  • Ordinarily hair styles and headclothes show the racial characteristics. Uighur's men had let their long hair hang down their back in many queues, According to the order of estates men wore double high coronets hthree-pointed coronets from the headdress. Married women wore the felt headdress. The type of men's clothes were long caftans which had a round collar slits on the both sides and tight sleeves. They tied Chan Die belts and wore long boots. Women wore long tunics with everted collar which was decorated. Later the type of women's dress was changed into the long caftan. Late period of Turfan Uighur Mongol style had appeared.

  • Let $Z_n(s,\;f)=n^{-1}\;{\sum}^{ns}_{i=1}(f(X_i)-Pf)$ be the sequential empirical process based on the independent and identically distributed random variables. We prove that convergence problems of $sup_{(s,\;f)}|Z_n(s,\;f)|$ to zero boil down to those of $sup_f|Z_n(1,\;f)|$. We employ Ottaviani's inequality and the complete convergence to establish, under bracketing entropy with the second moment, the almost sure convergence of $sup_{(s,\;f)}|Z_n(s,\;f)|$ to zero.

  • Let R be a domain with quotient field K and prime subring A. Then R is integral over each of its subrings having quotient field K if and only if (A, R) is a survival pair. This shows the redundancy of a condition involving going-down pairs in a earlier characterization of such rings. In characteristic 0, the domains being characterized are the rings R that are isomorphic to subrings of the ring of all algebraic integers. In positive (prime) characteristic, the domains R being characterized are of two kinds: either R = K is an algebraic field extension of A or precisely one valuation domain of K does not contain R.

  • We study the connection between the observed star formation rate-stellar mass (SFR-M) relation and the evolution of the stellar mass function (SMF) by means of a Subhalo Abundance Matching technique coupled to merger trees extracted from a N-body simulation. Our approach, which considers both galaxy mergers and stellar stripping, is to force the model to match the observed SMF at redshift z>2, and let it evolve down to the present time according to the observed (SFR-M) relation. In this study, we use two different sets of SMFs and two SFR-M relations: a simple power law and a relation with a mass-dependent slope. Our analysis shows that the evolution of the SMF is more consistent with a SFR-M relation with

  • This paper focused on the possibility of face recognition using Flexible let Point Setting method in Gabor Filter Based Face Recognition. Gabor Filter is very sensible to the Texture variation. Therefore, any little change in the face expression or rotation of posture make recognition rate down significantly. A suggested solution for this problem is the Flexible Jet Point Setting. A significant effect of this method is that the number of Jet Point has been reduced from over 150 to under 30 even though the change of recognition rate between two methods is neglectable, Furthermore a set of feature values which results from a set of Gabor filtering became insensible to face variation such as expression, rotation, and light effect. Retinex Algorithm which has been developed by NASA are used as pre-processing.

  • In this paper, current status of experimental and theoretical work on quantum bits based on the semiconductor quantum dots in the University of Seoul will be presented. A new proposal utilizing the multi-valley quantum state transitions in a Si quantum dot as a possible candidate for a quantum bit with a long decoherence time will be also given. Qubits are the multi-valley symmetric and anti-symmetric orbitals. Evolution of these orbitals is controlled by an external electric field, which turns on and off the inter-valley interactions. Initialization is achieved by turning on the inter-valley Hamiltonian to let the system settle down to the symmetric orbital state. Estimates of the decoherence time is made for the longitudinal acoustic phonon process.

  • The purpose of this paper is to increase the effectiveness of decreasing time - load and cost down in manufacturing company using the new way of regulating standard time - load. Let us take an example of K automobile factory. This company have avoided the used to way of regulating standard ti me load in staff members and increased the effectiveness of decreasing time - load having participated all members centering around the Q.C circle. Here, We can take conclusions as below. 1. We could improve the consciousness of question and the consciousness of efficiency progress as a result of new way. 2. We could encourage the activation of organization and working desire of all members to be participated.

  • Weather-resistant coatings were prepared by mixing a synthesized mill-base and let-down silicone/acrylic resin in weight ratios of 4 : 6, 3 : 7, and 2 : 8. The weatherability of the prepared coatings was tested. The thermal stability, general physical properties, and weatherability of the films of the coatings were improved with silicone content. Among the three mixing ratios mentioned, the ratio of 2 : 8 was the most suitable for the preparation of weather-resistant Coatings. The coatings containing 30 wt% of silicone proved to be a high weather-resistant coating.
