This descriptive study identifies nursing students' methods of studying related to the learning stages, based on a sample of 251 nursing students in a Korean university. The main findings of the study are as follows. The major learning styles of nursing students were accomodation (68.6%), divergen (53.6%), and convergence (38.8%) for the first, second, third, and fourth year group. For all students, the majority (71.3%) showed accomodation or the divergence. The learning styles for grade level were significantly different, (x2=110.021, df=9, p=0.001). The stage of concrete experience was the majority for all of the first year group (51.8%), the second year group (57.1%), and the third year group (61.3%). But, active experimentation (41.9%) was the majority for the fourth year group. Also there were significant differences between the stages of learning by age (x22= 64.391, df=9, p=0.001). The most significant result of the study was the establishment of different modes of learning stages by year, thus supporting the experiential learning theory. The greatest change of style from the first year group to the second year group was reflective observation (7.3%longrightarrow12.9%). That from the second year group to the third year group was the abstractive conceptualization (14.3%longrightarrow21.3%); and that from the third year group to the fourth year group was active experimentation (12.0%longrightarrow41.9%). This reflects the same cycle as indicated by the experimental learning theory of Kolb. According to the study, nursing students' learning stages tended to be more unbalanced as year increases. Therefore this calls for a careful review of the current nursing curriculum.

A study on the salmonella pullorum was carried out on 15, 000 hens of breeding chicken, when examined using pullorum antigens, and 165eggs from the isolated breeding to 35among 171carriers used in o serums in Chonnam area during the period from November 22 to December 20, 1982 The results are summarized as follows 1. Distribution on the carriers of pullorum disease was investigated 171 carriers (1.1%) among 15, 000 hens examined. 2. A majority (33.3%) of group D(transovarian transmission) was observed by classification of salmonella groups in the order of group OB (18.8%), group E(18.2%), group $C_1, C_2$ (each 15.2%~), and group OA (12.7%)
This study aims to examine the family awareness and the demand for a group-based healthy family support program for current and former residents of a residential care institution, and to provide information to be utilized in the development of a comprehensive group-based family support program. To support this study, 1:1 interviews were conducted. The interviews focused on the adolescents' perception of their own families, perception of family in general, demand for a group-based healthy family support program, etc. The results of the interviews are as follows. First, as for the perception of their own families, the 'happiest' and 'saddest' experiences they reported were related to their own families for both the current and former resident adolescents of the institution. Second, as for the perception of family in general, both groups defined a healthy family as a family with members who 'help one another in times of difficulties and live happily in harmony together'. Third, regarding the educational contents that are essential to the establishment of a healthy family, a majority of the current residents answered cooking, yet a majority of former residents mentioned more practical education-such as the role of parents, child education, asset management, human relationships, and self worth enhancement, etc.
Changes in the nutritional components of Toha-jeot, salt-fermented Toha shrimp (Caridina denticulata denticulata $D_EH_{AAN}$), which was salted with a low-salt group of 15% sodium chloride (L), a high-salt group of 23% sodium chloride (H), a 50% conventional soybean sauce group (S) during long fermentation were investigated. These three groups were refrigerated at ${4\pm}1^{\circ}C$ and then taken out for analysis at three month intervals during 9 month. Even in the process of a long fermentation, the moisture containment of Toha-jeot in group L and S is 76.0~73.6% and in group H it is 70.0%, which are similar in all three groups. In case of the salinity, there was no change in groups L, H but it was lowered in group S during the fermentation. In all groups there was no change of pH. The free amino acid contents in Toha-jeot, of which ornitine, glutamic acid, leucine, alanine, lysine and valine occupy the majority, in order of abundance, increased gradually up to six months of fermentation and decreased by nine months. But free amino acid contents of S group increased continuously during the fermentation process. Hypoxanthine was altered almost among other nucleotides. ATP was not detected, IMP and inosine had disappeared after the six months for mentation. ADP was not detected after the nine months fermentation. Monoene, polyene and n-3 fatty acids were increased and saturated fatty acids were decreased in L and H groups. However, no changes of fatty acid contents in S group during fermentation were showed. The fatty acid contents of three groups, of which $C_{18:1},\;C_{16:0},\;C_{16:1}$ and $C_{20:5}$ occupy the majority, Mineral content of Toha-jeot is mainly consisted of Na, Ca, K and Mg. In the Hunter values, the redness of L group was superior to that of other groups.
The record of 137 patients with spontaneous pneumothorax seen at Busan National University Hospital during past 3years were reviewed to study the possible pathogenesis and its effective management. and the results obtained as follows; 1] The incidence of the "spontaneous" pneumothorax which developed without underlying pathology was 13-1%. The majority of those cases was considered as the result of rupture of subpleural blebs. 2] The incidence of secondary pneumothorax which developed with underlying pathology was 50.0%, in which 42.3% was combined with pulmonary tuberculosis and 8, 0% was combined with pulmonary infection. The traumatic pneumothorax was developed in 36-5% of total series. 3] In age distribution, there was pronounced difference between spontaneous and secondary pneumothorax. The majority of spontaneous pneumothorax cases was 20-30 decade and tall and tall and thin in body structure. In secondary pneumothorax, however, the incidence was relatively high in age group more than 50 years old. 4] The incidence of pneumothorax combined with pulmonary tuberculosis was particularly high in our country, and the cause of pneumothorax was seemed due to the rupture of subpleural caseous foci in some cases, but the majority was seen due to the rupture of emphysematous blebs which were formed with a pathological process of chronic tuberculosis. 5]Closed [tube] thoracotomy was the main therapeutic approach of choice in the great majority ,of pneumothorax in our series with the relapse rate of 19.6%. However, open thoracotomy and adequate surgical procedures should be undertaken in patients with continuous air leakage over 7 days and recurrent attack of pneumothorax.

The time of visiting : the 20:00 - 22:00 was the majority(16.9%). 5. By monthly and seasonal distribution ; Jan. (9.7%), Mar. and May(9% respectively, Dec. and July(6.7%) respectively. The children who visted ER in spring and autumn showed higher portion than those of summer and winter. 6. Results ; admission(27.4%), discharge(68.4%), operations(2.8%), and DOA and DAA(0.4%), The mortality of the infancy and toddler groups was 83.3%. The infancy group showed the highest rate of admission. 7. The time of staying in ER ; 1-2 hrs was the major group(23.3%) and the average was 4.6 hours. 8. By clinical departments ; Ped. was 34.4%, PS was 20.8%, Dental Surgery was 10.3% and Dermatology was 0.9%. 9. Results : 66.07% of respondents answered in use, whereas the answer that "less than 10 per 100 patient applied" was more than majority of 54.29%. The major field of treatment is addictive disorders such as smoking and the 80.11% patients got less than 3 days of treatment. Ear region was the most commonly treated area with 66.67%. Since the self removal frequency was high as 65.05% in compared to the case of visiting clinic. The rate of side effects was less than 10% (96.70%), and these side effects showed light symptoms such as "pain" (46.95%), itchiness (29.27%), flare (19.51%). The Acquired complements for improving ear acupuncture treatment was "the development of effective treatment manual" (28.57%) and "increasing insurance costs" (27.86%). Conclusions : Based on the survey, the vast majority of the TKM doctor used ear acupuncture but the frequency of use was low. We hope this study can be the basis for development of treatment manuals for various indications and safe treatment guidelines.
A study on classification of attachment on the Strange Situation was conducted. 55 infants(27 boys and 28 girls) whose attachment to mothers were assessed in the Strange Situation when they were 14 to 20 moths old The analysis was made according to Ainsworth's classificatory system as well as Main & Solomon's. The results were summarized as follows: 43 infants were identified as secure attachment (Group B) 9 infants as insecure-avoidant(Group A) and 1 infant as insecure-resistant (Group C) There were 2 infants identified as insecure-disorganized/disoriented(Group D) In the sub-classification Group B infants were classified into B1(14 infants) B2(11 infants) and B3(18 infants) Group A infants were classified into 8 A1s and 1 A2 The Group C infant was identified as C1 and B4 were found. Finally because of the majority of infants as Group B, the association between sub-classifications and infan's sex and month was examined. the result indicated no signicant relations between them.
