  • The environment of the access network service market is characterized by uncertain demand and various competing alternative technologies. In Korea, despite the introduction of competition, dominant Public Network Operator(PNO) still leads the market. Therefore, the decision of PNO has a great impact on the access network evolution. In this paper, we propose an model which aims to reduce risks and both investment and operating costs, to cope with the uncertain demand and technology evolution. We expect this model to provide a tool analyze risks and evaluate various strategies on the network evolution.

  • 본 논문은 클라우드 서비스 시장을 활성화하기 위해 중요 정보의 접근을 보호하는 기술을 제안하였다. 클라우드 서비스 시장의 여러가지 저해요소 중에 클라우드 시스템에 저장되는 중요한 대외비 및 개인정보가 유출될 수 있는 문제를 해결하기 위한 기술을 제안하였다. 클라우드 서비스 제공자와 일반 사용자가 클라우드 자원에 대한 접근을 통제하여 중요 정보를 보호 할 수 있도록 하였다. 시스템 관리자는 시스템의 유지 및 관리를 위해 슈퍼유저의 권한을 갖는다. 클라이언트 컴퓨팅 서비스는 외부의 클라우드 서비스 공급자가 관리하고 정보 또한 외부시스템에 저장된다. 이러한 환경으로부터 사내의 중요 정보를 보호하기 위해 클라우드 서비스 공급자를 포함한 모든 사용자가 인증을 받고 자원을 접근할 수 있도록 하였다. 제안한 접근통제 기술을 통해 클라우드 컴퓨팅 자원에 대한 기밀성과 신뢰성 서비스를 제공하여 클라우드 서비스 시장의 활성화를 기대한다.

System Access Control Technique for Secure Cloud Computing

  • Along with the diversification of digital content services using wired/wireless networks, the market for the construction of base systems is growing rapidly. Cloud computing services are recognized for a reasonable cost of service and superior system operations. Cloud computing is convenient as far as system construction and maintenance are concerned; however, owing to the security risks associated with the system construction of actual cloud computing service, the ICT(Information and Communications Technologies) market is lacking regardless of its many advantages. In this paper, we conducted an experiment on a cloud computing security enhancement model to strengthen the security aspect of cloud computing and provide convenient services to the users. The objective of this study is to provide secure services for system operation and management while providing convenient services to the users. For secure and convenient cloud computing, a single sign-on (SSO) technique and a system access control technique are proposed. For user authentication using SSO, a security level is established for each user to facilitate the access to the system, thereby designing the system in such a manner that the rights to access resources of the accessed system are not abused. Furthermore, using a user authentication ticket, various systems can be accessed without a reauthorization process. Applying the security technique to protect the entire process of requesting, issuing, and using a ticket against external security threats, the proposed technique facilitates secure cloud computing service.

닷넷 환경기반의 시장 모델링 및 가격모의 프로그램 개발 (Development of Market Modeling and Price Simulator(MMPS) Under the .NET Framework)

  • At present, the Korean electricity industry is undergoing restructuring and the Cost Based-generation Pool(CBP) market is being operated preparing for Two Way Bidding Pool(TWBP) market open. As the circumstance of the traditional system is changed according to power system deregulation, the simulation tool which should reflect market code providing market operating mechanism is needed to analyze an electricity market. This paper presents the development of an unique market simulator, Market Modeling and Price Simulator(MMPS) that is designed to imitate the Korean electricity market considering uniform price. The MMPS is developed in VB.NET and is composed of two modules that consist of market modeling and price simulation interfacing access database program. To evidence the features and the performance of MMPS, a small two way bidding market with 12-bus system and one way bidding market for generator competition will be presented for the electricity market simulations using MMPS.

  • International Procurement refers to the actions governments and public institutions worldwide buy goods and services. With the WTO agreement on government procurement, most procurements are realized by bidding, which accelerates the opening-up of International procurement. Today International procurement has drawn the world's attention. The scale of international procurement market has been developing fast, reaching about US$ 5.55 trillion this year, In our country, however, due to the difficulty in initial market access to local procurement, the participation in taking international procurement is quite inactive, especially when compared with our exporting scale. The UN procurement market has procurement rules that countries which make contributions to UN and developing countries are favorably treated, and non-discriminatory and public competition in bidding and the optimum purchase are kept, and so on. It has its own head office and many subsidiary agencies. Actually the international procurement market offers an international marketplace for suppliers of all tangible goods and services. Therefore, UN and international procurement markets are great significant foreign markets to our country. But our country lagges behind in international procurement as it has not reached to our monetary contribution to UN. Therefore, it's essential to stimulate our company's participations in the UN procurement market. To fulfil this purpose, first of all, this study analyzes the current status of UN procurement market and Korea's current participation status. Then it investigates the procurement information system of UN and Korea's international procurement market information system as well as assistance system. Based on the above, by studying on the actual spots of the interview investigations on the registered firms in UNPD, this thesis discloses the problems with the Korea's national information system and assistance system on UN procurement market. Finally, this study raises the efficient plan for the integrated international procurement information system & assistance system.

A Proposed Framework for the Automated Authorization Testing of Mobile Applications

  • Recent studies have indicated that mobile markets harbor applications (apps) that are either malicious or vulnerable, compromising millions of devices. Some studies indicate that 96% of companies' employees have used at least one malicious app. Some app stores do not employ security quality attributes regarding authorization, which is the function of specifying access rights to access control resources. However, well-defined access control policies can prevent mobile apps from being malicious. The problem is that those who oversee app market sites lack the mechanisms necessary to assess mobile app security. Because thousands of apps are constantly being added to or updated on mobile app market sites, these security testing mechanisms must be automated. This paper, therefore, introduces a new mechanism for testing mobile app security, using white-box testing in a way that is compatible with Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) working environments. This framework will benefit end-users, organizations that oversee app markets, and employers who implement the BYOD trend.

전자무역시대 농산물 수출물류 활성화 방안 및 과제 (A Scheme of the Agriculture Export Logistics Improvement in E-Trade Era)

  • The DDA negotiations, in 9th multilateral trade round, has focused on nine sectors including agriculture, non-agricultural market access, and service. After August 2004, member countries have intensified negotiations in order to reduce gaps between countries perspective. So most attention of members countries has been focused on agricultural trade and non-agricultural market access. Agricultural negotiation confront tough challenges because of different positions among members countries, and are not expected to reach perfect forms of modalities. Nevertheless based on the fact that many countries nearly reached agreement on some core. Under this circumstance, Korea has to prepare more practical strategics and more effective individual commitments to minimized the agricultural market opening. The other way, some Korean agricultural products will be exported by the DDA negotiation. Recently the understanding of Third-Party Logistics and Logistics Outsourcing are receiving increased attention as means of becoming competitive in agricultural products export improvement. So this paper presents a in-depth analysis for third-party logistics and its implications for Korea agricultural product export system improvement in E-trade Era.

WTO/DDA 농업협상에 대응하는 국영무역 발전방안 연구 (The Development Programs of State-operated Trade Corresponding WTO/DDA Agriculture Negotiation)

  • According to the TRQ system created by WTO agreement on agriculture, Korea notified the WTO of the application of tariff rate quotas for 67 agricultural commodities(now, 63 commodities). Among these government administrate state-operated trade for 17 commodities. However, WTO/DDA negotiation will bring about lowering tariffs and increasing quantities of tariff quota. This study suggest the development programs corresponding WTO/DDA agriculture negotiation. First, from the viewpoint of the protection of domestic agriculture & improving transparency of agricultural import administration, the administration system of the state-operated trade will be necessary to be transformed for market oriented methods. Second, the administration system of the state-operated trade will be necessary to be rendered unified organization also. The current system of the state-operated trade shows the phenomena og many divergency. And third, The quantities of market access of FTA between Korea and Chile will be desirable to be administrate by state-operated trade. Because, according to diffusion of FTA treaties, the amount of market access quantities of FTA increase rapidly henceforth.

중국 상해 패션 시장의 특성과 한국 패션 브랜드의 경쟁력 분석 (An analysis of the characteristics of the Chinese contemporary fashion market and the competitiveness of the Korean fashion brand)

  • This paper aims to analyze the characteristics of the contemporary Chinese fashion market and the competitiveness of Korean fashion brands in China. Fashion professionals experienced in both the Korean and Chinese fashion markets participated to investigate the Shanghai market and consumers. The results of in-depth interviews show that Shanghai is the most favorable city among Tier 1 cities for Korean fashion brands planning on entering into the Chinese market. Shanghai consumers are open to international brands and highly prefer newness in fashion. Contemporary menswear was selected as a potentially big market due to the increase of unique, young, upper-middle-class male consumers. The Korean fashion brands' strength is that they are capable of satisfying Shanghai consumers with excellent product planning and sensory design capabilities. Their disadvantage is that their brand recognition is weaker than that of global and international brands, and their ability to localize to the Chinese market is weak. The opportunity comes is from the Korean Wave, which is a positive for Korea's products and has good geographical access. The threat is that the Shanghai market is fiercely competitive; having access to many worldwide brands, and the competitiveness of Chinese brands is on the rise. To enter the Shanghai market, creative design ability, trendy product development, skill, and appropriate PR methods such as using Korean culture contents would be required to satisfy the young, powerful consumers in Shanghai.
