관절경 하 회전근 개 파열의 봉합에서 광범위 근개 봉합법의 이용 (Use of Massive Cuff Stitch in Arthroscopic Repair of Rotator Cuff Tears)

  • Purpose: To evaluate the integrity of repair & technical tip in use of Massive Cuff Stitch at arthroscopic repair of rotator cuff tear. Materials and Methods: Twenthy-nine cases of arthroscopically repaired full thickness tear of rotator cuffs which are medium sized were evaluated. Between December 2004 to September 2005 we have studied, the average age 53($42{\sim}69$) years old, mean follow-up was 15($12{\sim}21$) months. We analyzed the results statistically by paired t-test. The integrity of repair were verified by follow up MRI which were checked 11 cases and ultrasound which were checked 10 cases. Results: VAS of pain improved preoperative average 7.1 to postoperative 0.9, ADL improved 11.2 to 25.6 respectively, UCLA improved 13.7 to 32.9(all, P<0.05). 89.7% showed excellent & good results at the final follow-up. The satisfied rate was 93.1%(27 cases). There was re-rupture of the repaired rotator cuff in one case out of 11 cases which were checked by MRI, and in one case out of 10 cases which were checked by ultrasound, and there was one case of thinning of cuff which were checked by ultrasound. Conclusion: The use of Massive Cuff Stitch in arthroscopic repair of rotator cuff tear have been reduced technical failure. It will be good surgical technique which maintain the integrity of repairs.

  • This present paper mainly contains adhesion part disconnection type exposure composition waterproof method using embossing PVC sheet. The existing polymer resin coating and sheet waterproofing construction method have, however, some weak point such as being decrease life cycle of concrete with water leaking from materials be affected by crack and movement dash bond concrete through the whole-adhere construction. Above the reason, this paper has particular method increasing crack-defending performance from stress occurred concrete movement by part disconnection, adds maintain waterproofing performance subordinate sheet, that can be contributed a convenience of maintenance which is decreasing industrial waste and repair construction cycle through the part repair in case of leaking water.

  • Building Information Modeling (BIM) is an effective decision-making platform that helps to save project cost and enhance quality of construction. By generating and linking a wide variety of objects data, BIM can be effectively utilized, and it should be ensured that object properties maintain consistency throughout the project period of design, estimates, construction, maintenance and repair. This study examined how to utilize BIM data in a construction project, by linking cost and schedule data in web environment, to better utilize the information and maintain consistency of the BIM information. To do so, the model integrated WBS data and CBS data, linked them with BIM model to realize 5D simulation in web environment. As a result, cost and schedule data could be simultaneously acquired, and object properties-cost, schedule, location-as well. These are expected to contribute to developing a BIM-based automatic data-processing system in web environment.

The carbonation velocity is produced an effect on carbon dioxide density of surrounding near structures, the concrete quality Therefore, This study compares the Velocity of carbonation due to maintenance of the structure. Also, this study will find Service Life of Concrete Structure through Predicting Carbonation Depth.

회전근 개 파열 봉합술에서의 최신 지견 (What's New in Rotator Cuff Repair)

  • 회전근 개 파열의 봉합술은 최근 들어 괄목할만한 발전을 보여주고 있다. 회전근 개 파열의 자연사를 관찰하면 대부분의 경우에서 시간이 지남에 따라 크기가 증가하는 양상이 관찰되었다. 회전근 개 파열의 후기에 오는 지방 침윤 및 광범위 회전근 개 파열 후 발생하는 회전근 개 파열 관절증은 회전근 개 파열의 봉합술에서 예후를 예측하거나 수술 시기를 결정하는데 중요한 요소라 할 수 있다. 회전근 개 파열시 증상 발생 후 3년 뒤에 중등도의 지방 침윤이 발생하는 것으로 관찰되어 그 이전에 회전근 개 파열의 봉합술을 시행하는 것이 추천되고 있으며, 또한 회전근 개 파열 관절증에서도 견봉상완골 간격이 감소하기 전에 봉합술을 하는 것이 권장되고 있다. 회전근 개 파열의 관절경하 봉합술은 크게 일열 봉합술 및 이열 봉합술로 나눌 수 있으며, 시간과 비용 면에서는 전자가 장점이 있으나, 생역학적이 관점에서는 후자가 더 우수하다. 이열 봉합술의 생역학적인 장점을 유지하면서 보다 적은 시간에 회전근 개의 봉합을 가능하게 한 교량형 봉합술이 개발되어 최근 널리 사용되고 있으며, 교량형 봉합술 내에서도 파열의 특성에 따라 몇 가지 다른 술식이 개발되어 사용되고 있다.

  • The purpose of the study is to derive maintenance items in dwelling unit of apartment after the liability period for defect security. In according with the Apartment Housing Management, the managers of apartment maintain facilities in public and develop a long-term repair plan. However, Apartment unit housing is a private area and is managed facilities individually by residents or owners. As the facility ages, it is necessary to derive items in dwelling unit of apartment that need to maintain performance. Therefore, this paper analyzed the history of repairing facilities through complaints about rental housing units.

  • Reinforcement corrosion is major problem for those who own and maintain reinforced concrete structures exposed to chlorides. It is well understood that the form of corrosion is more problematic than corrosion found elsewhere, Because concrete has no apparent signs that there is anything amiss until the process of deterioration is relatively far advanced. The objective of this research is to develop the ladder system which monitors the corrosion of reinforcing steels in concrete. This system can be used to assess the corrosion condition and corrosion rate of steel in concrete, which can give timely repair and strengthening of steel in concrete structure.

Improving the Performance of AODV(-PGB) based on Position-based Routing Repair Algorithm in VANET

  • Vehicle ad hoc networks (VANET) are one of the most important technologies to provide various ITS services. While VANET requires rapid and reliable transmission, packet transmission in VANET is unstable because of high mobility. Many routing protocols have been proposed and assessed to improve the efficiency of VANET. However, topology-based routing protocols generate heavy overhead and long delay, and position-based routing protocols have frequent packet loss due to inaccurate node position. In this paper, we propose a position-based routing repair algorithm to improve the efficiency of VANET. This algorithm is proposed based on the premise that AODV (-PGB) can be used effectively in VANET, if the discovery, maintenance and repair mechanism of AODV is optimized for the features of VANET. The main focus of this algorithm is that the relay node can determine whether its alternative node exits and judge whether the routing path is disconnected. If the relay node is about to swerve from the routing path in a multi-hop network, the node recognizes the possibility of path loss based on a defined critical domain. The node then transmits a handover packet to the next hop node, alternative nodes and previous node. The next node repairs the alternative path before path loss occurs to maintain connectivity and provide seamless service. We simulated protocols using both the ideal traffic model and the realistic traffic model to assess the proposed algorithm. The result shows that the protocols that include the proposed algorithm have fewer path losses, lower overhead, shorter delay and higher data throughput compared with other protocols in VANET.

  • After Fukushima nuclear accident at 2011, nuclear industrial has been focused on operation and maintenance phase, not design and construction phase. Continued good operating performance of nuclear power plants has been the best critical issue to nuclear utilities. Replacement for complete components as well as parts of components is being procured because nuclear utilities must maintain safety and reliability of operating nuclear power plants. However, many suppliers and manufacturers are giving up a nuclear quality assurance program under reduction in new construction of nuclear power plants. It is able to be increased difficulty in procuring spare parts to support operations and maintenance of nuclear power plants. Over 20% of nuclear power plant equipment in some countries is obsolete. Owing to obsolescence of nuclear safety-related items and/or withdrawing a nuclear quality assurance program of suppliers and manufactures, some replacement item and part might be procured to the item not covered by appendix B to USNRC 10 CFR Part 50. Under various methods of the nuclear repair and replacement methodology, utilities are supposed to establish a typical program for a repair and replacement of an electrical equipment and its parts in conjunction with a nuclear quality assurance. Concerning this typical program, this study suggests the repair and replacement methodology of electrical equipments used in nuclear power plants by procurement of a power supply, based on nuclear regulations, codes, standards, guidelines, specific and general technical information, etc..
