물리치료학과 교육과정 연구 (A Study of Physical Therapy Curriculum)

  • This research has been studied proper physical therapy curriculum to produce 21 century physical therapist according to the change of the times by industrialization and specialization. The curriculums of 13 colleges and 5 universities was analysed. The curriculum analysis was made up the comparision and the analysis by a liberal arts point the teaching profession point a major point a clinical practice paint the rates of total opening subjects. The analyzing results were as follows: 1. A point of the credits a liberal elective subject is the small number 2. To deeping of major by spreading major foundation 3. Lack of the time for the clinical practice education.

  • This research is that concern in mathematics education of Technical high school Department of Electricity in the 7th educational curriculum. we indicated problem compare 7th with 6th mathematics curriculum subject contents in Technical high school Department of Electricity. And examine major subject contents, analyzed contents of mathematics that must supplement and mathematics which use in major subject. Established contents of electricity mathematics education that need to major learning to satisfy target of technical high school technical education that is presented in the 7th training courses with this analysis. Also, we hope these results are into consideration when writing new mathematics text in Technical high school Department of Electricity.

  • The curriculum analysis of lighting design course in the Interior architecture departments in American universities reveals they share a major concern in the basic lighting theories, the sorts of light source and lighting equipment, daylighting, and interior lighting plav. The curriculum is usually composed of two semesters, the first semester being about lighting theory and simple project, while the second one abut more professional fields of design studio. The curriculum of lighting design at the Interior architecture departments in Korean colleges and universities usually consists of introductory courses in the field. Almost every institution allocated only one semester for the courses, and as the courses should cover the broad range within a short time, they were lacked in the required depth and systematic approach. The analysis also reveals the curriculum in Korea puts emphasis on the interior lighting equipment design, while disregarding the importance of daylighting. In comparison, American institutions have their curriculum focused upon the use of daylighting. The curriculum of lighting design courses in Korea, a major part of space rendering methods in the field of Interior Architecture, should be improved without delay. The courses should be included in the required subjects and the educational aims should be changed from offering a general understanding of the concepts to providing professional knowledge and skills, which would contribute to the competitiveness of the departments.

RN-BSN 학생 요구에 근거한 교육과정 개선방안 연구 (A Study on Plans for Improvement of RN-BSN Curriculum Based on the Needs of the Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to assess the needs of RN-BSN students concerning the RN-BSN curriculum and make suggestions for improvement in the curriculum based on the needs of the students. Method: A descriptive survey study was used. Data were collected from 707 RN-BSN senior students in 21 universities. The research instrument, which was developed after in-depth interviews with 13 RN-BSN students, consisted of 10 curriculum objectives, 34 cultural courses, 48 major courses, three questions on clinical practicum, and teaching methods for 5 required courses. Result: The curriculum objectives selected by the RN-BSN students were problem solving, clinical applicability, critical thinking, creative thinking, and decision making. They wanted cultural courses such as English, understanding of human behavior, social welfare, women's studies, psychology, nutrition science, leadership, recreation, computer applications, exercise and health. They wanted major courses to include the nursing process, nursing research, health assessment, advanced adult nursing, infection control, spiritual/hospice nursing, and nursing of cancer patients. They responded that a clinical practicum was not necessary. They wanted to experience various teaching methods according to particular characteristics of subject being taught. Conclusion: This study suggests some recommendation for improvement of the curriculum based on the needs of RN-BSN students.

실내디자인 교육의 친환경 교육과정 현황에 관한 연구 -4년제 대학교의 교육과정을 중심으로- (A Study on the eco-friendly design curriculum in the interior design education - Focus on the curriculum of 4year Universities -)

  • The concern and recognition of the energy, environment, conservation of natural resources of the world today are raising, and sustainable development can't be considered in a way of separating development from environment any more. For sustainable development, a new educational infrastructure construction and paradigm coping with new environment through the whole education are needed. Accordingly, this research analyzed eco-friendly design curriculum among interior design major of 4year universities to help with reestablishing educational goal as a model for eco-friendly design curriculum development. According to this research, environment related subject were 91, the rate of 16.4% among total 1492 interior designs major, and among them, eco-friendly design related subjects were 15, which is the 6.4% of 91 environment related subjects, and which is 1.0% among total interior designs, through which we could see that eco-friendly design related subjects were very light weight in the total interior designs. So, the reasonable and concrete reform of eco-friendly design related subjects in 4year universities interior design curriculum seems to be urgent, and diverse eco-friendly design related subjects needed to be developed and established.

Student Factors on Employment of Engineering Graduates: A Korean University Case

  • This study analyzes the determinants on employment of 4-year college graduates. Data were collected from nine semesters from 2009 to 2014 totaling 4,176 engineering graduates of University ‘A’ in the capital area of Korea. Employment is analyzed on three levels reflecting the quality of employment such as total employment, preferred jobs and the top 500 companies. Eighteen variables were divided into four categories such as private attributes, curriculum activities, non-curriculum activities, and job preparation activities. The Hierarchical Logistic Regression Model was used. The results are as follows: top determinants included in each definition of employment are departments group, gender, employment program, and internship program. Also, grade points in major and basic courses were added as a result of curriculum activities. There is no statistical significance in household income, club activities and employment preparation activities. Also, the curriculum for major intensive courses and multi-majoring imposed by the university are not effective.

  • 우리나라 전문계 고등학교 학생의 저하된 학력 수준과 이에 대한 세심한 고려가 충분하지 못한 교육과정을 기반으로 이루어지고 있는 교육 현실로부터 교수학습 개선의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 2007 개정 교육과정에 맞춘 공업계 고등학교의 전문 교과와 수학 교과의 내용을 실제 운영 중인 전문계 고등학교의 학교 교육과정을 교과서를 중심으로 분석하고 연관성을 탐색하였다. 그 결과 학교 교육과정 구성 시 전문 교과와 수학 교과에 대한 연관성을 고려하여 전공별 차별성을 두어 구성하여야 함을 알 수 있었고, 전문 교과의 교과서 내용 구성 시수학 교육과정의 측면에서의 검토가 미흡한 측면이 발견되었으므로 교육과정 및 교과서 개선이 필요한 것으로 분석되었다. 이에 따라 전문 교과와 수학 교과와의 연관성이 긴밀하므로, 공업계 고등학교에서 현장 교사들은 교과 간의 연관성을 인식하고 교수학습 개선을 할 필요가 있다.

2007년 개정 과학과 교육과정의 주요 내용의 실행에 관한 과학 교사의 인식 (Science Teachers' Perception on Major Features of the 2007 Revised Science Curriculum for Class Implementation)

  • 본 연구에서는 현직 과학교사를 대상으로 2007년 개정 과학과 교육과정의 주요 특징의 수업 실행에 대한 인식을 파악하였다. 2007년 개정 과학과 교육과정의 주요 특징으로 창의성, 자유탐구, 과학글쓰기, 토론, STS를 다루었으며, 각 특징에 대해 교육과정의 실행을 위한 내적 특징인 필요성, 명료성, 복잡성을 기준으로 교사의 인식을 탐색하였다. 또, 2007년 개정 과학과 교육과정의 주요 내용 중에서, 특히 최소 6차시가 배정되어 실시될 예정인 자유탐구의 실행과 관련하여 교사들의 준비 및 실행에 대한 인식을 살펴보았다. 연구의 결과로서, 과학 교사들은 2007년 개정 과학과 교육과정의 주요 내용 즉, 창의성, 자유탐구, 과학글쓰기, 토론, STS를 수업에서 실행하는 것이 중요하고 필요하지만, 대체로 명료하지는 않으며, 많은 어려움이 있다고 보았다. 특히, 자유탐구의 경우 다른 주요 내용보다 더 부정적으로 인식하고 있으며, 실행 어려움의 이유는 매우 다양하고 복합적으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로, 교육과정 변화 내용을 교실 수업 현장에서 구현하기 위해서, 교육과정 개발자와 교육과정 실행자 간의 인식의 간극을 줄이고 교사의 교육과정에 대한 유의미한 해석과 실천을 높이기 위해‘이중 실행연구’(Dual Action Research) 모형을 제안하였다.

대학의 실무 융합교육을 위한 융합모듈 교육 전략 (Educational Strategy for Practical Convergence using Module Curriculum in University)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 융합적 인재를 필요로 하는 4차 산업혁명시대를 대비하여 다방면 전공 분야의 핵심적인 내용을 실무 융합적으로 교육시킬 수 있는 대학교육 전략을 제안하는 것이다. 먼저, 교육 과정에 기존의 전공영역과 교양영역 이외에 융합영역을 새롭게 신설하고, 둘째, 기업실무와 연계하여 타 전공학생들만을 위한 전공교과목인 융합교과목을 개설하고, 셋째, 융합교과목을 4개씩 묶어서 융합모듈의 형태로 하여 하나의 독립된 교육과정으로 개설한다. 지방사립대학인 D대학에서는 2016년도부터 이러한 융합모듈 교육을 실시하였으며 평균 수강생 수, 수강률 및 강의만족도 등에서 만족스러운 결과를 얻었다. 이러한 융합모듈들을 다양하게 조합하면 지역 기업이 요구하는 기업설계맞춤전공을 저비용으로 수월하게 창출할 수 있다.

추나의학 관련과목 개설현황 조사 (Curriculum Analysis of Chuna Manual Medicine in Korea)

  • Objectives: The aim of this study was to investigate the curriculum of Chuna manual medicine (CMM)-related subjects in oriental medicine college and to let CMM have opportunities to develope current curriculum and basic circumstance for CMM. Methods: Questionnaire was obtained from 11 oriental medicine college and 1 school of Korean medicine, Pusan National University, bye-mail. If there was any insufficient information from response, we asked more information by direct call. Results and Conclusions: The findings from our study can be summarized as follows: 1. There are three CMM-related subjects, CMM, Oriental Rehabilitation Medicine (ORM) and Neuromusculoskeletology(NMS). All curriculums of 8 colleges belonged to classification I have CMM and DRM courses. Curriculums of 4 colleges belonged to classification II, have ORM or NMS course without CMM course. 2. 10 colleges of 11 ones which have ORM course, have major compulsory courses, 1 college has a major optional course. 5 colleges of 8 ones which have CMM course, have major compulsory courses, 3 colleges have major optional courses. 2 colleges have only part-time lecturers for CMM course, other 2 college have cooperation of specialized professors and part-time lecturers, another 8 colleges have only specialized professors. 3. Most CMM-related subjects is teached at 3 or 4 grade of medical course. The units taken for CMM-related subjects is minimum 4 units to maximum 8 units in total about 160 units. 4. Total class hour for CMM-related subjects is minimum 120 hours to maximum 225 hours, and practice hours is about minimum 30 hours to maximum 75 hours. 5. The systematic regulation and financial support is needed for patients to get the best CMM treatment, because the present curriculum of CMM is insufficient for carrying out the best manual therapy for patients.
