정형검증 도구를 활용한 Fly-By-Wire 헬리콥터 비행제어법칙 자동코드 무결성 확보 방안 (Secure methodology of the Autocode integrity for the Helicopter Fly-By-Wire Control Law using formal verification tool)

  • 내장형 소프트웨어 기술이 항공 및 방위산업과 같은 안전-필수 시스템에 적용됨에 따라 보다 높은 소프트웨어의 신뢰성이 요구되고 있다. 그 중에서 소프트웨어의 무결성은 주로 정적 분석 도구를 이용해 검증이 이뤄지고 있으며 최근에 개발된 정적 분석 도구는 수학적인 분석 방법을 통해 코드의 무결성을 평가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 정형 검증 도구인 Polyspace를 이용해 자동코드의 결함을 검출하고, 코딩규칙의 준수 여부를 검증하였다. 검증된 결과를 바탕으로 결함을 가진 제어법칙 모델을 수정하여 코드 생성 이전의 원천적인 결함을 제거 가능함을 확인하였고 FBW 헬리콥터 제어법칙 자동생성코드의 무결성을 확보 할 수 있었다.

스토리텔링 기반의 교수-학습 과정안 구안 및 현장적용 가능성 탐색 - 고등학교 수학과 집합단원을 중심으로 - (Development of Lesson Plan based on Storytelling and Searched the Possibility of Application)

  • The object of this study is to provide easily-understandable mathematics class to highschool students, who usually take no interest in mathematics, by apply teaching strategy based on storytelling to real lessons. The approaching methods for the mathematics education are emphasizing the mathematical education during making storytelling-studying plans, inducing the interest of the students by applying the mathematical situations in the story. The effects of the storytelling such as induction of the interest, persistency, perception of the practicality, smooth communication between teachers and students coincides with the way national mathematical education orients. This study contains the definition of the storytelling based on education, and applicability to the students, and application to the real lessons, and verification of the effects by focus-group interview with the students and observing teachers. I made the lesson plan based on storytelling for achievements to the object of the highschool mathematical study, and searched the best way to apply the lesson plan to the real lessons. I studied designing lesson strategy based on dissertations and books and reports directly related this study, and did focus-group interview to find advantages and disadvantages of the strategy. And finally I could make the well-applicable lesson plan.

A TWO-DIMENSIONAL FINITE VOLUME METHOD FOR TRANSIENT SIMULATION OF TIME- AND SCALE-DEPENDENT TRANSPORT IN HETEROGENEOUS AQUIFER SYSTEMS

  • In this paper, solute transport in heterogeneous aquifers using a modified Fokker-Planck equation (MFPE) is investigated. This newly developed mathematical model is characterised with a time-, scale-dependent dispersivity. A two-dimensional finite volume quadrilateral mesh method (FVQMM) based on a quadrilateral background interpolation mesh is developed for analysing the model. The FVQMM transforms the coupled non-linear partial differential equations into a system of differential equations, which is solved using backward differentiation formulae of order one through five in order to advance the solution in time. Three examples are presented to demonstrate the model verification and utility. Henry's classic benchmark problem is used to show that the MFPE captures significant features of transport phenomena in heterogeneous porous media including enhanced transport of salt in the upper layer due to its parameters that represent the dependence of transport processes on scale and time. The time and scale effects are investigated. Numerical results are compared with published results on the some problems.

'Modularised' Closed-Form Mathematical model for predicting the bracing performance of plasterboard clad walls

  • This paper presents a new approach to predict the racking load-displacement response of plasterboard clad walls found in Australian light-framed residential structures under monotonic racking load. The method is based on a closed-form mathematical model, described herein as the 'Modularised' Closed-Form Mathematical model or MCFM model. The model considers the non-linear behaviour of the connections between the plasterboard cladding and frame. Furthermore, the model is flexible as it enables incorporation of different nailing patterns for the cladding. Another feature of this model is that the shape of stud deformation is not assumed to be a specific function, but it is computed based on the strain energy approach to take account of the actual load deformation characteristics of particular walls. Verification of the model against the results obtained from a detailed Finite Element (FE) model is also reported. Very good agreement between the closed form solution and that of the FE model was achieved.

A Robust Method for Speech Replay Attack Detection

  • Spoofing attacks, especially replay attacks, pose great security challenges to automatic speaker verification (ASV) systems. Current works on replay attacks detection primarily focused on either developing new features or improving classifier performance, ignoring the effects of feature variability, e.g., the channel variability. In this paper, we first establish a mathematical model for replay speech and introduce a method for eliminating the negative interference of the channel. Then a novel feature is proposed to detect the replay attacks. To further boost the detection performance, four post-processing methods using normalization techniques are investigated. We evaluate our proposed method on the ASVspoof 2017 dataset. The experimental results show that our approach outperforms the competing methods in terms of detection accuracy. More interestingly, we find that the proposed normalization strategy could also improve the performance of the existing algorithms.

  • To study numerically the mechanical behaviors of advanced composite materials considering the microscopic phenomena as well as the macroscopic properties and behaviors, a multi-scale modeling and analysis by the mathematical homogenization method with the help of the finite element method(FEM) are reviewed. The hierarchical modeling strategy and the formulation are briefly described first to give some idea of the multi-scale framework. The latter half of this article focuses on the verification of the multi-scale analysis by the homogenization method in its applications to real advanced materials. The first example is the verification of the predicted macroscopic(homogenized) properties based on the microstructure of porous ceramics. In spite of the complexity of the random microstructure, the error between the predicted and the measured values was only 1%. Next, two applications to the process simulation of fiber reinforced polymer matrix composites are presented. The permeability characteristics are evaluated for sheared weave fabrics for resin transfer molding(RTM) simulation, and the thermoforming of FRTP sheet is analyzed considering the large deformation of the knit structure during the deep-draw forming was verified by comparison with the experimental results.

  • A simulator had been developed and will be used for reliability verification on turbine control programs for boiler feed pump in power plant prior to its actual operation in field. A mathematical model on thermal dynamics pertaining to prime mover steam turbine and pump was realized and included in this simulator. Also, many design and operating data acquired from fields were utilized in order to decide mechanical and thermal dynamic characteristics such as friction loss windage loss and inertia. A user can decide closing or opening velocity of steam stop valves and steam regulation valves. This simulator is able to generate steam pressure, turbine speed, pump power.

주제기반 설계 모형에 따른 수학-정보 연계·융합 수업 자료 개발 연구 (A Study on the Development of Mathematical-Informatics Linkage·Convergence Class Materials according to the Theme-Based Design Model )

  • 본 연구는 교과 간 연계·융합 수업자료 개발의 필요성이 높아지고 있음에도 고등학교에서 관련 수업 자료 개발 빈도가 적다는 선행연구의 연구 결과에 근거하여 수학과 정보 과목의 연계·융합 수업자료 개발 과정 및 결과물을 제시한 연구이다. 특히 본 연구는 동일한 교원학습공동체 프로그램에 참여한 6명의 교사들이 수학과 정보 교과 간 연계·융합 수업자료로서의 적합성과 현장 수업 적용 가능성이 높은 자료 개발을 목표로 논의한 과정들에 대한 정보를 담고 있다. 자료 개발 절차에 따라 주제기반 설계 모형을 적용하여 자료를 개발하였으며, 선행연구와 교원학습공동체 구성원의 합의 결과를 반영하여 100분 블록 수업 시간 동안 수학과 정보 과목의 교사가 함께 수업을 진행할 수 있는 수업 자료를 개발하였다. 개발한 자료는 사회적으로 이슈가 되었던 문제상황을 두 과목의 연결고리로 삼아 학생들이 수학적 모델링과 코딩을 통한 문제해결을 경험할 수 있는 자료이다. 개발된 자료는 '개발 자료를 현장에 적용하기에 타당한 자료인지 살펴보고 적용 실천성을 높이기 위하여' 현장 교사를 대상으로 CVR 검증을 통하여 검증을 하였으며, 그 결과를 반영하여 최종 개발된 수업 자료를 지도안 형태로 제시하였다. 또한 자료 개발 과정에서 개발자들의 경험한 시행착오와 고민도 함께 기술하여 현장 연구자들의 관련 연구 수행에 기초가 될 수 있는 정보를 제공하고자 하였다. 이러한 연구 결과는 수업자료 개발 모형이 실제 수업에 적용가능한지 탐색할 수 있는 실증적인 자료로서의 가치를 가지며, 이들 자료의 축적은 이론적인 수업 모형과 실제적인 현장 수업 사이의 선순환적인 관계 구축에 도움이 될 것으로 보인다.
