  • This study was conducted from April 1 through April 30, 2002 in order to figure out the relationship between physical health status and life style and the factors influencing physical health. Subjects were selected from among the residents older than 20 years old by probability scheme of one out of 2000. Three thousand people were interviewed by questionnaires, and 2,742(91.4%) respondents were used for analysis, and the results are as follows: 1. Ridit(Relatives to an identified distribution it) of category one by sex was 0.26 in man, and 0.25 in woman. Ridit of category two was 0.57 in man and 0.53 in woman, those of category three was 0.72 in man and 0.65 in woman. That of category four was 0.86 in man and 0.85 in woman, that of category five was 0.95 in man and 0.97 in woman, and that of category six was 0.98 in man and 0.99 in woman. The ridits and health related categories by sex were r=.954 in man and r=.966 in woman(p<0.01) 2. Ridits of healthy behavior 2-1. The ridit of males who slept for less than 6 hrs was 0.71, that of those who slept for $7{\sim}8$ hrs was 0.24, and that of those who slept for more than 9 hours was 0.96. The ridit of females who slept for less than 6 was 0.80, that of those who slept for $7{\sim}8$ hrs was 0.32, and that of those who slept for more than 9 hrs was 0.97. 2-2. The ridit of male, who ate breakfast everyday was 0.30, that of those who ate one to four breakfast per week was 0.87, and that of those who never ate breakfasts was 0.96. The ridit of females who ate breakfast everyday was 0.32, that of those who ate breakfast one to four times a week was 0.75, and that of those who never ate breakfast was 0.99. 2-3. The ridit of males whose body weights were 10% lower than normal body weight was 0.45, that of those with $5{\sim}9.9%$ less than normal body weight was 0.28, that of those with ${\pm}4.9%$ of normal body weight was 0.12, that of those whose body weights were $5{\sim}9.9%$ heavier than normal was 0.40, that of those whose body weights were $10{\sim}19.9%$ heavier than normal was 0.74, that of those with $20{\sim}29.9%$ heavier than normal body weights was 0.78 and that of those with 30% heavier than normal body weight was 0.87. That of females with 10% less than normal body weight was 0.53, that of those with $5{\sim}99%$ less than normal body weight was 0.32, that of 4.9% those with ${\pm}f$ normal body weight was 0.14, that of those with 5.0 to 9.9% heavier body weights was 0.43, that of those with 10 to 19.9% heavier body weight was 0.65, that of those with $20{\sim}29.9%$ heavier body weight was 0.94 and that of those with more than 30% of normal body weight was 0.94. 2-4. The ridit of males who exercised everyday was 0.11, that of those who exercised three to four times a week was 0.25, that of those exercising once or twice a week was 0.48, and that of those who never exercised was 0.80. The ridit of females exercising everyday was 0.08, that of those exercising three to four times a week was 0.21, that of those exercising one to two times was 0.35 and that of those who never exercised was 0.72. 2-5. The ridit of males who did not drink at all was 0.14, that of those who drank one or two cups of hard liquor(Soju) was 0.39, that of those who drank a half bottle of Soju was 0.56, that of those who darnk a bottle of Soju was 0.73 and that of those who drank two bottles of Soju was 0.96. The ridit of females who did not drink at all was 0.30, that of those who drank one or two cups of Soju was 0.70, that of those who drank a half bottle of Soju was 0.84, that of those who drank a bottle of Soju was 0.97 and that of those who drank more than two bottles of Soju was 0.99. 2-6 The ridit of males who did not smoke was 0.20, that of those who smoked one or two cigarettes was 0.44, that of those who smoked about ten cigarettes was 0.58, and that of those who smoked more than a pack of cigarettes was 0.85. The ridit of females who did not smoke at all was 0.90, that of those who smokes one or two cigarettes was 0.91, that of those who smoked about the cigarettes was 0.93 and that of those who smoked more than a pack of cigarettes was 0.96 3. The ridit of males who had healthy behavior in six categories was 0.43 and the average age of them was 45, that of those who had healthy behavior in five categories was 0.47 and the average age was 45, that of those who had healthy behavior in three categories was 0.50 and the average age was 43, that of those who had heathy behavior in two categories was 0.60 and the average age was 40, that of those who had healthy behavior in one category was 0.68 and the average age was 38, and that of those who did not have healthy behavior at all in six categories was 0.79 and the average age was 41. The ridit of females who had heathy behavior in six categories was 0.38 and the average age was 45, that of those who had healthy behavior in five categories was 0.40 and the average age was 44, that of those who had healthy behavior in four categories was 0.46 and the average age was 43, that of those who had healthy behavior in three categories was 0.52 and the average age was 44, that of those who had healthy behavior in two categories was 0.57 and the average age was 41, that of those who the healthy behavior in one category was 0.62 and the average age was 40, and that those who did not have healthy behavior in six categories was 0.79 and the average age was 43. 4. The health statues of the persons who the healthy behavior were better than those who did not have healthy behavior. If the people have healthy behavior in young age and they have healthy education continuously, they can live healthier lives.

  • 今天, 受到成熟零售市场挑战的时装市场需要新的 "品牌发展" 典范来提高他们的竞争优势. 时装市场的一个重要议题是为满足消费者由于生活方式的变化而产生的特别需求所进行的生活方式品牌扩张. 时装品牌扩张到生活方式产品类别, Y世代和婴儿潮可以说是新兴的 "前景"(婴儿潮的消费者正在改变他们的生活方式. Y世代正经历着他们生命阶段的变化). 他们有购买新产品的需求. 因此, 服装公司为品牌扩张注重消费群从而在新的产品类别中建立和管理他们的品牌资产是乐观的. 本文的研究目的是(a)评估母品牌和子品牌的品牌资产. (b)鉴定消费者对品牌扩张的感知营销因素. (c)评估两个选择的群体(Y世代和婴儿潮)的营销因素和扩张到生活方式的产品类别(包括家居时尚产品)品牌的品牌资产之间因果关系的结构方程模型. 关于理论框架, 本文关注传统的营销4P组合来鉴定哪个营销因素在品牌扩张资产方面更重要. 比较营销可以建立 "品牌扩张资产", 从而成功的进入新类别. 借鉴相关的文献, 通过关注选择的消费者(Y世代, 婴儿潮), 本研究发展的研究假设结合了品牌资产因子和营销因素. 在品牌扩张至生活方式产品的背景下, 品牌资产的构念包括品牌认知/联合, 品牌感知(例如感知质量, 情感价值)和从CBBE因子(Keller, 2001)中而来的品牌共鸣. 据推测, 通过品牌扩张至生活方式产品, 市场营销要素在品牌认知/联合, 品牌感知方面创建品牌扩张资产, 进而影响品牌的共鸣. 为了收集数据, 样本由韩国Y世代的女性消费者和在婴儿潮中出生的消费者. 这些在婴儿潮中出生的消费者由于生活周期的改变而对生活方式产品有较高的需求. 在韩国Y世代(n=326)和婴儿潮(n=325)的女性消费者中共有651份有用的问卷被使用. 我们用LISREL8.8测试了使用相关矩阵的结构和测量模型. 结果显示品牌扩张的感知营销因素包括三个因子: 价格/店铺形象, 产品和广告. 在Y世代的模型中, 价格/店铺形象对品牌资产因素有积极的影响(例如品牌认知/联合, 感知质量). 同时, 在品牌扩张中产品对情感价值有积极的影响. 品牌认知/联合有可能提高感知质量和情感价值, 从而对扩张至生活方式产积极的品牌产生品牌共鸣. 在婴儿潮消费者模型中, 价格/店铺形象对感知质量有积极的影响, 感知质量可以创造品牌扩张的品牌共鸣. 产品对质量感知和情感价值有正的影响, 这些都会消费者产生对扩张至生活方式产品的品牌的品牌共鸣. 但是, 在这两个群体中广告和品牌资产都是负相关. 本研究为时装营销者提供了发展成功的品牌扩张战略以及可持续的竞争优势的见解. 本研究补充和扩展了先前的有关通过营销努力的因素促使品牌扩张成功的研究. 研究结果支持为进入新的产品类别, 时装品牌扩张(Aaker and Keller, 1990; Tauber, 1998; Shine et al., 2007; Pitta and Katsanis, 1995)和营销行动的增效作用. 因此, 我们推荐营销者同时针对Y世代和婴儿潮一代通过标准化的营销推广进入新产品类别(例如家具)可以降低营销成本. 时装营销者可以(a)提供高价的产品线. (b)在韩国通过零售渠道(例如专门百货商店)强调高档特征的商店形象定位. (c)结合服装与生活方式产品包括新颖的款式和设计师的限量版. 对品牌资产,成功品牌延伸的关键是消费者的品牌认知度和品牌联合,确保新产品类别的品牌特征. 对于营销者来说, 在进入新产品类别的时候知道什么有助于更具体的联合是必要的. 对时装品牌而言, 品牌扩张的第二个关键是进入 "奢侈" 生活方式新产品类别的途径. 更高的价格或店铺形象都对质量感知有影响. 而质量感知可以引起品牌共鸣. 更重要的是, 本研究提高了对品牌扩张的理论理解并对营销者提出了在制定针对Y世代和婴儿潮一代消费者的行销项目时的方向.

외국인투자기업의 국제이전가격 결정에 영향을 미치는 환경 및 기업요인 (Factors Affecting International Transfer Pricing of Multinational Enterprises in Korea)

  • 기업환경의 국제화 및 세계화에 따라 국내에 진출하는 다국적기업의 수는 증가할 것으로 보이는데, 그들을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 적절한 수단은 별로 연구되고 있지 않은 것 같다. 다국적기업의 국제이전가격은 정교하게 설정되어 조세부담을 회피할 수 있기 때문에, 이를 관리하기 위해서는 다국적기업의 행태를 이해할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 우리나라에 진출한 외국인 기업의 특성 및 환경적 요인이 국제이전가격의 설정방식에 미치는 영향을 확인하고자 하는데 그 목표를 두고 있다. 2004년 현재 우리나라에 미화 100만불 이상의 직접투자를 수행하고 있는 외국인 투자기업 861개 기업을 대상으로 설문조사를 시행한 결과 121개 기업이 응답하여 이를 본 연구의 분석자료로 사용하였다. 종속변수로는 국제이전가격설정방법이 시장기준 혹은 원가기준에 의거하였는지의 여부를 묻는 2원적변수를 채택하였다. 시장기준방법의 경우 객관성이 높아 세무당국이 선호하는 방법임에 비해 원가기준은 경영자의 주관적인 판단이 개입될 소지가 많아 객관성이 떨어진다는 점에서 구분되기 때문이다. 독립변수로는 법인세, 관세, 세무당국과의 관계, 세무조사가능성, 현지투자자의 지분율, 내부거래비중, 매출액 및 제품수명주기가 채택되었고, 통제변수로는 중소기업여부 및 투자자의 국적이 더미변수의 형태로 포함되었다. 분석 결과를 살펴보면 세무변수로는 법인세와 관세가 유의하게 나타났는데, 그 중요도가 높을수록 경영자에게 재량권이 있는 원가기준이전가격방식을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 또 세무당국과의 관계를 중요하게 평가할수록 시장기준이전가격방식을 선호하는 것으로 나타났는데, 현지 정부는 객관성이 높은 시장기준을 가장 선호하기 때문에 기업의 입장에서 이 점을 고려한 것이라 생각할 수 있다. 제품 수명주기의 성숙도가 높을수록 원가기준을 선호하는 것으로 나타났는데, 이는 제품의 성숙도가 높을수록 경쟁 때문에 현지자회사가 시장을 확보하는데 어려움을 느끼게 되므로 이를 지원하는 수단으로 원가기준을 선호하는 것으로 보인다.

일 지역 중·고등학생의 흡연실태 (A Study on the Actual Conditions of Smoking in Middle and High School Students in One Region)

  • To investigate the actual conditions of smoking in middle and high school students in Chinan County, I used a sturctured questionnaire for 1,579 students attending twelve middle-high schools from December 1, 1998 to December 20, 1998. I collected and data correlated the using an $SPSS-PC^+$ 1. The smoking rate of middle-high schoo1 students in Chinan County was 17.9%, relatively high. This smoking rate was different according to the gender, grade, religion, and economic situation. In mals, high school students, non-religious, students low income family students, the smoking rate was higher. The smoking rate of high school students was almost the same as the smoking rate of adults, generally higher than that of foreign teenagers. Because the smoking rat of studinets in the third grade of middle school and in the first grade of high School was six times higher, increased education should be conducted during this time in an attempt to curb the sudden increase of the smoking rate. The smoking rate of girl students was 5.0%; this has increased mor than three times from ten years ago. Consequently, counter measures should be taken against the smoking of female students as well as juvenile smoking in general. In addition, the smoking rate of middle-high school students showed interesting differences when correnated with enviornmental factors. Students with low grades, who are not satisfied with school life, who don't have both parents, who have uncaring parents who nare too strict or too arbitary, who have smoking parents, or who have experienced smoking commonly smoked. Therefore, to lower the smoking rate we should improve the school environment, improve a student's interest in school life. And parents or siblings should lead by example and quit smoking at home. Schools should educate students more effectively concerning the harmful effects of smoking and create an accurate understanding of its dancers. From the beginning, we should teach students never ever to touch cigaretts. 2. The surve discovered that most students started out of curiosity, or solicitantion from friends or elders at middle school, and had been smoking one to five cigarettes for more than a year. They obtained cigarettes at stores and most of them have friends who smoke. As a result anti-smoking education should be conducted at elementary schools prior to middle school. More than 95% of the teenagers who smoke had friends who smote and smoked out of curiosity or the recommendation of elders. Thus, we must focus on teenagers who smoke in group, rather than individually. Fuyrthermore, the strict application of the regulation of tobacco sales as well as tobacco cooperation from retailers are needed. While students did not show any mood or academic achievement difference after beginning smoking, 58.1% of the students a health situdation that was worse. Juvenile smoking is more harmful to the juvenile than adult smoking is to the adult. This should be focused on in an anti-smoking campaign. 3. Students who smoke hada more positive attitude toward smoking than students who don't smoke. Students who smoke had a tendency to have a nuetral position and are not concerned about smoking compared to non-smoking students. The survey showed that the great number of students had a nuetral position. Because this nuetrality may increase Juvenile smoking, education that provides an exact understanding of smoking should be performed to build the correct attidude toward smoking. 4. Middle school students smoke when angry, gloomy, anxious, a lone and when they have some problems to solve, on when they feel inconveniened in other wores, they smoke to reliver stress. They also smok due to addiction. Because smoking is not a praetical method to relieve stress, a program which helps to acquire positive relief stress should be provided to help reduce smoking. 5. About 65% of students who smoke want to quit smoking because of health problem, 78% of them have tried mor than once to quit but failed due to weak will power and peer pressure from friends who smoke. Juvenile smoking is group, oriented. Thus, the program that advances less smoking will be the one that focuseds on groups. 6. As for advice to students who want to quit smoking, "persuasion" was used most commonly, followed by a "presentation on how to quit smoking". Another method were severe punishment. About 70% of the students wanted the anti-smoking guide at school. 7. Most students (73.5%) had a position that more anti-smoking education at school is needed. Obriously, then, anti-smoking education at middle-high schools should be reinfoced. Although the education which explains the harmful influence of tobacco is known as an efficient way prevent smoking; it does not influence students who already smoke. Therefore, for students who smoke, multi-dimensional approaches must be attempted that include physical training, phychokogical approache, consultation and discussion, medical chek-ups, audio-visual education technigues, and professonal instructors, in addition, because smoking students have more negative on lukewarm attitude to anti-smoking education anti-smoking education should be conducted through a communicative style by dedicated teachers who care about students. 소아 비만자를 위한 학교교육의 필요성에 관한 연구 제1보 -영양교육과 체육교육의 지침을 위한 기초조사- (A Study on the Necessity of School Education for Child Obesity part 1 -A Basic Investigation for Guideline of Nutritional, Physical Education-)

  • 최근 사회 환경적인 변화에 따라 소아 비만자들이 증가하고 있는 현 시점에서 실제로 학교에서의 영양 및 건강교육이 전혀 이루어지지 않고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 비만아들의 식사 섭취 내용과 일일 총 열량 소비량을 조사하고 학교에서 이루어질 수 있는 프로그램을 마련하기 위한 기초 조사로서 교육의 필요성을 강조하고자 하였다. 본 연구결과 비만 아동들의 열량 섭취는 권장량보다 상당히 높게 나타나 비만을 유도했던 원인으로 설명될 수 있었다. 반면 비타민과 무기질의 섭취율은 낮게 나타나, 신체의 성장이 중요한 아동기에 균형 있는 영양소 섭취를 위하여 적절한 영양교육이 필요하다는 사실을 시사하였다. 최근 증가 추세에 있는 소아 비만을 예방하면서 건강한 신체 성장을 유도하는 학교 교육은 성인기까지 이어지는 건강한 신체를 위하여 중요하다고 하겠다. 식사습관에 있어서 폭식, 불규칙한 식사시간과 식사량, 패스트푸드와 과자류의 섭취가 비만을 유발하는 원인으로 설명되어 비만을 막기 위한 영양 지침이 마련되어야 할 것으로 생각된다. 활동 상태 조사에 있어 남녀 학생 모두 총 에너지 소비량은 섭취 에너지량보다 적어 신체 활동량을 높여 주는 학교에서의 체육활동 및 스포츠 교육이 시급한 실정이라고 하겠다. 학교와 학교 외의 수업이 대부분 앉아서 이루어지기 때문에 체육 수업은 학생들의 체력 향상과 활발한 신체 운동으로 이루어져야 할 필요가 있으며, 증가 추세에 있는 비만 예방이라는 차원에서 강화되어야 할 것이다. 이 시기는 뼈와 근육 무게를 증가시켜 튼튼한 신체를 만드는 시기이지만, 고학년 여학생의 경우 활동량이 아주 부족하기 때문에 소극적인 체육활동을 대신해주는 프로그램의 개발이 시급한 실정이다. 비만을 예방하고 치료하기 위한 지침은 성인과 아동이 유사하다고 할 수 있으나 아동기는 성장의 발달이 이루어지는 중요한 시기이기 때문에 균형있는 영양소 섭취가 필요하다고 하겠다. 따라서 본 연구의 기초조사를 바탕으로, 건강교육에 대한 중요성을 인식하고 좀더 세부적인 영양지침이 제공되고 신체 활동량을 증가시켜 비만을 막을 수 있는 교육적 프로그램 개발을 위하여 깊이 있는 연구가 더 시행되어야 할 것이다.

한국농촌의 식품금기에 관한 연구

  • A 371 agricultural households from 26 different communities in South Korea was subjected on a study of food taboos in January of 1966. To the pregnant women, those to whom a high protein diet is particurally important, as many as 14 different kinds of foods, mostly portein rich foods, were avoided to eat. It is believed that if duck is eaten while pregnant her baby may walk like a duck in later life. Some mother have a strong aversion to the rabbit meat that her unborn baby must be a harelip. It is feared to eat chicken, shark or carp by the pregnant mother for her baby may get a gooseflesh appearance, or fish scale-like skin in later life. It is thought that if mother eats soup made of meat borns, especially chicken bones, a disfigured baby may be born. Some area informed that if mother eats crab meat her future baby will always bubble. To the child-bearing mothers 13 different kinds of foods were avoided to eat. Some believe that if raddish kimchi, soybean curd, squash are eaten while dilivery that mother may get dental decay or to lose all her teeth. Other think that highly spiced raddish kimchi cause delivery difficult. To the lactating mothers 7 different items of foods were not recommended to eat. It is a common belief that eating green vegetables, especially fresh lettuce, are restricted that her baby may stool greenish. It is said that eating ginsen-chicken soup, or ginsen tea during lactating reduces breast milk secretion. To the weaning babies 7 different kinds of foods were prohibited to fee. Eggs are not eaten because mothers think her babies will start to talk very late. Eight different items of foods in cases of gastro-intestinal diseases, 5 items for liver disease, 7 items for high blood pressure as well as for paralysis were respectively restricted. It is said that meats including pork, beef, and chicken are neither desirable for the patients of high blood pressure nor those of paralysis. To the measles children 10 varieties of foods were restricted. Especially soybean products and meats were not encouraged to use for avoiding asecond attack of measles. For the common cold 8 different kinds of foods were aversed and men think that eating of soup of undria delays a recovery. For the tuberculosis 4 kinds of foods were prohibited to eat. It is said that wine, red pepper and ginsen will stimulate lung bleeding. Many mothers had a strong aversion to fermented shrimp and fish in case of style. and 5 different items of foods were restricted. In case of menstration not so many foods were restricted as other cases, but meat soup is not eaten in this condition in some areas. Majority of food taboos in Korean villages are neither based on tribal nor religious factors. But no one knows how, since what ages, from where, these food taboos have been transmitted and spread over the country. This survey found a great variety of food taboos, aversions, traditional beliefs and prohibitions latent unknown reseasons, or non-scientific conceptions, or completely different ideas from the modern medical aspect, or somewhat fallacious and superstitious beliefs. For the vascular disease contrasting approach were found between modern the oritical therapy and popular remedy among the rural populations who largely depend on the eastern medication. Further scientific study on either side should be done to lead the patient proper way. Many restricted foods such as rabbit, duck, chicken and fish are best resources of protein rich foods which are available in the village. Emphasis should be laid upon breaking down fallacious and supersititious food taboos through the extended nutrition education activities in order to improve food habit and good eating pattern for healthier and stronger generations of Korea.

  • 연구 목적 피로의 심각도에 영향을 준다고 생각되는 인구 사회학적 변인들과 스트레스 지각 정도, 우울 감의 상관 관계를 파악하고, 이를 향후 임상 환자군, 일차 진료 환자 군에서의 피로 증상의 평가 및 치료 전략에 대한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다. 방 법 621명의 남, 여 공무원 집단을 대상으로 반 구조화된 설문 자료를 이용하여, 연구 참여자의 기본적인 인구 사회학적 변인과 생활 습관에 대한 조사와 함께, 피로 심각도 척도(FSS), 개인의 지각된 스트레스 척도(PSS), 한국형 BEPSI 검사(BEPSI-K), 벡의 우울 감 척도(BDI), 스트레스 대처 방식(Stress coping skill Questionnaire)을 기입하도록 하였고, 이를 이용하여 단면적 연구를 시행하였다. 결과 피로, 스트레스 지각 정도, 우울 감은 모두 남성보다 여성에서 평균값이 유의하게 높게 관찰되었다. 피로의 심각도는 스트레스 지각 정도, 우울 감과 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 피로 심각도는 어떠한 대처 방식을 사용하느냐에 따라 다르게 관찰되었는데, 적극적인 대처 방식을 더 많이 사용하는 사람들이 느끼는 피로와 우울 감이 상대적으로 낮았다. 적극적 대처 방식 중에서도 문제 중심적인 대처 방식을 사용하는 군에서 피로의 심각도와 우울 감이 유의한 음의 상관관계를 보였다. 반면에 소극적 대처 방식을 더 많이 사용하는 집단에서 피로의 심각도는 스트레스 지각 정도, 우울 감 모두에서 양의 상관관계를 보였다. 높은 피로를 호소하는 그룹(FSS>3.22)에서 지각된 스트레스, 우울 감이 모두 유의하게 높게 나타났고, 고 피로 군은 저 피로 군에 비해서 문제 중심적 대처 방식을 덜 사용하는 것으로 나타났다. 로지스틱 회귀 분석 결과, 스트레스 지각 정도와 우울 감은 피로의 발생과 증상의 심각 도에 위험 요인으로 작용하며, 운동을 규칙적으로 하는 것은 운동을 하지 않는 것에 비해 피로를 경감시키는 요인으로 밝혀졌다. 결론 지각하는 스트레스가 높을 수록, 우울 감을 많이 느낄수록 피로가 높아지는 것을 확인하였고, 운동을 하지 않는 군에서 운동을 하는 군에 비해 피로를 더 많이 느끼는 것을 확인하였다. 이번 연구에서는 건강한 사람들을 대상으로 주관적인 피로감을 측정하고 피로에 영향을 주는 요인들을 확인하였기 때문에, 이 결과가 추후 일반 건강 군의 피로에 대한 치료적 개입뿐 아니라, 피로 심각도에 영향을 주는 요인인 스트레스와 우울 감, 그리고 이들로 인하여 발생 가능한 여러 가지 정신과적 질환에의 개입과 치료 전략 수립 시에 기초적인 자료가 될 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

산업장 근로자의 건강증진행위와 자아개념 및 건강의 중요성 인식에 관한 연구 (The Determinants of Health Promoting Behavior of Industrial Workers)

  • This descriptive-correlational study was conducted to identify the major factors affecting health promoting behaviors. 344 workers who employed in four different manutacturing plants in Taegu and Kyungbuk area were selected by convenience sampling method. Data were collected from April let to April 18th, 1998 by ready structured questionaires. The purpose of this study was to offer the basic data for health promotion theory development and health promotion strategy planning. This study was based on Pender's Health Promotion Model and examined three variables health promoting behavior, self-concept and perceived importance of health. The Life Style and Health Habit Assessment scale(LHHA) developed by Pender(1982).The Self-concept scale developed by Choi(1972) and the Health Value scale developed by Wallston, Maides and Wallston(1980) were used for this study. Data was analyzed by percentage, mean. t-test. ANOVA, Pearson Correlation Coefficient, and Stepwise Multiple Regression. The major findings of this study are as follows ; 1. The average level of health promoting behavior practice was 63.2% and possible range was from 62 to 248 point. The mean score of respondent's positive self-concept was 75.8. 81.4% of respondents put a high priority on the importance of health. 2. There was a significant difference between the practice level in the category of general self care and less amount of working hours per day(P=0.000), less amount of working hours per week(P=0.000). There was a significant difference between the practice level in the category of nutrition and age(0.002), marital status(0.000), working hour per day(0.008), working hours per week(0.001), There was a significant difference between the practice level in the category of nutriton and sex(0.000), age(0.000), marital status(0.025), education level(0.000), working hours per day(0.002), working hours per week(0.006). There was a significant difference between the practice level in the category of sleep and rest and age(0.003), marital status(0.002), working hours per day(0.001), working hours per week(0.001). There was a significant difference between the practice level in the category of stress management and working hours per day(0.001), working hours per week(0.002). There was a significant difference between the practice level in the category of self-actualization and working hours per day(0.050). 3. General characteristics influencing the respodent's self-concept were level(P=0.009) and worksite(P=0.001). 4. The results of the hypothesis tests are as follows The first hypothesis, that "The respondent who have more positive self-concept will have higher scores in the practice of health promoting behavior." was supported(r=0.2973, P=0.0001). The second hypothesis that "The respondent who have higher perception level on importance of health will have higher scores in the practice health promoting behavior." was rejected(r=- 0665, P=0.2225). 5. The most important factor that affects health promoting behavior practice was working hours per week(6.0%). The combination of working hours per week, age, education level accounted for 10.0% of the variance in health promoting behavior. In conclusion, the results of this study on industrial workers supported Pender's health promotion model in partial and showed the relatedness between self concept and the practice of health promoting behavior. Further research is required to find factors influencing health promoting behaviors of industrial workers.

전라도 장수지역에 거주하는 여자노인의 골밀도에 따른 생화학적 지표 및 영양섭취상태에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Blood Health Status and Nutrient Intake in Elderly Women Dwelling in Longevity Region in Jeonla Province according to Bone Mineral Density)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the dietary and other factors affecting bone mineral density (BMD) in older Korean women. A total of 340 women aged 65 to 74 were recruited from the Kugoksoondam area (Kurye, Goksung, Soonchang and Damyang counties), known as the longevity-belt region in Jeonla province, Korea. They were categorized into two groups according to bone status by T-score : a nonosteoporotic group and an osteoporotic group. Demographic characteristics were collected, as well as information on physical measurements, blood tests for biochemical indicators, health status health-related life style, dietary behavior, favorite food groups, nutrient intake and mini nutrition assessment (MNA). The results are as follows: The mean age of 185 nonosteoporotic women was 69.6 years and that of 155 osteoporotic women was 70.9 years (p<0.001). The mean T-score of the nonosteoporotic group was $-1.5mg/cm^3$ and that of theosteoporotic group was $-3.2mg/cm^3$ (p<0.001). Height and body weight in the nonosteoporotic group were significantly higher than in the osteoporotic group (p<0.001, respectively). There was no significant difference in BMI, although the BMI in the nonosteoporotic group was slightly higher. Waist and hip circumferences in the nonosteoporotic group were significantly higher than in the osteoporotic group (p<0.01, respectively), and the mid upper arm and calf circumferences were also significantly higher than in the osteoporotic group (p<0.001, p<0.01, respectively). The 5 m walking ability was significantly superior compared to the osteoporotic group. Serum levels did not show any significant differences between the groups and were within normal range. The serum total protein, albumin and Insulin-like growth factor (IGFs) levels of the nonosteoporotic group were significantly higher than those of the osteoporotic group (p<0.05, p<0.05, p<0.001, respectively). IGF was 104.7 ng/mL for the nonosteoporotic group and 88.1 ng/mL for the osteoporotic group. Physical activity and appetite in the nonosteoporotic group were significantly higher (p<0.01, p<0.05, respectively). The favorite food groups of the nonosteoporotic group comprised more meats and fish than those of the osteoporotic group (p<0.05, respectively). Nutrient intake was not significantly different, with the exception of niacin intake (p<0.05), but the nutrient intake of the nonosteoporotic group was slightly higher than that of the osteoporotic group. The niacin intake of the nonosteoporotic group and the osteoporotic group were 11.4 mgNE and 10.0 mgNE, corresponding to 103.6% and 90.9% of the Korean EAR, respectively. The MNA score of the nonosteoporotic group was significantly more favorable than for the osteoporotic group. In conclusion, it is necessary to maintain adequate body weight and muscle mass. Habitual physical activity may have a beneficial effect on BMD for older women. Dietary factors, such as meat and fish, higher intake of niacin rich foods and nutrient status for older women also appear to have favorable effects on bone mineral density.

문화재 보존에 나타난 과거인식에 대한 고찰 - 19세기 영국의 교회 건축복원의 사상적 배경과 보존사례를 중심으로 - (A study on the Change of Perspectives on the Past in Heritage Conservation - Focusing on the 19th Century Restoration of Religious Buildings in England -)

  • 홈스봄의 '만들어진 전통'은 최근에 등장한 역사인식의 한 방법론이다. 그에 따르면 만들어진 전통의 특수성은 과거와의 연속성을 인위적으로 내세우려 하는 것이며, 그 과정에서 전통들을 구성하는 데 낡은 재료들을 이용한다. 또한 그는 만들어진 전통은 사회화나 신념, 가치체계, 행위규범을 주입하는 데에 그 목표가 있다고 보았다. 본 논문은 그러한 인식틀을 가지고 19세기의 문화재 보존에 대하여 고찰하였다. 그리고 단순히 이를 적용하는 데에 그치지 않고 한 단계 더 발전적으로 나아가 그러한 현상들의 사상적 배경은 무엇이며, 그러한 현상을 만들어내는 데 있어서 과거에 대한 인식이 어떻게 작용했는지를 사례를 통해 분석하였다. 19세기 중반에 카톨릭의 교리와 의례를 새로운 신념과 가치체계로 주입하여 영국 국교의 종교적인 부활을 이루고자 했던 옥스퍼드 운동과 이를 실천하기 위한 행위규범으로 고딕양식을 종교적 공간에 재현하고자 한 캠브리지캄덴협회의 활동은 홈스봄이 제시한 전통을 만드는 행위에 있어서 핵심적인 요소이다. 그리고 그것이 종교건축의 보존에 있어서 그대로 적용되고 실천되었다는 점에서 전통과 보존은 같은 축 선상에 존재한다. 당시에 과거는 종교적 목적을 실천하기에 적합한 특정시대와 특정한 건축양식으로만 이해하는 단층적인 재료였으며, 과거를 인식하는 틀 역시 종교적인 목적이나 사회적, 정치적인 이념에 크게 영향을 받았다. 19세기 후반의 반복원 운동은 전대의 무분별한 양식적 복원을 막고자 했던 행위이다. 그리고 그 사상적 배경에는 변화된 과거 인식의 틀이 존재한다. 복원이라는 행위에 대한 개념정의가 보다 구체적으로 논의되기 시작하면서, 행위의 속성을 인식하는 관점에서 전대의 과거에 대한 인식이 수정되었다. 전통은, 혹은 과거는 현재에 되살려야 하는 대상이 아니고 현재에도 살아있는 생명체이며, 복원은 그러한 생명력을 오히려 빼앗는 행위라는 관점으로 과거에 대한 인식이 변화된 것이다. 즉, 있는 그대로의 과거, 다양한 가치가 존재하는 과거로 인식하게 되었으며, 그러한 태도가 문화재 보수에 적용되기 시작하는 시대이다. 이러한 고찰을 토대로 향후, 국내에서도 보다 다면적인 관점과 충분한 자료를 축적하여 우리의 문화재 보존사를 이해하고 분석하는 것이 필요할 것이다.
