A Study on the Promotional Media Strategy of Non-face-to-face and Martial Arts Events

  • 본 연구는 코로나 팬데믹 시대의 '비대면 홍보·미디어 전략과 방안'을 세계무예마스터십을 중심으로 살펴보고, 이를 다른 스포츠 이벤트에 적용할 수 있는 이론적 기초로 제시하고자 했다. 이를 위해 기존에 열린 1·2회 무예마스터십의 홍보·미디어 전략을 유형별로 나누어 내용분석하고 향후 3회 대회를 준비하는 세계무예마스터십위원회(WMC)의 국내외 홍보·미디어 기획 담당자들을 대상으로 심층인터뷰를 진행했다. 연구결과 대회 홍보·미디어의 직접적 차원인 '온라인(Online) 무예대회 개최와 언택트(Untact) 컨벤션 플랫폼, 거점 무예 교육시설 건립'은 예산만 뒷받침 된다면 성공적인 수행이 가능하며, 간접적 차원인 '무예 브랜드화, 대중화, 산업화'는 아이디어와 실행인력만 충분하면 코로나 팬데믹 시대를 극복할 새로운 방안이 될 수 있을 것으로 나타났다. IT강국의 저력과 충북 무예 인프라가 결합된다면 메가 스포츠 이벤트를 준비하는 지역 자치단체들은 '비대면-K스포츠'란 새로운 모델을 개척할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • As electronic word of mouth plays an important role in purchase behavior among consumers, the number of studies on the impact of electronic word of mouth is rapidly increasing. Nevertheless, it is difficult to discover comparative studies on the mass media which had a great impact on consumer's purchase behavior before the impact of electronic word of mouth becomes greater versus the social media where electronic words of mouth are created and distributed. It is considered that it seems to be necessary to find an appropriate mutual supplement point between the media designed for a successful marketing by comparing and analyzing the existing mass media versus the social media, major media for electronic word of mouth. Therefore, this study aims to compare and analyze the impact of comments on movie revenue in the representative forms of mass media such as online news and social media blogs. In particular, this study also considers an appropriate media for promoting movies by period by comparing and analyzing the two media before and after film release. For analysis, this study collects the information on the number of comments on online news and blogs in 70 Korean movies released in 2011 and 2012 from five weeks before film release to eight weeks after film release on a daily basis via Naver. This study also collects the information on the movie revenue using the statistical data of movie industry from Korean Film Commission. As a result of empirical data analysis, it is found that the two media showed no difference in movie revenue before film release, but after film release, the impact of blogs was more significant than that of online news.

여성 정치인 이미지 전략으로서의 패션 활용 (Utilization of fashion as the image strategy of female politicians)

  • As mass media has come to intervene with politics in a more proactive way during modern times, the image of a politician has evolved into a more relevant factor compared with political content. This phenomenon is known as "image politics", and such externalized images as non-verbal cues have grown in importance, along with the numbers of female politicians. Thus image strategy has been instituted as a major research theme in the field of political marketing, especially for female politicians. In accordance with this theme, this study aims to approach fashion as part of image strategy of female politicians, in order to reemphasize political fashion as a valuable resource. The methodologies employed in this study are based on both the literature and positive research. Female politicians have long utilized fashion styles that are, or are assumed to be, the most appealing to their target base of support in a predominantly male-centered sector. In this sense, appropriate choices in the usage of apparel items, colors, hair styles, accessories, and others according to each situation and respective hierarchies are of the utmost importance. When attending official ceremonies and other related meetings, the strategic superiority afforded to a scientific approach based on thorough fashion research, compared with personal taste is imperative. The significance of this study lies within the recognition of the importance of fashion image, and how to utilize fashion for image strategy in practice, through the investigative synthesis and review of major preceding research.

A Study on NaverZ's Metaverse Platform Scaling Strategy

  • We look at the rocket life stages of NaverZ's metaverse platform scaling and investigate the ignition and scale-up stage of its metaverse platform brand, Zepeto based on the Rocket Model (RM). The results are derived as follows: Firstly, NaverZ shows the event strategy by collaborating with K-pops, the piggybacking strategy by utilizing other SNSs, and the VIP strategy by investing in game and entertainment content genres in the 'attract' function. In the second 'match' function, based on the matching rule of Zepeto, the users can generate their own characters and "World" with Zepeto Studio. However, for strengthening the matching quality, NaverZ is investing in the artificial intelligence (AI) based companies consistently. In the 'connect' function, NaverZ's maximization of the positive interaction is possible by inducing feed activities in Zepeto & other SNSs and by uploading attractive content for viral effects in the ignition. For facilitating this, NaverZ expands the scale to other continents like Southeast Asia and Middle East with the localization strategy inclusive investment. Lastly, in the 'transact' function, based on three monetization experiments like Coin & ZEM, user generated content (UGC) fee, and advertising revenue in the ignition, NaverZ starts to invest in NFT platforms and abroad blockchain companies.

Simulation of Contaminant Draining Strategy with User Participation in Water Distribution Networks

  • A contamination event occurring in water distribution networks (WDNs) needs to be handled with the appropriate mitigation strategy to protect public health safety and ensure water supply service continuation. Typically the mitigation phase consists of contaminant sensing, public warning, network inspection, and recovery. After the contaminant source has been detected and treated, contaminants still exist in the network, and the contaminated water should be flushed out. The recovery period is critical to remove any lingering contaminant in a rapid and non-detrimental manner. The contaminant flushing can be done in several ways. Conventionally, the opening of hydrants is applied to drain the contaminant out of the system. Relying on advanced information and communication technology (ICT) on WDN management, warning and information can be distributed fast through electronic media. Water utilities can inform their customers to participate in the contaminant flushing by opening and closing their house faucets to drain the contaminated water. The household draining strategy consists of determining sectors and timeslots of the WDN users based on hydraulic simulation. The number of sectors should be controlled to maintain sufficient pressure for faucet draining. The draining timeslot is determined through hydraulic simulation to identify the draining time required for each sector. The effectiveness of the strategy is evaluated using three measurements, such as Wasted Water (WW), Flushing Duration (FD), and Pipe Erosion (PE). The optimal draining strategy (i.e., group and timeslot allocation) in the WDN can be determined by minimizing the measures.

고밀도 유기식 배양에서 글루코스 공급 방법이 Serratia marcescens의 균체량에 미치는 영향 (Effect of glucose Feeding Strategy on Biomass of Serratia marcescens in High Density Fed-Batch Fermentation)

  • 5L 발효기에서 글루코스의 투입방법과 배지의 초기 글루코스 농도에 따른 유가식 배양에 의한 S. marcescens의 증식에 미치는 영향에 대해서 연구하였다. 발효기 조건을 일정하게 유지시켜준 각 유가식 배양에서의 최종란체량이 회분식배양에 비해서 훨씬 높았으며, 유기식 배양종에서도 기질인 글루코스의 공급을 달리하였을 때, 최종균체량에서 차이를 나타내었다. 회분식 배양과 유가식 배양중에서 글루코스의 일정비율공급밤법, 글루코스 결핍상태에서의 일정비율공급방법 그리고 지수적 공급방법의 최종균체량은 1.40, 5.07, 6.93 및 7.60g/L 이고, 그 때의 배양시간은 40, 41. 24 및 40hr이었다. 그리고 균체 생산성은 0.035, 0.124, 0.239 및 0.1909/L.h 이었다. 최종 균체량만을 가지고 비교하였올 경우에는 유가식 배양줌에서 지수적 공급방법이 가장 효율적이지만 당위시간당 균체 생산성에서는 글루코스 결핍 상태에서의 일정비율공급방법이 1.52배 정도 높게 나타냈으므로 가장 효과적인 배양 방법임을 알 수 있다. 용존산소와 글루코스 루입시가의 상관관계에서 나타난 바와 같이 글루코스 결핍상태에서 일정비율로 공급한 방법과 지수적으로 공급한 방법에서 좋은 일치를 보여주었다.

'보수·진보 프레임'의 한계와 미디어 비평의 과제 (The Limit of Conservative-Progressive Frame and Strategy of Media Criticism)

  • 이 논문은 민주주의의 위기와 저널리즘의 상관성을 분석하고, 그에 근거해 미디어 비평이 '민주주의 유지와 성숙'을 견인하는 학술 운동으로 새롭게 자리매김해야 한다는 주장을 담고 있다. 한국 민주주의가 절차적 실질적 차원에서 모두 후퇴한 데는 언론의 책임이 크다. 비평의 기준을 '민주주의 유지와 성숙'에 둬야 할 이유는 미국과 유럽의 저널리즘 이론으로 뒷받침할 수 있다. 저널리즘의 목적은 사람들이 자유로워지고 스스로 다스리는 데에 필요한 정보를 제공하는 것이며, 공론장은 숙의 민주주의의 조건이다. 이 논문은 구체적 비평의 전략으로 세 가지를 제안했다. 첫째, 보수 진보의 프레임 탈피다. 진영 논리는 어떤 미디어의 보도와 논평이 민주주의 후퇴에 책임이 있는지 시시비비를 가리는 중요성을 희석시킬 수 있다. 둘째, 노사 관계에 대한 비평 확대다. 한국의 노사 관계는 언론 지형과 공론장 못지않게 크게 기울어져 있다. 저널리즘은 노사 관계 의제 설정에 인색했고, 보도와 논평을 하더라도 대부분 '자본 편향'이었다. 셋째, 주권자의 역량 강화다. 민주주의가 '민중에 의한 통치'라면, 가장 중요한 것은 민중의 역량 강화다.

패션 소셜미디어 품질, 정보 이용행동, 구매의도 간 관계 연구 (The Relationship among Fashion Social Media, Information Usage Behavior, and Purchase Intention)

  • Purpose - This study aimed to identify the sub-dimensions of fashion social media quality (information quality, social quality, service quality, system quality) and investigate how they affect purchase intention through fashion information use behavior (information acceptance, information diffusion). Research design, data, and methodology - Data collection was carried out twice for systematic verification of the research model. In the first data collection, the reliability and validity of research variables were verified through 238 respondents and questionnaires were revised and supplemented based on their responses. In March 2018, the final survey was conducted from 755 respondents the age of 20 to 49. Using SPSS 23.0, descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis were performed. In order to test hypotheses, structural equational modeling technique was employed using AMOS 23.0. Results - First of all, fashion Social media quality consists of four factors including information quality, social quality, service quality and system quality. Second, fashion Social media information quality, social quality, and system quality were shown to have a positive(+) effect on information acceptance behavior, and social quality, service quality and system quality were shown to have a positive(+) effect on information diffusion behavior. It was also determined that the acceptance and diffusion behaviors of fashion information through fashion Social media had positive(+) influence on purchase intention. Conclusions - This study holds academic significance in its identification of the components of fashion Social media quality and for conducting an empirical analysis on the causal relationship between fashion information acceptance and diffusion behaviors, and purchase intention. The results of this study indicate that fashion involvement is the key factors in determining the quality of Social media, the acceptance of information through Social media, and, by extension, the purchase of fashion products. Practitioners in the fashion industry may use the findings of this study in order to build more effective Social media strategy.

IPTV 도입에 따른 국내 양방향 방송 매체간 경쟁 관계 비교 : 적소 이론의 적용 (Competitive Analysis Among Interactive Broadcasting Media in Korea Affected by the Introduction of IPTV : Adopting the Niche Theory)

  • IPTV의 시장 진출 이후 양방향 방송 특성을 중심으로 한정된 미디어 수용자의 매체 선택을 둘러싼 유료 방송 시장의 경쟁이 더욱 치열해지고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 IPTV 도입 이후 변화된 유료 방송 시장의 경쟁 구조를 양방향 방송 매체간 경쟁 관계 관점에서 분석하였다. 이를 위해 적소 이론에 의한 경쟁 관계 분석 방법을 적용하여 IPTV와 기존 유료 방송 매체인 케이블방송, 위성방송간의 경쟁 관계를 양방향 방송의 충족 기회 특성에 따라 분석하였다. 양방향 방송에 대한 수용자의 기대 가치 차원은 사용 용이성, 상호작용성, 선택의 다양성, 경제성의 4가지로 제시하였으며, 적소 이론에 의해 수용자의 각 매체 별 활용 정도, 매체간 유사성 정도, 매체간 경쟁 우위성을 분석하였다. 또한, 이들 분석 결과에 의해 IPTV와 타 방송 매체와의 경쟁 구도를 살펴보고, IPTV가 유료 방송 시장에서 경쟁 우위를 확보하기 위한 성공 전략을 제시하였다.

소아에서 방사선 조영제 유해반응의 임상적 특징 (Clinical characteristics of adverse reaction to radiocontrast media in children - A single center experience)

  • Purpose: Radiocontrast media are widely used in medical imaging to improve diagnostic accuracy. However, studies on the adverse reactions of radiocontrast media in children are limited. We aimed to describe the characteristics of adverse reactions to radiocontrast media among children who had a computed tomography scan or magnetic resonance imaging in a tertiary university hospital. Methods: We retrospectively collected data on adverse reactions to radiocontrast media by the reporting system of a tertiary university hospital. We selected data from children under the age of 19 from July 2011 to December 2017 and analyzed their characteristics. We focused mainly on the characteristics of the index case which is defined by the first adverse event of each subject. Results: During the period, a total of 88,050 radiocontrast media-enhanced imaging studies were performed and 184 cases of adverse reactions were reported. A total of 71 were identified as index cases. Forty-nine (69.0%) were male and the mean age was $12.7{\pm}3.2$ years. The incidence of radiocontrast media-related adverse reactions was 0.09% and severe reactions were 0.002%. The most common clinical feature was skin manifestations (54.9%), followed by gastrointestinal symptoms (40.8%) and neuropsychiatric symptoms (7.4%). Conclusion: Adverse reactions to radiocontrast media rarely occur in children and the incidence of severe reactions is low. Most reactions are mild and are related to the skin and gastrointestinal system. This report would provide good evidence for establishing a management strategy in children scheduled for imaging studies using radiocontrast media.
