Closed Walk Ferry Route Design for Wireless Sensor Networks

  • Message ferry is a controllable mobile node with large capacity and rechargeable energy to collect information from the sensors to the sink in wireless sensor networks. In the existing works, route of the message ferry is often designed from the solutions of the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) and its variants. In such solutions, the ferry route is often a simple cycle, which starts from the sink, access all the sensors exactly once and moves back to the sink. In this paper, we consider a different case, where the ferry route is a closed walk that contains more than one simple cycle. This problem is defined as the Closed Walk Ferry Route Design (CWFRD) problem in this paper, which is an optimization problem aiming to minimize the average weighted delay. The CWFRD problem is proved to be NP-hard, and the Integer Linear Programming (ILP) formulation is given. Furthermore, a heuristic scheme, namely the Initialization-Split-Optimization (ISO) scheme is proposed to construct closed walk routes for the ferry. The experimental results show that the ISO algorithm proposed in this paper can effectively reduce the average weighted delay compared to the existing simple cycle based scheme.

A Fault-Tolerant Scheme Based on Message Passing for Mission-Critical Computers (임무지향 컴퓨터를 위한 메시지패싱 고장감내 기법)

  • Fault tolerance is a crucial design for a mission-critical computer such as engagement control computer that has to maintain its operation for long mission time. In recent years, software fault-tolerant design is becoming important in terms of cost-effectiveness and high-efficiency. In this paper, we propose MPCMCC which is a model-based software component to implement fault tolerance in mission-critical computers. MPCMCC is a fault tolerance design that synchronizes shared data between two computers by using the one-way message-passing scheme which is easy to use and more stable than the shared memory scheme. In addition, MPCMCC can be easily reused for future work by employing the model based development methodology. We verified the functions of the software component and analyzed its performance in the simulation environment by using two mission-critical computers. The results show that MPCMCC is a suitable software component for fault tolerance in mission-critical computers.

  • In this paper, concerning the various advertising and policy advertising of the election with respect to whether to deliver a message to a large number of people, we design and implement an automative system what enables sending the text messages directly from the server to the client and also fast feedback is enabled by utilizing a number of operational programs to connect to the server. Therefore, we design and implement the automative communication system which enables delivering message to each user mobile terminal from a plurality of relay mobile terminals by utilizing the mobile instant messenger, not to deliver a message from the server to the mobile instant messenger user directly. In result of comparative analysis on the number of times of data transmission, this automative communication system utilizing mobile instant messenger shows the result that it enables transmitting five times per minute as it can copy and paste in the automation system regardless of the size of the data loading, otherwise in case of transmitting manually it show the result that the number of times of data transmission is reduced if the size of the data is larger.

  • This study conducted to analyze the difference of perceived benefits, psychological well-being, exercise application attachment, and perceived exercise achievement according to the message frame provided in the mobile fitness game. Repeated Measure Design and Playtest methodologies were used for this research. As a result, when gain messages were shown, all factors were higher than the case of showing loss message. The results of this study emphasize that when persuasion messages need to be presented through a health functional game, gain messages can be more effectively delivered to the users of health functional game than loss messages.

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the connectivity between the preference of architectural buildings and automobile companies as the most widely used background images for automobile advertisements. Based on the familiarity of the brand, the complexity of the message, and the novelty of the advertisement, this research is discovered with preferred images of automobile companies as well as the connectivity by analyzing architectural buildings emerging with various background images of automobile advertisements. After analyzing all three elements for the advertising communication, the conclusions through case investigations of nine automobile companies are the below. Firstly, the familiarity of the brand from nine automobile companies was high ranked satisfaction scores after questionnaire surveys. Secondly, all the aspects for the space, formative, material, height, and utilization related to the complexity of the message are not only matched the preferred images which automobile companies persue but the same preferred design elements after reviewing the most preferred and next most preferred images from the companies. Lastly, the methods for emphasizing the automobile itself which is related to the novelty of the advertisement simplify background images along with preferred artificial structures.

Impacts of scarcity message on impulse buying of fashion products in mobile shopping malls (모바일 패션제품 구매에서 희소성 메시지가 충동구매행동에 미치는 영향)

  • Impulse buying occurs when consumers feel an urge to impulsively buy a product without thoughtful consideration of why and for what reason they need the product. However, few efforts have been made to identify the impacts of perceived scarcity on the impulse buying of fashion products in mobile shopping malls. This study's objectives were to estimate, using structural equation model analysis, the impact of a scarcity message on browsing, feeling the urge to buy, and impulse buying of fashion products on mobile shopping malls. Data was collected from 206 customers who experienced to impulse buying fashion products via objective sampling. Structural equation modeling was used to test the hypotheses developed for the study. Results found evident effects of the scarcity message on the impulse buying of fashion products directly and indirectly. Additionally, consumers felt the urge to buy had a significant impact on the impulse buying of fashion products, whereas browsing had little impact on the impulse buying of fashion products. This is an expanded study to examine structural equation modeling of impulse buying of fashion products on mobile shopping malls. These results will contribute to a better understanding of the mechanisms that underlie the operation of an effective scarcity strategy for fashion products on mobile shopping malls.

  • This study has recently been issued to businesses and consumers who examined the effects of cross-advertising model. Experimental design, the model type (2) ${\times}$ sexuality products (2) ${\times}$ advertising message appeal form (2) is a factorial design. The results are as follows. First, the advertising model, based on the type of cognitive response to advertising than the general model of cross-recall index was higher model. Second, the product of gender identity in response to what the advertising product for women than men was higher index of product recalls. Third, the ad attention model ANOVA results for each type of message, the main effect of appeal type was identified. In addition, the type and model of sexual identity, and message appeal type in the type of model interaction effects were found. Finally, the model-product analysis of goodness of fit, the model type and sexual identity and appeal type messages of main effect were identified. The result is more efficient advertising effect model strategies for promoting meaningful results, it is meant to be confirmed.

  • Drivers need lots of information when they drive on the highway, however it is necessary and important to be provided information which is appropriate formation. In order to offer the suitable information, adequate size, quantity, and frequency of provided information are required for the drivers. To evaluate propriety of the expressed message of VMS that provides real-time traffic conditions, first of all, the amount of message about legibility distance and viewing should be estimated. In this research, drivers' characteristics of VMS message design were also reviewed to enhance the efficiency of VMS. And legibility distance, the amount of viewing information, and ratio of viewing information were analyzed on the currently operating VMS. The results of this study proposed that the appropriate size, quantity, and frequency were concluded by the legibility and memory of message on the real driving conditions. Consequently, these design methods of VMS could be expected to improve the transmitting capability of highway information to drivers.

Create of ICMP message is managed by “Traceback Agent” mirroring port for router. Victim's systems that are received the message store it and “Traceback Manager” is detect a attack(like a DDoS). Using a information of this message starting a traceback and detecting a source of attacker, so response a attack.

  • These days, Rehabilitation psychology analysis system is being used by world wide web in everyday's life. And on the other hand, we are facing spam messages' problems. To block these spam message, we are using filtering or pricing systems. But these solutions are raising other problems such as impediment in reception or availability caused by false positive or payment resistance. To solve these problems, we propose an Indirect Model on Message Control System(IMMCS) which controls an unsolicited message and prevents an useful message from discarding. We design and implement the IMMCS to enhance the usefulness and the availability. Being tested the IMMCS to verify the usability and the efficiency, it gave us a very successful result.
