUs has been introduced in terms of power consumption of mobile GPUs using dynamic voltage and frequency scaling and throttling functions for power consumption and heat management. This paper introduces several studies of mobile GPU performance prediction model with user-friendly methods not like conventional power centric performance prediction models.
