LPG 용기용 밸브 구조물의 강도안전성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Strength Safety of Valve Structure for LPG Cylinder)

  • 본 연구에서는 LP가스 용기용 밸브에서 취약할 것으로 예상되는 Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 지역에 대한 강도안전성을 FEM으로 해석하였다. 밸브의 두께가 1.5mm이고, LPG 압력이 3.5MPa일 때 밸브의 Part 1 모서리 부분에서 27.5MPa의 Von Mises 최대응력이 걸리는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 밸브의 두께가 1.5mm이고, LPG 압력 3.5MPa이 밸브에 작용할 때 Von Mises 최대응력은 Part 2에서 41.5MPa, 그리고 Part 3에서 46.5MPa으로 나타났다. 이러한 FEM 해석결과는 밸브의 Part 1, Part 2, Part 3에 작용하는 Von Mises 최대응력 모두가 황동소재 C3604의 항복강도 대비 9.2~15.5% 수준으로 대단히 낮은 값을 나타내고 있다. 이것은 기존의 LP가스 용기용 밸브의 두께가 지나치게 과도한 설계를 하였다는 것을 의미한다. 따라서, 밸브의 Part 1과 Part 2 지역의 두께는 황동밸브의 경량화 차원에서 얇게 설계하는 것이 바람직하다. 반면에 Part 3 지역의 두께는 기존의 밸브 두께처럼 두껍게 설계하여 높은 체결토크에도 안전한 강도를 유지하는 것이 좋다.

커먼레일 연료분사 시스템을 장착한 2.9 리터급 경량 DME 트럭의 연구 및 개발 (Research and Development of a 2.9 Liter Light-duty DME Truck Using Common Rail Fuel Injection Systems)

  • In this study, the trucks(2.9-liter) have been developed to use DME as fuel, and performance test of the vehicle's DME engine, power, emissions, fuel economy and vehicle aspects was conducted. For experiments, the fuel system(common-rail injectors and high-pressure pump included) and the engine control logic was developed, and ECU mapping was performed. As a result, the rail pressure from 40MPa to approximately 65% increase compared to the base injector has been confirmed that. Also, the pump discharge flow is 15.5 kg/h when the fuel rail pressure is 400rpm(40MPa), and the pump discharge flow is 92.1 kg/h when the fuel rail pressure is 2,000rpm(40MPa). The maximum value of full-load torque capability is 25.5 kgfm(based on 2,000 rpm), and more than 90% compared to the level of the diesel engine were obtained. The DME vehicle was developed in this study, 120 km/h can drive to the stable, and calculated in accordance with the carbon-balance method of fuel consumptions is 5.7 km/L.

6주간 야외용 운동기구를 사용한 저항운동이 노인 여성의 무릎신전근 기능 및 구조에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Six-week Resistance Exercise using an Outdoor Knee Extension Machine on Function and Structure of the Knee Extensor Muscles)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of leg extension exercises performed on outdoor resistance exercise machines on knee extension muscle strength and quadriceps muscle group cross sectional area (CSA) in elderly women. Two groups were recruited for this study, including an exercise group (EG: n=13, $71.38{\pm}2.79$ yrs) and a control group (CG: n=5, $73.4{\pm}5.94$), In all subjects, maximum isometric and isokinetic muscle strength of knee flexion and extension were measured using an isokinetic dynamometer (Cybex(R) Humac Norm Testing & Rehabilitation System, USA). Quadriceps muscle group CSA were measured using MRI (Philps, Intera 1.5 T, NE Netherlands). The results of this study showed that post-intervention isometric knee extension peak torque value were higher than pre-intervention measures in the EG. However, the EG did not show improvement in quadriceps muscle group CSA, Also, no differences in the shift of optimal knee joint angle were observed between pre and post-intervention exercise. Outdoor leg extension exercise showed small increases in muscle strength in comparison to other resistance training exercises. The results of this study suggest that because outdoor leg extension exercise machines lack a progressive loading mechanism, significant increases in muscle strength may not be obtained.

Nylon6계 반응 상용화제에 의한 PP/PS 블렌드에 관한 연구 (A Study on the PP/PS Blends with Nylon 6 Reactive Compatibilizers)

  • RPP(maleic-anhydride grafted polypropylene)와 OPS(oxazoline grafted polystyrene) 블렌드는 비혼화성으로서 반응이 일어나지 않으므로 RPP와 OPS에 Nylon6를 반응상용화제로 첨가하였다. RPP, Nylons, OPS간의 반응을 반응토오크, FT-IR, DSC로 관찰하였다. 3성분계 반응의 결과물로 반응상용화제인 RPP/Nylon6/OPS가 생성됨을 확인하였다. RPP/Nylon6/OPS의 반응은 RPP와 OPS가 1:1일 때 Nylons의 당량비가 0.66에서 최대 반응토오크를 얻었으며, Nylon6의 당량비가 1일 때 반응 효율이 크게 나타났다. RPP/Nylon6/OPS의 반응에 따른 몰폴로지의 변화를 관찰하여 반응정도가 높을수록 미세한 균일상을 얻었다. 블렌드의 물성은 Nylon6의 당량비가 1.5일 때 가장 높은 물성값을 얻었다. 만들어진 RPP/Nylon6/OPS 3성분계 블렌드를 PP/PS 단순 블렌드에 첨가하여 상용성을 고찰하였고 PP/Nylon6/PS 비혼화성 블렌드와 비교분석 하였다. 결과적으로 RPP/Nylon6/OPS가 PP와 PS 블렌드계의 반응상용화제로 적절함을 확인하였다.

가황형태 및 온도가 천연고무 컴파운드의 물리적 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Vulcanization Type end Temperature on Physical Properties of Natural Rubber Compounds)

  • 3가지 대표적인 가황계인 conventional vulcanization(Conv), semi-efficient vulcanization (Semi-EV), efficient vulcanization(EV)방법을 카본블랙 충전 천연고무 배합고무에 대해 적용하고, 이들 가황계에 따른 가황특성, 인장특성, 동적 점탄성을 조사하였다. 또한 가황온도가 배합고무의 기계적 물성과 노화저항성에 미치는 영향도 조사하였다. Conv 가황계가 Semi-EV나 EV 가황계에 비해 가황속도는 낮았으나 최대 토오크는 높았다. 인장특성은 Conv 가황계가 Semi-EV나 EV 가황계에 비해 높은 모듈러스를 나타내었고, 파괴점에서의 인장강도는 유사한 반면 신장율은 낮았다. 가황온도 증가에 따라 경도, 모듈러스 및 인장강도는 감소하였고, 감소 정도는 EV나 Semi-EV 가황계가 Conv 가황계보다 낮았다. 또한 열노화에 대한 저항성은 EV 가황계가 Conv 가황계보다 월등히 우수하였다.

비상 발전기를 이용한 유도전동기의 소프트 기동 시스템 (Soft Start System of Induction Motor using Emergency Generator)

  • In general, in an emergency generator system for an electric facility including an induction motor load, an emergency power generation facility larger than the facility load capacity is built due to the initial starting current of the induction motor. In order to reduce this economic burden, various methods to reduce the inrush current of induction motors are applied to suppress the additional expansion of generators due to the reduction of power generation facilities and the increase in electrical facilities. Among these methods, when a system with a built-in soft start function of an induction motor using an inverter is built, it is the best way to reduce the inrush current of the induction motor to less than the rated current. However, in this case, the installation cost of the inverter to drive the induction motor increases. This paper proposes a soft start method of an induction motor by expanding the frequency and voltage control operation area of an emergency generator. In addition, proposed a speed calculation method based on power factor information, which is essential information for stable soft start of an induction motor, and a method for generating a speed command value of the governor for starting with maximum torque.

수직 이착륙 무인기용 소형 덕티드팬의 공력성능 및 후류특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Aerodynamic Performance and Wake Characteristics of the Small Ducted Fan for VTOL UAV)

  • 소형무인기의 틸팅방식 추진장치로 소형덕티드팬을 적용하였을 때 나타나는 공력특성을 분석하기 위해 직경 104mm 전기추진 덕티드팬의 공력특성을 풍동시험을 통해 살펴보았다. 소형무인기 운영조건에서 나타나는 현상을 살펴보기 위해 OPPAV 축소시제기의 제자리비행, 전진비행 및 천이비행 조건을 시험조건으로 채택하였으며, 6분력 발란스를 사용하여 덕티드팬의 추력 및 측력, 토크를 측정하였다. 비행체 주날개 및 꼬리날개에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 팬 후류를 파악하기 위해 5공 프로브를 사용하여 덕트 후방 250mm 단면의 3차원 속도벡터를 측정하였다. 제자리비행 및 전진비행 조건에서 덕티드팬의 추력 및 토크 특성을 파악하였으며, OPPAV 축소시제기에 적용하기 위한 조건을 도출하였다. 천이비행 조건에서 틸트각 40° 이하에서는 각도가 변하여도 추력이 유지되는 특성을 보이고 있으며 그 이후 각에서는 점차 증가하는 경향이 나타났다. 측력은 틸트각 75°까지 지속적으로 증가하는 경향이 나타났다. 제자리비행 및 전진비행 조건에서 60m/s 수준의 축방향 속도성분과 12m/s 수준의 원주방향 속도성분이 측정되었다. 틸트각이 증가함에 따라 축방향 속도 최대값 위치가 회전중심선을 벗어나는 경향이 나타나고 있으며, 단면 와류 중심도 유사한 위치로 이동하는 경향이 나타나고 있다.

평행식 진동탄환 암거 천공기의 연구 (IV)(V)-실기 설계 제작 및 보장실험-Development of Balanced-Type Oscillating Mole Drainer(IV)(V)

  • This paper is the forth and fifth one of the study on balanced type oscillating mole drainer. In the light of the results from previous reports about the model tests, some design criteria were established and a prototype machine was set up for experimental purpose. Motion characteristics and functionof the each parts of the machine were checked and analyzed. After that, performance tests of the prototype machine were carried out in thefield. Obtained results are summarized as follows ; 1. Ten centimeter of the bullet diameter was determined so as to be able to attach it to the tractors with capacity of 30 PS to 40 PS. 2. To maintain the balance between the moments of the front shank and rear shank, the oscillating amplitude of the rear bullet was determined to be larger than that of the front bullet. At the same time , the oscillating direction of the rear bullet was designed with the inclines of ten to thirty degrees. 3. An octagonal dynamo transduced was developed for measuring the compressive force of the upper link is measuring the draft force of the machine. Acceptable linear relationship between forces and strain responses from O.D.T. was obtained. 4. Analysing the balancing mechanism of the acting part of the machine , it was found that the total draft force of the machine was equal to the difference between the sum of the draft force produced from the right and left side bending moments of the lower drawber and the compressive force on the upper link. 5. There are acceptable linear relationship between the strain and twisting moment by driving shaft, and between strain and shank moment. Above results enable us to carry out the field experiment with prototype machine. 6. When the test machine was used in the field, it was possible to reduce the oscillating acceleration by forty percent in average as compared it with the single bullet mole drainer. 7. When the test machine was used under the oscillating condition, the dratt torce was reduced by 27 percent to 59 percent as compared it with the test machine under non-oscillating condition, while the draft force was increased by 7 percent to 20 percent as compared it with the mole drainer having oscillating single bullet. The reasoning behind this fact was considered as the resistance force due to the rear shank and bullet. 8. As the amplitude and frequency of the bullet were increased, the torque was increased accordingly. This tendency could be varied with the various characteristics of the given soils. And the larger frequency and amplitute, the more increasing oscil\ulcornerlating power but decreasing draft brce were needed, and draft force was increased as the velocity was increased.9. When the amplitude of the rear bullet was designed to be larger than that of the front bullet, the minimum value of the moment was lowered and oscillating acceleration was reduced. And when the oscillating direction of the rear bullet was declined back\ulcornerwards, oscillating acceleration was increased along with the increasing angle of decli\ulcornernation. When the test machine was operated in high speed, the difference between maximum moments and minimum ones became narrow. This varying magnitude of moments appeared on the moment oscillogram seems to be correlated to the oscillating acceleration and draft force. 10. From the analysis of variance, it was found that those factors such as frequency, amplitude, and operating velocity significantly affected in the oscillating acceleration, the draft resistance, the torque, the moment, and the total power required. And interaction between frequency and amplitude affected in the oscillating acceleration. 11. Within the given situation of this study, the most preferable operating conditions of the test machine were 7 Hz in oscillating frequency, 0.54 m/sec in operating velocity, and 39.1 mm in oscillating amplitude of front and rear bullets. However, it is necessary to select the proper frequency and magnitude of oscillation depending on the soil properties of the field in which the mole drainer is practiced by use of a bal1nced type oscillating mole drainer. 12. It is recommended that a comparative study of the mole drainers would be performed in the near future using two separate balanced oscillating bullet with the one which is operated by oscillating the movable bullet in a single cylinder or other balanced type which may be single oscillating bullet with spring, damper or balancing weight, and that of thing. To expand the applicability of the balanced type oscillating mole drainer in practical use, it is suggested to develop a new mechanism which perform mole drain with vinyl pipe or filling material such as rice hull.

동 팬텀과 초음파 센서를 이용한 호흡운동 조절 방사선치료 기술 개발 (Development of Respiration Gating RT Technique using Moving Phantom and Ultrasound Sensor: a feasibility study)

  • 폐, 간 등의 상 복부에 위치한 종양의 방사선 조사 체적은 호흡에 의한 종양의 이동을 포함하기 때문에 방사선 조사체적이 증가되어 방사선 독성 및 정상조직 선량이 증가하게 된다. 이러한 문제점을 극복하기 위해 동 팬텀과 초음파센서를 이용하여 호흡운동에 의한 환자 체표면의 움직임을 획득하고, 획득한 데이터의 역 값을 이용해 환자침대를 조절해줄 수 있는 호흡운동 조절 방사선치료 기술을 개발하고자 한다. 호흡운동에 의한 환자 체표면의 움직임을 평가하기 위해 제작한 팬텀은 조정기(BS II, 20 Mhz, 8K Byte), 센서(Ultra-Sonic, range 3 cm${\sim}$3 m), Computer(RS232C), Servo Motor (Torque 2.3 Kg)등으로 구성하였고, 제어와 구동을 위한 획득-보정-분석 프로그램을 작성하였다. 최대 2 cm 범위 내에서 팬텀을 움직이게 하였고, 팬텀의 움직임과 보정이 순차적으로 일어나도록 프로그램 하였으며, x, y, z가 연속적으로 움직이도록 구성하였다. 임의의 움직임 데이터(유격이 2 cm이 되도록 하여 3차원 데이터 형태)를 입력하여 동 팬텀을 조정하고, 동시에 팬텀 움직임을 초음파 센서를 이용하여 획득한 후, 두 데이터 간의 비교, 분석을 시행하였다. 이후 쥐(Guinea-pig, about 500g)를 이용하여 호흡운동에 의한 환자 체표면의 움직임을 획득한 후 획득한 데이터의 역 값으로 팬텀을 구동시킴으로써 실시간 호흡운동 조절 방사선치료 기술을 평가하였다. 팬텀 실험에서 3 차원 입력데이터에 대한 팬텀 보정 데이터 간의 정확성을 시간에 대한 거리 값으로 비교한 결과 ${\pm}$1% 이내의 정확성을 알 수 있었고, 이에 필요한 보정시간은 2.34 ${\times}$ 10-4 초임을 알 수 있었다. 또한 동물 실험에서도 동일한 방법으로 시간에 대한 거리 그래프와 획득-보정 간의 지연 시간 등을 분석한 결과 팬텀 데이터와 같은 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 팬텀, 동물 실험 모두에서 시간에 대한 거리 값과 각각의 경우에 획득-보정 간의 지연 시간을 분석한 결과 데이터 값은 ${\pm}$1%이내에서 일치하였으며, 데이터 획득-보정 지연 시간은 2.34 ${\times}$ 10-4 초 이내 즉, 실시간으로 얻을 수 있어 새로운 호흡운동 조절 방사선치료 기술의 임상적용에의 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다.
