전자펜을 활용한 인지기능장애 환자 검사 시스템 (Electronic Pen-based Cognitive Dysfunction Assessment System)

  • 본 논문은 인지기능장애를 동반한 환자를 검사하고, 재활치료와 인지기능 평가를 하는데 사용될 수 있는 전자펜 기반의 시스템을 제안하고 있다. 제안된 시스템은 기존에 병원에서 널리 사용 중인 종이와 펜을 활용한 라인추종시험(Line tracing test; LTT)을 그대로 응용함으로써, 환자와 치료사가 거부감 없이 새로운 시스템을 적용할 수 있도록 하였다. 개발된 시스템의 정확성과 효과를 검증하기 위하여 성인 남녀 20명을 대상으로 시험한 결과, 전자펜을 활용한 측정치와 사람이 직접 측정한 측정치 간의 신뢰도가 0.90으로, 효과크기는 0.38로 평가되었으며 이는 전자펜을 활용한 검사 결과를 충분히 신뢰할 수 있음을 의미한다. 이와같이 신뢰성을 유지하는 반면, 검사 결과를 산출하는 시간에 있어서 사람이 직접 산출하는 경우 평균 48.2초가 소요되는데 반하여 전자펜을 기반으로 하는 방식의 경우 실시간으로 평가 결과가 기록되며 검사 종료 후 즉시(1초이내) 결과가 산출되기 때문에 시간 효율이 높음을 확인할 수 있다. 제안된 시스템은 파킨슨병, 심장마비 등으로 인한 뇌손상 환자의 인지기능장애 검사에 활용될 수 있다.

Aspects of improving the performance of automatic driving, the followings are investigated and studied : the interface between the signal system and the vehicle, the need to improve braking system, test method of blending brakes, how to minimize the delay of commands for real-time control.   • Various walking robot platforms have been developed to carry out missions such as explorations, pass of obstacle or inspections of dangerous environments. In this work, a four legs mechanism based on Jansen mechanism is developed, which can trace a certain line. In order to maximize the tracing speed, mechanism design is performed in multiple phases using m.sketch, EdisonDesign and Arduino programs. In design process, control of power path and optimization of the locus of legs(GL/GAC) are found to be most important. A prototype model is constructed and test run to check the validity of the design optimization.

  • This paper deals with a problem for determining the bulbous bow ship from which pertains to the study of the theoretical ship form planing method. In this paper has been determined the bulbous bow ship form which is a similar in geometric particulars with the conventional liner ship G.T.10, 000 by adopting the variable method for finding the optimum ship form by A.Y.C. Lee and the streamline tracing method by T. Inui and P.C. Pien. Each resistance performance is examined by the towing test and is compared with one another. The followings are the outcome of this study: Among the 5 type models, the bulbous bow ship form M.S. B 1120 is the most excellent for the resistance performance. The effect for the wave resistance is very sharp according to the difference of the bottom flattening of theoretical ship form. The optimum value of the bulbous bow for wave resistance can be obtained by the variable method mentioned above, and for the series of(Main hull+Bulb)opt., ${\alpha}=75/25$, the value is $f{\approx}0.11$.

  • 창의력이나 문제해결력과 같은 고차원적인 사고 능력은 주어진 문제의 정 오답만으로는 진단이 어려우며, 진단을 위해서는 교수자가 학습자의 문제 해결 과정을 지켜보거나 해결 과정에 대한 학습자의 보고 과정이 요구된다. 더구나 교수자의 학습자에 대한 관찰이 불가능한 온라인 학습이나 버추얼 클래스와 같은 환경에서는 학습자의 문제 해결 과정을 평가하거나 학습자 스스로 자신의 부족한 부분을 진단하는 것은 더욱 어려워진다. 이러한 문제를 해결하는 최선의 방법은 학습자가 문제를 해결하는 동안을 추적하여 그 과정을 보고해 주는 것이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 MS 오피스군의 소프트웨어를 활용하여 주어진 문제를 해결하는 동안 학습자의 작업 내역을 트레이싱하여 최종적으로 학습자에게 자신의 부족한 부분을 진단해 주고 자신의 능숙도와 소프트웨어를 응용하여 주어진 문제를 해결하는 과정에 대한 평가를 해주는 모듈을 개발하였으며, 본 진단 모듈의 효용성 평가를 위하여 실제 MOS 시험을 준비하는 학습자 81명에 대한 적용 및 만족도 조사를 통하여 통계적으로도 유의미한 효과가 있음을 확인하였다.

  • We developed a ventricular assist device(VAD) to be used as a bridge to heart transplantation or a circulatory assist device for patients with end-stage heart disease or poor myocardial function after cardiac surgery. It is a pneumatic and diaphragm-type VAD and its stroke volume is 90 cc. The upper housing and diaphragm is made of a segmented polyurethane and the lower back plate is made of a polycarbonate. Two Carbomedics$^R$ mechanical valves are used as inlet and outlet valves. It was tested in vitro and the cardiac output of the VAD was 7 L/min at a heart rate of 70 bpm. The line pressure from a pressure transducer inserted in the pneumatic line was recorded and compared with the ideal pressure tracing.

시간효과를 고려한 절개사면 화강토의 전단특성 연구 (The Characteristics of Shear for Decomposed Granite Soils on Cutting Slope Related to Time Effects)

  • The purpose of this study was to estimate that the relations of weathering speed and shear strength of granite soil by tracing the weathering depth of granite soil from the very moment of its cutting. The results obtained this follows ; 1) The relationships among Nc, Li and CEC, Li>6%, CEC>14 corresponds to Nc=2~30, and 4%${\phi}$)increases at a standard pressure. 3) And Nc=0~50 corresponds to $27{\sim}50^{\circ}$ of internal fiction angle and to 12~49kPa of cohesion. That is to say, internal friction angle(${\phi}$)corresponds better than cohesion(c). In conclusion, this study suggests that in simplified dynamic cone penetration test a penetration boundary line of 5 centimeters is decided at around Li=4%, CEC=3(meq/100g) which is classified as a completely weathering soil. It also appears that CEC increases as Li increases while Nc decreases.

  • There have been many studies on extracting building boundaries from LiDAR(Light Detection And Ranging) data. In such studies, points are first segmented, then are further processed to get straight boundary lines that better approximate the real boundaries. In most research in this area, processes like generalization or regularization assume that buildings have only right angles, i.e. all the line segments of the building boundaries are either parallel or perpendicular. However, this assumption is not valid for many buildings. We present a new approach consisting of three steps that is applicable to more complex building boundaries. The three steps consist of boundary tracing, generalization, and regularization. Each step contains algorithms that range from slight modifications of conventional algorithms to entirely new concepts. Four typical building shapes were selected to test the performance of out new approach and the results were compared with digital maps. The results show that the proposed approach has good potential for extracting building boundaries of various shapes.

  • Most of the fossil power plants firing lower grade coals are challenged with maintaining good combustion conditions while maximizing generation and minimizing emissions. In many cases significant derate, availability losses and increase in unburned carbon levels can be attributed to poor combustion conditions as a result of poorly controlled local fuel and air distribution within the boiler furnace. The poor combustion conditions are directly related to the gas flow deviation in upper furnace and convection tube-bank but a less reported issue related to in large-scale oppose wall fired boilers. In order to develop a on-line combustion monitoring system and suggest an alternative heat flux estimation method at tube bank, which is very useful information for boiler design tool and blower optimizing system, field test was conducted at operating power boiler. During the field test the exhaust gases' temperature and tube metal temperature were monitored by using a spatially distributed sensors grid which located in the boiler's high temperature vestibule region. At these locations. the flue gas flow is still significantly stratified, and air in-leakage is minimal which enables tracing of poor combustion zones to specific burners and over-fire air ports. Test results showed that the flue gas monitoring method is more proper than metal temperature distribution monitoring for real time combustion monitoring because tube metal temp. distribution monitoring method is related to so many variables such as flue gas, internal flow unbalance, spray etc., Heat flux estimation at the tube bank with flue gas temp. and metal temp. data can be alternative method when tube drilling type sensor can't able to use.
