Case - control study 를 이용한 유치원 원아의 비만관련요인 연구 (A case - control study of diet related risk factors for obese preschool children)

  • This study was undertaken to evaluate the relation between obesity and dietary life of children aged 4-7 divided into two groups based on height for age, weight for age and weight for height. Controls were selected based on sex and age similar with those of cases. Cases and controls were selected using the combination of weight for height, weight for age and height for age by the World Health Organization standard. Cases were 23 children judged as obese. Controls were 37 judged as normal. Whether their mother had a job or not, showed relative risk 1.35(95% C1 0.32-5.64). In obese group, employmental statue of mother was 17.4% compared with 13.5% in control group. In mother's concern for cooking pattern, the relative risk was 5.64 and 95% CI was 1.70-18.66 in the item of "We consider the color arrangement when we serve foods" which was the highest rate. The item having the lowest relative risk was "We cook the meal by ourselves with spending time" which of the relative risk was 0.52 and 95% CI was 0.16-1.65. The item having a great significance in the dietary habit of subjects were "They beat the tablewear with the chopstick"(RR:1.64, 95% CI:0.22-12.73) and "I talk with food in my mouth"(RR :1.11, 95% CI:0.39-3.15), and the other items didn't show significancy. Number of food eating per day for male was 30.0$\pm$10.93 in obese group where as 23.2$\pm$9.80 in control group. 22.3$\pm$4.56, 21.8$\pm$10.91 were taken obese group and control group respectively in female. In the survey for general habit in life, the item of "We has a time for conversation with our family regularly" was high correlation to obesity and item of "We made our children change clothes and go to toilet themselvesj has slight relation to obesity. From above, we observed normal and obese children had different factors such as mother's attitude for preparing meals, table manners and habit of living. So we should take a continuous interest in children's dietary life in order to correct the wrong dietary habit and to protect from future problems.

혈액투석 환자에서 당뇨병 유무에 따른 영양상태와 영양섭취량 비교 (A Prospective Study on Nutritional Status and Nutrient Intake of Hemodialysis Patients Based on Coexistence of Diabetes)

  • It is well known that malnutrition is a predictor of mortality in hemodialysis patients. The number of diabetic nephropathy patients is increasing rapidly. This study aimed to investigate nutritional status and nutrient intake according to the presence of diabetes among hemodialysis patients. The nutritional intake and general characteristics of outpatients at Ajou University Hospital (24 with diabetes and 30 without diabetes) were investigated between July and September 2015. Patients' general data were collected, and nutritional status by Patient-Generated Subjective Global Assessment (PG-SGA) was evaluated. Nutrient intakes were assessed according to 3-day food records. There was no significant difference regarding body weight between the two groups. However, the non-diabetic group showed a better nutritional status by Patient-Generated Subjective Global Assessment (PG-SGA) ($5.2{\pm}4.4$ vs. $8.0{\pm}4.3$ score, non-diabetics vs. diabetics, P<0.05). There was no difference in daily calorie intake ($1,473.9{\pm}370.5$ vs. $1,503.8{\pm}397.5kcal$) and protein intake ($60.3{\pm}19.7$ vs. $65.6{\pm}20.5g$) in those with diabetes. Intakes of vegetables protein, sodium, potassium, vitamin C, folic acid and fiber were significantly higher in the diabetic group compared to those of the non-diabetic group. There was no difference in daily nutrient intake between the hemodialysis weekday and weekend groups. The non-diabetic group had higher calorie and sodium intakes per meal in the hemodialysis weekday group, but the difference was not significant. Based on these results, intervention should be performed to improve nutritional status in consideration of diabetes and dietary patterns.

18개월 유아의 섭식, 구강위생 관리실태 및 구강상태에 관한 기초조사 (A PILOT SURVEY ON THE STATE OF FEEDING, ORAL HYGIENE CARE TOOTH ERUPTION AND CARIES IN 18-MONTH OLD INFANTS)

  • 본 조사는 소아치과에서 중요한 시기인 생후 18개월 유아에 대한 체계적인 연구를 위한 기초 조사의 일환으로 부산대학교 병원과 일신기독병원에서 출생한 생후 18개월 유아 154명을 대상으로 구강검진을 하고 그 보호자들을 대상으로 직접 면담을 하여 수유 및 섭식실태, 구강위생관리 실태, 치아맹출과 우식 실태를 조사하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 73%의 유아에서는 여전히 수유가 시행되고 있었으며 그 중 82%는 수면중 수유하거나 수유후 적절한 구강위생관리 없이 잠드는 상태였다. 2. 고형간식은 과일 비스킷류, 치즈, 빵, 사탕류의 순으로, 음료는 물, 유산균 발효유, 우유, 가당쥬스, 생과일 쥬스의 순으로 많았으며, 전체의 61%가 불규칙한 섭취를 하고 있었다. 3. 구강위생관리에 있어서는 92%가 어떤 방식으로건 관리를 하고 있었고, 유아용 칫솔을 이용하는 경우가 가장 많았으며, 그 시작시기는 평균 13.8개월, 1일 1.6회를 실시하고 있었고 잇솔질의 주체는 유아가 흉내낸 후 보호자가 마무리하는 경우가 77%로 대부분을 차지하였다. 4. 모든 유절치는 맹출된 상태였으며 제1유구치는 86%, 유견치는 66%의 유아에서 관찰되었고 개인별 치아의 수는 평균 14.1개였다. 5. 우식 이환율은 27.3%이었고 전체우식의 73%는 상악 유절치에 나타났으며 dmft index는 0.97이었다. 본 조사를 통하여 이 연령대 유아 보호자들을 대상으로 적절한 이유시기, 올바른 간식습관과 구강위생방법에 대한 교육이 절실함을 알게 되었다.

중도시내(中都市內) 도서(島嶼)와 육지거주부인(陸地居住婦人)의 모성보건실태비교(母性保健實態比較) (Comparative Study on Maternal Health Status With Island and Land Women in A Middle City Area)

  • To compare the maternal health status between women in island and land, the study was conducted to adjacent land (kukdong) and island (kyonghodong) areas in Yosoo city during April 1976. The results obtained from 174 interviewee in island and 192 in land areas were the same as follow, 1. General characteristics of both area. Age: Land, group 20-29 year of age was the largest. Island, 30-39 year of age was the largest. Education; Low educated group, less than primary grade (land 88.6%, island 93.1%), was predominant in both area. Occupation of herself; agriculture and labor was the main occupation (land 50%, island 82.2%) in both area. Occupation of husband: labor and fishery was general (81.2%) in land, and agriculture and fishery was general (81.6%) in island. Duration of residence; Land, 25.0% being resided here more than 10 years. Island, 64.3% being resided here more than 10 years. 2. Marriage, Pregnancy, and Present children. 원주지역 중학생의 패스트푸드 섭취정도에 따른 패스트푸드 이용태도 및 식습관 비교 (Fast Food Consumption Pattern and Food Habit by Fast Food Intake Frequency of Middle School Students in Wonju Area)

  • 본 연구는 강원도 원주 지역에 소재한 3개 중학교에 재학하는 1, 2학년 454명을 대상으로 패스트푸드 섭취 빈도에 따른 패스트푸드의 이용 태도, 패스트푸드에 대한 인식, 식습관, 건강관련 사항 등을 파악하기 위해 설문지를 이용하여 조사하였다. 대상자 중 패스트푸드 자주 섭취군(주 1회 이상)은 29.5%, 보통 섭취군(한 달에 2~3회 정도)은 50.7%, 비섭취군(한달에 1회 이하)은 19.8%로 분류되었다. 패스트푸드를 먹는 목적으로 '간식용'의 비율은 자주 섭취군과 보통섭취군이 비섭취근에 비해 유의하게 높았고, 패스트푸드에 관한 개선점으로 세 군 모두 저렴한 가격과 덜 기름진 음식을 희망하였다. 패스트푸드에 대한 인식에서 자주 섭취군, 보통 섭취군은 비섭취군에 비해 패스트푸드가 배고픔 해소에 도움을 준다고 인식하였으며, 패스트푸드의 섭취 빈도가 많을수록 패스트푸드를 쉽게 사 먹을 수 있고, 메뉴가 다양해 질리지 않는 것으로 인식하였다. 또한 패스트푸드 비섭취군은 자주 섭취군, 보통 섭취군에 비해 식사량이 적당하고, 여러 가지 다양한 식품을 섭취하고 있었으며, 밥, 채소류, 과일류, 단백질, 우유 및 유제품, 해조류의 섭취가 더 많았다. 건강이상 증상 조사에서 자주 섭취군과 보통 섭취군은 비섭취군에 비해 졸음이 오고, 손발이 차고, 피부가 거칠은 증상을 더 자주 느꼈다.

음식섭취행동이 식습관 및 구강건강의 주관적 평가에 미치는 영향 (Impact of eating behavior on dietary habits and subjective oral health evaluation)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the eating behavior of patients in a bid to facilitate the improvement of their eating behavior, as eating behavior seemed to affect oral health and dietary habits. Methods : The subjects in this study were 235 patients who visited the dental hygiene practice lab at C college in South Jeonla Province. After a survey was conducted, the collected data were analyzed with the statistical package SPSS 12.0. Results : 1. When their self-awareness of dietary habits and oral health was checked in consideration of eating behavior, those who thought they had very good dietary habits and were in good oral health had meals three times a day. Their eating time was very irregular, and they took 15 to 20 minutes to eat. Their overeating frequency was three or four times a week, and their frequency of eating between meals was once or twice a week. 2. On the contrary, the daily eating frequency of the patients who found themselves to have very bad dietary habits and to be in bad oral health was not fixed, and their eating time was neither regular nor irregular. They spent less than 10 minutes having a meal, and their overeating frequency was once or twice a week. Their frequency of having a snack was three or four times a week, and as for food preference, they had a liking for meat. 3. The patients considered themselves to be in better health when they had balanced meals and good eating behavior, namely good dietary habits. And they rated their own dietary habits higher when they were in a good oral state, had no experiences to feel pain in the mouth and didn't receive any dental treatment, namely when they were in good oral health. Conclusions : This study attempted to investigate the influence of eating behavior on oral health awareness. Another limitation of this study is that the geographic scope was just confined to an urban community in South Jeonla Province without checking any possible regional gaps. However, it's quite evident that eating behavior exerts an influence on oral health awareness, and it seems worth doing to examine a larger number of subjects by utilizing objective oral health guidelines.

유기액비 시용량이 고추의 생육 및 품질에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Organic Liquid Fertilizer on Growth and Fruit Quality of Hot Pepper)

  • 본 연구는 개발된 유기액비의 시용량이 고추 생육 및 과실 품질에 미치는 영향을 구명코자 실시하였다. 개발된 유기액비의 조성은 계분 : 쌀겨 : 대두박(2:1:1, w/w)이며, 시험 처리는 화학비료 시비구인 대조구와, 유기액비의 표준 시비량 처리구인 OLF-1.0X 처리구, OLF-1.0X의 70%수준인 OLF-0.7X 처리구, OLF-1.0X의 130% 수준인 OLF-1.3X 처리구 등 4 처리를 하였다. 초장은 OLF-1.0X 처리구에서 대조구 293cm에 비하여 23cm 감소하였으나 과수는 유의하게 증가하였다. OLF-1.0X 처리구에서 홍고추의 총 캡사이신 함량은 $253mg{\cdot}kg^{-1}$으로 대조구 $331mg{\cdot}kg^{-1}$으로 보다 23.6% 감소하였으나, 유리당 함량은 19.5% 증가하였다. OLF-1.3X 처리구의 총 캡사이신 함량과 가용성 고형물 함량은 다른 처리들과 유의성을 나타내었다. OLF-1.0X 처리구의 홍고추 수량은 $3,490kg{\cdot}10a^{-1}$으로 대조구 $3,168kg{\cdot}10a^{-1}$보다 10% 증가하였으며, 총수량은 15% 증가하였다. 따라서, 고추 유기액비 관비재배시 적정시용량은 OLF-1.0X로 밝혀졌다.

친환경 복합효소제 첨가가 이유자돈의 설사 및 면역반응에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Eco-friendly Multi-enzyme on Diarrhea and Immune Response of weaned Pigs)

  • This study was designed to investigate the effects of multi-enzyme on diarrhea and immune responses of weaned pigs. A total 36 weaned pigs ($5.92{\pm}0.48kg\;BW$; 28 d old) were randomly allotted to 2 dietary treatments (3 pigs/pen, 6 replicates/treatment) in a randomized complete block design. The dietary treatments were a typical diet based on corn and soybean meal (CON) and CON with 0.1% multienzyme (Multi; mixture of ${\beta}-mannanase$, xylanase, ${\alpha}-amylase$, protease, ${\beta}-glucanase$, and pectinase). Pigs were fed their respective diets for 6 wk. Frequency of diarrhea, levels of packed cell volume (PCV), white blood cells (WBC), immunoglobulins, cortisol, tumor necrosis $factor-{\alpha}$ ($TNF-{\alpha}$), transforming growth $factor-{\beta}$ ($TGF-{\beta}$), and C-reactive protein (CRP) were measured. Multi group tended to decrease (p<0.1) diarrhea frequency than CON group during 2 wk after weaning. Lower values of PCV on d 3 (p<0.05) and d 7 (p<0.1) were found in Multi group compared with CON group. There were no significant differences on WBC number and immunoglobulin (Ig) M and A between Multi and CON groups. However, Multi group tended to increase (p<0.1) Ig G on d 7 than CON group. Moreover, Multi group showed modulated immune responses, indicated by decreased levels of cortisol (p<0.05) on d 7 and 14, $TNF-{\alpha}$ on d 3 (p<0.05) and d 7 (p<0.10), $TGF-{\beta}$ on d 2 (p<0.05) and d 7 (p<0.10), and CRP (p<0.10) on d 3 and 7 after weaning compared with CON group. Consequently, inclusion of multi-enzyme in diets for weaned pigs improved gut health and modulated immune responses of weaned pigs.

병원 급식 및 영양 서비스를 개선하기 위한 정보시스템 구축 (An Information System Building to Improve the Food and Nutrition Services in Hospitals)

  • 최근 의료환경의 변화와 함께 병원 간 경쟁이 더욱 심화되어 병원경영의 목표가 새로 정립되고 있다. 이러한 목표를 달성하기 위해 진료지원부서인 병원 급식 및 영양 서비스 분야에서도 혁신적인 방안을 모색하고 있다. 모색된 여러 가지 방안들을 구체적으로 실행하는데 있어 전산화를 기반으로 한 정보시스템의 구축은 필수적이다. 본 연구에서는 병원 급식 및 영양서비스분야에서 사용하고 있는 각종 정보의 통합적 관리를 위한 정보시스템을 구축하고자 하였다. 기존의 단순 반복적인 업무들을 전산화하는 것은 물론이고, 병원 정보시스템과 유기적으로 연계할 수 있는 정보시스템 구축을 통해 급식분야의 생산성을 향상시키고, 비용 절감의 효과를 얻고자 하였다. 이는 병원 경영의 효율성을 제고하고 타 병원에 대한 경쟁력을 확보할 뿐 아니라 궁극적으로는 최고의 환자 식사 서비스 만족을 도모하는데 큰 역할을 할 것이다. 본 연구를 통해 구축된 병원 급식 및 영양서비스 분야의 정보시스템을 TASTY(Time-based Advanced Service Technology for Yong-Dong Severance Hospital, Nutrition Department)라 명명하였다. TASTY는 식단관리, 구매관리, 임상영양서비스관리, 작업관리, 급식경영분석의 5가지 업무 분야와 이들의 바탕이 되는 기본 정보관리 업무를 수행한다.

사료첨가제로서 맥주박이 장수풍뎅이 유충의 생육에 미치는 영향 (Brewers' Dried Grain as a Feed Additive for the Korean Rhinoceros Beetle, Allomyrina dichotoma)

  • 장수풍뎅이 유충은 쌍별귀뚜라미와 갈색거저리 및 흰점박이꽃무지 유충과 함께 국내 식품의약품안전처의 식품공전에 일반식품원료로 등록되었다. 이에 곤충에 대한 종합적인 관리 시스템 개발이 요구되고, 이와 함께 양질의 곤충을 대량생산하기 위한 위생적이고 안전한 식용곤충 전용 먹이원 개발 등과 관련된 연구를 지속적으로 수행할 필요가 있다. 식품가공 부산물은 단백질, 지질, 무기질 및 기타 여러 가지 생리활성 물질을 함유하고 있어 가축 등 동물 사료의 대체 에너지원으로 활용되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 감귤박, 비지박, 대두박, 맥주박 등 4종의 식품가공 부산물을 첨가한 먹이원 급여에 따른 장수풍뎅이 유충에 미치는 효과를 비교하였다. 장수풍뎅이 3령 유충에 10% 맥주박을 첨가한 먹이원을 급여했을 때 가장 높은 생존율을 보였고, 유충의 무게 또한 대조구 대비 약 26% 증가된 것으로 나타났다. 유충기간에 있어서도 10% 맥주박을 첨가했을 때 약 120일로 대조구보다 28일 이상 단축되는 것을 확인하였다. 뿐만 아니라 10% 맥주박 첨가 실험구의 용무게와 용화율이 가장 높게 나타나는 것으로 보아 맥주박이 장수풍뎅이 사육용 사료 소재로서 충분히 활용될 가치가 있을 것으로 생각된다. 더불어 맥주박은 시중에서 쉽고 저렴하게 구매할 수 있어 곤충사육 농가에서 손쉽게 활용할 수 있으며, 식품가공 부산물을 친환경적으로 처리하고 식용곤충을 안전하고 경제적으로 사육하는 데 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.
