광 조건에 따른 동부나물 생육특성 및 영양성분 변화 (Growth Characteristics and Nutrient Content of Cowpea Sprouts Based on Light Conditions)

  • 본 연구는 동부나물을 재배할 때 광질과 광량에 따른 생산수율과 품질 등에 미치는 영향을 구명하고자 수행하였다. 1. 처리한 모든 광질에서 무처리(암)에 비해 동부나물의 생산수율이 낮았으나 경실비율은 비슷하였고, 상배축과 뿌리 생장을 촉진시키는 반면 하배축 생장을 억제하는 경향이었다. 2. 백색광(458 nm) 처리가 동부나물의 상배축과 하배축의 명도 및 하배축의 황색도를 증가시켰다. 3. 동부나물의 Fe 함량은 적색광(632 nm)에서 많았고, 총아미노산 함량은 황색광(560 nm), 백색광 및 청색광(460 nm)이 무처리(암)보다 많은 경향이었다. 4. 황색광에서 광량이 낮을 때 동부나물의 생산수율이 낮았고, 기타 광질은 광량에 따른 차이가 없었다. 5. 황색광과 적색광은 광량이 낮을 때 명도와 황색도가 높았고 적색도가 낮았다. 6. 처리 광질의 광량에 따른 일반성분과 무기성분 함량은 차이가 없으나, 적색광에서는 광량이 높을 때 Fe 함량이 많았다. 총아미노산 함량은 백색광과 청색광에서 광량이 높을 때 미미하게 많았다.

  • Extreme ultraviolet (EUV) radiation of wavelength $\lambda$~10 nm or photon energy hv~100 eV is presently a blank region in the electromagnetic spectrum where applications are concerned. This is because no powerful sources were available until when intense-laser-produced plasmas are available. Both a new laboratory-sized source of EUV radiation and its new applications in lithography of semiconductor devices have been developed. (omitted)

  • The charge-transfer(CT) complexes derived from phenothiazine as donor and quinonoid compounds as accepters were evaluated as coloring matter. Light fastness of the intermolecular charge-transfer(CT) complex dyes as well as absorption wavelength is an important factor when the complexes are applied to coloring matters. The photofading mechanism of CT complex dyes of phenothiazine and accepters were examined. The addition of effective radical scavenger, antioxidant and photostabilizer gave a remarkable enhancement of the photostability of CT dyes.

  • A Photosensitive Crown Ether Styryl Dye derivative(CESD) was prepared for the application and the structure of it was discussed. Light excitation causes the trans-cis isomerization of CESD yielding a conformation suitable to form a coordination bond between an anion group and a metal cation located in crown ether. Intermolecular complex stabilized the cis isomer that absorbs at a shorter wavelength in the trend-cis isomerization. Application of CESD was suggested.

  • We have fabricated a new-type high-brightness phosphor consisting of a sol-gel derived glass with finely dispersed semiconductor nanocrystals. It is possible to obtain visible light of any wavelength with a single UV irradiation. The glass firmly adheres to a glass substrate. Therefore it can easily be used for developing devices.

  • This paper describes the development of a new type of an integrated optical filter using the frequency characteristics of a directly-connected directional coupler with a Rib waveguide. It has been designed for multiplexing and demultiplexing light froups in different wavelength regions. Also, the effects of higher modes, couplings between input waveguides or output waveguides, and dispersion of material are considered.

  • Some ir absorbing nickel complex dyes were synthesized by the reaction of phenylene diamines, 2-aminobenzenethiols and 2-aminobenzene selenols, tetrathiols with nickel (II) chloride. These dyes absorbed ir light, but those from phenylene diamines absorbed at 780-800 nm which is the most favorable wavelength region for semiconductor laser optical recording dye medium.

  • Electrodes were fabricated on a single ZnO nanowire by photolithography process, metal evaporation, and lift-off. The slow photoresponses of the ZnO nanowire under the continuous illumination of 325nm-wavelength light (corresponding to above-bandgap excitation) indicate that the traps related to oxygen vacancy disturb the flow of electron in ZnO nanowire. The photoresponse and PL spectra were measured, and observed that the excitonic band in the PL spectrum was absent in the photoresponse.

  • Laser means "Light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation". Laser have unique characteristics according to wavelength. Wavelenth of Waterlase is 2780nm and it can be absorbed to water and hydroxyapatite. When laser is applied to some material, its temperature goes up due to laser's energy. But in dental treatment high temperature is not good for teeth. High temperature can make dental pulp and bone necrosis. Waterlase can be absorbed to water droplet, so when it burst, it can cut soft and hard tissue without raising temperature. so it is so proper to dental treatment.

  • The deformations of concrete specimens were measured at early at early ages, in order to verify the applicability of FBG(Fiber Bragg Grating) sensors. The FBG sensors were directly buried at various locations in the beam-type RC specimens at the time of fabrication. In this experiment, the changes of strains in concrete at early age were successfully measured as the movement in wavelength of light signals. The FBG sensors may be a very effective tool to investigate the mechanical/thermal behavior inside of concrete structures.
