  • Recently, the user of mobile and cordless internet is growing rapidly. So the advertising methodologies are appeared on stage through the internet and mobile service. But the current advertisement(AD) service into mobile phones supplies a short-sentence AD using letter-message, and gives mobile phone users an inconvenience by making them first listen to and then check the AD. Until now the AD service using mobile has been on the beginning level. In this study, we suggest the new advertising methodologies and propose both target marketing strategies and demand forecast through the data mining techniques.

  • This paper compares the performances of cyclic delay diversity and phase rolling techniques for SC-FDE(Single Carrier with Frequency Domain Equalization) systems with multiple transmit antennas assuming time-flat and frequency-flat channels. In OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) systems generation of time varying channels using phase rolling can result in performance gains comparable to those of frequency-selective channels made by cyclic delay diversity However, in SC-FDE systems making time-selective channels may produce better results than creation of frequency-selective channels.

  • In this paper, an intelligent fault diagnosis system is proposed for induction motors through the combination of feature extraction, genetic algorithm (GA) and neural network (ANN) techniques. Features are extracted from motor vibration signals, while reducing data transfers and making on-line application available. GA is used to select most significant features from whole feature database and optimize the ANN structure parameter. Optimized ANN diagnoses the condition of induction motors online after trained by the selected features. The combination of advanced techniques reduces the learning time and increases the diagnosis accuracy. The efficiency of the proposed system is demonstrated through motor faults of electrical and mechanical origin on the induction motors. The results of the test indicate that the proposed system is promising for real time application.

  • In India, continuous production of electricity and sweet/potable water from Solar power and desalination plant plays a major role in the industries. Particularly in Copper industry, Solar power adopts Solar field collector combined with thermal storage system and steam Boiler, Turbine & Generator (BTG) for electricity production and desalination plant adopts Reverse osmosis (RO) for sweet/potable water production which cannot be used for long hours of power generation and consistency of energy supply for industrial processes and power generation cannot be ensured. This paper presents an overview of enhanced technology for Solar power and Desalination plant for Copper industry making it continuous production of electricity and sweet/potable water. The conventional technology can be replaced with this proposed technique in the existing and upcoming industries.

  • District unit plan was arranged for rational induction and regulation of development due to increase of demand for comfortable environment and change of recognition of urban view. This study analyzes cases of district unit plan since 2003 and draws the following conclusions to provide basic material necessary for landscape impact assessment and analysis of actual conditions. It used regulation of design factors and analysis of physical index in making view plan and focuses on characteristics of visual perception in predicting impact through simulation. Future landscape impact assessment must establish a variety of indices and application of various techniques.

  • Recently, according to the rapid development of internet and communication technologies, a lot of works based on network techniques have been developed. In relation to this trend, the agent systems that had been studied in the early AI have been being studied greatly in association with the network techniques. This paper present a design model of a secretary agent system in which each secretary agent can manage the schedules of her/his superior, and the descriptions about the implementation of the secretary agent system. In the presented secretary agent system, a database system and a knowledge-based systems are included and cooperated with each secretary agent to provide the ability of manipulating lots of schedule data and making decisions on them. This paper also shows that the presented secretary agent system can behavior like a real secretary through the various superior-secretary-meeting-requester interactions, which is different from the roup scheduling programs or personal scheduling programs.

  • Because a sensor node must operate on a tiny battery, the goal to eliminate energy inefficiencies leads the current researchers excavating for new techniques to advocate. As sensor networks edge closer towards wide spread deployment, security issues become a central concern. So far much research has focused on making sensor networks feasible and useful, and has not concentrated much on security issues especially computationally inexpensive techniques. In this paper we introduce a simple scheme relying on one-way hash-functions that greatly enhances location privacy by changing traceable identifiers on every read getting by with only a single, unreliable message exchange. Thereby the scheme is safe from many threats like eavesdropping, message interception, spoofing, and replay attacks.

  • It is difficult to develop objective evaluation techniques for the productivity in an R&D organization because there exists such as time lag between inputs and outputs, difficulties of measuring the influencing factors and results of a research and of comparing R&Ds with other objects towards innovation, and problems in identifying analysis elements. Particularly, governmental research institutes, pursuing publicity, have more difficulties in evaluating research achievement than the private ones. In evaluating the productivity of R&D organizations, this study aims at practically using the quantitative evaluation techniques by applying them to the public as well as private institutes. This will be finally contributing to decision making for effective management of R&D organization.

  • In ancient East Asia surgical methods existed even before the modern surgical methods were introduced. These surgical methods were mainly used to treat tumor, bruises, and dermatosis. The methods include many techniques such as making incisions in the skin, tell when to operate, and the aftercare following an operation. The traditional ways are not practiced any more due to its being replaced by the anesthesia techniques originating from the West, but the ancient methods can still be found in documents and these methods can be reproduced through such documents. There is a possibility that this ancient method could replace the present day method because of its nature-friendly characteristic as well as its post-operation management.

  • My contribution to these proceedings summarizes a general overview on High Resolution Shock Capturing methods (HRSC) in the field of relativistic hydrodynamics with special emphasis on Riemann solvers. HRSC techniques achieve highly accurate numerical approximations (formally second order or better) in smooth regions of the flow, and capture the motion of unresolved steep gradients without creating spurious oscillations. In the first part I will show how these techniques have been extended to relativistic hydrodynamics, making it possible to explore some challenging astrophysical scenarios. I will review recent literature concerning the main properties of different special relativistic Riemann solvers, and discuss several 1D and 2D test problems which are commonly used to evaluate the performance of numerical methods in relativistic hydrodynamics. In the second part I will illustrate the use of HRSC methods in several astrophysical applications where special and general relativistic hydrodynamical processes play a crucial role.
