Recently, the construction structure repeats the brilliant development including the shper high rising, high functionalization, environmental friendliness, conversion to ubiquitous, and etc. upon with the construction industry development and it is continually soothed. Meanwhile, as to the construction structure of the modern society, the research for corresponding to the box-frame construction way where the response to the diversity of the life of the occupant is difficult is needed. Thus, the lightweight of the structure is the important factor in order to secure the functionality. Therefore, this research tries to study the water absorption ratio and flexural strenght of the magnesium oxide light weight matrix according to the powdery modified sulfur addition ratio.

This paper describes the pixel of AMOLED(act ive matrix organic light emitting diode) driving circuit by poly-sl technology. The area per pixel is 278um$\times$278um in 120$\times$160(2.2 inch) Driving the OLEDS with active matrix leads to the lower voltage operation, the lower peak pixel currents and the display with much greater efficiency and brightness The role of the active matrix is to provide a constant current throughout the entire frame time and is eliminating the high currents encountered In the passive matrix approach, This design can support the high resolutions expected by the consumer because the current variation specification is norestricted. The pixel has been designed driving TFT threshold voltage cancellation circuit and wide aperture ratio circuit that communizes 4 pixel. The test simulation results and layout are 11% per threshold-current var Eat ion and 12.5% the aperture ratio of increase.

Dynamic model of the rubber-tired AGT light rail vehicle. various load and boundary conditions between vehicle and infrastructures(running track. guidance rail) were defined to analyze vehicular dynamic behaviors occurred by inclement weather(strong wind and earthquake). The dynamic analysis were performed by using a commercialized software RecurDyn. whose results for the magnitudes of wind and earthquake showed the resultant forces and accelerations between car body and bogie, or bogie guidance frame and infrastructures in the various track conditions(straight or curved tracks) and train velocities. Based on these results, speed limitation of tile vehicle were proposed to ensure system stability and passengers safety.

Recently, the underground parking spaces in apartments have been constructed owing to lack of parking spaces in spite of their various environmental problems derived from the fact they are under ground. This study describes the daylighting performance evaluation of underground parking spaces throughout a set of scale model measurement. As a result, in the design of top light system, uncovered open ratio of 4% should be recommended to provide sufficient amount of natural light for the standard light level.

In content-based video data retrieval, the representative-frame is usually used. To do that, the skill of detection for scene change is needed. Generally the color histogram comparison is used, but sensitive to light variation and tends to miss the scene change of similar color histogram. This paper shows how to use both color histogram comparison and entropy to prevent the false-positive of scene change occurred by light variation. At the experiments, il is more powerful to light variation to use both color histogram comparison entropy than to use only color histogram comparison.

In this thesis we designed the vision system to inspect the defect of a back light unit of plat panel display device. The vision system is divided into hardware and inspection algorithm of defect. Hardware components consist of illumination part, robot-arm controller part and image-acquisition part. Illumination part is made of acrylic panel for light diffusion and five 36W FPL's(Fluorescent Parallel Lamp) and electronic ballast with low frequency harmonics. The CCD(Charge-Coupled Device) camera of image-acquisition part is able to acquire the bright image by the light coming from lamp. The image-acquisition part is composed of CCD camera and frame grabber. The robot-arm controller part has a role to let the CCD camera move to the desired position. To take inspections of surface images of a flat panel display it can be controlled and located every nook and comer. Images obtained by robot-arm and image-acquisition board are saved on the hard-disk through windows programming and are tested whether there are defects by using the image processing algorithms.

We performed the cloning of a chalcone synthase (CHS) gene, the key enzyme in the anthocyanin biosynthesis, from the cDNA library constructed with grape suspension cells irradiated UV-B. The PCR fragment was used to cloning the CHS gene. One CHS cDNA clone containing an open reading frame and a partial stilbene synthase (STS)cDNA, the stilbene-type phytoalexin, were isolated. The CHS cDNA clone (VCHS) showed 87% sequence homology with VvCHS (V.vinifea) and 72.3% identity with VSTSY(V.vinifea). its amino acid sequences were longer than any other CHS genes as 454 residues. Two genes were weakly expressed in white light irradiated cells, but highly induced in UV-B irradiated condition during 32 hours. Interestingly, the STS was quickly and abundantly expressed from 2 hours when supplemented with jasmonic acid (JA) and the maximum expression was observed at 4 hours and then gradually decreased. But, the additional UV-B or white light quickly degraded the STS expression than only JA treated grape suspension cells. The CHS also was rapidly induced with JA and the synergistical effect was observed at the addigional light treatment of UV-B or white light. These results are indicated that CHS and STS have different response mechanisms against the environmental stresses.

LCD-BLU is one of kernel parts of LCD and it consists of several optical sheets: LGP, light source and mold frame. The LGP of LCD-BLU is usually manufactured by etching process and forming numerous dots with $50\sim300{\mu}m$ diameter on the surface. But the surface of the etched dots of LGP is very rough due to the characteristics of the etching process during the mold fabrication, so that its light loss is high along with the dispersion of light into the surface. Accordingly, there is a limit in raising the luminance of LCD-BLU. In order to overcome the limit of current etched dot patterned LGP, optical pattern with continuous microlens was designed using optical simulation CAE. Also, a mold with continuous micro-lens was fabricated by UV-LiGA reflow process and applied to 7 inch size of navigator LCD-BLU in the present study.

We have cloned and characterized the complete fibroin light chain gene from the silkworm Baekok-Jam, Bombyx mori, a recommended variety in Korea. It consists of seven exons and six introns. It consists of 14,663 nucleotides long with an open reading frame of 786 nucleotides that encodes a protein of 262 amino acid residues with a molecular mass of approximately 26,000 dalton. The amino acid alignment revealed that the Baekok-Jam fibroin light chain had 98.5 % protein sequence identity to J139 strain: differed at four amino acid positions (11, 46, 80 and 123). The Northern hybridization analysis showed that the Baekok-Jam fibroin light chain gene was specifically expressed in the posterior silk gland.

In the field of visible light communication (VLC), light-emitting diodes (LEDs) are used for transmitting data via visible light. In this study, we analyze pulse dual slope modulation (PDSM) as a means of delivering information in VLC. PDSM involves the modulation of symmetrical slope pulses to encode binary 0s and 1s, and owing to the moderately increasing and decreasing pulse shapes that are created, this method enables more spectral efficiency than the variable pulse position modulation (VPPM) technique currently adopted in IEEE 802.15.7. In particular, PDSM allows for the avoidance of intra-frame flicker by providing idle pulses in a spectrum-efficient way. A simple detection scheme is proposed for PDSMsignals, and its bit error rate (BER) is analyzed mathematically at varying slopes to validate the process through simulation. The BER performance of PDSM detection using dual sampling is compared to the performances of PDSM and VPPM using correlation detection. It is found that, when the probability of idle pulse transmission is less than 0.08 and higher than 0, the BER of dual sampling PDSM is lower than that of PDSM using correlation detection over the entire light intensity range.
