A study on the Identification of Train Using Radio Frequency (무선주파수를 이용한 철도 차량 인식에 관한 연구)

  • This paper is designed for the identification system of the train using RFID(radio Frequency Identification) in the 134.2㎑. The reader of transmitter transmits an interrogation signal to the tag, then the tag of receiver retransmits the defined data to the reader after receiving the interrogation signal from it. The system is also applied to the reflection communication as a backscatter modulation and selected the passive Pouter system which does not need an active electrical power device. It is useful that ore can effectively manage and control of the information of train such as materials loaded in the train. We make the reader of the identification system for the train which can communicate with the tag installed under the train.

  • This project is to design and to implement an cornputenzed acquisition system by structured analysis technique for the Yomi university library. In result of desgmng, we added three subsystems, whlch are accession control, account, and print out system, to DOBIS/E acquisition system because we found that our DOBIS/E acquision system is able to use as we do ordenng and receiving in traditional process. DOBIS/E system and three added subsystems is closely related, and allow acquisition librarians to work more efficiently than before.

Satisfaction and Needs of Female Students in Engineering with Counseling Men Professors (공대 여학생의 남자교수 상담에 대한 만족도와 요구도)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the satisfaction and needs of female students in Engineering with counseling male professor. Subjects of this study were 92 female students in Engineering from a university in K city. Results of survey showed that women students in Engineering were most satisfied with the usefulness of counseling and next with male professor's attitude as counselor. Counseling needs of female students in Engineering was highest on receiving concrete information on finding a job from counseling and next to it on understanding women students. Results of focus group interview and suggestions for the study in the future were presented respectively.

  • This study is to make the fundamentals of sound quality evaluation in regard of acoustical characteristics of passenger compartment. The deviation of frequency response function level within audible frequency is evaluated at receiving point in the research of room acoustics. In this study, frequency response function is the one between speaker and driver's ear positions. The positions of driver and audio speakers are optimized by analysis of acoustic mode of acoustic cavity. The main reflection planes are determined by analysis sound ray path diffused at optimized speaker positions. Finally, designer selects acoustical material by analysis of absorption effect of acoustical materials on the main reflection planes in order to avoid to distortion and fluctuation of frequency response function..

Environmental Noise Prediction of Power Plants (발전소 환경소음 예측)

  • For computer aided design and construction of low noisy power plants, indoor and outdoor noise prediction program has been developed. The program utilizes the predefined data of noise sources and building materials and has the faculty to estimate the source level using the empirical formula in case of the measured data not being available. In the noise prediction, the mutual noise propagation between indoor and outdoor sites are considered. The outdoor noise source in the calculation of geometric divergence effects is modelled as the omni-directional finite line or planar source according to the source geometry and the receiving points. Outdoor noise prediction is carried out to consider the diffraction effect due to plant structures as well as the attenuation effect due to atmospheric absorption and soft ground. The results of indoor and outdoor noise prediction for a recently constructed diesel engine power plant show good agreement with the measured.

The Effects of Regular Health Education affecting Health Knowledge, Attitude, Behavior on Middle School students (보건교과교육이 중학생의 건강지식, 태도, 행위에 미치는 효과)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of regular health education by school nurses on middle school student's health related knowledge, attitude and behavior. Methods : A quasi-experimental design with pretest and posttest measures was used. Questionnaire survey was conducted to middle school students(1st, 2nd year). The participants of the study were composed two groups : 274 in health education group and 336 in control group. Results : After seventeen-week of receiving regular health education, differences were observed between the experimental group and the control group to health knowledge(F=7.901, p=.005), health attitude(F=4.174, p=.042) and health behavior(F=7.675, p=.006). Conclusion : The regular health education by school nurses on middle school students improve their health related knowledge, attitude and behavior. So it is recommended to develop standardized manual and educational materials for providing systematic and effective health education.

  • The conventional markets is badly damaged by a big fire because of no proper fire fighting management system. The cause of electricity fire is the aging and contact badness of electric equipment. The supervisory detecting system is needed to develop because the electric equipment is located to non visible and non exposing place. In this paper, we investigated the receiving and distributing board, the panel board and the fire prevention system of 17 domestic conventional markets. As a result of survey, capacity of distributing boards is mainly 600A and materials of distributing boards are synthetic resins 49%, metal 44%. ELB is mainly used as branch circuit breaker.

  • Last week, after our receiving online journal regarding Journal of the Korean Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, we found a recently published original article by Alawode et al., entitled "A comparative study of immediate wound healing complications following cleft lip repair using either absorbable or non-absorbable skin sutures". Although this clinical article was well written and provided a great deal of information regarding the suture materials in the cleft lip repair, I would like to add a few additional comments based on the importance of skin suture during cheiloplasties in the primary cleft lip or secondary revision patients with representative figures.

Thermal Stress Analysis on the Solid Oxide Fuel Cell according to Operating Temperature

  • The fuel cell is one of the green energy receiving a lot of attention. Among the fuel cells, it is generally referred to SOFC(solid oxide fuel cell) which is made up composites of a solid. SOFC has excellent merits in the side of environment and energy. However because of the high operating temperature, it has economic loss by the using of expensive materials and problems of structural instability by thermal stresses. Therefore, this study aims to the effect of analysis by the FEMLAB. The results have deformations and the maximum stresses from the variation of the thickness of vulnerability spots. The deformation shows expansion as 0.82% and the stress ${\sigma}_{xx}$ is 392MPa in electrolyte and -56.31MPa in anode. When increasing or decreasing the thickness to 50% of the reference thickness about the electrolyte which is vulnerable spots.

  • Over the past two decades, the electrochemical supercapaictors are receiving growing attention due to their possible applications as power backup in electronic equipment and electrical vehicles. Both of amorphous cobalt oxide and manganese dioxide were prepared by sol-gel process reported in our previous work. Nano-structured supramolecular oligomer of 1,5-diamino anthraquinone(DAAQ) coated metal oxides were successfully prepared by electrochemical oxidation from an acidic non-aqueous medium. We established process parameters of the technique for the formation of nano-structured materials. Furthermore, improved the capacitive properties of the nano structured metal oxide electrodes using controlled solution chemistry. $CoO_2$ and $MnO_2$-based composite electrode showed relatively good electrochemical behaviors in acidic electrolyte system with respect to specific capacity and scan rate dependency
