온라인 커뮤니티를 이용한 미숙아 퇴원교육 프로그램의 효과 (Effects of a Discharge Education Program Using On-line Community for Parents of Premature Infants)

  • Purpose: This study was done to examine effects of a discharge education program using on-line community on parenting stress, baby care confidence for mothers of premature infants and health problem of premature infants. Methods: Using a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design, 32 participants were assigned to an experimental (17) or a control group (15). Mothers in the experimental group were introduced to the discharge education program 2 weeks before the baby was discharged. They participated in the on-line community for 4 weeks after discharge. Parenting Stress Index and Baby Care Confidence Scale were utilized for data collection. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, $X^2$-test, Fisher's exact test, and Mann-Whitney U test with the SPSS program 16.0 version. Results: In the experimental group, mean scores for parenting stress were lower than for the control group (Z=-3.176, p=.001), while scores for confidence in baby care were higher than for the control group (Z=-3.195, p=.001). Conclusion: Findings indicate that discharge education programs using on-line community have the positive effect of decreasing parenting stress and increasing baby care confidence for mothers and decreasing health problems for infants. Therefore utilization of the internet and online community to educate parents of premature infants is recommended.

  • It is necessary to perform a study on the interrace between a G7 pantograph and a KTX catenary system prior to G7 on-line tests in the Korea High Speed Test Track in order to predict how high current collection quality can be obtained during the on-line tests and check if safety problems shall be caused b)Y the tests or not. According to the simulation results, current collection quality of the G7 pantograph at 350km/h is lower than that of a GPU pantograph at 300km/h, but the contact wire uplifts and average contact forces are within the safe-zone. In addition, the ratio of running speed (350km/h) to safe running. Therefore, the G7 on-line tests at 350km/h in the Korea High Speed Test Track is expected not to cause the safety problem.

  • Since a long time ago, many railway engineers analyze and discuss the interface between the sub-system of railway, such as a wheel/rail interface, pantograph/catenary interface etc. The verifying of the system interface could help to achive the optimized performance and safety of the railway system considering that the railway system is constructed by various engineerings, such as civil, mechanical, electrical, etc. A rolling stock with distributed drive system, which will be developed by HEMU-400x project, is capable of running on high speed line and conventional line in Korea. To verify the performance of rolling stock, test run will be done with revenue service line. And the test items of the system interface have to be selected to verify a functional compatibility and physical force between rolling stock and infrastructure. In this paper, the authors will indicates the test items to verify system interface. To achive the conclusion, the authors analyze a specification of the development train and the design value of Seoul-Busan high speed line, which will be used for testing of the development train, and also, study the various case of high speed train commissioning.

한국형 고속전철의 차체 진동특성 분석 (Analysis of Characteristics of Body Vibrations for Korean High Speed Train)

  • The prototype of Korean high speed train(KHST), composed of two power cars, two motorized cais and three trailer cars, has been designed, fabricated and tested. In this paper. the body vibration has been reviewed from the viewpoint of the vehicle's safety, the ride comfort and the vibration limits for components and sub-assemblies mounted on the car-body using by analytical method and experimental method. The on-line test of KHST has been tarried out up to 260 ㎞/h in the KTX line and the results of the on-line test show that KHST has no problems in the vehicle's safety. the comfort ride and the vibration limits at this speed. And the characteristics of body vibrations has been Predicted at 300 ㎞/h and 350 ㎞/h by fitting curve about the measured acceleration signals.

Relationship between Apparent Viscosity and Line-Spread Test Measurement of Thickened Fruit Juices Prepared with a Xanthan Gum-based Thickener

  • The flow behaviors of three thickened fruit juices (orange, apple, and grape juice) prepared with a commercial instant xanthan gum (XG)-based thickener that is marketed in Korea were investigated at different thickener concentrations (1.0%, 1.5%, 2.0%, 2.5%, 3.0%, and 3.5%) and setting times (5 and 30 min) using a rheometer and a line-spread measurement method. The flow distance values measured by the line-spread test (LST) were compared with the apparent viscosity (${\eta}_{a,50}$) values measured with a sophisticated computer-controlled rheometer. The ${\eta}_{a,50}$ values of the juices increased as thickener concentration increased, whereas their flow distances decreased. The ${\eta}_{a,50}$ values at the 30-min setting time were much higher than those at the 5-min setting time, indicating that the setting time before serving or consuming thickened juices can affect viscosity values. Plots comparing ${\eta}_{a,50}$ values to LST flow distances revealed strong exponential relationships between the two measures ($R^2$=0.989 and $R^2$=0.987 for the 5- and 30-min setting times, respectively). These results indicate that the LST can be a suitable instrument for evaluating the viscosity of thickened fruit juices prepared with different XG-based thickener concentrations and setting times for the dysphagia diet.

고주파 유도가열을 이용한 선상가열 시 각 변형 예측에 관한 연구 (A study on the prediction of the angular distortion in line heating with high frequency induction heating)

  • The purpose of this study is to establish the predictive method of the angular distortion caused by the line heating process with high frequency induction heating. In order to do it, the heat input model for the high frequency induction heating system was established through comparing the temperature evaluation results obtained by both FEA and experiment. The critical heating conditions to prevent the degradation of the work piece with various thicknesses were identified by FEA and microstructure test results. Under the critical heating conditions, the extensive line heating tests were performed. According to the test results, it was found that the angular distortion behavior of the heated plates could be defined as the function of heat intensity and the rigidity of heated plate. In addition, it was clarified that the angular distortion strongly depended on the size of test specimen such as the length and the width of the heated plate. Based on these results, the predictive equation for the angular distortion was established with the function of heat intensity, bending rigidity and size of heated plate.

구성요인에 따른 래글런 슬리브 패턴의 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on Raglan-Sleeve Patterns According to Construction Factors)

  • The purpose of this study was to find relations between construction factors and adaptability on the 5 available raglan sleeve patterns through the drafting method. Also it was to suggest a functional sleeve pattern according to appearance and adaptability test. Three women in her twenties who have standard figure was selected as subjects. Raglan sleeves of 5 experimental clothes were rated by the appearance test and adaptability test. The major conclusions of this study are as follows. 1. The construction factors of the raglan sleeve are sleeve slant, sleeve cap height, biceps line, breast width. Bicep lines increased and sleeve cap height decreased as the sleeve slant decreased. The higher adaptability scores of raglan sleeves were, the lower sleeve slants were. 2. According to the appearance evaluation, B type was recorded the highest score 3. According to the adaptability scores, A type was recorded the highest score. In the pulled length of the waist-line, A type was the lowest movements among the pattern type. In the pulled length of the sleeve-line, A type was the lowest movements among the pattern types. Therefore A type was evaluated by the bort functional sleeve pattern type. Through the experiments, it was known that appearance and adaptability of the raglan sleeve patterns were effected by construction factor.

배전반 설비의 온라인 모니터링 및 진단의 동향 (Trend in Off-Line PD Monitoring with HVAC Testing)

  • The paper considers the relation between on-line monitoring and diagnostics on the one hand and high-voltage (HV) withstand and partial discharge (PD) on-site testing on the other. HV testing supplies the basic data (fingerprints) for diagnostics. In case of warnings by on-line diagnostic systems, off-line withstand and PD testing delivers the best possible information about defects and enables the classification of the risk. Because alternating voltage (AC) is the most important test voltage, the AC generation on site is considered. Frequency tuned resonant (ACRF) test systems are best adapted to on-site conditions. They can be simply combined with PD measuring equipment. The available ACRF test systems and their application to electric power equipment -from cable systems to power transformers - is described.

UHF센서를 이용한 가스절연송전선로 절연파괴 위치 추정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Estimation of Breakdown Location using UHF Sensors for Gas Insulated Transmission Lines)

  • This paper deals with the method and algorithm used to find fault locations in gas insulated transmission line. The method uses UHF sensors and digital oscilloscope to detect discharge signals emitted to the outside through insulating spacer in the event of breakdown inside GIL. UHF sensors are the external type and installed at outside of insulating spacers of GIL. And we used wavelet signal processing to analyze the discharge signals and confirm the exact fault location findings in the GIL test line. This method can overcome demerit of TDR(Time Domain Reflectometer) method having been applied to detect fault location for conventional underground transmission lines, and Ground Fault Sensors used in conventional GIS systems. TDR method requires high level of specialty and experience in analyzing the measured signals. Ground fault sensors are installed inside GIL and can be destroyed by high transient voltage. This paper's method can simplify the fault location process and minimize the damage of sensors. In addition, this method can estimate the fault location only by the time difference when discharge signals are arrived to detecting sensors at the ends of GIL sections without reasons of breakdown. To test the performance of our method, we installed sensors at the ends of test line of GIL(84m) and sensed discharge signals occurred in GIL, energized with AC voltage generator up to 700kV.

송배전 선로 고장력 인장시험기 개발 (Development of High Tension Tensile Tester for Transmission Line)

  • In this paper, for the testing of tensile strength of dead-end clamp used in transmission line, resulting values were estimated by designing and producing the horizontal version of widely-used vertical tensile tester. Tensile strength test of dead-end clamp for transmission line is essential for quality test of products. Moreover, tensile tester is an equipment that requires high level of reliability which needs to be examined through sampling tests commensurate with total inspection. Frames of tensile tester were made up of H-beams so that it can endure more than 20 [tons] of load capability and the test was implemented for 60[seconds] applying five types of tension. In consequence, the tester could withstand up to 21,600[kg] of weight as well as all types of tension. This newly developed horizontal tensile tester can be utilized in figuring out properties of various materials by estimating tensile strength of materials such as metal, rubber and fiber.
