요구사항 추적성 매트릭스에서 유연한 맵핑 변경을 가능하게 하는 스프레드시트 애플리케이션 (A Spreadsheet Application that Enables to Flexibly Change Mappings in Requirement Traceability Matrix)

  • 요구사항 추적성은 개발과 유지보수 과정 동안 지속적으로 관리해야 한다. 그러나, 실제에서는 품질 보증을 점검하는 단계에서 갱신한다. 이러한 차이는 개발자가 추적성을 갱신하는 노력에 비해 추적성을 통해 얻는 혜택이 적기 때문이다. 이러한 노력 대비 보상의 관점에서 우리는 일반적으로 사용하는 스프레드시트 형태의 요구사항 추적성 매트릭스에서 맵핑을 유연하게 바꿀 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 제안의 목적은 개발자가 요구사항 추적성을 갱신하는데 들이는 노력을 줄이는 것이다. 제안 방법은 먼저, 각 시트에 두 산출물 간의 관계만을 기입하여 변경이 발생할 때, 개발자가 변경된 맵핑을 즉시 반영할 수 있도록 한다. 다음, 개발자가 원하는 시점에서 제안 방법은 자동적으로 모든 산출물의 관계를 계산하여 추적성 매트릭스를 생성한다. 또한 누락된 맵핑 관계를 색상으로 표시하고 척도를 계산하여 개발자가 추적성 매트릭스의 완전성을 파악하도록 돕는다. 우리는 제안 방법의 적용가능성을 파악하기 위하여 사례 연구를 수행하였다. 사례 연구는 제안한 요구사항 추적성 매트릭스가 실제 프로젝트에 적용 가능하며 변경된 맵핑 관계를 쉽게 수용함을 보여준다.

A practical application of cluster analysis using SPSS

  • Basic objective in cluster analysis is to discover natural groupings of items or variables. In general, clustering is conducted based on some similarity (or dissimilarity) matrix or the original input text data. Various measures of similarities (or dissimilarities) between objects (or variables) are developed. We introduce a real application problem of clustering procedure in SPSS when the distance matrix of the objects (or variables) is only given as an input data. It will be very helpful for the cluster analysis of huge data set which leads the size of the proximity matrix greater than 1000, particularly. Syntax command for matrix input data in SPSS for clustering is given with numerical examples.

주거밀도모형을 이용한 환경영향분석과 수용능력 산출 (Environmental Impact and Allowable Density Using the Rural Residential Density Matrix)

  • Analysis of carrying capacity and site suitability by the systematic application of environmental information an provide a basis for implementing environmentally sensitive and sustainable resource development policies. Based on the availability of public services and environmental and site-specific constraints, a Rural Residential Density Matrix was applied in Santa Cruz County, California, USA to assess the development potential of rural land parcels since 1980. In one case, the Matrix was applied to calculate the allowable development density on a site in Lompico planned for use as a Buddhist retreat center. These calculations revealed higher environmental sensitivity and lower carrying capacity than projected in the proposed plan. Under the constraints of the county's minimum acreage policies and insufficient developable land, the developer cancelled the proposed plan. This example suggests that application of the Matrix at the concept development stage would increase the effectiveness of the prior environmental review and environmental impact assessment (EIA) system in Korea.

법랑기질유도체와 결합조직이식술을 이용한 치근피개술: 치은퇴축과 관련된 다양한 증례 (Subepithelial connective tissue graft in combination with enamel matrix derivative for root coverage within different case of gingival recession: Case report)

  • Root coverage can be an efficacious treatment not only in aspect of dental symptoms like root caries and hypersensitivity, but also in aspect of esthetic problem. There are several predictable methods for gaining a connective tissue attachment to an exposed root surface. Among them, this case report will deal with three cases using enamel matrix derivative and connective tissue graft to recover esthetic and physiological periodontal environment and its form. This case report deals with three patients with gingival recession which has occurred by different causes. They were treated with de-epithelialized graft accompanied by application of enamel matrix derivative. 6-12 months later, all three patients showed considerable root coverage and clinically stable condition of healing. In conclusion, within the limitation of this study, de-epithelialized connective tissue graft accompanied by application of enamel matrix derivative shows stable and clinical acceptable results in aspect of root coverage.

ON REGULARITY OF BLOCK TRIANGULAR FUZZY MATRICES

  • Necessary and sufficient conditions are given for the regularity of block triangular fuzzy matrices. This leads to characterization of idem-potency of a class of triangular Toeplitz matrices. As an application, the existence of group inverse of a block triangular fuzzy matrix is discussed. Equivalent conditions for a regular block triangular fuzzy matrix to be expressed as a sum of regular block fuzzy matrices is derived. Further, fuzzy relational equations consistency is studied.

  • In this paper, differentiation operational matrix for Haar function is derived. Proposed method only using a matrix calculation of Haar discrete matrix and block-pulse function's integration operational matrix. It would be possible to use to design an a1gebraic estimator for fault detection or unknown input observer effectively.

  • Code matrix is the matrix of which on element and its neighbors are arranged to have a code value. The code matrix was originally designed by the author for developing a vision system but has not been theoretically studied. In this paper some theoretical properties of the code matrix are investigated. The studied characteristics of the code matrix are useful for not only understanding the matrix itself but efficiently restructuring the matrix. A number of transformation functions, which enable the matrix to have different shape, are thus developed based on the investigated properties. The transformation functions are then applied to build a perfectly and uniformly structured square code matrix, which is proven useful in on image processing example. The study in this paper is expected to serve a theoretical background for the application of the code matrix in many areas.

CONDENSED CRAMER RULE FOR COMPUTING A KIND OF RESTRICTED MATRIX EQUATION

  • The problem of finding Cramer rule for solutions of some restricted linear equation Ax = b has been widely discussed. Recently Wang and Qiao consider the following more general problem AXB = D, $R(X){\subset}T$, $N(X){\supset}\tilde{S}$. They present the solution of above general restricted matrix equation by using generalized inverses and give an explicit expression for the elements of the solution matrix for the matrix equation. In this paper we re-consider the restricted matrix equation and give an equivalent matrix equation to it. Through the equivalent matrix equation, we derive condensed Cramer rule for above restricted matrix equation. As an application, condensed determinantal expressions for $A_{T,S}^{(2)}$ A and $AA_{T,S}^{(2)}$ are established. Based on above results, we present a method for computing the solution of a kind of restricted matrix equation.

매트릭스형 분류체계를 적용한 IEC 기술용어 표준화 방안 (Standardization of IEC Terminologies Based on a Matrix Classification System)

  • Through the correspondence works with IEC in the smart grid fields and power IT fields, we set up the interpretation work procedure and defined the work rule for correspondence by analyzing the work results. In addition, we suggest cases for discussion of terms and definitions in the IEC and analyze them and then propose a matrix classification system for standardization to solve the cases for discussion. The matrix classification system with 3-axes of classification has been applied to newly emerging terminologies followed by smart gird. We drew the usefulness in search of terms in application fields and showed the cases of applying the matrix classification. The IEC Electropedia classification standard is unclear and the classification is mixed with principle, application and product areas. We proposed a new working group in IEC TC1 for research on the matrix classification system and then TC 1 decided to organize a new WG titled in the "IEV structure and supporting tools".

  • Metal matrix composites (MMCs), which are a combination of two or more constituents with different physical or chemical properties, are today receiving great attention in various areas, as they have high specific strength, corrosion resistance, fatigue strength, and good tribological properties. This paper presents a research review on the combination of matrix and reinforced materials, fabrication processes, and application status of metal matrix composites. In this paper, we aim to discuss and review the importance of metal composite materials as advanced materials that can be used in various applications such as transportation, defense, sports, and extreme environments. In addition, the applicability and technology development trends in new process technology fields such as additive manufacturing of metal composites will be described.
