This case study was conducted by verification the site characteristics based on the questionnaire and interview obtained from the all factories located at No. 1 developing area in Kumi industrial complex. The site characteristics were presumed from the process of location behavior and spatial linkage. Kumi industrial complex was developed to improve export industry at national levels by providing chief land price and benefiting various tax. Kumi industrial complex which enticed many factories is playing an important role in export industry in Korea. At beginning, the detention of large enterprises promoted the establishment of related small to medium sized factories into the complex. Two distinctive industries. textile and electronic, were reflected by the purpose to establish the complex and industrial characteristics of Taegu city. respectively. In Kumi industrial complex, positive responses on traffic and raw material supply and negative reactions on the environmental impact on social community as well as high labor charge were investigated. Especially the higher labor cost prevented to hire laborers effectively. In the linkages of spatial and raw material, most factories in the complex depended on the availability of out side the Kumi city. For the textile factories, the supply of raw material and parts were relied on Taegu and/or other cities, whereas in electronic factories purchased them mainly from other cities and partly from abroad. Although questionnaire and interview suggested it, most of the parts were supplied by a parts maturing companies on the complex to a few large enterprises. In the marketing linkage, textile factories revealed higher relation-ship with the foreign countries and sewing factories in Korea. On the other hand, electronic factories have strong relation-ships in the marketing linkage to the parts supplying companies in the complex or large-scale resembling companies in other cities. In the textile companies, the right for decision on purchasing raw materials and parts is belonging to the owner whereas mother enterprise usually have the right for the marketing. In the case of the electronic factories, all the purchasing activities are related to the sub-contracting companies. In the service linkage, the Quality of the service created spatial distinction. There was high linkages on inside of Kumi complex for the low grade services such as repairing and installing machines, whereas strong linkages on outside of the complex for the high grade services such as management, law, taxation, new product development. and manufacturing technology. In the linkages of activity on the R&D (research and development), electronic factories do not have sufficiently qualified institutes in the complex. Strong regional linkages in the field of textile and electronic industries revealed limitations of the local industrial complex. In the sub-contracting linkage, high linkage ship within Kumi boundary reflected the characteristics of industrial site in the complex. There, most decisions by the companies centered by the mother enterprise.

Aloe gel layer is well known as raw materials of medicines and cosmetics due to their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. In aloe gel extracting process, the outer part of the leaf was removed. It contains high quality of fiber and many nutrients. However, this part is thrown away and generally used as fertilizer. The purpose of this research was to examine the important nutrient of Aloe saponaria. Moreover, the feasibility of using aloe as a dietary supplement by feeding fermentation treatment of aloe was investigated. To do this, the aloe leaf was divided into several parts including leaf skin, bottom of the leaf, tip of the leaf, middle of the leaf, and leaf flesh. Then the saponin content were analyzed from each part. The extraction method was used to clarify the saponin content. The aloe then fermented to improve it benefit. The fermented Aloe then given as dietary food to group of pig. Finally, the appropriate feed level was determined and the pork meat quality was analyzed. The extraction of saponin shows that the highest concentration of saponin located on the skin of the leaf. The feeding experiment shows that there is no significant difference in pig growth without aloe dietary food and groups with aloe as dietary food. It was conclude that fermented aloe can replace the pigs normal feeder as an alternative feeding solution.
As the importance of Culture Technology (music, publication, mobile, film, video, cartoon, animation, character, game, broadcasting etc) is increased, the field of character industry recently has been recognized as an independent brand value beyond the existing view point of simple designing; it also has been given much attention as a main axis leading the cultural industry of the 21 st century. The character of a local government plays roles such as a symbolic part of a region, parts of tourism and public relations, and a profit-making function, which results into generation of regional image and activation of regional economy. However, the present application strategy of the character is only limited to an early stage of regional advertisements. In this context, this study is aimed to investigate and analyze the character development of local governments, especially 31 cities and goons of Gyeonggi Province, comparing with those of local governments of Japan. In the long run, this will provide some suggestions for strategy of character applications. Then, this research is expected to be used as basic reference materials for character development of other local governments and government agencies.

The industry of computer has been changed quickly by developing and growing info-communications industry and by supplying new technologies. The importance of software field which is based on this change is gradually emphasized. Nowadays more people tend to have realization of mathematics and statistics that are basic theory of software study, moreover, discrete mathematics is especially getting more important in whole mathematics field. It's essential to understand discrete mathematics in order to understand existing knowledge about software field in computer engineering and develop new technologies in different areas in the future. The way people get education about discrete mathematics, however, is improper as a result of massive materials and uncertain standard. This study subdivides discrete mathematics according to different tracks in the computer software study. In addition, the research which is suitable to individuality in different fields is able to be efficiently carried out by selecting related parts and the method of mathematics education is provided to deal with rapidly changed applications in related fields.

The ability to use and utilize information technology devices in the knowledge-based society shows many differences in terms of quality of life. However, in the case of the elderly, the elderly suffer difficulties in acquiring information technology due to their aging characteristics, so they can not easily adapt to rapidly changing societies. Therefore, it is becoming more and more important to educate the elderly who are trying to adapt to the new environment of knowledge-based society. Therefore, in this study, we analyzed the previous researches of the researchers related to the elderly informatization education and the report of the actual situation of the digital divide of the government, and identified the problems and suggested ways to activate the effective education for the aged. The following suggestions are made to activate information education. First, there is a need for systematic promotion and professional counseling on the need for information education for the elderly learners. Second, the development of various curriculum that can be used in real life. Third, development of customized learning materials. etc. Fourth, Obtain a professional lecturer for the elderly. It is limited to lecturers who have completed teaching and learning methods that reflect the characteristics of the elderly. Fifth, the introduction of qualification certification system that can measure the level of informatization of the elderly learners. Sixth, building e-learning system for elderly people. Seventh, to establish a new organization dedicated solely to information education for the elderly. When these parts are realized, it will help elderly people to improve their quality of life through alleviation of solitude and alienation.
Korea has achieved a remarkable growth by pursuing externally-oriented growth policy since 1960s. That is, we imported raw materials and spare parts, manufactured them into products and exported them, which led to successful economic development. Therefore, our marine business has played an important roles as one of key industries. The development of marine business has contributed to efficient distribution and cost reduction in addition to production of added value and creation of employment creation, which improved external competitive power. In spite of economic importance of marine business, national perception on it is in general low and its developmental conditions are considerably poor. Therefore, this study aims to speculate the effect of Port-related business on regional economy using regional input-output tables.

In this study, we developed an allocation optimization system for supply chain management in the shipbuilding and offshore construction industry. Supply chain operation is a way of operating manufacturing company responsible for the procurement of outfitting parts. The method about how to allocate the manufacturing volume to each partner company includes important decisions. According to the allocation method, the stability of the material supplied to the final installation process is guaranteed. We improved the allocation method that was previously decided by the person in charge. Based on the optimization engine, a system is developed that can automatically allocate the production volume. For optimization model configuration, factors affecting the volume allocation were analyzed and modeled as constraint factors. A target function is defined to minimize the difference in the load variance of each partner company. In order to use the same type of volume allocation engine for various outfitting products, the amount of work done by the partner company was standardized. We developed an engine that can allocate the same production load of each production partner. Using this engine, the operating system was developed and applied to the actual offshore project. It has been confirmed that the work load variance of suppliers can be maintained uniformly using the optimization engine rather than manual method. By this system, we stabilize the manufacturing process of partner suppliers.
This research is a study on up cycling design to protect nature in order to postpone global warming to the maximum extent possible as it has been a serious global issue to the fashion industry and even to individual consumers. This research focuses on the ways to use wedding dress, one of the clothes made of synthetic fiber, which is a major cause of global warming. Among clothing from the 19th century, two styles of clothes, Bustle style and Art Nouveau style were analyzed ranging from their underwear styles to outwear styles through collections in books and museums. Two styles of dress using drawers, chemise, and corset as basic underwears were manufactured. All the fabric and subsidiary materials except for parts of underwears were made with discarded wedding dresses. It was developed for rental clothing which women could try on Western costume, from underwears to outwears. First, for bustle dress, woman put on basic underwears, then bustle, and bustle-type petticoat. Dress is a two-piece type, and it was made to put on detachable train on the back of skirt. Second, based on the Art Nouveau style clothes, our-glass style dress consists of petticoat, one-piece over drawers, chemise, and corset. After putting on drawers, both chemise, and corset were the same as Bustle Style. This research is a practical way of realizing sustainable design. The aim of the current work is to provide educational effect on the development of rental clothes which upcycle wedding dress and let women experience other cultures.

Recently, rural housing in urban areas has been increasing due to the improvement of income level. With the increase of the construction of the power house, the installation of the heating system using the harmonious fuel for the purpose of heating and the beauty of the room is increasing rapidly. In addition to the increasing use of firewood heating equipment, the incidence of fire is also increasing. Analysis of the National Fire Data System of the Fire Department The result of the analysis of the National Fire Data System Many parts of the fire are incinerated by the accumulation of tar due to the incompleteness of periodic cleaning inside the cylinder. The distance between the fire extinguisher and the combustible materials such as ceiling, Resulting in fire. In addition, it was found that much of the fire of the firewood heating system in the time zone occurs during the sleeping and resting time and there is not enough time for the residents to cope. This, in turn, causes serious harm to the lives and property of the users of the pyrotechnic heating system. Therefore, in this study, domestic and foreign standards and laws related to fuel oil heating facilities were analyzed and 12 cases of fire accidents were analyzed. Through the revision of the fire prevention and firefighting facilities installation and maintenance law, the installation standards of the alarm and fire extinguishing facilities were presented.

A butterfly valve is a valve that adjusts flow rate by rotating a disc for about 90° with respect to the axis that is perpendicular to the flow path from the center of its body. This valve can be manufactured for low-temperature, high-temperature and high-pressure conditions because there are few restrictions on the used materials. However, the development of valves that can be used in a 600℃ environment is subject to many constraints. In this study, the butterfly valve's stability was evaluated by a fluid-structured interaction analysis, thermal-structure interaction analysis, and seismic analysis for the development of valves that can be used in high-temperature environments. When the reverse-pressure was applied to the valve in the structural analysis, the stress was low in the body and seat compared to the normal pressure. Compared with the allowable strength of the material for the parts of the valve system, the minimum safety factor was approximately 1.4, so the valve was stable. As a result of applying the design pressures of 0.5 MPa and 600℃ under the load conditions in the thermal-structural analysis, the safety factor in the valve body was about 3.4 when the normal pressure was applied and about 2.7 when the reverse pressure was applied. The stability of the fluid-structure interaction analysis was determined to be stable compared to the 600℃ yield strength of the material, and about 2.2 for the 40° open-angle disc for the valve body. In seismic analysis, the maximum value of the valve's stress value was about 9% to 11% when the seismic load was applied compared to the general structural analysis. Based on the results of this study, the structural stability and design feasibility of high-temperature valves that can be used in cogeneration plants and other power plants are presented.
