The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of learning motivation on interaction in online collaborative learning. The study subjects are 79 university students who take courses in teaching. Learning motivations measured the intrinsic goal orientation, extrinsic goal orientation, tasks value, control of learning beliefs, test anxiety, self-efficacy, goal orientation by MSLQ. Next, the level of interaction was measured by online collaborative tasks. The group for online cooperation tasks consisted of four to five people and random assignment. The level of interaction was used frequency and score that quantitative Value assess. The collected data were analysed using multiple regression analysis(stepwise). As a result, self-efficacy and extrinsic goal orientation, tasks value, mastery goal orientation were positive effect on frequency and score. next, test anxiety and performance avoid goal orientation were negative effect on frequency and score.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that affect the test anxiety among dental hygiene students, including mental health and academic self-efficacy. Methods: A self-administered questionnaire survey was conducted among dental hygiene students in a metropolitan area from July 21 to July 31, 2020, and finally, 196 copies were statistically analyzed using SPSS 21.0. Results: The mean values of mental health, academic self-efficacy, and test anxiety among the dental hygiene students were 1.47±0.41, 2.99±0.46, and 2.76±0.74, respectively. Mental health was negatively correlated with self-efficacy (r=-0.346, p<0.01) and positively correlated with test anxiety (r=0.405, p<0.01), while academic self-efficacy was negatively correlated with test anxiety (r=-0.424, p<0.001). The factors that affect test anxiety were somatization (p<0.05), anxiety (p<0.05), paranoia (p<0.05), task preference (p<0.05), and confidence (p<0.001), which are the detailed items of academic self-efficacy. Conclusions: It is necessary to develop and apply customized health programs suitable for individual students to improve their mental health, as well as develop teaching and learning methods that can improve academic selfefficacy, as mental health and academic self-efficacy are influential factors in test anxiety among dental hygiene students.
Benzodiazepines(BZDs) are among the most widely prescribed drugs in the world. They are potent anxiolytic, antiepileptic, hypnotic, and muscle relaxing agents. There is an emerging model of the role of several neural systems in anxiety and their relation to the mechanism of action of BZDs. It has been postulated that BZD drugs exert their anxiolytic action by regulating GABAergic transmission in limbic areas such as the amygdala, in the posterior hypothalamus, and in the raphe nuclei. The involvement of the amygdala in the behaviors triggered by fear and stress has been suggested by many previous studies. In this review, reports about regulatory effects of endogenous BZD receptor ligands on the perception of anxiety and memory consolidation were summerized. These findings further support the contention that BZD receptor ligands modulate memory consolidation of averse learning tasks by influencing the level of stress and/or anxiety that accompanies a learning experience. The findings suggest that the decrease in the limbic levels of BZD-like molecules seen after the various behavioral procedures represent a general response to stress and/or anxiety, since it occurs in proportion to the level of stress and/or anxiety that accompany these tasks. In addition, these findings further support the hypothesis that the $GABA_A$/BZD receptor complex in limbic structures plays a pivotal role in the stress and anxiety.

In this study, the effects of visual organization and cooperative learning in problem-solving strategy were investigated. Three classes (N=127) at a high school were assigned to SV (Strategy-Visual organization) group, SVC (Strategy-Visual organization-Cooperative learning) group, and control group. After instructions, students' multiple-choice problem-solving ability, strategy performing ability, anxiety about chemistry learning, perception of involvement, and motivation to learning science were examined. Although multiple-choice problem-solving ability was not different significantly, there was a significant main effect in strategy performing ability. The scores of the SV and SVC groups were significantly higher than those of the control group, especially in the subcategories of problem understanding and recalling related principles. In the tests of perception of involvement and motivation to learning science, the scores of the SV and SVC groups were also significantly higher than those of the control group. However, problem-solving strategy using visual organization could not alleviate anxiety about chemistry learning.
There has been a considerable number of studies on aggressive behaviors and violences, but it is hard to find one that gives us clear and satisfactory answers with transparent conclusions. Juvenile aggressiveness seems to be caused by unsatisfied desire in the problematic situations and emotional instability. The aim of this study is to find out how emotional instability - especially mathematics anxiety - is correlated with aggressiveness and how aggressiveness affects mathematics proficiency, and thus to help students improve their academic proficiency by finding out appropriate measures to take in case of aggressive behaviors of students. Main tasks of this study are as follows : 1. To find out any correlation between aggressiveness of the experimental students and their mathematics proficiency. 2. Is there any correlation between aggressiveness and mathematics anxiety\ulcorner 3. Is there any correlation between aggressiveness and academic proficiency\ulcorner The conclusion of this study is as follows : 1. There are some negative correlations between the degree of mathematics anxiety and mathematics proficiency. This is mainly because negative emotional state developed from one's uneasiness for fear of failure disturbs one's learning process and thus weakens the will for achieving the task. 2. While aggressiveness doesn't show any significant correlations with academic proficiency, it does have some with mathematics anxiety.
Objective: The aim of this study is to explore the variation in perceptions about problem-based learning(PBL) according to the level of academic achievement and learning attitude in the nursing students of a junior college (3-year program). Method: Students (n=39) learned the respiratory and cardiac system with seven PBL packages and group-based learning for a semester in 2002. Students were asked to write reflective journals that focused on their learning perception after an experience with each learning package. A total of 208 journals were used for analysis. Result: Students positively perceived that PBL making them increase their sense of responsibility for learning and felt satisfaction with the learning process, and had a confidence in the use of clinical nursing interventions. On the other hand, they negatively perceived that PBL was a burden because it took more time than traditional learning tasks, and they experienced an anxiety about regular tests and felt conflicts and diffidences in the learning process. The negative perceptions were expressed more often from students with a low academic achievement and low learning attitude compared to others. Conclusion: Students perceived the PBL as effective in understanding the learning concepts in the clinical practice environment. PBL need to be supplemented by feedback-based lecture and facilitative strategies for academically low-achieved students. Objective: The aim of this study is to explore the variation in perceptions about problem-based learning(PBL) according to the level of academic achievement and learning attitude in the nursing students of a junior college (3-year program). The purpose of this study was to investigate (1) the aspect of the correlation among subcategories in English reading anxiety, (2) the aspect of the cause and effect relation. The reading anxiety was measured by a questionnaire. Then, the results were analyzed by SPSS program. The findings of this study were as follows: First, most of the sub-elements in reading anxiety in both groups correlate with one another even though the overall coefficient of correlation in high achievement group is rather higher. Second, it is also found that the lack of confidence for reading has negative influence on entire reading anxiety in both groups, which is followed by lengthy reading, evaluation and general anxieties in consecutive order. The implication of this study is that the teachers and students should be aware that the constituents of reading anxiety not only correlate with one another, but have great deal of relative influence on reading process. Therefore, teachers should organize a learning environment where learners can minimize the feeling of anxiety.

It is important to keep learners' feeling positive during learning to enhance learning performance. According to flow theory,challenge-skill balance is a precondition for flow experience: Learners feel anxiety when the challenge of learning is higher than their ability, feel boredom when the challenge of learning is lower than learners' ability, and engage in flow status when the challenge of learning matches the learners' ability. However, the current empirical study reveals that emotions related to enjoyment may appear when the learners' skill is equal to or higher than the learning challenge. Nevertheless, boredom emotion may appear when learners perceive the courses are difficult but unimportant. These empirical survey results revealed the necessary of rethinking the appearance of boredom and enjoyment emotions in computer education.

The purpose of this study is to examine the influences of learners' self-efficacy on class satisfaction in learning practical basic sewing. Questionnaires were distributed to 181 college women students living in the areas of Deagu Metropolitan City and Gyeongbuk Province. The data obtained were analyzed by using various statistical tools: frequency, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression. The self efficacy of learners of practical basic sewing were made up of five factors: ability to manage interpersonal relationships, ability to deal with assigned tasks, anxiety, challenging spirit, and fear. Class satisfaction was composed of the following factors such as interest in class, professors' ability, achievement of class objectives, connectivity, preparation for class, preference for practices, and perfectibility. This study indicated the correlations between sub-variables of learners' self efficacy and class satisfaction. In other words, the higher were the levels of ability to manage interpersonal relationships, and ability to deal with assigned tasks in self efficacy, the higher were the levels of interest in class, professors' ability, achievement of class objectives, preference for practices, and perfectibility in class satisfaction. The factors of ability to deal with assigned tasks, anxiety, and challenging spirit, in learners' self efficacy were found to have statistically significant effects on the achievement of class objectives. The factor of ability to deal with assigned tasks in self efficacy had a statistically significant influence on professors' ability. The factors of ability to deal with assigned tasks, anxiety, challenging spirit and fear were found to have statistically significant effects on all the factors of class satisfaction.

Astragalus Membranaceus (AM) is a useful Korean herb that has been clinically prescribed for stress-related illness. The objective of the present study was to examine the anti-stress effects of AM on repeated stress-induced alterations of anxiety, learning and memory in rats. Restraint stress was administered for 14 days (2h/day) and AM (400mg/kg) given by oral administration, in the AM group, for the same period. Starting on the eighth day, the rats were tested for spatial memory on the Morris water maze test (MW) and for anxiety on the elevated plus maze (EPM). Changes of expression on immunohistochemistry were studied for cholineacetyl transferase (ChAT) and tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) in the brain. The results showed that the rats treated with AM had significantly reduced stress-induced deficits on learning and memory on the spatial memory tasks. In addition, the ChAT immunoreactivities were increased. In the EPM, treatment with AM increased the time spent in the open arms (p<0.001) compared to the control group. In addition, AM treatment also normalized increases of TH expression in the LC (p<0.001). In conclusion, administration of AM improved spatial learning and memory and reduced stress-induced anxiety. Thus, the present results suggest that AM is able to recover behavioral and neurochemical impairments induced by stress.
