물류성과에 영향을 미치는 물류정보특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Logistics Information Characteristic Influencing Logistics Performance)

  • These days business logistics has become one of the very important factors of logistics cost reduction and customer service satisfaction. In order to control business logistics more effectively, many companies must be concerned about logistics performance.This study aims at analyzing information system characteristic and logistics performance. The information system characteristic variables are considered IS resource, IS strategic role. The logistics performance variables are considered logistic cost, customer service.For data on the 301 sampled company, a mail survey using a questionnaire was conducted in this study. The following results were obtained.First, IS characteristic variables were significant for logistics performance. Specially, efficient management of IS manpower and IS planning, present IS were significant for logistics performance. Second, there also were IS manpower and IS planning, present IS that indentifing high logistics performance group and low logistics performance group.

IT와 물류서비스 관계에서 커뮤니케이션의 역할에 관한 연구 (The Role of Communication in Linking IT and Logistics Service)

  • Product-related services in manufacturing industry are different from typical services in service industry. Product-related services ensure proper product functioning, provide additional repurchase, and offer attractive margin Product-related services in manufacturing industry are not core activity but taking supporting roles, while services in typical service industry are core parts. The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of communication in linking IT and product-related logistics service in manufacturing industry. The relationships among IT, communication, logistics service and business performance are explored using a path analysis. The empirical research reveals that higher degree of IT usability leads to increased communication, and in turn, communication affects logistics service, and ultimately business performance. In addition, this study shows communication plays an intermediate role in linking IT to logistics service.

  • The Internet has been identified as the worlds fastest growing marketplace with seemingly limitless opportunities for marketing products and services. Logistics service quality is considered an essential strategy for success and survival in today's internet environment. Logistics excellence has become a powerful source of competitive differentiation within diverse marketing offerings of internet firms. The quality of logistics service performance is a key marketing component that helps create customer satisfaction. As the business environment has changed, the operations based definition of logistics service have evolved. The objective of this study is to examine the logistics service quality in internet shopping mall and the impact of logistics service quality on customer satisfaction. The quality factors of logistics service in this study are consist of five quality factor. The survey result is drive from a man experienced in used internet shopping mall. The finding suggest that logistics service quality of five factor had a positive effort on customer satisfaction. Specifically, timeliness had the most consistent positive effort on customer satisfaction.

  • In this study, we will conduct an empirical study to see how the 3PL firm's logistics service quality and relationship orientation affects the supply chain performance. To examine the research model and hypotheses, we have used an empirical method based on the field survey in which most of measurements used and verified in previous studies are selected as measurements. The results of our empirical study can be summarized as follows: First, it can be shown that higher level of logistics service quality not only affects satisfaction and relationship orientation positively, but also improves supply chain performance. Second, it can be also shown that satisfaction for logistics service quality affects relationship orientation between shipper and 3PL firm positively. Finally, it can be shown that relationship orientation affects supply chain performance positively. This paper presents much implications both theoretical and practical side.

물류기업의 혁신활동이 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on the Effect of Logistics Firm's Innovation Activities on Business Performance)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 물류기업의 혁신활동이 혁신성과와 서비스품질의 개선에 영향을 미치는지 여부와 혁신활동을 통해 창출된 혁신성과와 서비스품질이 물류기업의 경영성과에 영향을 미치는지를 분석하는데 있다. 우선 혁신활동, 혁신성과에 관련된 이론과 선행연구를 분석하였다. 그리고 혁신성과와 함께 서비스품질의 개선에 관한 선행연구들도 분석하였다. 이를 근거로 연구모형과 가설을 설정하였다. 이를 분석하기 위해, 한국노동연구원의 사업체패널 자료를 활용했고, 총 88개의 샘플을 사용하였다. 이를 바탕으로 구조방정식 분석을 위해 PLS를 이용하였다. 실증분석 결과, 물류기업의 혁신활동은 혁신성과와 서비스품질개선의 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 혁신성과와 서비스품질은 재무성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결과적으로 물류기업에게 혁신활동은 물류기업에게 뚜렷한 경쟁우위를 가져다주고, 서비스품질의 개선을 가져다주게 된다. 이는 물류기업이 경쟁에서 승리하고 생존하기 위해서는 꾸준한 혁신활동이 필요하다는 것을 실증적으로 보여주었다.

  • The firms aim to acquire services and costs advantage from logistics outsourcing strategy. But it is very important to select optimum service provider. A checklist of the criteria for the evaluation of service providers follows : service quality, low cost, logistics information system, service network, financial stability, investments in plant and equipment, management attitude and lookout for the future strategic fit, cultural and psychological barriers etc. Also, a 8-step implement of logistics outsourcing strategy will be of help for maximizing benefits of logistics outsourcing. It follows : 1-step : logistics environment analysis, 2-step : check service provider availability, 3-step : logistics outsourcing determinant analysis, 4-step : select of optimum service provider, 5-step : contract with optimum service provider, 6-step : identify of remaining barriers, 7-step : performance of logistics outsourcing, 8-step : evaluation.

  • 본 연구는 물류 서비스 품질 인식이 물류성과를 매개하여 철도물류의 지속적 이용에 미치는 영향을 연구하고자 하였다. 분석결과 경제품질, 정보품질, 관계품질이 물류성과를 완전 매개하여 지속적 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 철도물류의 지속적 이용의도 모형을 제안하였다. 본 연구결과는 철도물류의 지속적 이용은 철도물류 이용으로 인한 물류성과로 인해 형성되는 것을 알 수 있으며, 이를 위해서 이용고객의 경제품질, 정보품질과 관계품질에 대한 인식을 높일 수 있는 서비스 개선이 필요하다는 실무적 방향을 제시하였다.

Customer Loyalty and Logistics Service Performance in Maritime Transport : A Literature Review and Conceptual Model

  • To achieve a differential advantage over competitors and protect their long-term interest, shipping lines have striven to find ways to maintain an ongoing relationship with shippers which can be achieved by attaining their loyalty. The benefits of loyal shippers are potentially huge in that they generate long-term revenue streams as well as provide cost savings as compared with attracting new shippers. Logistics service provided by shipping lines is identified as one of the effective tools for building customer loyalty. However, in a review of the literature none of the studies examine how logistics service creates customer loyalty, particularly between shipping lines and shippers. Consequently, the overarching purpose of this paper is to extend knowledge on logistics service performance and its relationship with customer loyalty in the unique context of maritime transport by proposing a new conceptual model based on an extensive literature review. The major contribution is to offer a new insight into the complex relationships between those 'soft' concepts in the context of maritime transport.

제3자물류기업 선정요인이 물류성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : 물류환경요인에 의한 조절효과를 중심으로 (A study on the Influence of Logistic Performance with Factors of Choosing the Third Party Logistics company : Focused on the Using Regulation effect of Logistics Performance)

  • 본 논문은 제조기업이 제3자물류를 활용하는 사례가 증가하고 있고, 그에 따라 제3자물류기업 선정요인이 물류성과에 미치는 영향을 확인하고 이와 더불어 변화하는 물류환경요인에 따라 제3자물류기업 선정요인과 물류성과에 어떠한 영향이 있는지 확인하였다. 그 결과 제3자물류 선정요인중 서비스요인과 명성요인은 물류성과에 영향이 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한, 물류환경을 이용해 조절효과를 측정한 결과 제3자물기업 선정요인중 서비스요인은 물류환경요인 중 고객요인의 조절효과에 의해 물류성과에 영향을 미치고, 제3자물류기업 선정요인 중 명성요인은 물류환경요인 중 글로벌요인과 정보시스템요인의 조절효과에 의해 물류성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다.

공급사슬지향성과 스마트물류플랫폼을 활용한 물류서비스 네트워크와 해외시장 성과 관계에 관한 연구 (Relationship between Supply Chain Orientation, Smart Logistics Platform Utilization, Logistics Service Network and Foreign Market Performance)

  • 본 연구는 글로벌 시장 진출 기업을 대상으로 스마트물류플랫폼 활용의 성과를 분석하였다. 기존 연구를 기반으로 스마트물류플랫폼 활용, 공급사슬지향성, 물류서비스 네트워크 관련 문헌을 분석하였다. 해당 요인을 중심으로 공급사슬지향성에서 해외시장 성과에 이르는 경로를 구조방정식모형으로 분석하였다. 경로모형에 따라 매개효과 검증을 포함하여 9개의 가설을 설정하였다. 전체 175개 기업을 대상으로 실증분석을 수행한 후 결과를 분석하였다. 분석결과 공급사슬지향성은 스마트물류플랫폼 활용과 물류서비스 네트워크에 긍정적 영향을 보였으나 해외시장 성과에는 직접적 영향이 없었다. 스마트물류플랫폼 활용은 물류서비스 네트워크와 해외시장 성과에 모두 긍정적 영향을 나타냈으나, 물류서비스 네트워크는 해외시장 성과에 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 더불어 스마트물류플랫폼 활용은 공급사슬지향성과 물류서비스 네트워크 사이에 긍정적 매개요인임을 확인하였다.
