대표적인 link-state 라우팅 프로토콜인 OSPF(Open Short Path First)와 IS-IS(Intermediate System Routing Protocol)는 네트워크의 환경이 변할 때 노드 간에 LSA를 플러딩하여, 정보를 교환할 수 있다.
In this paper, we research the OLSR(Optimized Link State Routing Protocol) of the mobile ad-hoc network protocols, and design the system implementation based on the Embedded Linux for the Ubiquitous Space construction. We prove the performance of proposed system in the various experiment environments through several scenarios which is about transmitting the image data on the mobile ad-hoc network environment.
According to the computerization of railway signaling systems, the interface link between these signaling equipment is also replaced by digital communication channel, expecially communication link for interface between EIS and LDTS, but there are some problems in the present state of railway signaling. First of all, different communication protocol is applied to interface between above two signaling equipment although they have same functions. The other is that the communication protocol currently used in railway field has some unreasonable points such as structure, formation of byte, error correction scheme and etc. To solve these problems, the standard communication protocol for railway signaling is designed. The structure of designed communication protocol and the results of performance analyses are represented in this paper. It will be expected the increase of safety, reliability and efficiency of maintenance of signaling system by using of the designed communication protocol for railway signaling.
In applications which are covered wide range, it is possible that one or more number of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV) squadrons are used to perform a mission. In this case, it is most important to communicate seamlessly between the UAV squadrons. In this paper, we applied the modified OLSR(OSLR-Pds) which can prediction for state of the link for the communication in UAV squadron, and applied the modified AOMDV which can build multi-path for the communication between UAV Squadrons. The mobility of nodes are modeled using Gauss-Markov algorithm, and relative speed between nodes were calculated by derive equation of movement, and thereby we can predict link state for in a squadron and between squadrons. An experiment for comparing AODV, AOMDV and the proposed routing protocol was conducted by three factors such as packet delivery ratio, end to end delay, and routing overhead. In experiment result, we make sure that the proposed protocol performance are superior in these three factors. However, if the density of the nodes constituting FANET are too low, and if the moving speed of node is very slow, there is no difference to others protocols.
In Wireless Sensor Network, various routing protocols were employed by our Research and Development community to improve the energy efficiency of a network as well as to control the traffic by considering the terms, i.e. Packet delivery rate, the average end-to-end delay, network routing load, average throughput, and total energy consumption. While maintaining network connectivity for a long-term duration, it's necessary that routing protocol must perform in an efficient way. As we discussed Optimized Link State Routing protocol between all of them, we find out that this protocol performs well in the large and dense networks, but with the decrease in network size then scalability of the network decreases. Whenever a link breakage is encountered, OLSR is not able to periodically update its routing table which may create a redundancy problem. To resolve this issue in the OLSR problem of redundancy and predict link breakage, an enhanced protocol, i.e. S-OLSR (More Scalable OLSR) protocol has been proposed. At the end, a comparison among different existing protocols, i.e. DSR, AODV, OLSR with the proposed protocol, i.e. S-OLSR is drawn by using the NS-2 simulator.
In accordance with the computerization of railway signaling systems, the interface link between the signaling systems has been replaced by a digital communication channel. At the same time, the importance of the communication link has become increasingly significant. However, there are some questionable matters in the current state of railway signaling systems in KNR. First, different communication protocols have been applied to create an interface between railway signaling systems although the protocols have the same functions. Next, the communication protocols currently used in the railway fields have some illogical parts such as structure, byte formation, error correction scheme, and so on. To solve these matters, the standard communication protocol for railway signaling systems is designed. The newly designed protocol is overviews in this paper. And the simulation is performed to analysis the performance of data link control for designed protocol. According to this simulation, it is identified that the link throughput of new protocol is improved about 10% and the frame error rate is improved than existing protocol. And it is verified the safety and liveness properties of designed protocol by using a formal method for specifying the designed protocol. It is expected that there will be an increase in safety, reliability and efficiency in terms of the maintenance of the signaling systems by using the designed communication protocol for railway signaling.

In this technical report, we have examined the basic building blocks of mobile ad-hoc networks. The paper discusses various security requirements of ad-hoc networks, attacks in ad-hoc networks, Security Implementation and Routing Protocols. The primary purpose of the paper is to address the Optimized Link State Routing (OLSR) protocol in detail, along with the various possible attacks. Finally, algorithms for securing OLSR are proposed, via the addition of digital signatures, as well as more advanced techniques such as cross checking of advertised routing control data with the node's geographical position. The main aim of this research work is the addition of security features to the existing OLSR protocol. In order to effectively design a secure routing protocol, we present a detailed literature survey of existing protocols, along with the various attacks. Based on the information gathered from the literature survey, a secure routing protocol for OLSR is proposed. The proposed secure routing protocol involves the addition of a digital signature as well as more advanced techniques such as the reuse of previous topology information to validate the actual link state. Thus, the main objective of this work is to provide secure routing and secure data transmission.
Today, the application area and scope of FANET(Flying Ad Hoc Network) has been extended. As a result, FANET related research are actively conducted, but there is no decision yet as the routing protocol for FANET. In this paper, we propose the OLSR-Pds (Prediction with direction and speed) which is added a method to predict status of link for OLSR protocol. The mobility of nodes are modeled using Gauss-Markov algorithm, and relative speed between nodes were calculated by derive equation of movement, and thereby we can predict link status. An experiment for comparing AODV, OLSR and, OLSR-Pds was conducted by three factors such as packet delivery ratio, end to end delay, and routing overhead. In experiment result, we were confirm that OLSR-Pds performance are superior in these three factors. OLSR-Pds has the disadvantage that requires time-consuming calculations for link state and required for computing resources, but we were confirm that OLSR-Pds is suitable for routing to the FANET environment because it has all the characteristics of proactive protocol and reactive protocol.
