차분진화 알고리즘을 이용한 흙막이 벽체의 다층지반 역해석 : 디지털 트윈 기초연구 (Multi-layered Ground Back Analysis of Retaining Wall Using Differential Evolution Algorithm : Basic Research of Digital Twin)

  • 흙막이 벽체의 시공 중 안정성을 확보하기 위하여 시공현장의 지반 정보를 조사하는 것은 매우 중요한 일이다. 흙막이 벽체 시공단계에서 지반의 정보는 지반조사를 통해 확인하고 있지만, 실제 지반 정보의 특성은 결과와 상이할 수 있다. 실시간으로 흙막이 벽체의 안정성을 분석하기 위해서는 실제 지반의 상태를 반영하는 것이 중요하다. 또한 벽체가 불안정하다고 판단 시 벽체의 안정성을 확보하기 위하여 적절한 솔루션을 제공해야 한다. 본 연구는 차분진화 알고리즘을 통하여 실제 지반의 정보를 예측하고 흙막이 벽체의 디지털 트윈을 통하여 흙막이 벽체의 안정성을 실시간으로 판단하는 기법을 제시하고자 한다.

  • During the ground fault conditions, the flow of current to earth will produce potential gradients within and arround a substation. The common physiological effects of electric current on the body, stated in order of increasing current magnitude, are threshold perception, muscular contraction, unconsciousness, fabrillation of the heart. In this study, determined the tolerable voltage about earth-layered structure in the grounding system.

  • During the construction period of submarine shield tunnel, which is built firstly in very soft marine clay layer 40m deep in Korea, wide range problems were encountered such as safe launching against high earth pressure at shield entrance, technique of shield face pressure control when passing through complex multi-layered soils This paper introduces successful construction practice through development of state-of-the-art construction method and field monitoring.

대심도 준설 매립지반에서의 층별침하 계측관리에 관한 사례 연구 (Instrumentation Management of Differential Settlement of the Deep Soft Ground with Dredged Clay Reclaimed in the Upper)

  • 상부에 준설매립점토층이 존재하고 점토층이 두껍게 분포되어 있는 부산항 신항만에서 측정된 지표침하 값과 층별침하 값은 많은 차이가 있다. 이런 결과의 원인과 해결방안을 찾기 위하여 연약지반 개량에 사용된 층별침하계의 실태, 층별침하계 형식별 특성, 설치방법, 계측 빈도, 계측데이터 관리방안, 결과의 정리 및 분석 등에 대해 고찰해 보았다. 대변형이 발생하는 대심도 연약지반 개량공사에서 스크류타입의 층별침하계의 경우 휨 변형이 다른 형식의 계측기에 비해 적어 망실의 우려도 적고 각 지층별로 천공하여 계측기를 설치하므로 데이터의 신뢰도도 상대적으로 높다. 정도 높은 침하계측 자료의 양이 많을수록 침하분석 정밀도는 높아지므로 표준시방서에서 제시한 계측빈도보다 기준을 강화하여 관리가 필요하다. 층별침하계 계측데이터의 관리는 측점별 지표침하량, 층별침하량, 간극수압계 침하량과 같이 해당 구간의 침하량과 성토고의 경시 그래프 작성하여 관리하는 것이 바람직하다. 침하분석은 압축특성이 다른 다층지반일 경우 층별침하 데이터를 이용하여 각 지층별 압밀특성을 각각 산정하여 침하분석이 이루어지는 게 더 타당하다.

  • Rapid industrialization and urbanization caused by the high economic growth of the country requires optimization of land usage as well as the expansion of underground space. Therefore the construction of large and deep basements is inevitable in built up areas where the braced excavation for earth retaining structures may create many problems such as settlement and damages of nearby buildings and underground utilities. In this work, some of major influential factors concerning the stability of braced excavation are investigated and the results are compared with the field observation results. The ground water table, applied strut forces, horezontal wall displacement, infilling materials in the rock joints were found to be the most critical factors influencing the stability of braced walls constructed in the layered ground. Magnituide and type of the wall deformation was closely related to the pattern of the surface settlement. The stability of braced walls are described in terms of strut forces.

  • The SASW method is a promising and effective way of profiling ground stiffness nondestructively. This method has been successfully applied to many geotechnical sites, but significant lateral variability, embedded obstacles, and pavement lead to the low reliability. To improve these problems, the horizontal wave component has been introduced to improve the reliability of the stiffness profile determined by the SASW method. To understand dispersion character of the horizontal component wave propagation in artificial profiles, FEM analysis had been performed. Used models are homogeneous half-space and two layered half- spaced layers.

다층지반 굴착시 토류벽에 작용하는 토압분포 (Earth Pressure Distribution on Retention Walls in the Excavation of Multi -Layered Ground)

  • In deep excavations for creation of underground spaces, it would be difficult to predict earth pressure, especially multilayered ground including rock strata. The earth pressures and displacements on the retention walls are measured by load cell, strain gauge and inclinometer which were installed at struts or anchors at 4 deep excavation sites in Seoul area. In this paper, the measured earth pressure from the struts or anchors are compared with Peck's empirical values, and the coefficient of the earth pressures for each strata and horizontal wall displacement are investigated. The coefficient of earth pressure distribution, a(0.65zka), in the flexible and the rigid walls was about 74% and 88% of Peck's value respecitively. The measured earth pressure distributions for the 4 sites showed about 70%∼80% of Peck's empirical values and the average earth pressure coefficients based on the measured data were 0.3 for the felted layer, 0.23 for the weathered rock and 0.19 for the weak rock. The maximum w리1 displacements were found to be less 0.2% of excavation depth.

  • This research aims to verify the stress distribution in soil according to the composition of the soil layer in case of surface loading. For this purpose, loading tests with measurement of stresses in the soil on four kinds of layered model ground in laboratory were performed. Those are (1)homogeneous sand, (2)gravel underlain by sand, (3)sand underlain by clay and (4)gravel underlain by clay. Test results are compared and analysed for the compositions of the soil layers. based on the results obtained, it is found that the larger the difference of the strengths of upper and lower layer is, the smaller the stress in the soil in case of surface loading is.

  • The Spectral Analysis of surface Waves(SASW) Method has a great has a great potential for rapid determination of shear wave velocity profile of ground. However, it has an inherent limitation in the interpretation of test results due to the assumption that the ground is layered horizontally. The reason of the assumption is that difficulties exist in obtaining analytical solutions of wave equation when a soil system is composed of inclined soil layer. In this study, a finite-element method has been employed to assess the effects of dip angle and stiffness contrast of inclined soil layers and the testing direction on the dispersion curve. The propagation of wave front in the inclined soil layer was also investigated. The results indicated that the influence of dip angle on the dispersion curve is getting obvious as the dip angle increases and the propagation of wave front in the inclined layer also entirely different compared with the case of the horizontal layer.

  • The structural responses of underground structures are examined in probability by using the elasto-plastic stochastic finite element method in which the spatial distributions of material properties are assumed to be stochastic fields. In addition, the adaptive importance sampling method using the response surface technique is used to improve simulation efficiency. The method is found to provide appropriate information although the nonlinear Limit State involves a large number of basic random variables and the failure probability is small. The probability of plastic local failures around an excavated area is effectively evaluated and the reliability for the limit displacement of the ground is investigated. It is demonstrated that the adaptive importance sampling method can be very efficiently used to evaluate the reliability of a large scale stochastic finite element model, such as the underground structures located in the multi-layered ground.
