The purposes of this study were to examine the current status of ICT in all ASEAN countries and to provide implications for Korea to find appropriate ways to support and collaborate with HEIs in ASEAN countries. To achieve these purposes, ASEAN countries were categorized into 3 groups based on the development stages of ICT, and the key ICT initiatives, current facts about ICT, and related issues were analyzed. The results of the study were as follows: Group 1 countries, Brunei, Malaysia, and Singapore, with relatively well-established ICT infrastructure, have established their own ICT policies and initiated e-learning programs. Group 2 countries, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam, which have relatively well-developed ICT infrastructure with existing regional gaps, showed different uses of ICT in higher education. Philippines and Thailand established their own policies based on national ICT master plans while Indonesia focused on MOOCs and Vietnam initiated cyber university projects. Group 3 countries, Cambodia, Lao PDR, and Myanmar, with the least developed ICT infrastructure in ASEAN, have also tried to develop national level strategies to utilize ICT in higher education. However, insufficient and inadequate ICT infrastructure created issues and challenges for these countries to successfully initiate ICT policies. This study suggested that it is necessary to take into serious consideration the national differences when collaborating with and supporting ASEAN countries due to the variation of ICT development stages and different levels of using ICT in higher education among ASEAN countries.
The study aimed at investigating preservice elementary school teachers' statistical reasoning when they posed survey questions as they engaged in statistical problem solving, and analyzing how their statistical reasoning affect the subsequent stages. 24 groups of sophomore students(80 students) from two education universities conducted statistical problem solving and completed statistical report, and 22 of them were analyzed. As a result, 9 statistical reasoning were shown when preservice teachers posed survey questions. Among them, question clarification oriented reasoning and variability based reasoning were not exclusively focused upon in the previous research. In order to investigate how statistical reasoning in posing survey questions affected subsequent stages, we examined difficulties and issues that preservice teachers had when they engaged in analyses and conclusion stage described in their report. Consequently, preservice teachers' difficulties were related to population relevant reasoning, category level reasoning, standardization reasoning, alignment to question reasoning, and question clarification oriented reasoning. While previous studies did not focus on question posing stage, this study claimed the necessity of emphasizing various statistical reasoning in question posing and importance of teaching and learning method of appropriate statistical reasoning in question posing.
This is descriptive study to 2nd analysis data KNHANES IV-VI about risk factors of readmission among patients with cardiovascular disease. Among the total 65,973 adults, 1,037 with angina or myocardial infarction were analyzed. The analysis was conducted using SPSS window 21 Program and CHAID decision tree was used in the classification analysis. Root nodes are economic activity(χ2=12.063, p=.001), children's nodes are personal income(χ2=6.575, p=.031), weight change(χ2=12.758, p=.001), residential area(χ2=4.025, p=.045), direct smoking(χ2=3.884, p=.031). p=.049), level of education(χ2=9.630, p=.024). Terminal nodes are hypertension(χ2=3.854, p=.050), diabetes mellitus(χ2=6.056, p=.014), occupation type(χ2=7.799, p=.037). We suggest that the development and operation of programs considering the integrated approach of various factors is necessary for the readmission management of cardiovascular patients.

Despite the influence of real estate in the Korean asset market, it is not easy to predict market trends, and among them, apartments are not easy to predict because they are both residential spaces and contain investment properties. Factors affecting apartment prices vary and regional characteristics should also be considered. This study was conducted to compare the factors and characteristics that affect apartment prices in Seoul as a whole, 3 Gangnam districts, Nowon, Dobong, Gangbuk, Geumcheon, Gwanak and Guro districts and to understand the possibility of price prediction based on this. The analysis used machine learning algorithms such as neural networks, CHAID, linear regression, and random forests. The most important factor affecting the average selling price of all apartments in Seoul was the government's policy element, and easing policies such as easing transaction regulations and easing financial regulations were highly influential. In the case of the three Gangnam districts, the policy influence was low, and in the case of Gangnam-gu District, housing supply was the most important factor. On the other hand, 6 mid-lower-level districts saw government policies act as important variables and were commonly influenced by financial regulatory policies.

The construction industry is considered to be a fatal accident industry, accounting for 28.5% of the total industrial accidents in 2017, as the number of industrial accidents in the construction industry has steadily increased over the past decade. So it is necessary to consider introducing Resilience Engineering, which is actively applied to risky industries around the world, to drastically reduce construction accidents. Although Resilience Engineering, which has emerged as the next-generation safety management centered on Hollnagel since the 2000s, claims the importance of strengthening Resilience abilities considering organizational structure and culture, most studies focus only on developing evaluation indicators. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of an organization's safety culture on its Resilience abilities in the construction industry. Specifically, it conducted empirical analysis on the impact of safety culture consisting of 'communication, leadership and safety systems' on the Resilience abilities(responding ability, monitoring ability, learning ability, anticipating ability), and the mediation relationship between leadership, communication, and safety system. The survey was conducted on construction workers, and an empirical analysis was conducted on the final 154 responses using SPSS 25 and Smart PLS 3. The results showed that the safety system had a significant impact on all Resilience Abilities, and communication had a significant impact on the remaining three except for anticipating ability among Resilience Abilities. On the other hand, leadership has been shown to have a significant impact on anticipating ability only. In the verifying of the mediation relationship between leadership, communication and safety systems, it was found that leadership affects all Resilience abilities by means of safety systems, but communication can only affect responding ability. This study has practical significance in that it suggests the need for policy-level efforts to introduce and apply Resilience Engineering and then expanded the effective safety management assessment of the construction industry in the future. Moreover, the academic implications are important in that the study attempted to expand the academic scope for a paradigm shift in the future as the safety culture has identified its impact on the Resilience abilities.

Many young people, who are most affected by TV audition programs and the K-pop craze, have begun to choose careers in music. They attended music classes through academies or took private lessons, and then went on to a college's practical-music department. As the number of applicants increased, competition for university practical-music programs increased abnormally. As a result, many students then started learning music at an early age through private educational institutions and academies. Afterwards, as high schools related to practical music began to appear, the number of students entering practical-music high school and technical schools increased. However, a big problem in practical-music high schools was difficulty in finding professional teachers who majored in music. This arose because it was difficult for someone with a practical-music major to acquire a full-time teaching certificate. There are many ways to obtain a teacher's license, but the only option for practical-music majors is to graduate from the Graduate School of Education. However, since the Graduate School of Education is limited to classical and traditional music, admission itself is difficult. Even if someone is accepted by the school, most of the courses consist of classical music and traditional music education, which is very difficult for someone who majored in practical music. Therefore, in this thesis, we study the current situation in practical-music high schools, looking at why a regular Level 2 teaching certificate is needed and how to obtain one.

The most serious problem company facing in today's business environment is the failure of new product development outcomes. Statistically, almost half of the new products released each year failed. Despite the innovative technological advances, consumers' expectation level become much higher and global competition is intensifying. In addition, the new product life cycle is becoming shorter and shorter. It is difficult for a company to survive without developing long-lived products. The most important issue in a company's success and failure is the successful development and introduction of new products. Previous research has presented many determinants to achieve a successful new product development. This study focuses on dynamic competence as an important determinant, and identifies the constituting elements. Enterprises need to acquire, absorb, integrate and reconfigure their resources to survive and develop continuously. It is necessary to hold a dynamic ability switching resource bases in order to adapt to changing environments. The results of this study are as follows: First, the effect of learning, reconfiguration, and alliance capabilities on the new product development of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises seems to be positive. Second, the integrative and reconfiguration capabilities positively affect a new product development under high environmental turbulence.

This study was carried out to develop a physics education program for foreign students of university in Korea to improve their ability to major in the field and to prevent them from becoming dropout. The subjects of the study are five Chinese students attending a natural science and engineering college. Prior to the development of the physics education program, the researchers developed basic physics textbooks for the foreign students and questionaries for diagnosis and summative evaluation, and utilized them to apply a total of seven classes. After the application of the classes, the results of the student's diagnosis and summative evaluation, the teacher's diaries, the observer's diaries, and the transcripts were analyzed by triangulation method. In addition, Nvivo12 was used for the analysis of the teacher's and observer's diaries to help with qualitative analysis. The results of the study are as follows: First, the oder and contents of physics education program for students of the natural science and engineering college were presented in detail, and basic physics textbooks and tools for diagnosis and summative assessment were developed. Second, as a result of the analysis of the diagnosis and summative assessment results of the program, the students' basic physics achievement improved by an average of 40 points due to the application of the developed program. Third, as a result of the application of the program using Nvivo12, meaningful node and actual cases were extracted. There were 10 types of nodes created such as understanding of the students, teaching method, rate of the participation, level differences, language problems, relevance to majors, curriculum and methods of education in the country of origin, cooperative learning, and interest inducement. The researcher provided suggestions on physics education methods for students of science and engineering colleges in Korea based on the related cases.
Due to the recent development of system semiconductors, technical innovation for the electric devices of the automobile industry is rapidly progressing. In particular, the electric device of automobiles is accelerating technology development competition among automobile parts makers, and the development cycle is also changing rapidly. Due to these changes, the importance of strategic planning for R&D is further strengthened. Due to the paradigm shift in the automobile industry, the Product-Technical Roadmap (P/TRM), one of the R&D strategies, analyzes technology forecasting, technology level evaluation, and technology acquisition method (Make/Collaborate/Buy) at the planning stage. The product-technical roadmap is a tool that identifies customer needs of products and technologies, selects technologies and sets development directions. However, most companies are developing the product-technical roadmap through a qualitative method that mainly relies on the technical papers, patent analysis, and expert Delphi method. In this study, empirical research was conducted through simulations that can supplement and strengthen the product-technical roadmap centered on the automobile industry by fusing Gartner's hype cycle, cumulative moving average-based data preprocessing, and deep learning (LSTM) time series analysis techniques. The empirical study presented in this paper can be used not only in the automobile industry but also in other manufacturing fields in general. In addition, from the corporate point of view, it is considered that it will become a foundation for moving forward as a leading company by providing products to the market in a timely manner through a more accurate product-technical roadmap, breaking away from the roadmap preparation method that has relied on qualitative methods.
This study aimed to develop a group rap making program and examine its applicability to improve communication skills of adolescents with mild intellectual disabilities (ID). Three adolescents with ID participated in a total of six 50-minute group sessions over 4 weeks. The group rap making program included three stages: understanding the context of communication, learning how to communicate with others, and applying the communicative behaviors in a group setting. To examine changes in the participants' communication skills, the rap lyrics constructed by participants were analyzed and communicative behaviors were observed during sessions and analyzed in terms of asking questions and providing information to others. Also, a social communication skills checklist was rated by the participant's caregivers. The analysis of rap lyrics showed that the expressions included in the rap were diversified as the session proceeded. Changes in observed behaviors supported that participants became to engage in communication with others more actively in order to complete the group rap. While the social communication skills checklist tended to increase, there was a difference in degree of change depending on the level of language communication skills. These results indicate that a group rap making can be an effective option for these adolescents to learn how to communicate with their peers, which presents implications for how rap making can be used for therapeutic purpose with more diversified population.
