  • The purpose of this research paper is to depict the thermomechanical interactions in transversely isotropic magneto thermoelastic solid with two temperatures and without energy dissipation in generalized LS theories of thermoelasticity. The Laplace and Fourier transform techniques have been used to find the solution of the problem. The displacement components, stress components, and conductive temperature distribution with the horizontal distance are computed in the transformed domain and further calculated in the physical domain numerically. The effect of two temperature and relaxation time are depicted graphically on the resulting quantities.

  • The present research deals with the time-harmonic deformation in transversely isotropic magneto thermoelastic solid with two temperature (2T), rotation due to inclined load and laser pulse. Generalized theory of thermoelasticity has been formulated for this mathematical model. The entire thermo-elastic medium is rotating with uniform angular velocity and subjected to thermally insulated and isothermal boundaries. The inclined load is supposed to be a linear combination of a normal load and a tangential load. The Fourier transform techniques have been used to find the solution to the problem. The displacement components, stress components, and conductive temperature distribution with the horizontal distance are computed in the transformed domain and further calculated in the physical domain using numerical inversion techniques. The effect of angle of inclination of normal and tangential load for Green Lindsay Model and time-harmonic source for Lord Shulman model is depicted graphically on the resulting quantities.

  • The present research deals in two dimensional (2D) transversely isotropic magneto generalized thermoelastic solid without energy dissipation and with two temperatures due to time harmonic sources in Lord-Shulman (LS) theory of thermoelasticity. The Fourier transform has been used to find the solution of the problem. The displacement components, stress components and conductive temperature distribution with the horizontal distance are calculated in transformed domain and further calculated in the physical domain numerically. The effect of two temperature are depicted graphically on the resulting quantities.

  • The thermomagnetic effect on plane wave propagation at the liquid-solid interface with nonclassical thermoelasticity is investigated. It is assumed that liquid-solid half-space is under initial stress. Numerical computations are performed for the developed amplitude ratios of P, SV and thermal waves under Cattaneo-Lord-Shulman theory, Green-Lindsay theory and classical thermoelasticity. The system of developed equations is solved by the application of the MATLAB software at different angles of incidence for Green and Lindsay model. The effect of initial stress and magnetic field in the lower half-space are discussed and comparison is made in LS, GL and CT models of thermoelasticity. In the absence of magnetic field, the obtained results are in agreement with the same results obtained by the relevant authors. This study would be useful for magneto-thermoelastic acoustic device field.

  • In this article, we have examined the effect of fractional order parameter in a two-dimensional orthotropic magneto-thermoelastic solid in generalized thermoelasticity without energy dissipation with fractional order heat transfer in the context of hall current, rotation and two-temperature due to normal force. Laplace and Fourier transform techniques are used to obtain the solution of the problem. The expressions for displacement components, stress components, current density components and conductive temperature are obtained in transformed domain and then in physical domain by using numerical inversion method. The effect of fractional parameter on all the components has been depicted through graphs. Some special cases are also discussed in the present investigation.

  • The present research is to study the effect of inclined load in a two-dimensional homogeneous orthotropic magneto-thermoelastic solid without energy dissipation with fractional order heat transfer in generalized thermoelasticity with two-temperature. We obtain the solution to the problem with the help of Laplace and Fourier transformations. The field equations of displacement components, stress components and conductive temperature are computed in transformed domain. Further the results are computed in physical domain by using numerical inversion method. The effect of fractional order parameter and inclined load has been depicted on the resulting quantities with the help of graphs.

  • The present study deals with wave propagation in a modified couple-stress generalized thermoelastic solid under the effect of gravity and magnetic field. The problem is solved by a refined microtemperatures multi-phase-lags thermoelastic theory. The Fourier series and Laplace transforms will be used to obtain the general solution for any set of boundary conditions. Some comparisons have been shown in figures to estimate the effects of the gravity field, the magnetic field, and different theories of thermoelasticity in the presence of the hall current effect on all the physical quantities. Some particular cases of special interest have been deduced from the present investigation.

  • Here, in this research we have studied a two dimensional problem in a homogeneous orthotropic magneto-thermoelastic medium with higher order dual-phase-lag heat transfer with combined effects of rotation and hall current in generalized thermoelasticity due to time harmonic sources. As an application the bounding surface is subjected to uniformly distributed and concentrated loads (mechanical and thermal source). Fourier transform technique is used to solve the problem. The expressions for displacement components, stress components and temperature change are derived in frequency domain. Numerical inversion technique has been used to obtain the results in physical domain. The effect of frequency has been depicted with the help of graphs.

  • The present research is focused on the study of plane harmonic waves in a two-dimensional orthotropic magneto-thermoelastic media with fractional order theory of generalized thermoelasticity in the light of two-temperature and rotation due to time harmonic sources. Here, we studied three types of waves namely quasi-longitudinal (QL), quasi-transverse (QTS) and quasi thermal (QT) waves. The variations in the wave properties such as phase velocity, attenuation coefficient and specific loss have been noticed with respect to frequency for the reflected waves. Further the value of amplitude ratios, energy ratios and penetration depth are computed numerically with respect to angle of incidence. The numerical simulated results are presented graphically to show the effect of fractional parameter based on its conductivity (0<α<1 for weak, α=1 for normal, 1<α≤2 for strong conductivity) on all the components.
