  • Nowadays economic and commercial businesses have been increased because of the Internet. As a result of this, electronic commerce is becoming one of the most Interesting topic of discussion. Electronic commerce is equal to a real market, only the place of business is the imaginary space supported by the Internet. There are a few conditions to consider, making electronic commerce work safely. The electronic commerce should be connected by a substantial system and an on-line Protocol. There are some conditions needed for information security, authentication, and payment by electronic currency etc. Although there are many kinds of existing systems, which create services successfully, further research for security is required. Therefore, this paper suggests an authenticated Agent management, which offers more convenience and security than before. Also, this paper shows many authenticated methods for a management system. An Agent that is one of interesting things to study can handle information problems and works related to electronic commerce.

Inter-space Interaction Issues Impacting Middleware Architecture of Ubiquitous Pervasive Computing

  • We believe that smart spaces, offering pervasive services, will proliferate. However, at present, those islands of smart spaces should be joined seamlessly with each other. As users move about, they will have to roam from one autonomous smart space to another. When they move into the new island of smart space, they should setup their devices and service manually or not have access to the services available in their home spaces. Sometimes, there will conflicts between users when they try to occupy the same space or use a specific device at the same time. It will also be critical to elder people who suffer from Alzheimer or other cognitive impairments when they travel from their smart space to other visited spaces (e.g., grocery stores, museums). Furthermore our experience in building the Gator Tech Smart House reveals to us that home residents generally do not want to lose or be denied all the features or services they have come to expect simply because they move to a new smart space. The seamless inter-space interaction requirements and issues are raised automatically when the ubiquitous pervasive computing system tries to establish the user's service environment by allocating relevant resources after the user moves to a new location where there are no prior settings for the new environment. In this paper, we raise and present several critical inter-space interactions issues impacting middleware architecture design of ubiquitous pervasive computing. We propose requirements for resolving these issues on seamless inter-space operation. We also illustrate our approach and ideas via a service scenario moving around two smart spaces.

  • In order to supply services necessary for users intelligently in the ubiquitous computing, effective filtering of context information is necessary. But studies of context information filtering have not been made much yet. In order for filtering of context information, we can use collaborative filtering being used much at electric commerce, etc. In order to use such collaborative filtering method in the filtering of ubiquitous computing environment, we must solve such problems as first rater problem, sparsity problem, stored data problem and etc. In this study, in order to solve such problems, the researcher proposes the collaborative filtering method using types of context information. And as the result of applying this filtering method to MAUCA, the P2P mobile agent system, the researcher could confirm the average result of 7.7% in the aspect of service supporting function.

Neuro-Fuzzy Controller Based on Reinforcement Learning (강화 학습에 기반한 뉴로-퍼지 제어기)

  • In this paper, we propose a new neuro-fuzzy controller based on reinforcement learning. The proposed system is composed of neuro-fuzzy controller which decides the behaviors of an agent, and dynamic recurrent neural networks(DRNNs) which criticise the result of the behaviors. Neuro-fuzzy controller is learned by reinforcement learning. Also, DRNNs are evolved by genetic algorithms and make internal reinforcement signal based on external reinforcement signal from environments and internal states. This output(internal reinforcement signal) is used as a teaching signal of neuro-fuzzy controller and keeps the controller on learning. The proposed system will be applied to controller optimization and adaptation with unknown environment. In order to verifY the effectiveness of the proposed system, it is applied to collision avoidance of an autonomous mobile robot on computer simulation.

Obstacle Avoidance Method for Multi-Agent Robots Using IR Sensor and Image Information (IR 센서와 영상정보를 이용한 다 개체 로봇의 장애물 회피 방법)

  • This paper presents obstacle avoidance method for scout robot or industrial robot in unknown environment by using IR sensor and vision system. In the proposed method, robots share the information where the obstacles are located in real-time, thus the robots can choose the best path for obstacle avoidance. Using IR sensor and vision system, multiple robots efficiently evade the obstacles by the proposed cooperation method. No landmark is used at wall or floor in experiment environment. The obstacles don't have specific color or shape. To get the information of the obstacle, vision system extracts the obstacle coordinate by using an image labeling method. The information obtained by IR sensor is about the obstacle range and the locomotion direction to decide the optimal path for avoiding obstacle. The experiment was conducted in $7m{\times}7m$ indoor environment with two-wheeled mobile robots. It is shown that multiple robots efficiently move along the optimal path in cooperation with each other in the space where obstacles are located.

  • Distributed Systems can be defined as set of computing resources connected by computer network. One of the most significant techniques in optimization problem domains is parallel genetic algorithms, which are based on distributed systems. Since the status of dynamic network environments such as Internet and mobile computing. can be changed continually, it must not be efficient on the dynamic environments to solve an optimization problem using previous parallel genetic algorithms themselves. In this paper, we propose the effective technique, in which the parallel genetic algorithm can be used efficiently on the dynamic network environments.

  • The CORBA provides a object-oriented middleware that lets applications extend their range across networks, languages, component boundaries, and operating systems. Java can provide a potable object that works in any operating system. Mapping Java into CORBA helps large scale information system operate through the Web by using the mobile code property of Java and object component technique of CORBA. This development environment is called the Object Web. This paper proposes an architecture of OSI network management with a CORBA manager using Object Web and an CORBA/CMIS gateway which apply a CMIS-level gateway model to gateway. In this architecture, CORBA manager is based on Object Web and can manage MOs in the OSI domain. The gateway has a role to translate CORBA IDLs into CMIS services and vice versa. In addition, an OSI agent is abstracted into a CORBA agent.

  • The smartphone allows learners to be involved in learning environments in which students actively study from anywhere and at anytime. Because learners can keep engaged in the environment where they can access to the internet, they can efficiently study in transit using various features and functions of smartphone. Smart learning is a unique learning based on mobility and functions of mobile digital devices including searching and sharing information and using various applications. For the effective use of smartphones in e-learning systems, the contents and learning management systems should be designed to meet effective teaching and learning principles, such as interactivity and collaborations. In smart learning, learning contents for effective learning need to be integrated with typical functions of smartphones and to develop small pieces of learning contents according to learning topics. In the case of learning management systems, it should reflect understanding of learners' environment using a PA agent program and provide personalized learning services.

  • Security has become one of the major concerns in mobile adhoc networks (MANETs). Data and voice communication amongst roaming battlefield entities (such as platoon of soldiers, inter-battlefield tanks and military aircrafts) served by MANETs throw several challenges. It requires complex securing strategy to address threats such as unauthorized network access, man in the middle attacks, denial of service etc., to provide highly reliable communication amongst the nodes. Intrusion Detection and Prevention System (IDPS) undoubtedly is a crucial ingredient to address these threats. IDPS in MANET is managed by Command Control Communication and Intelligence (C3I) system. It consists of networked computers in the tactical battle area that facilitates comprehensive situation awareness by the commanders for timely and optimum decision-making. Key issue in such IDPS mechanism is lack of Smart Learning Engine. We propose a novel behavioral based "Smart Multi-Instance Multi-Label Intrusion Detection and Prevention System (MIML-IDPS)" that follows a distributed and centralized architecture to support a Robust C3I System. This protocol is deployed in a virtually clustered non-uniform network topology with dynamic election of several virtual head nodes acting as a client Intrusion Detection agent connected to a centralized server IDPS located at Command and Control Center. Distributed virtual client nodes serve as the intelligent decision processing unit and centralized IDPS server act as a Smart MIML decision making unit. Simulation and experimental analysis shows the proposed protocol exhibits computational intelligence with counter attacks, efficient memory utilization, classification accuracy and decision convergence in securing C3I System in a Tactical Battlefield environment.

Off-Line Electronic Payment Scheme using Smart Cards (스마트 카드를 사용한 오프 -라인 전자 지불 기법)

  • 에이전트 기반 이동 컴퓨팅 환경에서 전자 상거래를 구현하기 위해 가장 필요로 하는 것은 안전한 지불 구조를 제공하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 불확정 전송 기법 1,2 을 사용한 비대화형 엔티티 인증 기법과 Horster 기법 4,5 을 기반으로 메시지 복원 기능을 제공하는 공정 은닉 서명 기법을 제시한다. 또한 이를 직접 Brands가 제시한 오프-라인 전자 지불 시스템 3,6 에 접목한다. 인증 단계가 비대화형으로 수행되므로 이동 엔티티 인증에 효율적이고, 메시지 복원 기능을 갖고 공개 검증 기능을 제공하는 은닉 서명을 적용하기 때문에 카운터 방식을 사용한 스마트 카드 기반 전자 지불 시스템 6 에 효과적으로 적용할 수 있었다. 전자 화폐에 대해서 신뢰 센터에 의한 공정성 검토 기능을 추가로 제공하므로 전자 지불 시스템의 신뢰성을 향상시킬 수 있다.Abstract The primary requirements for realizing the electronic commerce in agent based mobile computing environments are to implement the compatible secure payment framework. In this paper, we propose both the non-interactive entity authentication scheme that is combined with oblivious transfer protocol 1,2 and the message recovery fair blind signature based on Horster scheme 4,5 . And these techniques are directly applied to the Brand's off-line electronic payment system 3,6 . As the authentication processes are done by non-interactive manner, we can also get efficiency for mobile entity authentication. Additionally, as the used signature scheme provides a message recovery function with publicly verifiable properties, it is efficiently applicable to a counter based off-line electronic payment scheme 6 based on the additional device like smart card. Therefore, we can enhance the reliability of proposed electronic payment system based on the publicly verifiable fairness in its electronic cash by a trusted judge.
