A Four-Layer Robust Storage in Cloud using Privacy Preserving Technique with Reliable Computational Intelligence in Fog-Edge

  • The proposed framework of Four Layer Robust Storage in Cloud (FLRSC) architecture involves host server, local host and edge devices in addition to Virtual Machine Monitoring (VMM). The goal is to protect the privacy of stored data at edge devices. The computational intelligence (CI) part of our algorithm distributes blocks of data to three different layers by partially encoded and forwarded for decoding to the next layer using hash and greed Solomon algorithms. VMM monitoring uses snapshot algorithm to detect intrusion. The proposed system is compared with Tiang Wang method to validate efficiency of data transfer with security. Hence, security is proven against the indexed efficiency. It is an important study to integrate communication between local host software and nearer edge devices through different channels by verifying snapshot using lamport mechanism to ensure integrity and security at software level thereby reducing the latency. It also provides thorough knowledge and understanding about data communication at software level with VMM. The performance evaluation and feasibility study of security in FLRSC against three-layered approach is proven over 232 blocks of data with 98% accuracy. Practical implications and contributions to the growing knowledge base are highlighted along with directions for further research.

  • 본 논문은 사용자 위치를 인식하여 공을 자동으로 서브하는 테니스 훈련용의 로봇 개발을 목적으로 한다. 로봇 기술을 스포츠 분야에 활용하는 경우, 야외 환경 및 스포츠 경기 방식의 특수성에 기인하여 시각, 음성과 같은 모달리티 인식에 다양한 문제점이 존재한다. 영상 정보를 이용하여 경기장 내의 사용자 가로 및 깊이 방향의 위치를 인식하는 과정에서, 네트 주위에서의 사용자 자세 변화에 따른 위치 오차 감소를 위해 가우시안 혼합 모델 및 칼만 필터를 적용하고, 이에 따라 해당 위치로 공을 서브하는 기능을 구현하고자 한다. 이를 위해 팬 틸트 기반의 움직임이 가능한 로봇 구동부 및 공압 제어 기반의 공을 발사하는 기능을 구현하고, 이를 다계층의 소프트웨어 구조로 구성하였다. 최종적으로 실험을 통한 추적 기능 및 훈련용 장치의 실효성 및 보완점을 논하고자 한다.

외래병원 환경에서 UHF 수동형 RFID 기술을 활용한 태그 추적 시스템 개발 (System Development for Tracking a UHF Passive RF1D Tag in an Outpatient Clinic)

  • RFID 시스템은 초기 공급사슬관리 영역에서 다양한 영역으로 확산되고 있다. 의료분야 또한 환자, 의료진, 의료기기 등의 위치추적 관리 의약품 추적관리 등의 영역에 RFID 시스템 도입을 진행하고 있다. 본 연구는 외래병원에서 태그의 위치추적을 위한 수동형 RFID 기술기반의 시스템 구축 사례를 4계층의 시스템 구조를 활용하여 분석하였다. 특히 일반적으로 수동형 RFID 기술에서 경험하는 불안정한 인식 데이터 문제를 해결하기 위하여 두 계층으로 구성된 데이터 처리 절차를 제시하였다. 본 논문에서 제시한 데이터 처리 절차를 실제사례에서 취합한 데이터에 적용하여 태그의 위치를 정확하게 파악하고 추가적인 업무 정보를 도출하는 것이 가능함을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 보다 안정적이고 효과적인 RFID 시스템 구축을 위하여 사례분석에서 경험한 추가적인 논의사항과 연구방향을 제시하였다.

탄소섬유쉬트(CFRP Sheets)로 보강된 장주 각형강관기둥의 중심축하중거동 (Behaviors of Long Square Hollow Section Columns Retrofitted using Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer Sheets(CFRP Sheets) Subjected to Concentrated Axial Loading)

  • 본 연구에서는 각형 중공강관(SHS) 장주기둥에 CFRP쉬트를 길이방향으로 보강하여 중심축하중 실험을 수행하였다. 총 3개의 장주실험체와 1개의 stub column 실험체를 제작하였으며, 실험변수는 CFRP 보강겹수이다. 실험결과 장주기둥에 대해 실험체 중간에서 전체좌굴이 발생하며 횡변위가 발생하여 파괴되었지만, CFRP쉬트의 보강을 통해 전체좌굴을 제어하며 횡변위로 인한 안정성을 확보하였다. 또한 CFRP쉬트의 보강으로 최대 22%의 내력이 상승하여 내력상승효과를 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 이 논문은 유스 케이스 기반 실시간 시스템을 위한 디자인 지향 테스트를 소개한다. 우리는 디자인 스키마를 기능적 컴포넌트의 계층적 디자인 컴포넌트 아키텍처(즉 디자인 컴포넌트)로 분할 하는 실시간 소프트웨어 개발을 위한 확장 유스 케이스에 초점을 둔다. 실행 순차의 다양한 유스 케이스의 액션 단위를 기술하는 관련된 시나리오를 포함하는, 즉 실시간 시스뎀 설계의 동적 특성을 반영하는, 유스 케이스 액션 메트릭스를 제안한다. 실시간 시스템을 제안한 디자인 지향 테스트에 적용 시도를 통해 생산성 향상을 위한 시나리오 순서화를 생성하고 기존의 테스트 케이스 재사용을 진작시킨다.

  • The design and implementation of an engine control system has become an important area in developing a new car, but the implementation of an engine control system is becoming a tedious and time-consuming work as the level of complexity increases. In order to shorten the development cycle of the control system, rapid control prototyping (RCP) technique deserves developers' attention. A new RCP platform has been developed for an automotive engine control application. This prototyping system strictly adheres to the layered architecture of the final production ECU, and separates the automatically generated part of software, or the application area, from the hand coded area, which generally carefully designed and tested because of the hardware dependency and the efficiency of microcontroller. The $Matlab{\circledR}$ tool-chain of Mathworks Inc. has been selected as a base environment in this study. A newly developed Engine Control Toolbox of Real-Time $Workshop{\circledR}$ converts a graphically represented control algorithm into optimized application codes and links them with other parts of the software to generate executable code for the target processor.

A study on the Robust and Systolic Topology for the Resilient Dynamic Multicasting Routing Protocol

  • In the recently years, there has been a big interest in ad hoc wireless network as they have tremendous military and commercial potential. An Ad hoc wireless network is composed of mobile computing devices that use having no fixed infrastructure of a multi-hop wireless network formed. So, the fact that limited resource could support the network of robust, simple framework and energy conserving etc. In this paper, we propose a new ad hoc multicast routing protocol for based on the ontology scheme called inference network. Ontology knowledge-based is one of the structure of context-aware. And the ontology clustering adopts a tree structure to enhance resilient against mobility and routing complexity. This proposed multicast routing protocol utilizes node locality to be improve the flexible connectivity and stable mobility on local discovery routing and flooding discovery routing. Also attempts to improve route recovery efficiency and reduce data transmissions of context-awareness. We also provide simulation results to validate the model complexity. We have developed that proposed an algorithm have design multi-hierarchy layered networks to simulate a desired system.

  • This paper presents a framework of hybrid dynamic control systems for the motion control of wheeled mobile robot systems with nonholonomic constraints. The hybrid control system has the 3-layered hierarchical structure: digital automata for the higher process, mobile robot system for the lower process, and the interface as the interaction process between the continuous dynamics and the discrete dynamics. In the hybrid control architecture of mobile robot, the continuous dynamics of mobile robots are modeled by the switched systems. The abstract model and digital automata for the motion control are developed. In high level, the discrete states are defined by using the sensor-based search windows and the reference motions of a mobile robot in low level are specified in the abstracted motions. The mobile robots can perform both the motion planning and autonomous maneuvering with obstacle avoidance in indoor navigation problem. Simulation and experimental results show that hybrid system approach is an effective method for the autonomous maneuvering in indoor environments

Effects of infilled concrete and longitudinal rebar on flexural performance of composite PHC pile

  • Concrete infill and reinforcement are one of the most well-known strengthening methods of structural elements. This study investigated flexural performance of concrete infill composite PHC pile (ICP pile) reinforced by infill concrete and longitudinal rebars in hollow PHC pile. A total four series of pile specimens were tested by four points bending method under simply supported conditions and investigated bending moment experimentally and analytically. From the test results, it was found that although reinforcement of infilled concrete on the pure bending moment of PHC pile was negligible, reinforcement of PHC pile using infilled concrete and longitudinal rebars increase the maximum bending moment with range from 1.95 to 2.31 times than that of conventional PHC pile. The error of bending moment between experimental results and predicted results by nonlinear sectional analysis on the basis of the conventional layered sectional approach was in the range of -2.54 % to 2.80 %. The axial compression and moment interaction analysis for ICP piles shows more significant strengthening effects of infilled concrete and longitudinal rebars.

Multimedia Presentation Authoring and Virtual Collaboration in Medicine

  • Web-based virtual collaboration is increasingly gaining popularity in almost every area in our society due to the fact that it can bridge the gap imposed by time and geographical constraints. However, in medical field, such collaboration has been less popular than other fields. Some of the reasons were timeliness, security, and preciseness of the information they are dealing with. In this paper, we are proposing a web-based distributed medical collaboration system called Virtual Collaboration System for Medicine (VCSM) for medical doctors that meet the needs. The proposed system consists of two parts - multimedia presentation and recordable virtual collaboration. The former supports synchronized multimedia presentation using Synchronous Multimedia Integration Language (SMIL.) It allows synchronization of the contents of a PowerPoint presentation file and a video file. The presentation may be provided to the participants before the discussion begins. Next, in the virtual collaboration stage, participants can use text along with associated symbols during the discussion over the presented medical images. The symbols such as arrows or polygons can be set or removed dynamically to represent areas of interest in digital images using so called layered architecture that separates image layer from annotation layer. XML files are used to record participants' opinions along with the symbols over some particular images
