무선 인터넷의 환경으로 접어들면서 이동 장치를 통해 정보에 접근하는 비중이 늘고 있다. 이동 사용자는 이동기기의 특성상 장소와 시간에 국한되지 않고 데이터제공을 받을 수 있지만 서비스를 위해 장시간 접속할 경우에는 낮은 대역폭, 제한된 처리속도, 낮은 배터리용량, 잦은 무선통신망의 연결오류등과 같은 이동기기가 갖는 단점으로 인해 문제점들이 생겨날 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이동에이전트를 사용하여 사용자가 연결을 유지하지 않고도 서비스를 받을 수 있는 지능적 서비스 에이전트 시스템을 제안하고, 자바 이동 에이전트기술을 이용하여 개발하였다. 이 시스템을 통해 사용자가 이동기기를 통해 서비스를 요청할 경우 처리가 완료된 시점에 다시 연결이 이루어져서 보다 효과적으로 결과를 받아볼 수 있음을 보여주었으며, 새로운 서비스를 서버에 동적으로 추가하여 관리할 수 있음을 보여주었다.

The medical industries are integrated with information technology with mobile devices and wireless communication. The advent of mobile healthcare systems can benefit patients and hospitals, by not only providing better quality of patient care, but also by reducing administrative and medical costs for both patients and hospitals. Security issues present an interesting research topic in wireless and pervasive healthcare networks. As information technology is developed, many organizations such as government agencies, public institutions, and corporations have employed an information system to enhance the efficiency of their work processes. For the past few years, healthcare organizations throughout the world have been adopting health information systems (HIS) based on the wireless network infrastructure. As a part of the wireless network, a mobile agent has been employed at a large scale in hospitals due to its outstanding mobility. Several vulnerabilities and security requirements related to mobile devices should be considered in implementing mobile services in the hospital environment. Secure authentication and protocols with a mobile agent for applying ubiquitous sensor networks in a healthcare system environment is proposed and analyzed in this paper.

본 논문에서는 IPSec(IP Security) 환경에서 이동 에이전트 시스템을 이용한 보안정책 협상모델을 설계하고자 한다. 기존의 IP 보안 시스템들은 약간의 문제점들이 있다. 각 보안영역과 구현환경에 따라 각기 다른 보안정책을 내부적으로 정의하여 사용하고 있다. 이로 인하여 패킷 전송시 보안 영역간 정책 요구사항이 서로 달라 패킷이 목적지까지 전달되지 않을 수도 있고, 패킷이 양방향으로 같은 경로를 따라 전송되고 같은 정책으로 보호되는지 보장할 수 없는 문제점을 내포하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제들을 이동 에이전트를 이용하여 해결할 수 있는 모델을 설계하였다. 각각의 보안 영역별로 보안정책의 협상이 필요하다면, 이동 에이전트는 보안정책 협상결과를 패스포트 형태로 관리하고, 이 패스포트를 이용하여 서로간의 인증 및 신뢰성을 보증해 준다.

이동 에이전트가 연속적으로 다근 노드로 이주될 때 총 작업수행 시간은 방문해야할 순서에 따라 변경될 수 있다. 효율적인 이주 알고리즘은 초기 상태에서 목적 상태로 수행되기 위해 최소한 수행 시간을 제공하는 수행 순서를 의미하며, 이동 에이전트의 효율적인 이주 알고리즘을 통해 개발자가 원하는 작업의 총 수행 시간을 최소화시킬 수 있다. 기존의 대표적인 이동 에이전트인 Aglets, Voyager, Odyssey 등은 이주할 때 네트워크 상태와 이주할 노드의 상태를 고려하지 못함으로써 효율적인 이주를 보장할 수 없다. 본 논문은 이동 에이전트에서 효율적인 이주를 위해 AMIS를 제안한다. AMIS는 이동 에이전트의 총 이주 시간을 최소화하며, 안전하고 견고한 이주를 위해 최단 수행 순서를 제공한다.

최근 인터넷 환경 속에서 네트워크와 관련된 많은 기술들이 연구되어 왔다. 이 중 네트워크 기반에서 적용할 주문형태의 기능을 제공하는 방법으로 이동 에이전트에 대한 연구가 폭넓은 관심을 가지게 되었다. 그러나 유해 침입에 대한 잠재성, 정보 유출과 같은 자원의 악용, 그리고 다른 여러 가지 보안상의 문제들로 인해 커다란 장애를 받고 있다. 그래서 이동 에이전트는 획기적인 패러다임으로 여기고 있으나 보안상 많은 취약점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이동 에이전트 시스템과 그 자체에 대한 보안을 강화시킬 수 있는 방법으로 보안 정책 데이터베이스를 가지고 에이전트 코드를 분할하고 합병하는 기술로 이동에이전트의 취약점을 해결하기 위한 방안을 제시할 수 있는 강하고 안전한 이동 에이전트 시스템의 게이트웨이 설계를 제안하였다.

본 논문에서는 이동 에이전트가 작동할 수 있는 환경을 제공하는 이동 에이전트 스스템(Mobile Agent System )을 설계 및 구현하였다. 이동 에이전트 시스템은 자바 언너를 기반으로 하여금 구현하였으며. OMG의 MAF(Mobile Agent Facility) 표준에 따라 구현하여 CORBA분산환경에서의 상호 운용성을 제공한다. 개발한 이동 에이전트 시스템을 이용하여 CORBA기본 서비스 중에 하나인 명명 서비스를 실현하였다.

A mobile agent system that searches for meaningful information from web XML documents is developed. For this, a domain information was conceptualized and a universal DTD generator is developed. A mobile agent with the universal DTD is dispatched to remote sites, extracts meaning information, and transmits the information back to a host. This way of information filtering is able to enhance the quality of information and reduce the network transmission overhead.

Mobile agent technology has been the subject of much attention in the last few years, mainly due to the proliferation of distributed software technologies combined with the distributed AI research field. In this paper, we present a design of communication networks of agents that cooperate with each other for forwarding messages to the specific mobile agent in order to make the overall system location transparent. In order to make the material accessible to general intelligent system researchers, we present the general ideas abstractly in terms of the graph theory. In particular, a proxy network is defined as a directed acyclic graph satisfying some structural conditions. In turns out that the definition ensures some kind of reliability of the network, in the sense that as long as at most one proxy agent is abnormal, there agent exists a communication path, from every proxy agent to the target agent, without passing through the abnormal proxy. As the basis for the implementation of this scheme, an appropriate initial proxy network is specified and the dynamic nature of the network is represented by a set of graph transformation rules. It is shown that those rules are sound, in the sense that all graphs created from the initial proxy network by zero or more applications of the rules are guaranteed to be proxy networks. Finally, we will discuss some implementation issues.

As Information society evolves, there is a growing need that substitutes agents for users to do the given Jobs in distributed computing environments. Agents can retrieve and browse the diverse information via Internet, as the users request, and can deal with the complicated routine jobs on behalf of users with timeliness and efficiency. Especially, mobile agent can support the paradigm for distributed application programs in Internet environments. This is suitable to jump-to-jump model without any hesitations because agent moves. Agents can be applied to various applications, but we restrict it to market information retrieval in this paper. On recognizing a query about merchandise information by an user, agent by itself retrieves the corresponding information by navigating the Internet and informs the result to the user. In this paper, we review the mobile agent configuration to do this kind of work, propose the system architecture based on this review. By using this system, users can be free from complicated routine jobs and pursue his/her wishes to promote ones welfare.

본 논문에서는 기존의 이동사업자가 독점한 무선인터넷 시장에서 이동사업자의 메뉴에서 정보를 획득하는 방식과 달리, 5개 이동사업자 식별에 의한 유·무선 인터넷 통합서버를 이용한 무선학사관리 시스템의 구축방법으로 학생이 자신의 휴대전화에서 학교의 URL을 직접 접속하면 합격자 조회, 수강신청조회, 성적조회, 입시관련 정보 및 공지사항 보기 등이 가능하다.
