Building on the framework of language socialization [10] in language learning and use, the present study examines the environmental factors involved in four college students' English learning in the situated place of the home during the COVID-19 pandemic. Using narrative inquiry, this study implements a time-series analysis to investigate undergraduates' online English learning in a rural area of northwest China. The data were collected via oral and written narration, semi-structured interviews, and class documents. Leveraging the field-habitus theories, the findings reveal that each of the students had a different habitus in the family field that influenced their English learning at home between March to July of 2020. Ultimately, all four students felt that their habitus made their online English learning ineffective and expressed that they did not wish to continue learning at home. The findings imply that it is important for rural parents to pay more attention to building college students' learning environments and helping students cultivate a strong learning habitus in the family field in northwest China.
Purpose: This study is to determine the patterns of relationship between organizational socialization (OS) and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) among nurses working in a general hospital setting by examining whether organizational adaptation through OS leads to positive behavioral changes, which may be helpful to improve organizational performances. Methods: The data were collected from 494 nurses in five general hospitals using a structured questionnaire, and they were analyzed by conducting canonical correlation analysis using SPSS 12.0. Results: The analysis of the relationship patterns between OS and OCB revealed that two significant canonical correlations between the two groups of nurses with less than 5 years of working experience (LT) vs. more than 5 years of experience (MT), respectively. Thus, the complicated correlations between OS and OCB were identified. The variables that contributed to each canonical function most were 'politics', 'organizational goals and values' in the LT group, and 'organizational goals and values' and 'language' in the MT group. The notable point in the relation between OS and OCB in our study was negative contribution of 'sportsmanship' among the OCB variables in the MT group. This is thought to be the negative effect of OS. Conclusion: More effective workforce management could be achieved by adopting a differentiated approach according to work experience. To develop a better program to enhance OS, more careful attention to OCB of experienced nurses should be paid to minimize a negative effect on organization while rewarding individuals or departments for a positive organizational behavior.

Socialization of doctoral students refers to the process through which they acquire various types of information about their work, department, university, and discipline for their future careers. This study aims to investigate information behaviors, with emphasis on identifying types of information exchanged in mentoring between faculty advisors and their doctoral students in library and information science (LIS). As a first step to developing a content framework for LIS doctoral mentoring, the author interviewed ten LIS doctoral students from nine U.S. universities. Based on data from these interviews, the author identified sixteen types of information exchanged: language, history, coursework, research, skills, teaching, networking, structure, politics, goals, strategies, values, norms/tradition, rules/policies, benefits, and personal life. In comparison with a content framework used, four dimensions were newly added. In addition to the identification of content dimensions, the author observed four meaningful contextual levels to which the content types can be applied: work, department/school, university, and discipline. The qualitative data also showed that interpersonal factors of advisees/advisors and contextual factors might relate to information exchange in doctoral mentoring. In a following paper, the author will present the results of a follow-up survey that tests and generalizes the findings of this study.
This study aims to analyse the conversation structure on Talking Culture("說漢語 淡文化") that is one of the conversation textbooks about Chinese culture and investigate Chinese textbooks published in Korea and Japan from a integration point of view among language, literature and culture for improving upon the problems on Talking Culture. For this purpose, this study, before analysing and investigating, considered the concept of language socialization on learning Chinese as a foreign language, and on the basis of it, analysed the conversation structure of Talking Culture. And then this study examined how we should organize the structures and contents when making conversations in Chinese textbook related with culture in compared with the Chinese textbooks published in Korea and Japan. In conclusion, this study argues that when composing a conversation textbook with culture, we not only need to pay attention not to have an inclination for conversation structure, but need to make use of the contents in Chinese literary and culture works for organizing conversations from the perspective of integration among language, literature and culture.

The results were as follows: 1) 6-year-old children had higher perceptive ability of sameness and calculation ability than 5-year-old children. Girls also had higher IQ and language concept than boys, 2) 6-year-old children's communication socialization and total social ability were higher than those of 5-year old children Girls' communication and total social ability were higher than those of boys. This study was conducted to measure the degree of Korean Gender Egalitarianism among the students from six different high schools(132 girls, 127 boys) in Sunchon si, Chunnam province from Dec. 7th to Dec. 15th in 1999. The survey on gender egalitarianism was done in relation to the public understanding of the subject matter, parents' hug times, and parent's communication skills. Korean gender egalitari- anism scale was standardized by Korea Woman Developmental Institutes in 1999. The data was analyzed by SAS program. Results were as follows: 1) Generally, girls are more conscious of gender egalitariannism than boys(t=-13.79, p<.001). Above all, the younger the students are, the more they feel equal(F=8.01, p<.01). In sibling cases, two sisters have the highest level of gender egalitarianism while two brothers have the lowest level of gender egalitarianism(F=9.20, p<.001). Students who come from religious families are more inclined to demonstrate gender equality(t= 2.42, p<.05). However, there is no difference in relation to the parents' ages or academic background or harmony within the family. 2) There is no difference that girls and boys generally communicate with their parents. In ages, 17 years old students communicate more than 18, 19 with parents(father F=3.97 p<.05ㆍmother F=5.31, p<.01). That is, the younger students can communicate with their mothers more often than the older ones. In sibling cases, two sisters have more openly communication to parents while two brothers have(F=2.84, p<.05). Students communicate with their parents regardless of parents' academic background. But those from the family in harmony have more open chance to communicate than those who are not in hamony(father F=21.66, p<.001ㆍmother F=13.37, p<.001). They can comm -unicate with their parents better when their fathers hug them than when they didn't get hugs(father t=-4.76, p<.001ㆍ mother t= -2.34, p<.05). They can also communicate with their patents better when their mothers hug them once or more than when they didn't get hugs(father t=-3.78, p<.001ㆍmother t=-5.64, p<.001). 3) There is no difference whether the father hugs or not, but the mother's hug is very important because students whose mothers hug them once or more have significantly more gender egalitarianism than those students whose mothers didn't do(t=-3.98, p<.001). Based upon these results, it is recommended that we reconsider the role of gender in the socialization of high school students and also include gender egalitarianism in sex education. In this context, further study should be done for the improvement of students' communication within the framework of egalitarianism based upon parents' hugs(semi-language). Continued study is especially important in regards to the mother's hug and its enhancement of the students' gender egalitarianism.

The music therapy education activity has been approved by five professionals who are renown in their specific field. They made comments that the development levels were properly divided in the paper. They also commented that the music program is adequate for achieving the goal of each developmental level and it stimulates the different levels of an infant's development. In conclusion, the study reflects that the approach of music therapy education stimulates the different levels of infant development. Music therapists can utilize this music program to help handicapped children identify characteristics of progress and develop at their own ability.
