Topology Optimization Design of Machine Tools Head Frame Structures for the Machining of Aircraft Parts (항공기부품가공용 공작기계 헤드프레임 구조의 위상최적화 설계)

  • The head frame structure of a machine tool for aircraft parts, which requires machining precision and machining of difficult-to-cut materials is required to be light-weighted for precision high-speed machining and to minimize possible deformation by cutting force. To achieve high stiffness and for light-weight structure optimization design, a preliminary model was designed based on finite element analysis. The topology optimization design of light-weight, high stiffness, and low vibration frame structure were performed by minimizing compliance. As a result, the frame weight decreased by 17.3%, the maximum deflection was less than 0.007 mm, and the natural frequency increased by 30.6%. The static stiffness was increased in each axis direction and the dynamic stiffness exhibited contrary results according to the axis. Optimized structure with the high stiffness of low vibration in topology optimization design was confirmed.

A STUDY ON THE EFFECT OF ROTATIONAL SPEEDS OF THE TREPHINE MILL ON THE TEMPERATURE OF SURROUNDING BONE DURING DENIAL IMPLANTATION PROCEDURE AND OSSEOINTEGRATION OF IMPLANTS (치과 임플랜트 시술시 골천공기구의 회전속도가 주위 골조직의 온도 및 골일체성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • Frictional heat produced by cutting tools during dental implantation procedure may destroy the surrounding bone tissue and regenerative capacity and interfere ossointegration by formation of undifferentiated connective tissue. To study the effect of frictional heat according to various rotational speeds on the regenerative capacity of surrounding bone tissue, 13 ITI HS implants (8 mm) were inserted at 4 mongrel dogs. Temperatures were measured using thermocouple located 6 mm below from the marginal crest and 0.5 mm from the periphery of trephine mill during implant bed preparation. After 4 and 9 months, animals were sacrificed and specimens were examined using x-rays and light microscope. Results were as follows: 1. With drill speeds of 300, 800, 2,000, 3,500 rpm and saline irrigation, temperatures of surrounding bone were decreased from $-2.9^{\circ}\;to\;-1.7^{\circ}C$. Temperature rises of $2.0^{\circ}\;and\;2.1^{\circ}C$ were recorded with a drill speed of 5,000 rpm and irrigation. 2. With drill speeds of 800, 3,500, 5,000 rpm and no irrigation, temperatures of surrounding bone rose from $+1.5^{\circ}\;to\;+6.8^{\circ}C$, but maximum temperature was $40^{\circ}C$ at 5,000 rpm. 3. On radiographic examination, bone resorptions were observed at the upper half of implant of 5,000 rpm without irrigation and one case of 5,000 rpm with irrigation. 4. Osseointegration was unsuccessful in cases of 3,500, 5,000 rpm without irrigation due to fibrous connective tissue formation to the outer surface and hollow, but it was successful in a case of 800 rpm without irrigation. 5. Osseointegration was successful in cases of 300, 800, 2,000 and 3,500 rpm with irrigation. But fibrous connective tissue formation was observed at the hollow of implant inserted with 5,000 rpm with irrigation.

Influence of surface treatment on the insertion pattern of self-drilling orthodontic mini-implants (표면처리가 교정용 미니 임플랜트의 식립수직력과 토크에 미치는 영향)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to compare self-drilling orthodontic mini-implants of different surfaces, namely, machined (untreated), etched (acid-etched), RBM (treated with resorbable blasting media) and hybrid (RBM + machined), with respect to the following criteria: physical appearance of the surface, measurement of surface roughness, and insertion pattern. Methods: Self-drilling orthodontic mini-implants (Osstem implant, Seoul, Korea) with the abovementioned surfaces were obtained. Surface roughness was measured by using a scanning electron microscope and surface-roughness-testing machine, and torque patterns and vertical loadings were measured during continuous insertion of mini-implants into artificial bone (polyurethane foam) by using a torque tester of the driving-motor type (speed, 12 rpm). Results: The mini-implants with the RBM, hybrid, and acid-etched surfaces had slightly increased maximum insertion torque at the final stage ($p$ < 0.05). Implants with the RBM surface had the highest vertical load for insertion ($p$ < 0.05). Testing for surface roughness revealed that the implants with the RBM and hybrid surfaces had higher Ra values than the others ($p$ < 0.05). Scanning electron microscopy showed that the implants with the RBM surface had the roughest surface. Conclusions: Surface-treated, self-drilling orthodontic mini-implants may be clinically acceptable, if controlled appropriately.

Also, need technology as powerful engineering approached fairly system and educational guidance side examination necessarily to overcome u-Learning base situation and studying obstacle situations. This treatise embodied handiness examination about attention shortage and excess obstacle (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, low ADHD) who must solve so as to be square and level being increase trend in primary school using USB (Universal Serial Bus) terminal system that allow fetters to OSGi (Open Service Gateway Initiative). That OSGi base USB terminal system is easy preservation of information, safety of network, cost-cutting and maintenance by various ubiquitous system that server that load many USB terminals and OSGi uses an USB bus of high speed and construct network, there is advantage of concentration elevation and so on of week and ADHD handled in this treatise because early diagnosis and treatment are serious. The confirmed system application that can supplement paper and pens examination's shortcoming and could solve examination's problem which use computer, and help in student guidance through ADHD simpleexamination who utilize OSGi base USB terminal system. Is available by game system that system for human nature examination or intelligence test and general exam explaining and level studying, order style question investigation program, studying system for disabled person, majority that enforce in public in school this study finding does together.
