In this paper, a turbo equalizer is proposed for the digital video broadcasting for terrestrial - 2nd generation (DVB-T2) system. The proposed turbo equalizer is consisted with the maximum a posteriori (MAP) and low density parity check (LDPC) decoder. The channel information for the soft-input-soft-output (SISO) MAP equalizer is based on the least square (LS) channel estimator. The performance is analyzed through computer simulations in terms of the iteration number.

Currently, many kinds of World Wide Web contents are produced by an individual journalism. Users who simply obtain information by surfing the web becomes the producer, and many contents created by these users reflect on their own interesting topics and social issues. Among these issues, the environmental contents are considered in this study, which we proposed as EcoMap, a media service platform for such contents. In terms of EcoMap, a way of thinking about our own environment would be affected, and the environmental information will be produced and shared more effectively by the users on the web.
The aim of this paper is to improve the usability of Mobile Maps by allowing more people to use. To figure out better UX/UI, I evaluated usability for Mobile Applications from various materials such as literatures and blogs for qualitative methods and interviews and questionnaires about satisfaction of Naver and Daum for quantitative methods. So, We know that a map app is important and it is affected by force and profile on the portal site than its own features, because, not often in everyday life. Even though people do not use Mobile Map Applications frequently, we need to improve usability to make anybody use them easily by minimizing depth and button designs.

Owing to the advancement of Internet and smart devices, access to various media such as social media became easy; thus, a large amount of big data is being produced. Particularly, the companies that provide various Internet services are analyzing the big data by using the MapReduce-based big data analysis techniques to investigate the customer preferences and patterns and strengthen the security. However, with MapReduce, when the big data is analyzed by defining the number of reducer objects generated in the reduce stage as one, the processing rate of big data analysis decreases. Therefore, in this paper, a MapReduce-based split big data analysis method is proposed to improve the log analysis processing rate. The proposed method separates the reducer partitioning stage and the analysis result combining stage and improves the big data processing rate by decreasing the bottleneck phenomenon by generating the number of reducer objects dynamically.
This paper proposes a conditional replenishment algorithm (CRA) to improve the visual quality (where spatial resolutions of the left and right views are mismatched) of a hybrid stereoscopic 3DTV that is based on the ATSC-M/H standard. So as to generate an enhanced view, the CRA is to choose the better substitute among a disparity-compensated view with high quality and a simply interpolated view. The CRA generates a disparity map that includes modes and disparity vectors as additional information. It also employs a quad-tree structure with variable block size by considering the spatial correlation of disparity vectors. In addition, it takes advantage of the disparity map used in a previous frame to keep the amount of additional information as small as possible. The simulation results show that the proposed CRA can successfully improve the peak signal-to-noise ratio of a poor-quality view and consequently have a positive effect on the subjective quality of the resulting 3D view.
In this paper, we investigated baseline estimation methods for remove background noise using Raman spectra from acute alcohol liver injury and acute ethanol-induced chronic liver fibrosis. Far the baseline estimation, we applied first derivative, linear programming and rolling ball method. Optimal input parameter of each method were determined by the training rate of MAP (maximum a posteriori probability) classifier. According to the experimental results, classification results baseline estimation with the rolling ball algorithm gave about 89.4%, which is very promising results for classification of acute alcohol liver injury and acute ethanol-induced chronic liver fibrosis. From these results, to determined the appropriate methods and parameters of baseline estimation impact on classification performance was confirmed.

This study concluded that smart glass can combine realistic media and reasonable technologies to compensate for the disappointment of simple one-dimensional board game contents, suggest various games to board game contents that were only possible through advertisements and promotions, and can promote board games, tourism services, and insufficient tourism contents. Content development is highly complete as an educational content in that it can be omitted or repeated by customers, and it is expected to be a board game using interesting smart glasses for the MZ generation.

Exercise programs for elderly users are operated by each department and facility, but it is not enough to visualize exercise prescription and effect followed by elderly users physical conditions. The purpose of this study is to suggest exercise prescription for elderly users with a visual path map. A visual path map is to visually present types of users classified according to physical strength conditions, the process of exercise prescription, and effects of exercise. Exercise prescription is divided into four stages: analysis of physical conditions, exercise prescription by the visual path map, smart exercise prescription, and exercise for elderly users. The first stage, analysis of physical conditions is to classify physical conditions by each type by mechanically learning elderly users' physical test values. The second stage, exercise prescription by the visual path map, is to present exercise prescription suitable for elderly users' physical conditions. The third stage, smart exercise prescription, is to offer exercise prescription of the day when exercise is carried out using elderly users' smart phones in consideration of their situations. The fourth stage, exercise for elderly users, is to provide information by their smart phones when they exercise. In conclusion, this study will be able to induce elderly users to do continuous exercise by motivating them.
In the shadow map method, if the shadow map is magnified, the shadow has a jagged silhouette. Herein, we propose a soft shadow method that filters reshaped silhouettes analytically. First, the shadow silhouette is reshaped through sub-texel edge detection, which is based on linear or quadratic curve models. Second, an integral shadow filtering algorithm is used to accurately obtain the average shadow intensity from a definite integral estimation. The implementation demonstrates that our solution can effectively eliminate jagged aliasing and efficiently generate soft shadows.
