  • In terms of the vehicle efficiency, a fuel cell hybrid system has advantages compared to a conventional internal combustion engine and a fuel cell alone-powered system. The efficiency of the fuel cell hybrid vehicle mainly depends on the maximum power of the fuel cell and therefore it is important to decide the design value of the fuel cell maximum power. In this paper, to estimate the performance of the fuel cell hybrid mini-bus in the design phase the simulator based on the models for the fuel cell stack, the electric battery, the fuel cell balance of plant, the controller, and the vehicle itself is proposed. Additionally, the hybrid mini-bus efficiencies with several different fuel cell powers are simulated for a city driving schedule and are compared on another. Consequently, the proposed simulation scheme is useful to determine the best design value of the fuel cell hybrid vehicles.

  • In this paper, We discuss the directional stability of a Mini-bus with varying suspension design parameters. We analyzed the vehicle behavior during the cornering in a transient steering condition. We made a vehicle model by use of DADS, which is dynamic analysis software, in order to carry out many cases of simulation with varying design parameters. The effect of toe-geometry change to vehicle stability is evaluated by computer simulation and the actual test. In order to reduce the under steer characteristics of a mini-bus, the amount of toe geometry change should be less than current value.

  • In this paper,a network interface unit of token-passing bus network and its driving software are implemented based on Mini-MAP. This network interface unit performs the function of MAC layer which is responsible for transmission and reception of frames as well as the management of logical ring. The driving software performs the management of data buffer and the report of errors, if ocoured, to the higher layer. Motorola MC68824 of is used as a TBC(Token Bus Controller) and Intel80186 as a CPU for network interface unit. The operation of network interface unit is verified by self-test which checks the functioning of TBC and CPU. In addition each module of driving software is tested to check the functions regarding transmission and reception of frames.

  • A leaf spring plays an important role in a passenger bus. Since characteristic of a leaf spring has a hysteresis behaviour, modeling technique for a leaf spring is an important issue for passenger bus analysis. In this paper, modeling technique for a leaf spring is presented. First, non-linear FEM model of a leaf spring is constructed then it is used to make an approximated model to be used in dynamic analysis. The modeling procedure is ex-plained in step by step approach. Then, this model is applied to dynamic analysis of a mini-bus with flexible body and non-linear dynamic force element. The results are compared with test data.

  • Automation of production in modern manufacturing is based on the integration of the various stage of production process by means of processing system. Information processing and network interface are of fundamental importance in programmable device in industrial automation, as they essential in order to active integration in production lines. In this paper, TBC(token bus controller) in the Mini-MAP board performs the function of the MAC sublayer, The LLC sublayer is implemented according to the specification of Class 3 that includes Type 1 and 3. And the MMS services are designed within the scope of implementation MAP 3.0 All the softwares are implemented under the real time executive for real time application of the Mini-MAP and they are loaded into PROMs at the network board. We tested the LLC functions to make use of a protocol analyzer for the token bus protocol. Also the MMS conformance test was carried out by exchanging primitives between a model system(including NIU) and a MMS product that had already passed the conformance the conformance test based on measurement method of network analysis.

  • In this paper, the Mini-MAP network interface units are implemented for the IBM PC, general purpose, PLC, and robot respectively. The token bus controller, MC68824 is used to realize the IEEE 802.4. A protocol for the message exchanges between some automated devices called MMS is implemented where 76 services of total 86 MMS services are included.

  • Integration of intelligent robot workcell is now a hot issue in CIM and robotics area. This piper dealt with relatively low-level essential topics, i.e., multi-robot coordination and real-time communication for the integration of intelligent robot workcell. For the coordination of multi-robot system, the tightly-coupled coordination is proposed using the various sensors. In order to handle the numerous communication data, time-critical communication network (Field-bus) is introduced and investigated. Finally, intelligent robot workcell is suggested using the Mini-MAP and Field-bus.

  • 본 고는 Mini-MAP 네트워크의 접속장치를 구현한 내용이다. 이 접속장치는 공장자동화 네트워크 시스팀에서 Mini-MAP 노드로 동작하며, PLC, CNC, robot와 같은 프로그래머블 디바이스를 MAP 네트워크 환경에 접속하여 원격제어가 가능하도록 하는 네트워크 구축을 위한 핵심 장치이다. 이 접속장치는 MAP 3.0의 Mini-MAP으로 구현하고 실현하였다. MAC 부계층은 Token Bus Controller(TBC)가 담당하며, LLC 부계층은 class 3로 설계하였고, MMS는 implementaton class MAP3를 설계하였다. 구현된 모든 소프트웨어는 Mini-MAP의 실시간 정보 전송 성능을 보증하기 위해 real-time 멀티 태스크 OS로 운영하도록 설계하였으며, 보드에 firmware로 탑재하였다. 프로토콜 분석기를 이용하여 LLC 수준의 오류검출과 전송기능을 확인하였으며, MMS는 적합성 시험을 이미 받은 MMS를 탑재한 상용 제품과의 통신 실험을 통해 적합성을 확인하였다.

  • This study was initiated to evaluate the cooling performance of CAC (charged air cooler) and radiator in the engine room of a mini bus. So we had firstly to predict the mass flow rate coming from radiator grille and front bum per opening using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation based on 3D configuration. And simulations were carried out for different cooling module layout and bum per opening hole size on sam e vehicle operating condition. Simulation results show that CAC cooling performance at reverse protecting plate-applying model was much efficient than that of the bum per opening hole size-increasing model in IMTD point of view. Part of the CFD simulation results was com pared to with experimental data. It was confirm ed that the CFD approach using STAR-CD based on pursuing no-com promise solution could provide design engineers with useful design information in the early design stage of vehicle development.

A Study on Moving Fitness and Slit Length in Relation to Length & Silhouette of Tight Skirt (타이트 스커트 실루엣 및 길이에 따른 동작적합성과 트임길이에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the moving fitness and slit length of tight skirt in relation to its length & silhouette. Five kinds of length, micro mini, mini, natural line, medi and maxi, and two kinds of siihuette, slim & straight-a total of ten tight skirts-were investigated. Ten college students were chosen for this experiment. The moving fitness was tested by measuring the step length, step width and step angle in the case of walking on the flat and going up the stairway & bus stair. The slit length was tested by measuring the back slit length needed in the case of going up stairway & bus stair. Data were analyzed with use of SAS pakage. The statistics were based on average, standard diviation, two-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation and multiple regression analysis. The main results were as follows. 1. There was significant difference in the moving fitness according to length & silhouette of tight skirt. The moving fitness of slim type was lower than that of straight type and the longer the skirt length was, the lower the moving fitness was. The significance appeared particularly in the case of going up the bus stair. 2. There was significant difference in the skirt length obove slit accorting to length & silhouette of tight skirt. The skirt length obove slit of slim type was shorter than that of straight type. The longer skirt length was, the longer it was from micro mini to natural line, that of medi skirt was shorter or a little longer than that of natural line skirt and there was little change from medi skirt to maxi skirt.
