교대근무 기혼여성 간호사의 일-가정 양립 경험 (Shift-Working Married Female Nurses' Experience of Work-Family Balance)

  • 본 연구는 교대근무 기혼여성 간호사의 일과 가정, 일상생활에 대한 생생한 경험과 교대근무의 특수한 상황적 맥락을 파악하는 것이다. 이를 위해 교대근무 기혼여성 간호사 10명을 대상으로 이들의 심층적인 내면을 탐색하기 위해 면담을 진행하였으며, 수집된 자료는 Giorgi의 현상학적 연구 방법을 적용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 총 120개의 의미 단위와 16개의 하위 구성 요소, 5개의 구성 요소가 도출되었다. 5개의 구성 요소는 '교대근무로 인한 일-가정양립 현실 인식', '일-가정 양립 어려움', '일-가정 양립 원동력', '직무수행에서의 만족감 요소', '해결되어야 할 과제들'이다. 본 연구는 교대근무 기혼여성 간호사의 일-가정 양립 경험의 심층적 탐색을 통해 이들이 직면한 상황을 파악하여 교대근무 기혼여성 간호사를 위한 일-가정 양립에 정교한 개선 전략 수립에 대한 경험적 근거를 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

병원간호사의 근무형태에 따른 일-생활 양립 갈등이 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (The Relationship between Work-life Conflict and Turnover Intention among Hospital Nurses based on Shift Work)

  • Purpose: This study analyzes the relationship between work-life conflict and turnover intention among hospital nurses. Furthermore, it seeks to determine whether the relationship between the two varies depending on the shift work condition of the nurses. Methods: A total of 435 nurses working at five tertiary hospitals were included in the study. The questionnaire included items on turnover intentions, work-life conflicts, sociodemographic factors, working conditions, and internal and external resources. Results: The level of work-life conflict among shift work nurses was higher than that of non-shift work nurses. The turnover intention was also higher for shift work nurses than for non-shift work nurses. Results from the multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that the work-life conflict of nurses had a positive relationship with turnover intention. The effect of work-life conflict on turnover intention was greater for shift work nurses than for non-shift work nurses. Conclusion: Work-life conflict had a greater impact on the turnover intention of hospital nurses working under shift work conditions. Based on this study's findings, it can be suggested that, in order to reduce high turnover intention, it will be necessary to make specific efforts to balance work-life conflict and improve working conditions.

테이핑의 종류가 만성 발목 불안정성을 가진 성인의 정적 및 동적 균형에 미치는 효과 비교 (Comparison of the Effects of Different Types of Taping on Static and Dynamic Balance in Adults with Chronic Ankle Instability)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study is to apply kinesiology taping and dynamic taping to subjects with ankle instability and to find out the change of static balance and dynamic balance ability and to use it more usefully in daily life. Methods : The subjects were based on 30 Cumberland Ankle Instability Tool questionnaire scores of 24 or less, and were randomly assigned to the kinesiology taping group (n=15) and the dynamic taping group (n=15) to change the static balance and dynamic balance before and after taping Measured. The eyes were closed for 30 seconds and the average balance was measured three times through the Wii balance board in static balance, and the balance ability was evaluated by measuring functional reach test and star excursion balance test in dynamic balance. Results : As a result, the static balance showed significant results in the dynamic speed and the moving distance in the dynamic taping group (p<.05). However, there was no significant difference in the shaking area and the difference in the kinesiology taping group (p<.05) However, both groups showed significant differences in dynamic balance (p<.05). Conclusion : It was confirmed that the application of taping was effective for static and dynamic balance in subjects with ankle instability, and the application of dynamic taping was more effective than kinesiology taping.

교대근무 서비스 종사자의 생활만족도에 미치는 영향: 제 5차 근로환경조사를 이용하여 (The Effect on the Life Satisfaction of the Workers in the Shift Work Service: The Fifth Korean Working Conditions Survey)

  • 본 연구는 교대근무 서비스 종사자를 대상으로 생활만족도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위하여 제5차 근로 환경조사 원시자료를 이용한 2차 자료분석연구이다. 연구대상자는 총 577명으로 20세 이상의 교대근무 서비스 종사자 중 조사 당시 근무 직장의 경력이 1년 이상이며, 주 40시간이상 근로를 하는 상용근로자만 선택하였다. 자료의 분석은 t-test, One-way ANOVA, Scheffe test, Person's correlation coefficients, Hierarchical multiple regression analysis을 SPSS 23.0 WIN을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 대상자의 일반적 특성에서 연령, 교육정도, 산업업종, 주관적 건강상태에 따라 생활만족도의 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 교대근무 서비스 종사자의 일과 생활 균형과 근무 만족도가 높을수록 생활만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 교대근무 서비스 종사자의 일과 생활균형, 근무만족도간의 관계에서 사회적 지지가 조절효과가 나타났다. 본 연구를 토대로 생활만족의 영향요인을 고려한 교대근무 서비스 종사자에 대한 적극적인 사회적 지지와 근무만족, 일과 생활균형 증진증진 프로그램 개발 및 적용을 하여 교대근무 서비스 종사자의 생활만족도을 향상시켜 개인의 행복뿐만 아니라 기업의 생산성 향상을 기대해 본다.

뇌졸중 환자의 정적, 동적 선자세 균형 대칭성과 보행 기능의 상관관계 연구 (A Study on the Correlation between Static, Dynamic Standing Balance Symmetry and Walking Function in Stroke)

  • Purpose: The aim of the present study was to measure the standing balance symmetry of stroke patients using a force-plate with computer system, and to investigate the correlation between the standing balance symmetry and that of the walking function in stroke patients. Methods: 48 patients with stroke (34 men, 14 women, $56.8{\pm}11.72$ years old) participated in this study. Static standing balance was evaluated by the weight distribution on the affected and the nonaffected lower limbs, sway path, sway velocity, and sway frequency, which reflected the characteristic of body sway in quiet standing. Dynamic standing balance was evaluated by anteroposterior and mediolateral sway angle, which revealed the limit of stability during voluntary weight displacement. Symmetry index of static standing balance, (SI-SSB) calculated by the ratio of the affected weight distribution for the nonaffected weight distribution, and symmetric index of dynamic standing balance (SI-SDB) by the ratio of the affected sway angle for the nonaffected sway angle. Functional balance assessed by a Berg balance scale (BBS), and the functional walking by 10m walking velocity, as well as the modified motor assessment scale (mMAS). Results: Static balance scales and SI-SSB was the only correlation with BBS (p<0.05). Dynamic balance scales and SI-DSB, not only was correlated with BBS, but also with 10m walking velocity and mMAS (p<0.01). Additionally, there was a significant difference between SI-SSB and that of SI-DSB (p<0.01). Conclusion: The balance and the walking function relate to real life in the stroke showed strong relationships with the dynamic standing balance symmetry in the frontal plane and the ability of anterior voluntary weight displacement in sagittal plane.

  • From the cooking data, Japanese rice showed higher water uptake but lower expansion volume, pH and iodine blue value than those of Korean rice. Japanese rice had higher maximum viscosity, breakdown viscosity and pasting temperature but lower final viscosity and setback viscosity than those of Korean rice by RVA analysis. Japanese rice had higher LC (low compression) hardness, U stickiness and HC (high compression) stickiness, LC balance and HC balance, but had lower HC hardness and thickness in the tensipresser data. Also Japanese rice had higher stickiness and balance, and lower hardness from the texturometer analysis. Japanese rice showed higher a cooked taste score than that of the Satake cooked taste machine. The various mean values of Japanese rice after cooking showed better cooking characteristics than the Korean rice. These results might be caused because Japanese rice had a little lower amylose and protein content, but higher tat acidity content.

일-가정 균형을 위한 보육 및 학교 영역에서의 요구도와 정책: 맞벌이 가정을 중심으로 (The Study on the Need and Related Policy for Work-Family Balance in the Area of Educare and School: Focused on the Dual Worker Families)

  • The purposes of this study were to analyze the needs for the balance of work-family and to provide the related policies for dual worker family. We focused on the life area of educare and school. Data were collected from 197 working mothers who have 1 or more children under age 10. The findings were: 1) after-school programs, holidays on every alternate Saturday, arbitrary no school days were not appropriate to the working parents' everyday life patterns, so the paradigm and practical conditions should be adapted to the needs of working parents. 2) the most working parents depended on the kindergarden, but the parents' satisfaction with the quality of service, time duration, the human resource of educare teacher was not sufficient, so these issues should be discussed more profoundly.

자기 효능감이 직장 스트레스 및 워라밸에 미치는 영향: 구조방정식모델 활용을 중심으로 (Effects of Self-Efficacy on Jop-Stress and Work-Life Balance: Focusing on Using Structural Equation Model)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 구조방정식 모델을 이용하여 직장 내 자기 효능감이 직장 스트레스와 워라밸에 미치는 영향을 정량적으로 분석하고, 워라밸을 높이는 방안을 제시하는 것이다. 정부에서 주 52시간 근로정책을 추진하면서 일과 삶의 균형을 의미하는 워라밸이 사회 전반에 걸쳐 중요한 이슈가 되고 있다. 또한, 가정이나 교육계에서 주로 언급되고 있는 자기 효능감은 그 범위가 가정 및 교육계뿐만 아니라 직장 내에서도 그 중요성이 날로 증대되고 있는 실정이다. 구조 방정식 모델에 포함될 관측변수용 자료들은 5,454명의 성인으로부터의 설문을 통해 획득되었으며, 모델 구축 및 통계분석을 위해 AMOS 21이 활용되었다. 직장에서의 자기 효능감은 직장 스트레스와 음의 상관관계를 보이고 있으며, 자기 효능감이 높아질수록 워라밸 수준도 높아지는 것이 분석되었다. 이러한 연구결과는 직장 내에서 업무 중심적인 직장인이 가정보다 직장에 노력과 시간을 더 투자하기 때문에 워라밸이 낮을 것이라는 의견을 부정한다. 추가적으로 본 연구결과는 육군에서 추진하고 있는 워라밸 정책의 분석에도 활용될 수 있다.

콜 센터 상담원의 웰니스에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing the Wellness of Call Center Employees)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to identify the factors influencing the wellness of call center employees. Methods: From December 2018 to October 2019, a cross-sectional study was conducted with 155 workers recruited from the call centers in Seoul, South Korea. Data were collected using self-administered questionnaires. The questionnaires were used to measure the following scales: Korean occupational stress scale, emotional labor scale, work-life balance scale and wellness scale. Using the SPSS 26.0 program, the descriptive statistics, independent t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted. Results: The mean score of the wellness level of call center employees was 3.05 out of a maximum of 5.00. More wellness level of call center employees was associated with gender, psychiatric diagnosis, and call characteristics. A multiple regression analysis indicated that the total scores on the wellness scale were predicted by call characteristics, occupational stress and work-life balance, with an explanatory power of 42.2%. Conclusion: Study findings show that it is necessary to promote wellness in call center workers with differentiated strategies according to call characteristics, occupational stress and work-life balance. This implies that it is necessary to understand the call characteristics and patterns of workers and to provide an innovative wellness program tailored to individual characteristics for an effective management of the emotional labor and occupational stress.

Effects of Eight-week Pilates Training on Elderly People's Dynamic and Static Balance Abilities

  • PURPOSE: Improving elderly people's balance ability through pilates which may be easily applied in ordinary life is considered an important intervention method for elderly people. Therefore, this study examines the effects of pilates training on elderly people's static and dynamic balance abilities and provides clinical data to improve this ability. METHODS: The pilates program was applied to 19 elderly subjects three times per week for 8 weeks. Their training level took into consideration their age and was set so that the rating scales of perceived exertion became 13 to 14. Prior to the initiation of the experiment, the subjects had an adaptation period in order to practice the order and motions of pilates. After the adaptation period, the subjects received training. The program was conducted three times per week, for eight weeks. Their dynamic balance ability was observed through the timed up and go (TUG) test and tandem walk test (TWT), and their static balance ability was evaluated by the center of pressure (COP) area, medial-lateral displacement, and anterior-posterior displacement. RESULTS: The results of the TUG test and TWT and evaluations of the COP area and medial-lateral displacement were significantly different after the pilates exercise program compared to those before the program began. CONCLUSION: The results show that an 8-week pilates exercise program is an effective method to increase elderly people's static and dynamic balance abilities. In addition, the application result of the pilates exercise program will provide useful information for future research on elderly people's balance ability.
