방사선(학)과 학생들의 전공 선택 동기 및 전공 만족도가 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Radiology Department Students' Motivation for Major Selection and Satisfaction on University Life Adjustment)

  • 본 연구는 방사선(학)과 대학생을 대상으로 전공 선택 동기 및 전공 만족도 정도를 파악하고 대학생활 적응에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 시행되었다. 2021년 6월 20일부터 7월 20일까지 부산, 경남 소재 대학에 재학 중인 1~4학년 학생 308명을 대상으로 하였다. 대학생활 적응에 영향을 미치는 요인은 사회적 동기 보다 개인적 동기로 전공 선택을 했을 경우 적응을 잘 하는 것으로 나타났으며 전공 만족도의 하부요인 중 일반 만족, 주변 관계 만족 시 대학생활 적응에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 건강한 대학생활 적응을 위해서는 학교, 교수, 학생 사이에 친밀함을 확보할 필요가 있으며 전공 만족도를 높이기 위해 급변하는 교육의 정책변화를 인지하여 학생들에게 다양한 교육을 경험할 수 있는 기회를 제공하는 것이 바람직하다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 방사선(학)과 학생들의 성공적인 대학생활을 영위할 수 있는 기초자료로 활용되길 기대한다.

간호대학생의 간호사 이미지 및 전공 만족도가 진로정체감에 미치는 영향: 전문직 자아개념의 매개효과 (Influence of nurse's image and satisfaction with the nursing major on their career identity: The mediating effect of professional self-concept)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the mediating effect of professional self-concept on the relationship between nurse's image and career identity, and between satisfaction with the nursing major and the career identity of nursing students. Methods: This study utilized a descriptive methodology, and 205 nursing students attending three universities in Busan Metropolitan City participated in it. Data were collected from self-reported questionnaires between March 26 and April 30, 2022. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, an independent t-test, analysis of variance, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and simple and multiple regression using the IBM SPSS 22.0 program and Sobel test. Results: The mean score of career identity was 2.92±0.57 out of a possible 4. Career identity showed a significantly positive correlation with nurse's image (r=.32, p<.001), satisfaction with major (r=.47, p<.001), and professional self-concept (r=.32, p<.001). Additionally, professional self-concept had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between nurse's image (Z=2.44, p<.001), satisfaction with major (Z=2.35, p<.001), and career identity. Conclusion: The results of the study show professional self-concept had a mediating effect on the relationship between nurse's image, satisfaction with the nursing major, and career identity. Based on the study's results, career identity education programs for nursing students need to include nursing image, satisfaction with major, and professional self-concept.

임상실습교육 전 간호대학생의 전공만족도, 대학생활 적응 및 간호사 이미지의 관계 (The Relationship between Nursing College Student's Major Satisfaction, Adjustment to College Life and Nurse's Image Nursing Students before Clinical Practical Education)

  • Purpose : This study was conducted to check the effect on nursing college students' major satisfaction, adjustment to college life and nurse's image nursing students before clinical practical education. Methods : The study surveyed 209 college students majoring in nursing science in the city of B for the period of April through May 2022. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 22.0 to determine the frequency, percentage ratio, average, and standard deviation. Statistical analyses included the t-test, analysis of variance, pearson's correlation coefficients. Results : As a result of this study, the average degree of satisfaction with majors was 3.88±.50, the average of college life adaptation was 3.26±.47, and the average of the nurse image was 3.90±.51. The major satisfaction according to the general characteristics of the study subjects showed a statistically significant difference in the motive for choosing a department (F=3.70, p=.003) and the thought of a nursing job (F=2.95, p=.004). The adjustment to college life according to the general characteristics of the study subjects showed a statistically significant difference in grade (F=3.50, p=.001), department selection motivation (F=2.69, p=.022) showed a statistically significant difference. The nurse image showed a statistically significant difference in residence type (F=6.00, p=.001) and nursing job thinking (F=2.11, p=.036). The correlation between the variables of the study subjects showed that major satisfaction was found to have a positive correlation with adjustment college life (r=.51, p<.001) and nurse image (r=.54, p<.001). It was found that adjustment college life had a positive correlation with the nurse image (r=.32, p<.001). Conclusion : The higher the degree of satisfaction with the major of nursing students prior to clinical practice education, the higher the degree of adaptation to college life. It is need to intervention studies that can improve the image of positive nursing.

COVID-19로 인한 비대면 교육환경에서 간호대학생의 전공만족도와 간호전문직관이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Nursing Students' Major Satisfaction and Nursing Professionalism on Career Preparation Behavior in a Non-face-to-face Educational Environment Caused by COVID-19)

  • Background: Career preparation behavior is a challenge among nursing students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Nursing students' adaptation to a non-face-to-face educational environment, lack of interaction with others, and fear of infectious disease may affect career preparation behavior. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify factors that influence the career preparation behavior in the non-face-to-face educational environment caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: Data were collected in October 2022 from 130 nursing students from a college in City A. A total of 119 questionnaires were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-tests, a one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and stepwise multiple regression. Results: The findings show that major satisfaction had a significant positive correlation with career preparation behavior (r=0.56, p<0.001). Nursing professionalism showed a significant positive correlation with career preparation behavior (r=0.57, p<0.001). The factors influencing career preparation behavior included major satisfaction, nursing professionalism, and satisfaction with clinical practice. Nursing professionalism was the most influential factor (β=0.35), followed by major satisfaction (β=0.33). Together they had an explanatory power of 37%. Conclusions: The results of this study indicate that nursing college students who experienced the COVID-19 pandemic should search for ways to increase their major satisfaction and nursing professionalism programs should be increased to improve career preparation behavior.

한식조리전공 고등학생들의 교과과정 만족도가 진로 결정에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Satisfaction with the Curriculum on Career Decisions among the Students Majoring in Korean Food)

  • 본 연구에서는 조리 관련 전문계 고등학교에서의 한식조리전공에 대한 만족도를 통하여 전공에 대한 진로 결정을 하는데 있어서 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 보고 학생들 개인별 직업 세계에 대한 정확하고 올바른 가치관을 인식시켜 학생들에게 한국음식의 우수성과 경쟁 전략 및 한국음식의 무한 가능성을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구는 문헌연구와 실증연구를 병행하였는데, 실증연구에서는 전문계 고등학생을 대상으로 현재 전공에 대한 만족도가 한식조리사의 진로 결정에 유의적인 영향을 미치는지에 대해 조사하기로 하였다. 이러한 연구를 위해 3개의 가설을 설정하였다. 연구가설 1은 조리전공 고등학생의 교과과정의 만족도(전공의 만족도, 전공의 전망성)는 진로 결정의 불안감에 유의적인 영향을 미칠 것이다. 연구가설2는 조리전공 고등학생의 교과과정의 만족도(전공의 만족도, 전공의 전망성)는 진로 결정의 갈등에 유의적인 영향을 미칠 것이다. 연구가설 3은 조리전공 고등학생의 교과과정의 만족도(전공의 만족도, 전공의 전망성)는 진로 결정의 안정감에 유의적인 영향을 미칠 것이다. 그 결과, 고등학생의 대부분이 전공과정에 대해서 비교적 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 불안감을 크게 겪고 있지는 않지만 아직까지 진로 결정에 대한 갈등을 겪고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 대해 교육과정을 통해 학생들에게 한식조리사에 대한 명확한 비전을 제시하고, 취업에 대한 길을 제시하여 주는 것이 교육과정에 중요한 과제라고 보여 진다.

외식 업체 종사자들의 전공 특성에 따른 직무 만족도 비교 (Comparison of Job Satisfaction of Employees by Major in Foodservice Industry)

  • Employee turnover and job satisfaction are the main concerns of Foodservice indusryy because of a high dependence on human resources. This study was carried out to find out the differences of job satisfaction of employees in Foodservice industry and identify the effects of job satisfaction on turnover intention by major at the college or university. In comparison of job satisfaction of employees by 3 groups of food-related majored, tourism-business majored, and other majored, there were no significant differences among groups. But in the correlation between overall and 6 factors of job satisfaction, there were all significant correlations in food-related majored and tourism-business majored employees. Employees in Foodservice industry were satisfied by different demographic characteristics according to what they majored at college. Statistically significant variables that affect to the job satisfaction were gender, employment status, length of employment, monthly income, working hour per week in the food-related majored employees and employment status in the tourism-business majored employees. Finally, among job satisfaction factors, intention to quit was negatively affected by supervision in food-related majored and tourism-business majored employees, but positively affected by job environment only in tourism-business majored employees.

일부 치위생(학)과 학생의 성격유형과 교육만족도의 관련성 (The relationship between the personality types and satisfaction of education in dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study is to investigate the relationship between the personality types and satisfaction of education satisfaction in dental hygiene students. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 898 students in Busan, Gyeongnam, and Ulsan from March 2 to 25, 2014. Data were analyzed through t-test, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The instruments used personality types and satisfaction of education. The personality types was adapted from Korean Eyesenck Personality Questionnaire that was modified by Lee on the basis of Eysenck Personality Questionnaire(Eysenck & Eysenck, 1971). The questionnaire consisted of 44 questions including extroversion factors(18 questions) and neurotic tendency(26 questions). The questionnaire was score by Likert 5 scale. Cronbach alpha was 0.835 in the study. The neurotic tendency consisted of 26 questions and the higher score showed the higher neurotic tendency. Cronbach alpha was 0.927 in the study. The instrument for satisfaction of education was adapted from Kim and Go and partly modified. The instrument was categorized into dental hygiene department satisfaction(6 questions), major satisfaction(6 questions), facilities satisfaction(4 questions), lecture satisfaction(7 questions), and faculty satisfaction(4 questions). The instrument was scored by Likert 5 scale. Cronbach alpha of education satisfaction was 0.928 in the study. Results: Extroverted students showed 3.70 point which was the highest score in the department satisfaction(p<0.001). Less neurotic students showed 3.68 point which was the highest score in the department satisfaction(p<0.001). There was a strong positive correlation between the major satisfaction and department satisfaction(p<0.01). The personality types that affected the education satisfaction were related to the extroverted students and less neurotic students(p<0.01). Conclusions: The personality types had much influences on the satisfaction of the major and academic accomplishment.

대학생들의 가치관에 따른 전공만족도와 진로성숙도에 관한 연구 - 외식.조리 전공 - (A Study on Major Satisfaction and Career Maturity according to the Values of College Students - Majoring in Food Management and Culinary Arts -)

  • 본 연구는 외식 조리전공 대학생들이 형성하고 있는 주된 가치 지향성이 전공만족도와 진로성숙에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 그리고 전공만족도가 높으면 진로성숙에 도움을 주는지를 분석하기 위해 SPSS18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석, 요인분석, 상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 외식 조리전공 대학생들의 가치관은 전공만족도와 진로성숙에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 전공만족도는 진로성숙에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 실용주의 가치관은 전공만족도와 진로성숙도를 높이는 매우 중요한 요인이며, 사회인식 요인과 교과과정 요인은 학생들이 진로를 결정하는데 매우 중요한 요인인 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 대학생들의 전공만족도와 진로성숙도를 높이기 위해서는 학생들이 자아존중 가치관을 형성할 수 있도록 하는 올바른 가치관 교육이 필요하며, 외식 조리전공 대학생들에 대한 사회의 올바른 인식과 적극적인 관심, 그리고 학생들이 전공에 대한 흥미와 새로운 경험을 가질 수 있는 이론과 실기가 적절히 배분된 교과내용 및 교과과정 편성이 필요함을 시사하고 있다.

간호대학생의 봉사활동 특성에 따른 욕구충족, 사회성, 전공만족도 연구 (A Study on College Nursing Students' Volunteering Activities, Volunteering Motivation and Needs, Sociability and Satisfaction in their Major)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate undergraduate nursing students' volunteering activities, volunteering motivation- needs, sociability and satisfaction in their major for those who take the social service activities, and to provide basic information for operating the credit system of social service activity as service-learning system. Method: This study is a descriptive study and the participants were 363 of 2nd- and 3rd-year students at a nurses' college in I City, who completed the basic course of volunteering, and the survey was conducted during April 2004. Result: The group who participated in counseling service as a volunteering activity was high in volunteering motivation-needs, sociability and satisfaction in their major. In the group who performed volunteering through circle activities, those who volunteered for children, who participated longer and who had an active attitude showed high volunteering motivation-needs. In the group who had volunteering activities during weekdays, those who took an active attitude toward volunteering showed high sociability. Those who were somewhat dissatisfied with volunteering activities, however, showed significantly high sociability. Satisfaction in the major, namely, nursing was higher in senior students, in those who participated in volunteering activities for the first time at college, those who had religion, those who are active in volunteering activities and those who were highly satisfied with volunteering activities. Considering that active attitude toward volunteering activities and high volunteering motivation-needs enhance nursing students' satisfaction in their major, it is necessary to upgrade the current volunteering activities to the level of service learning. That is, it is necessary to develop new service learning in nursing curriculum that utilizes volunteering activities as well as what they learn in major for community societies.

일개 대학 간호대학생의 전공만족도, 자기존중감, 직업가치관의 관계 (The Relationship between Major Satisfaction, Self-Esteem, Work Values of Nursing Students at one University)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 전공만족도, 자기존중감, 직업가치관의 정도 및 상관관계를 확인하기 위한 서술적 조사연구로서, 간호교육을 위한 기초자료를 제공하기 위해 시도되었다. 연구대상자는 C지역 일개 대학의 간호대학생 224명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 22.0 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도와 백분율, 평균표준편차, t-test 와 ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation Coefficients로 분석하였다. 연구결과 전공만족도는 전공결정시기(F=4.127, P=.004)에서, 자기존중감은 전공선택동기(F=7.384, P=<.001)에서, 직업가치관은 전공선택동기(F=5.023, P=<.001)와 가족 중 간호사의 유무(F=3.501, P=<.001)에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 간호대학생의 전공만족도, 자기존중감, 직업가치관은 유의한 양적 상관관계가 있었다. 본 연구결과를 통하여 간호대학생들의 전공만족도, 자기존중감, 직업가치관을 향상시킬 수 있는 교육훈련 프로그램 개발이 필요함을 제언한다.
