차광 수준이 팔레놉시스의 화경 발생과 생육에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Shading Level on the Induction of Inflorescence and Growth of Phalaenopsis Hybrid)

  • 본 실험은 여름철에 비해 상대적으로 광도가 감소되는 시기인 8월 이후부터 익년 3월까지 차광처리가 팔레놉시스의 잎과 뿌리의 생육 그리고 화경의 발생에 미치는 영향에 대하여 조사하였다. 차광처리는 자연광의 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 그리고 90% 수준이었다. 야간 $CO_2$의 흡수량과 증산량, 엽내 탄수화물함량, 생체중과 건물중 모두 50%와 60% 차광에서 높았으며 70%수준 이상에서는 차광이 증가할수록 감소하였다. 화경의 길이, 개체당 화경수와 소화수는 50%와 60% 차광에서 다른 처리보다 높았으며 개화소요일수도 짧았다. 특히, 90%수준에서는 화경의 발생이 현저하게 억제될 뿐만 아니라 실험기간 동안 개화는 이루어지지 않았다.

  • Although LP gas has lots of advantages, there has been limitation in application for automotive engine due to the several disadvantages, such as power decrease, complex fuel supply unit, and back fire etc. However LP gas direct injection engine has possibility to solve the problems above mentioned. LEM(Light Extinction Method) was employed for analysis of spacial and temporal distribution of LP gas which is directly injected into combustion chamber under various pressure and temperature conditions. The results from CVC(Constant Volume Chamber) were compared to those of RICEM(Rapid Induction, Compression and Expansion Machine) which simulate early- and late injection of direct injection engine. LPG fuel spray is affected by temperature and pressure in evaporation characteristics but it is more benefit to direct injection engine in every way such as, fuel distribution, evaporating speed and well wetting reduction.

Polyvinylalcohol에 고정화한 시금치 엽록체의 광합성특성에 대한 연구 (Photosynthetic Characteristics of Polyvinylalcohol-Immobilized Spinach Chloroplasts)

  • Photoxynthetic properties of polyvinylalcohol (PVA)-immobilized chloroplast especially regarded to stability of photosynthetic electron transport and the fluorescence induction pattern were studied. When isolated spinach chloroplasts were immobilized with PVA, it showed good preservation of photosynthetic electron transport activity, especially PS II activity, during storage at -15$^{\circ}C$, 4$^{\circ}C$ and 2$0^{\circ}C$. And immobilized chloroplasts revealed similar thermostability of whole chain electron transport to free chloroplsts. And the absorption peak of red band of chloroplasts showed the blue-shift of 2-4 nm after immobilization. Fv/Fm ratio of chlorophyll fluorescence slightly decreased after immobilization. White light pulse after continuous light do not induced the additional fluorescence rise. This means chlorophyll fluorescence at room temperature reached to Fmax under continuous light in the immobilized chloroplasts. It seems that PVA may be a good candidate for immobilization matrix for the preservation of photosynthetic function of thylakoids and for the continuous use of chloroplast membranes of higher plants for solar energy storage and conversion.

  • In the future light rail vehicle is more attractive than subway, because of construction time and cost. For light rail vehicle are two types of traction motors. one is traditional rotating type and the other is linear motor. Linear motor is not better in consideration of efficiency and power factor than rotating type. But the motor needs no translation equipment for linear motion and with them can be constructed low floor vehicle. In this paper will be designed a linear induction motor with consideration of operational condition and analysed operating characteristics using FEM program and equivalent circuit.

식물생장조절제 처리가 들잔디의 Callus유기 및 Multiple Shoots형성에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Plant Growth Substances on the Callus Induction and Multiple Shoot Formation of Korean Lawngrass( Zoysia japonica Steud.))

  • We have established a high-frequency plant regeneration system via organogenesis from mature seed of Korean lawngrass(Zoysia japonica Steud.). The effects of 2,4-dichiorophenoxy acetic acid (2,4-D), 6-furfuryl amino purine (kinetin), $\alpha$-naphthaiene acetic acid (NAA), N6-benzyl amino pu-rine (BAP), and casein hydrolysate (CR) on cailus induction and multiple shoot formation on ex-posure to light were evaluated. Callus produced on the Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium containing 2,4-D and kinetin had high organogenesis potency. A single addition of 1.0 mg $L-^1$ 2,4-D significantly induced callus. Also, 1.0 mg L-$^1$ 2,4-D, with the addition of 0.1 mg $L-^1$ kinetin highly enlianced callus induction. The trend of cailus induction was also found on mediurn containing 0.1 mg $L-^1$ BAP with 1.0 mg $L-^1$2,4-D, and 1 g $L-^1$ CR with the addition of 1.0 mg $L-^1$ 2,4-D. However, NAA was no effective on callus formation. The growth of root was significantly high in the presence of 0.1 mg $L-^1$ kinetin compared to other concentrations. Over 2 mg $L-^1$ kinetin highly lengthened roots. Fresh weight of plantlet was highest on medium containing 0.1 mg $L-^1$ 2,4-D. Also, on medium containing 0.1 mg $L-^1$ BAP, fresh weight of piantlet was highly enhanced. BAP was significantly effective on multiple shoot formation, particularly when 2.0 mg $L-^1$ was added with 0.1 mg $L-^1$ 2,4-D. Callus induction and multiple shoot formation were achieved on MS basal medium containing 1.0 g $L-^1$ CH.

  • 유도전동기는 기동 시 전류가 정격전류의 6$\sim$8배에 이르기 때문에 경 부하로 운전하는 경우에는 역률을 떨어뜨릴 뿐만 아니라 과다한 기동전류로 인해 계통전원에 순간전압 강하를 유발시켜 선로의 전력품질저하가 심각하게 대두되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 PSCAD/EMTDC 패키지를 이용하여 IEEE에서 제시한 배전 계통 13버스 모형 모델 및 유도기 부하를 모델링 하여 사고모의 및 DSTATCOM의 보상효과를 시뮬레이션을 통하여 보였다.

Mannose 처리된 배추 잎의 무기인산 감소에 따른 비광화학성 소산의 증가 (Sequestration of Orthophosphate by D(+)-Mannose Feeding Increases Nonphotochemical Quenchings in Chinese Cabbage Leaves)

  • Limitation of photosynthesis in detached Chinese cabbage (Brassica campestris L.) leaves was induced by feeding of mannose (25 mM) for 12 h in the light, and changes in the basic thylakoid functions under this condition were investigated. The acid soluble phosphate contend and CO2 uptake rate was decreased by 66% and 67%, respectively. However, the starch content was increased by 24% compared to those of controls. From the fast induction curves of chlorophyll fluorescence, dark level fluorescence (Fo) slightly increased while intermediate plateau fluorescence level (FI) to peak level fluorescence (Fp) transient was significantly decreased with a slight decrease in the Fo-to-FI transient. This data means that reduction of secondary electron acceptor of PSII (QB) might be more severely inhibited than that of primary electron acceptor of PSII (QA) by decrease in phosphate level. The strong decline of (Fv)m//Fm ratio suggests that efficiency of excitation energy capture by PSII was decreased markedly. The quenching of Fo (qO), an indicator of state transition, was also occurred over the slow induction kinetics of chlorophyll fluorescence. From quenching analysis, fluorescence was dominantly quenched by nonphotochemical quenchings (qE+qT). These results showed that the capture and transfer efficiency of excitation energy to PSII reaction center in thylakoid was decreased with the decline of leaf phosphate level, and that the state transition was occurred during the induction of photosynthesis under these conditions.

천마 기내배양을 통한 영양번식경 유도와 생장 (Induction and Growth of Vegetative Stems through In Vitro Culture of Gastrodia elata)

  • Gastrodia elata has been cultivated as an important medicinal resources to treat various human diseases. One of the major problems associated with its field production is the degeneration of seed tubers, which is mainly caused by soil-borne pathogens. This study was conducted to produce disease-free seed tubers by the development of in vitro micropropagation method. First, tubers of G. elata were treated with $HgCl_2$ prior to culturing in vitro. Among various culture medium tested, water agar (WA) and WPM medium were the most effective on the induction and growth of vegetative stems. NAA ($0.1mg/{\ell}$) or TDZ ($1.0mg/{\ell}$) in WA medium showed better growth of vegetative stems compared to other plant hormones. Finally the induction and growth of vegetative stems were better in the dark compared to the light condition. In this study, we established an in vitro micropropagation system of G. elata, which might be an efficient way to increase the yield and quality of G. elata tubers in the field production.

액아배양에 의한 희귀 수종 미선나무의 기내번식 (Micropropagation of a Rare Species, Abeliophyllum distichum Nakai. via axillary bud culture)

  • 미선나무의 기내번식을 위하여 MS배지에 세 가지 싸이토키닌 (zeatin, kinetin 및 BA)을 세 가지 농도로 처리하여 액아 배양을 실시하였다. 줄기유도는 BA가 가장 효과적이었고, 생장은 zeatin이 좋았다. Kinetin은 2.0 및 5.0 mg/L 처리에서 줄기발생 효과가 있었으나 그 효과는 zeatin, BA에 비해 저조했다. 500 lux정도의 약광 하에서 배양은 싸이토키닌 처리에 관계없이 줄기의 생장을 촉진하였다. 발근은 IBA가 첨가된 1/2 GD배지에서 주효했다. 발근된 개체는 인공배양토에서 100% 활착되었고, 정상 생장이 가능했다. 이상의 결과에서 미선나무의 기내 번식이 가능함을 보여 주었다.

  • 선택 반사를 보여주는 콜레스테릭 액정의(cholesteric liquid crystal; CLC) planar 배열이 유도되는 메카니즘을 CLC 셀의 선택 반사율과 FTIR $C{\equiv}N$ 피크 세기를 측정하여 조사하였다. 배향막을 사용한 경우보다는 planar 배열 유도가 완전하지는 않았지만 shear force를 이용하거나 또는 고분자 기판을 연신하여 배향막을 사용하지 않은 상태에서 planar 배열을 유도하였다. CLC의 planar 배열이 유도되는 메카니즘은 기판 표면에 접촉하는 액정분자들이 한 방향으로 늘어서면, 그 액정분자 위에 CLC의 나선 구조들이 기판에 수직으로 형성되며 planar 배열이 유도되는 것이다.
