The disposition towards volunteer work and leadership traits are the basic qualities that should be possessed by teenagers who are to become next generation leaders. The 'Volunteer Work and Leadership' program was developed to attain this goal and all S high school students were subjected to this program. This program was comprised of four modules, and this dissertation is focused on the second module: 'Wisdom Leader'. This program, which was conducted for six hours on a daily basis, was carried out two times per day during the first semesters of 2006 and 2007 on freshmen students. The program was comprised of three conceptual frameworks-Education of the heart that improves your emotion which includes 'cultural performance', 'volunteer work leadership group performance' and 'spot strategy for stress management'. Education of the hand pursues knowledge, which includes 'special lecture of leadership' and 'leader research through movies', and Education of hand which students directly participate in workshops were also used. After studying the results of the program, it was found that the satisfaction level of the education was higher during the second session than the first session. Therefore the objective of this program to enhance the leadership qualities of students was attained Also, this dissertation was able to reaffirm the relationship between volunteer work and leadership. I hope that the leadership content can be used systematically for enhancing the educational effect of volunteer work.
Purpose : The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of nursing organizational culture and head nurse's leadership on the job satisfaction. Methods : For the purpose, a structured questionnaire was conducted. The subjects were 232 nurses who were working in the 2 general hospitals. The data were collected from Sep. 1 to Sep. 20 of 2006. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, t-test, Pearson Correlation Coefficient, and multiple regression. Results : The dominant organizational culture of nursing organization was rank-oriented culture. The mean score of head nurse's transformational leadership and transactional leadership was 3.20 and 2.79 respectively. The best group of job satisfaction was affiliative-oriented culture group(3.31). The score of job satisfaction of transformational leadership's group was higher than that of transactional leadership's group. Job satisfaction was positively correlated with affiliative-oriented culture, innovative-oriented culture, task-oriented culture, and transformational leadership. Concerning of the job satisfaction, affiliative-oriented culture, rotation time and age explained 25.7%. Conclusion : The organizational culture and head nurse's leadership was correlated with job satisfaction. Especially affiliative-oriented culture and task-oriented culture influenced the job satisfaction. Based on the results, further development should be continued to develop the effective head nurse's leadership and organizational culture to improve the job satisfaction of nurses.

Purpose: This study aims to clarify the concept of entrepreneurial leadership by reviewing the relevant existing studies, and to examine changes in entrepreneurial leadership research through review and statistical analysis on the articles published in Korean and international journals. Research Design, Data, and Methodology: Among the papers published between 2010 and 2020, 8 Korean studies and 42 international studies (UK and US) that clearly identify entrepreneurial leadership as research topic were analyzed. Results: Examinations on the yearly trends, keywords, and research methods reveal that research on entrepreneurial leadership is increasing recently with the emphasis on the statistical analysis. Keyword analysis shows high frequency of team and innovation for domestic research, while overseas research focuses on entrepreneurship, leadership, and gender associated keywords. Conclusions: This study has confirmed that overseas studies employ various methodologies, focusing on statistical analysis and that the effect of entrepreneurial leadership are in progress. For domestic cases, studies on entrepreneurial leadership are limited in number. Research topics and methods are areas that need further improvements. Research on entrepreneurial leadership has recently begun, requiring diversity in the subjects and methods for future development
There is an important concern regarding the First-line nurse manager's leadership because of the recognition that effectiveness of Leadership in this position results in benefits for the whole health care organization. So knowledge and practice of effective leadership behavior are now more essential to nursing than ever before. First-line Nurse Managers must be effective leaders to meet today's challenge because staff nurse, patient are affected by them. So the purpose of this study was to identify and to analyse the need for Leadership program of First-Line nurse managers in university hospitals. There were three major purposes of this study. First, identify First-line nurse managers general characteristic, second, identify their experience of leadership training, third, identify and analysis their demands for leadership training program. The subjects for this study was 167 First-line nurse manager randomly from 18 university hospitals in Korea. The data were collected through questionnaires from Oct. 13th to Nov. 20th, 1997, data was analysed using frequencies and percentages. Especially the steps of analysis of descriptions were as follows: Initial analysis centered on the identification of the demands of first-line nurse managers. Later analysis collapsed the demands into broad categories. From the collect data, 283 demands of first-line nurse managers were identified. These demands were then sorted into 3 broad categories that included : Self development as first-line nurse managers, relationship with others, and practice. The result of the study were as follows ; 1) Most of nurse managers(79.6%) had leadership training course and had good experience to improve self leadership. 2) Their demands of leadership training course are as follows First, for self as first-line nurse managers, they want to learn leadership theory, identify their leadership style and then develop their leadership skill. Second, for others as first-line nurse managers, they want to improve their communication skill, empowering others, relationship with others. Third, for patients as first-line nurse managers, improve their knowledge of practice. From the above finding, this study can be suggested the following; 1. Develope a leadership training course to improve first- line nurse manager's leadership skill according to their demands, so they will be better able to lead staff nurses for organization purposes. 2. When develope leadership training program, it must be contained the factors which first-line nurse managers want to learn.
This investigated 205 dental personnel in Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do to find out the effects of Dental Hygienist(Nurse's Aide)'s coaching leadership on job satisfaction, motivational self-concept and quality of life. the entire average of coaching leadership was 2.67 On 5 point scale, development coaching 2.61, relationship coaching 2.61. "my boss fully provides me with training opportunities for my development' had the lowest 2.50. As for coaching leadership according to general characteristics, had the highest average those aged of 20-25years old, work experience of 1-5years, single, salary less than 20 million, female immediate superior, immediate superior aged 20-30years old, position of immediate superior is team head, senior dental hygienists(p<.05). The three criteria had positive correlation with coaching leadership(p<.05). Therefore, Right coaching leadership increases job satisfaction, improves motivational self-concept for increasing individual development, raises quality of life.
The purpose of this study is as follows: First, this study investigates the effect of the supervisor's coaching leadership on the employee's protean career attitude. Second, we examine the effect of a protean career attitude on career satisfaction. Finally, we examine the mediating effect of protean career attitude on the relationship between supervisor's coaching leadership and career satisfaction. As a result of analyzing the data of 329 employees from pharmaceutical companies, the positive influence of coaching leadership on the protean career attitude was significant. The positive effect of the protean career attitude on career satisfaction was significant. The mediating effect of the protean career attitude on the relationship between coaching leadership and career satisfaction was significant. The findings of this study provide an understanding regarding the concept of career development, which has recently changed from an organization-centered to an individual-centered perspective. Also, this study has theoretical and practical implications for the field of human resource development in that it suggests the type of leadership as an antecedent of protean career attitudes.

This study was conducted with the aim of testing the relationship between authority-giving leadership recognized by maritime police officials with organizational citizenship behavior. There are various types of leadership. Marine police officials will be able to help solve more effective problems in practice by the authority granted due to the nature of their duties. Organizational citizenship behavior is informal, though. However, as a result, it is related to organizational development. Recently, as a study for organizational development, many studies on empowerment leadership and organizational citizenship behavior are being conducted. In this study, 168 marine police officials were surveyed. As a result of the study, the authority-granting leadership and organizational citizenship behavior of marine police officials are very important factors due to the dangers and unexpectedness of the duties of marine police officials. Policy suggestions were made for the development of the maritime police organization.

The future society is forcasted the creativity society. The employee creativity and the leadership are more important than any other factor of the organization. This research would review the antecedent study of the superordinate leadership and the employee creativity. The major purpose of this study are theorically and empirically to identify the relationship between the superordinate leadership and the employee creativity. However, this would suggest the direction of the employee creativity development for both the management and the scholars.
The organizational effectiveness of hospital in various environmental fluctuations is a large and complex problem. Hospital CEO leadership characteristics may be a critical determinant of employees' job satisfaction and turnover intention. Several empirical studies on transformational leadership found that transformational leadership behaviors were positively related to workers' job satisfaction and turnover intention. Very little research related to this subject has been done in health care settings in Korea. The author explores the relationship between hospital CEO leadership style and its effect on job satisfaction and turnover intention among the all staffs of general hospital. The relationship of hospital CEO leadership style to employees' job satisfaction was investigated using the Bass's leadership paradigm of transformational and transactional leadership. The Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire(MLQ) and the index of job satisfaction and turnover intention were completed by 493 hospital employees(doctors, nurses, hospital administrators, technicians, and assistants). The findings show a similar trend to the previous studies. Hospital CEO leadership behaviors and employee outcomes were significantly correlated. Correlations showed a significant positive relationship between those hospital CEO exhibiting a transformational leadership style and the job satisfaction of their staffs. The results of multiple regression analysis indicate that the effect of charisma in transformational leadership behaviors is more higher than other variables. Transformational leadership style may be a more effective strategy and have a greater effect on staff outcomes, attitudes and behaviors. The findings of this study reveal implications for efficient hospital management and the importance of understanding relationship between hospital CEO's leadership style and subordinate behaviors in the context of CEO's desirable role and function for hospital strategy planning and future direction.

The main purpose of the current research was to induce the importance of manners through the relationship between the level of transformational leadership in the family and the degree of job satisfaction in workers. It also examined positive variants that can enhance the degree of job satisfaction. The data from 250 questionnaires were used for the final analysis. The main results of the present study are as follows: First, the level of transformational leadership in the family tended to be relatively low, although it was good at the intellectual stimulus leadership among the sub-dimension of the "Family Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire." Moreover, communication, status, and education level turned out to be most influential background variables. Secondly, the score for job satisfaction that is recognized by the workers appeared to be less than average. It seemed that relative comparison in the level of life, communication and education level were the most influential variables. Indeed, the result of stepwise regression analysis showed that transformational leadership made a comparatively high contribution to job satisfaction. Therefore, it is important to keep in mind that a worker's leadership development is a main source of maintaining job satisfaction.
