  • 본 논문은 거주 성능 관리 시스템을 이용하여 수원시 인계동 반경 1km지역에 대한 거주 성능 평가 적용 사례이다. 수치지도가 가지고 있는 기본 데이터를 EasyMap을 이용하여 1차, 2차의 단계로 가공한 후 Geomania를 통해 데이터베이스를 구축한다. 구축된 데이터 베이스는 거주 성능 관리 시스템을 통해 분석/평가 자료로 사용된다.

Effects of Functional Oils on Coccidiosis and Apparent Metabolizable Energy in Broiler Chickens

  • The objective of the present study was to investigate the effects of a mixture of functional oils (Essential, Oligo Basics Agroind. Ltda) on performance response of chickens challenged with coccidiosis and the determination of apparent metabolizable energy (AME), nitrogen-corrected apparent metabolizable energy (AMEn), the coefficients of protein and ether extract digestibility and intestinal morphology of broilers fed with diets containing Essential. In Exp. 1, a completely randomized design (CRD) was used, with one control diet without Essential inclusion with coccidiosis (Eimeria acervulina, Eimeria maxima, and Eimeria tenella) challenged birds and two different inclusion rates of Essential (1.5 kg/ton and 2 kg/ton) with coccidiosis-challenged and non-challenged birds for each inclusion rate, using 10 replicates and 50 birds per experimental unit. After 7 d of coccidiosis challenge, the livability was approximately 10% lower (p<0.05) for the control group. Intestinal lesion scores were lower (p<0.05) in the anterior intestine and the cecum for the chickens supplemented. Feed efficiency and growth rate were improved in birds supplemented with Essential (p<0.05) before the coccidiosis challenge and during the first 7 d post infection. In Exp. 2, a CRD was used, with one control diet without Essential inclusion and one diet with inclusion of Essential (1.5 kg/ton), using nine replications and 33 chicks per pen. The diets with Essential yielded approximately 4% higher AME (p = 0.003) and $AME_n$ (p = 0.001). Essential supplementation increased villus height in the jejunum on d 14 (p<0.05). Villus height:crypt depth ratio for the supplemented birds was larger (p<0.05) in the jejunum on d 7, larger (p<0.05) in the jejunum and ileum on d 14. In conclusion, these functional oils improved the energy utilization and the livability and decreased lesions caused by coccidiosis in supplemented birds.

  • 항만 배후지역은 역사적으로 계획된 공간이기 보다는 항만공간 개발에 의해 밀려나듯이 만들어진 공간이라고 할 수 있다. 이러한 이유로 인해 항만배후지역의 거주환경은 과거부터 현재까지 매우 열악한 실정이며, 최근 항만공간의 기능 변화에 따라 재개발 되는 사례가 늘고 있는 실정이다. 하지만 국내 항만공간 개발은 항만공간에만 국한되어 있으며 여전히 항만 배후지역의 거주환경 개선에 대한 대비는 미비한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구를 통해 항만배후지역의 거주환경 개선을 위한 도시재생 시나리오 도출을 위하여 항만 배후지역의 쇠퇴정도를 진단, 분석하였다. 이후 쇠퇴화가 진행되고 있는 항만 배후지역의 거주성 향상을 위한 도시재생 요소를 도출하고, 각 요소가 적용된 시나리오를 구축하였다.

Effects of season and breed on the reproductive performance of sheep

  • The aim of the current study was to compare the effects of season and breed on the reproductive performance of male and female sheep using 12 rams and 318 ewes of Assaf and Awassi breeds under the seasonal environmental condition of United Arab Emirates for two years. The blood level of testosterone hormone was measured monthly. Semen was collected twice a month from each male using artificial vagina and evaluated for volume, motility, livability, abnormality and concentration. The scrotal circumference and thickness as well as the left testicular length, width, height and volume were measured at one-month intervals. The level of testosterone in Assaf breed was significantly higher in autumn than winter and summer. The scrotal circumference and thickness as well as the left testicular length were significantly higher in Assaf breed than Awassi breed. While, left testicular width and volume were significantly higher in Awassi breed than Assaf breed. Scrotal circumference which was higher in spring and summer than in autumn and winter season in both breeds. The SCC of semen was significantly higher in autumn than in other seasons in both breeds. The sperm abnormality was significantly higher in summer than other seasons in both breeds. The livability was significantly lower in summer in both breeds. Fecundity and prolificacy were significantly higher in Assaf than Awassi breed during autumn season. Assaf breed showed the superior reproductive performance in the autumn season when compared with Awassi breed in the same season and other seasons. The Assaf breed tolerated the climatic conditions in UAE and kept the litter size of 1.72 in comparison to Awassi breed which showed litter size of 1.09. in conclusion, the results showed the superiority of Assaf over Awassi breed and offer a good model of breeding with increased fecundity and prolificacy specially in autumn season.

육용계에 있어서 계절 및 성별 산육능력 변화에 관한 연구 1.계절 및 연차가 산육능력에 미치는 영향 (Studies on the Change of Meat Productivies by Season and Sex in Broiler Chickens 1. Effects of season and year on meat productivity)

  • 본 연구는 육용계에 있어서 온도변화에 따르는 계절 및 암수분리사육에 따르는 성별 사육방법이 생존율, 체중, 사료섭취량 및 사료요구율 등에 미치는 효과를 구명하기 위하여 '86 ∼'89연도의 4연간의 육용계 경제능력검정성적을 3계절(봄, 여름, 겨울)과 성별(수탉, 암탉)로 분류하여 계군당 240∼360수씩 12회에 걸쳐 118계군 38,451수를 6, 7주간 조사 기록한 성적으로 분석하였던 바 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 연차별 개량정도는 생존율, 체중 및 사료요구율에서는 고도의 유의성 (P<0.01)을 나타내었으나, 사료섭취량에서는 큰 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 2. 계절별 산육능력 처리를 보면 생존율은 차이가 없지만 7주령 체중은 봄 2,320g, 겨울 2,238g 및 여름은 2,130g으로 봄에 가장 무거웠고(P<0.01), 사료섭취량도 여름에는 봄에 비해 0.9%,겨울에 비해 0.6% 적게 섭취하였으나(P<0.01), 사료요구율에서는 큰 차이가 나타나지 않았다.

토종오리 순종 2계통의 육성기 생산성 조사 (Growing performance of two pure-line Korean native ducks at growing phase)

  • This work was conducted to evaluate the hatching and growing performance of Korean Native Ducks (KND) Pure Breeding Line (PL). A total of 400 male and female pullets were produced from PL to keep in National Institute of Animal Science, Korea. Pullets were divided into 4 treatments, 5 repetitions per treatment, and 20 heads per repetition. Four treatments were compared in a $2{\times}2$ factorial arrangement with 2 groups (White strains, WW; Jade Green strains, CC) for their parents and 2 groups (male and female). Livability was not significantly different at 20 weeks among male and female of 2 strains. There was no significant difference on body weight and feed intake between WW and CC strains (P>0.05), but there was significantly different on body weight and feed intake between male and female (P<0.05). The feed conversion ratio of female was higher compared to male (P<0.05), but there was no significantly different between CC and WW strains. These results provide the basic data to develope the new strains of Korean Native Ducks.

토종닭의 산란능력 개량을 위한 이면교배조합 검정시험 (Diallel Cross Combination Test for Improving the Laying Performance of Korean Native Chickens)

  • 본 연구는 산란능력이 우수한 토종 산란형 종계를 개발하기 위하여 토착 로드종(Rhode-C, -D), 토착 레그혼종(Leghorn-F, -K) 및 한국재래계 황갈색종(KNC-Y), 총 5계통을 이용하여 5 × 5 이면교배조합(diallel cross-mating) 검정시험을 실시하였다. 생산능력의 검정은 10개 교배조합 1,060수를 대상으로 생존율, 체중, 초산일령, 난중 및 산란율을 조사하고, 조합별 생산능력 및 결합능력을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 발생 후부터 48주령까지 전체 조합의 평균 생존율은 72.1±24.0%이고, 조합 간 유의적 차이를 보이며 YC조합의 생존율이 가장 높았고, DK조합의 생존율이 가장 낮았다(P<0.01). 결합능력 분석 결과, YC조합의 일반결합능력이 가장 높게 추정되었고, YD조합은 두 계통 간 특정결합능력이 가장 높았다. 체중의 경우, 모든 측정 주령에서 조합 간 유의한 차이가 있었는데 토착 Leghorn종과의 조합 자손들이 토착 Rhode종 및 한국재래계와의 조합 자손들보다 낮은 체중을 보였다(P<0.01). 초산일령 또한 조합 간 유의한 차이를 보이며 KNC-Y와의 교잡 자손들이 토착 Rhode종과의 교잡 자손들 보다 대체로 빠른 초산을 나타내었다(P<0.01). 산란율에 있어, 평균 일계산란율은 70.7±12.0%로써, 조합 간에 유의한 차이를 보이며 이들 중 CK조합이 86%로 가장 높은 산란율을 나타내었다(P<0.01). 산란율의 일반결합능력과 특정결합능력이 조합가에 미치는 영향은 거의 비슷한 것으로 일반결합능력은 Rhode-C가 가장 우수하였고, 교배조합 간 특정결합능력은 YD조합이 가장 높게 나타났다. 시산 및 40주령 난중 모두 조합 간의 유의한 차이를 보였고(P<0.01), 토착 Rhode종과 토착 Leghorn종 간 교잡 자손의 달걀이 KNC-Y 교잡 자손들의 달걀보다 무거웠다. 이상의 결과에 따라 산란형 토종닭 종계로서 부계는 생존율이 우수하고 산란율이 양호한 YC나 YD조합이, 모계는 산란능력이 우수하며 적절한 난중을 지닌 CF와 CK조합이 가장 바람직한 조합으로 사료된다.

Welcome the Challenges and Imaging the Sky Town

  • Safety, livability, and efficiency are the three prominent problems of tall buildings, which are also the severe challenges to designers. We proposed the idea of building the sky town to solve these problems, which can be summarized in two sentences, one is tall building multi-storised, and another one is vertical facilities municipal-infrastructurised. The tall building can be horizontally cut into several multi-storey buildings by some large platforms. The platform extends a certain width to block the fire from spreading. Tall buildings are connected together as a group. One of them is a traffic core, which is used for vertical transportation and MEP. It connects to traffic center such as metro, while most of the other tall buildings' cores can be very much released, so as to achieve maximum efficiency of floor usable area and to give good traffic organization. By combining traffic core, platforms, and multi-storey buildings' inner traffic, a transportation network is formed. Finally, we refer to the design of Raffles City Chongqing to make a sketch of sky town.

홍콩 버비나하이츠(Verbena Heights) 주거단지의 특징에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Architectural Characteristics of ¡?Verbena Heights¡?Estate in Hong Kong)

  • The purpose of this study is to find the architectural characteristics of Verbena Heights, super high-rise complex housing, which has been most highly evaluated as a new town development model in Hong Kong, as a successful case of new housing type and sustainable design. The analyzed features of Verbena Heights are as follows; 1) Formation of various open spaces by a creative layout. 2) Enhancement of natural ventilation and daylighting by a linear plan instead of conventional cruciform plans. 3) Applications of integrated facade design for noise mitigation and for sunlight shading. 4) Adoption of energy-efficient devices, use of recyclable materials, and improvement of livability by a sustainable design process. These architectural characteristics provide the high-density high-rise housing with more efficient and comfortable environments for residents. And it is proved that the sustainable design can enhance the quality of dwelling environment.

일반주거지역에서의 소규모 집합주택 개발가능성 검토 및 모델 제안 (A Proposal of Urban Housing Models and a Feasibility Study for the Application of Small-scale Development in Residential Blocks)

  • The intent of this study is to investigate the feasibility of small-scale developments in residential blocks in the city, and to propose development strategies and models. This research is done on the premises that large housing developments ignore the urban structure of its own quality, whitens on-lot-based multi-unit housing developments fail to maintain amenity and livability in residential blocks. For solving these shortcomings, this research proposes the possibility of small-scale housing development models as an alternative development system. And some residential blocks were selected as case sites and analyzed into typical block types, to support the proposal of pertinent development types. Each type was investigated and discussed in terms of development feasibility and proper development strategies. Finally, three development schemes are proposed as prototypical models for the best application in residential blocks.
